أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ ( 1 ) At-Takathur ( The piling Up ) - Aya 1
The relentless greed of material gains distracts you (from the real purpose of life). (57:20), (83:26). At-Takathur ( The piling Up ) - Aya 1
حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ ( 2 ) At-Takathur ( The piling Up ) - Aya 2
Until you go down to your graves. At-Takathur ( The piling Up ) - Aya 2
كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ( 3 ) At-Takathur ( The piling Up ) - Aya 3
Nay! But you will come to know! At-Takathur ( The piling Up ) - Aya 3
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ( 4 ) At-Takathur ( The piling Up ) - Aya 4
Again, Nay! You will come to know. At-Takathur ( The piling Up ) - Aya 4
كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِينِ ( 5 ) At-Takathur ( The piling Up ) - Aya 5
Nay, only if you could have certain knowledge. At-Takathur ( The piling Up ) - Aya 5
لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِيمَ ( 6 ) At-Takathur ( The piling Up ) - Aya 6
You would see it now, the Insurmountable Barrier (in the way of your personal development (29:54), (79:36), (82:16)). At-Takathur ( The piling Up ) - Aya 6
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِينِ ( 7 ) At-Takathur ( The piling Up ) - Aya 7
Finally, you will behold it with sure vision. At-Takathur ( The piling Up ) - Aya 7
ثُمَّ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ ( 8 ) At-Takathur ( The piling Up ) - Aya 8
And, then, on that Day you will be questioned what you did with the boon of life. (21:13). At-Takathur ( The piling Up ) - Aya 8
