لِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ ( 1 ) Quraish - Aya 1
For the privilege (of security) cherished by Quraish. Quraish - Aya 1
إِيلَافِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالصَّيْفِ ( 2 ) Quraish - Aya 2
Enjoying their winter and summer caravans. (To Yemen and Syria respectively, that makes them affluent). Quraish - Aya 2
فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَٰذَا الْبَيْتِ ( 3 ) Quraish - Aya 3
It infers, then, that they ought to serve the Lord of this House alone. (2:125-126). Quraish - Aya 3
الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍ وَآمَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍ ( 4 ) Quraish - Aya 4
Who has given them freedom from want, and has made them secure against fear. ('Ta'm' = Feeding = Taking care = Fulfilling needs = Freeing from want). Quraish - Aya 4
