| 1 [2:164] | Inna fee khalqi alssamawatiwaal-ardi waikhtilafi allayli waalnnahariwaalfulki allatee tajree fee albahri bimayanfaAAu alnnasa wama anzala Allahumina alssama-i min ma-in faahyabihi al-arda baAAda mawtiha wabaththa feehamin kulli dabbatin watasreefi alrriyahiwaalssahabi almusakhkhari bayna alssama-iwaal-ardi laayatin liqawminyaAAqiloona |  إن في خلق السماوات والأرض واختلاف الليل والنهار والفلك التي تجري في البحر بما ينفع الناس وما أنزل الله من السماء من ماء فأحيا به الأرض بعد موتها وبث فيها من كل دابة وتصريف الرياح والسحاب المسخر بين السماء والأرض لآيات لقوم يعقلونإِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلاَفِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَالْفُلْكِ الَّتِي تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِمَا يَنفَعُ النَّاسَ وَمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مِن مَّاءٍ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٍ وَتَصْرِيفِ الرِّيَاحِ وَالسَّحَابِ الْمُسَخِّرِ بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| في - in| خلق - (the) creation| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| واختلاف - and alternation| الليل - of the night| والنهار - and the day,| والفلك - and the ships| التي - which| تجري - sail| في - in| البحر - the sea| بما - with what| ينفع - benefits| الناس - [the] people,| وما - and what| أنزل - (has) sent down| الله - Allah| من - from| السماء - the sky| من - [of]| ماء - water,| فأحيا - giving life| به - thereby| الأرض - (to) the earth| بعد - after| موتها - its death,| وبث - and dispersing| فيها - therein| من - [of]| كل - every| دابة - moving creature,| وتصريف - and directing| الرياح - (of) the winds| والسحاب - and the clouds| المسخر - [the] controlled| بين - between| السماء - the sky| والأرض - and the earth,| لآيات - surely (are) Signs| لقوم - for a people| يعقلون - who use their intellect.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:274] | Allatheena yunfiqoona amwalahumbiallayli waalnnahari sirran waAAalaniyatanfalahum ajruhum AAinda rabbihim wala khawfun AAalayhim walahum yahzanoona | الذين ينفقون أموالهم بالليل والنهار سرا وعلانية فلهم أجرهم عند ربهم ولا خوف عليهم ولا هم يحزنون الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُم بِالَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ سِرًّا وَعَلاَنِيَةً فَلَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| ينفقون - spend| أموالهم - their wealth| بالليل - by night| والنهار - and day| سرا - secretly| وعلانية - and openly,| فلهم - then for them| أجرهم - (is) their reward| عند - with| ربهم - their Lord,| ولا - and no| خوف - fear| عليهم - on them| ولا - and not| هم - they| يحزنون - will grieve.| | ||||||
| 3 [3:190] | Inna fee khalqi alssamawatiwaal-ardi waikhtilafi allayli waalnnaharilaayatin li-olee al-albabi | إن في خلق السماوات والأرض واختلاف الليل والنهار لآيات لأولي الألباب إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلاَفِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ لَآيَاتٍ لِّأُوْلِي الْأَلْبَابِ | |||||

| 4 [6:13] | Walahu ma sakana fee allayli waalnnahariwahuwa alssameeAAu alAAaleemu | وله ما سكن في الليل والنهار وهو السميع العليم وَلَهُ مَا سَكَنَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |وله - And for Him| ما - (is) whatever| سكن - dwells| في - in| الليل - the night| والنهار - and the day,| وهو - and He| السميع - (is) All-Hearing,| العليم - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 5 [10:6] | Inna fee ikhtilafi allayli waalnnahariwama khalaqa Allahu fee alssamawatiwaal-ardi laayatin liqawmin yattaqoona | إن في اختلاف الليل والنهار وما خلق الله في السماوات والأرض لآيات لقوم يتقون إِنَّ فِي اخْتِلاَفِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَمَا خَلَقَ اللّهُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| في - in| اختلاف - (the) alternation| الليل - (of) the night| والنهار - and the day| وما - and what| خلق - (has been) created| الله - (by) Allah| في - in| السماوات - the heavens,| والأرض - and the earth| لآيات - (are) Signs| لقوم - for a people| يتقون - who are God conscious.| | ||||||
| 6 [10:67] | Huwa allathee jaAAala lakumu allaylalitaskunoo feehi waalnnahara mubsiran innafee thalika laayatin liqawmin yasmaAAoona | هو الذي جعل لكم الليل لتسكنوا فيه والنهار مبصرا إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يسمعون هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُواْ فِيهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ | |||||

| 7 [14:33] | Wasakhkhara lakumu alshshamsa waalqamarada-ibayni wasakhkhara lakumu allayla waalnnahara | وسخر لكم الشمس والقمر دائبين وسخر لكم الليل والنهار وَسَخَّر لَكُمُ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ دَآئِبَينَ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ | |||||
| Words | |وسخر - And He subjected| لكم - for you| الشمس - the sun| والقمر - and the moon,| دائبين - both constantly pursuing their courses,| وسخر - and subjected| لكم - for you| الليل - the night| والنهار - and the day.| | ||||||
| 8 [16:12] | Wasakhkhara lakumu allayla waalnnaharawaalshshamsa waalqamara waalnnujoomumusakhkharatun bi-amrihi inna fee thalika laayatinliqawmin yaAAqiloona | وسخر لكم الليل والنهار والشمس والقمر والنجوم مسخرات بأمره إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يعقلون وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالْنَّهَارَ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالْنُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَاتٌ بِأَمْرِهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وسخر - And He has subjected| لكم - for you| الليل - the night| والنهار - and the day,| والشمس - and the sun| والقمر - and the moon,| والنجوم - and the stars| مسخرات - (are) subjected| بأمره - by His command.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآيات - surely (are) signs| لقوم - for a people| يعقلون - who use reason.| | ||||||
| 9 [17:12] | WajaAAalna allayla waalnnaharaayatayni famahawna ayata allayliwajaAAalna ayata alnnahari mubsiratanlitabtaghoo fadlan min rabbikum walitaAAlamoo AAadada alssineenawaalhisaba wakulla shay-in fassalnahutafseelan | وجعلنا الليل والنهار آيتين فمحونا آية الليل وجعلنا آية النهار مبصرة لتبتغوا فضلا من ربكم ولتعلموا عدد السنين والحساب وكل شيء فصلناه تفصيلا وَجَعَلْنَا اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ آيَتَيْنِ فَمَحَوْنَا آيَةَ اللَّيْلِ وَجَعَلْنَا آيَةَ النَّهَارِ مُبْصِرَةً لِّتَبْتَغُواْ فَضْلاً مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَلِتَعْلَمُواْ عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ وَالْحِسَابَ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَصَّلْنَاهُ تَفْصِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |وجعلنا - And We have made| الليل - the night| والنهار - and the day| آيتين - (as) two signs.| فمحونا - Then We erased| آية - (the) sign| الليل - (of) the night,| وجعلنا - and We made| آية - (the) sign| النهار - (of) the day| مبصرة - visible,| لتبتغوا - that you may seek| فضلا - bounty| من - from| ربكم - your Lord,| ولتعلموا - and that you may know| عدد - (the) number| السنين - (of) the years,| والحساب - and the account.| وكل - And every| شيء - thing -| فصلناه - We have explained it| تفصيلا - (in) detail.| | ||||||
| 10 [21:20] | Yusabbihoona allayla waalnnaharala yafturoona | يسبحون الليل والنهار لا يفترون يُسَبِّحُونَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ لَا يَفْتُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يسبحون - They glorify (Him)| الليل - [the] night| والنهار - and [the] day,| لا - not| يفترون - they slacken.| | ||||||
| 11 [21:33] | Wahuwa allathee khalaqa allayla waalnnaharawaalshshamsa waalqamara kullun fee falakin yasbahoona | وهو الذي خلق الليل والنهار والشمس والقمر كل في فلك يسبحون وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وهو - And He| الذي - (is) the One Who| خلق - created| الليل - the night| والنهار - and the day,| والشمس - and the sun| والقمر - and the moon;| كل - each| في - in| فلك - an orbit| يسبحون - floating.| | ||||||
| 12 [21:42] | Qul man yaklaokum biallayli waalnnaharimina alrrahmani bal hum AAan thikrirabbihim muAAridoona | قل من يكلؤكم بالليل والنهار من الرحمن بل هم عن ذكر ربهم معرضون قُلْ مَن يَكْلَؤُكُم بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ مِنَ الرَّحْمَنِ بَلْ هُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِم مُّعْرِضُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| من - "Who| يكلؤكم - (can) protect you| بالليل - in the night| والنهار - and the day| من - from| الرحمن - the Most Gracious?"| بل - Yet,| هم - they| عن - from| ذكر - (the) remembrance| ربهم - (of) their Lord| معرضون - turn away.| | ||||||
| 13 [23:80] | Wahuwa allathee yuhyeewayumeetu walahu ikhtilafu allayli waalnnahariafala taAAqiloona | وهو الذي يحيي ويميت وله اختلاف الليل والنهار أفلا تعقلون وَهُوَ الَّذِي يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَلَهُ اخْتِلَافُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وهو - And He| الذي - (is) the One Who| يحيي - gives life| ويميت - and causes death| وله - and for Him| اختلاف - (is the) alternation| الليل - (of) the night| والنهار - and the day.| أفلا - Then will not| تعقلون - you reason?| | ||||||
| 14 [24:44] | Yuqallibu Allahu allayla waalnnaharainna fee thalika laAAibratan li-olee al-absari | يقلب الله الليل والنهار إن في ذلك لعبرة لأولي الأبصار يُقَلِّبُ اللَّهُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِّأُوْلِي الْأَبْصَارِ | |||||
| Words | |يقلب - Allah alternates| الله - Allah alternates| الليل - the night| والنهار - and the day.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لعبرة - surely is a lesson| لأولي - for those who have vision.| الأبصار - for those who have vision.| | ||||||
| 15 [25:62] | Wahuwa allathee jaAAala allayla waalnnaharakhilfatan liman arada an yaththakkara aw aradashukooran | وهو الذي جعل الليل والنهار خلفة لمن أراد أن يذكر أو أراد شكورا وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِّمَنْ أَرَادَ أَن يَذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًا | |||||
| Words | |وهو - And He| الذي - (is) the One Who| جعل - made| الليل - the night| والنهار - and the day| خلفة - (in) succession| لمن - for whoever| أراد - desires| أن - to| يذكر - remember| أو - or| أراد - desires| شكورا - to be thankful.| | ||||||
| 16 [27:86] | Alam yaraw anna jaAAalnaallayla liyaskunoo feehi waalnnahara mubsiraninna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin yu/minoona | ألم يروا أنا جعلنا الليل ليسكنوا فيه والنهار مبصرا إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يؤمنون أَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا اللَّيْلَ لِيَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Do not| يروا - they see| أنا - that We| جعلنا - [We] have made| الليل - the night| ليسكنوا - that they may rest| فيه - in it,| والنهار - and the day| مبصرا - giving visibility?| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآيات - surely (are) Signs| لقوم - for a people| يؤمنون - who believe.| | ||||||
| 17 [28:73] | Wamin rahmatihi jaAAala lakumuallayla waalnnahara litaskunoo feehi walitabtaghoomin fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroona | ومن رحمته جعل لكم الليل والنهار لتسكنوا فيه ولتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون وَمِن رَّحْمَتِهِ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And from| رحمته - His Mercy| جعل - He made| لكم - for you| الليل - the night| والنهار - and the day,| لتسكنوا - that you may rest| فيه - therein| ولتبتغوا - and that you may seek| من - from| فضله - His Bounty,| ولعلكم - and so that you may| تشكرون - be grateful.| | ||||||
| 18 [30:23] | Wamin ayatihi manamukumbiallayli waalnnahari waibtighaokummin fadlihi inna fee thalika laayatinliqawmin yasmaAAoona | ومن آياته منامكم بالليل والنهار وابتغاؤكم من فضله إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يسمعون وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ مَنَامُكُم بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَابْتِغَاؤُكُم مِّن فَضْلِهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And among| آياته - His Signs| منامكم - (is) your sleep| بالليل - by night| والنهار - and the day| وابتغاؤكم - [and] your seeking| من - of| فضله - His Bounty.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآيات - surely (are) Signs| لقوم - for a people| يسمعون - who listen.| | ||||||
| 19 [34:33] | Waqala allatheena istudAAifoolillatheena istakbaroo bal makru allayli waalnnahariith ta/muroonana an nakfura biAllahiwanajAAala lahu andadan waasarroo alnnadamatalamma raawoo alAAathaba wajaAAalna al-aghlalafee aAAnaqi allatheena kafaroo hal yujzawna illama kanoo yaAAmaloona | وقال الذين استضعفوا للذين استكبروا بل مكر الليل والنهار إذ تأمروننا أن نكفر بالله ونجعل له أندادا وأسروا الندامة لما رأوا العذاب وجعلنا الأغلال في أعناق الذين كفروا هل يجزون إلا ما كانوا يعملون وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا بَلْ مَكْرُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ إِذْ تَأْمُرُونَنَا أَن نَّكْفُرَ بِاللَّهِ وَنَجْعَلَ لَهُ أَندَادًا وَأَسَرُّوا النَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ وَجَعَلْنَا الْأَغْلَالَ فِي أَعْنَاقِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And will say| الذين - those who| استضعفوا - were oppressed| للذين - to those who| استكبروا - were arrogant,| بل - "Nay,| مكر - (it was) a plot| الليل - (by) night| والنهار - and (by) day| إذ - when| تأمروننا - you were ordering us| أن - that| نكفر - we disbelieve| بالله - in Allah| ونجعل - and we set up| له - for Him| أندادا - equals."| وأسروا - But they will conceal| الندامة - the regret| لما - when| رأوا - they see| العذاب - the punishment.| وجعلنا - And We will put| الأغلال - shackles| في - on| أعناق - (the) necks| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieved.| هل - Will| يجزون - they be recompensed| إلا - except| ما - (for) what| كانوا - they used to| يعملون - do?| | ||||||
| 20 [40:61] | Allahu allathee jaAAala lakumuallayla litaskunoo feehi waalnnahara mubsiraninna Allaha lathoo fadlin AAala alnnasiwalakinna akthara alnnasi layashkuroona | الله الذي جعل لكم الليل لتسكنوا فيه والنهار مبصرا إن الله لذو فضل على الناس ولكن أكثر الناس لا يشكرون اللَّهُ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
