Surah Al-Mursalat ( Those sent forth ) - Aya count 50
وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ عُرْفًا
( 1 ) 
Witness are these Messages (to the Sublime Truth), sent forth one after another.
فَالْعَاصِفَاتِ عَصْفًا
( 2 ) As they gain strength like a tempest.
وَالنَّاشِرَاتِ نَشْرًا
( 3 ) And spread (the Truth) far and wide.
فَالْفَارِقَاتِ فَرْقًا
( 4 ) While distinguishing the Right from Wrong with a clear distinction.
فَالْمُلْقِيَاتِ ذِكْرًا
( 5 ) In order to deliver the Reminder (into the hearts).
عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا
( 6 ) Whether one erases his faults or sees the danger signs. ('Uzr' = Excuse = Justification = Good news = Reasoning = Attempt to get rid of one's shortcomings. 'Nuzr' = Warning = Posting danger signs).
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَاقِعٌ
( 7 ) Behold, all that you are promised in this Writ will come to pass.
فَإِذَا النُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ
( 8 ) So when the stars lose their luster. (The small groups of opponents fade away).
وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ فُرِجَتْ
( 9 ) And when the sky is rent asunder. (Every high tyrant is decimated).
وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ
( 10 ) And when the mountains are blown away as dust. (The great ones who enslave the weak float around like flakes of wool). (20:105), (56:5).
وَإِذَا الرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ
( 11 ) And when all Messengers are summoned at the time appointed. (The unanimity of the Message of all Messengers will become evident).
لِأَيِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ
( 12 ) For what Day is the term delayed?
لِيَوْمِ الْفَصْلِ
( 13 ) For the Day of Decision!
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ
( 14 ) And what will enlighten you what that Day of Decision is?
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
( 15 ) Anguish on that Day for those who deny the Truth in practice! ('Kizb' = Lie = Belie = Deny the Truth in practical dealings = Deny by action. 'Kufr' = Frank denial in word and action).
أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ الْأَوَّلِينَ
( 16 ) Did We not annihilate the former generations?
ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ الْآخِرِينَ
( 17 ) Then We made them followed by later generations.
كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ
( 18 ) Thus do We always deal with the guilty.
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
( 19 ) Anguish on that Day for those who deny the Truth in practice!
أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّاءٍ مَّهِينٍ
( 20 ) Did We not create you from a humble fluid? (How, then, you forget your common origin and being humble to one another?)
فَجَعَلْنَاهُ فِي قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ
( 21 ) Which We then kept in a safe place. (23:13).
إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
( 22 ) For a term appointed.
فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ الْقَادِرُونَ
( 23 ) Thus We have determined (all things). How excellent is Our determining! (Appointing due measure of all things).
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
( 24 ) Anguish on that Day for those who deny the Truth in practice!
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا
( 25 ) Have We not made the earth a vessel -
أَحْيَاءً وَأَمْوَاتًا
( 26 ) Both for the living and the dead? (The cycle of life and death goes on right here). (3:27), (6:95), (10:31), (30:19).
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ شَامِخَاتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَاكُم مَّاءً فُرَاتًا
( 27 ) And placed therein firm lofty mountains (serving as water reservoirs), and given you fresh water to drink.
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
( 28 ) Anguish on that Day for those who deny the Truth in practice!
انطَلِقُوا إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ
( 29 ) Walk unto that which you used to belie.
انطَلِقُوا إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِي ثَلَاثِ شُعَبٍ
( 30 ) Walk unto the threefold shadow.
لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِنَ اللَّهَبِ
( 31 ) Giving neither cooling shade nor shelter from the Flame.
إِنَّهَا تَرْمِي بِشَرَرٍ كَالْقَصْرِ
( 32 ) Behold, it throws up sparks huge as castles.
كَأَنَّهُ جِمَالَتٌ صُفْرٌ
( 33 ) Moving like the caravans of bright yellow camels.
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
( 34 ) Anguish on that Day for those who deny the Truth in practice!
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
( 35 ) This is a Day when they are not able to speak.
وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ
( 36 ) Nor will they be allowed to make excuses.
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
( 37 ) Anguish on that Day for those who deny the Truth in practice!
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَاكُمْ وَالْأَوَّلِينَ
( 38 ) This is the Day of Decision. We have brought you and the generations of old together.
فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ
( 39 ) Now, if you have a trick, try it against Me.
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
( 40 ) Anguish on that Day for those who deny the Truth in practice!
إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلَالٍ وَعُيُونٍ
( 41 ) Behold, those who walk aright, are amid shades and springs.
وَفَوَاكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
( 42 ) And fruit as they desire.
كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
( 43 ) Enjoy, eat and drink. Welcome for what you have accomplished!
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ
( 44 ) Behold, thus do We reward the doers of good to others.
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
( 45 ) Anguish on that Day for those who deny the Truth in practice!
كُلُوا وَتَمَتَّعُوا قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ
( 46 ) Behold, you guilty ones! Enjoy and take your ease for a little while.
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
( 47 ) Anguish on that Day for those who deny the Truth in practice!
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ارْكَعُوا لَا يَرْكَعُونَ
( 48 ) And now when they are told, "Bow down", they bow not down! (They do not submit to Divine Commands).
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
( 49 ) Anguish on that Day for those who deny the Truth in practice!
فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَهُ يُؤْمِنُونَ
( 50 ) In what Hadith, after this, will they believe?
