| 1 [2:54] | Wa-ith qala moosaliqawmihi ya qawmi innakum thalamtumanfusakum biittikhathikumu alAAijla fatooboo ilabari-ikum faoqtuloo anfusakum thalikumkhayrun lakum AAinda bari-ikum fataba AAalaykuminnahu huwa alttawwabu alrraheemu |  وإذ قال موسى لقومه يا قوم إنكم ظلمتم أنفسكم باتخاذكم العجل فتوبوا إلى بارئكم فاقتلوا أنفسكم ذلكم خير لكم عند بارئكم فتاب عليكم إنه هو التواب الرحيموَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ إِنَّكُمْ ظَلَمْتُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ بِاتِّخَاذِكُمُ الْعِجْلَ فَتُوبُواْ إِلَى بَارِئِكُمْ فَاقْتُلُواْ أَنْـفُسَكُمْ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ عِندَ بَارِئِكُمْ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِنَّهُ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قال - said| موسى - Musa| لقومه - to his people,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| إنكم - Indeed, you| ظلمتم - [you] have wronged| أنفسكم - yourselves| باتخاذكم - by your taking| العجل - the calf.| فتوبوا - So turn in repentance| إلى - to| بارئكم - your Creator,| فاقتلوا - and kill| أنفسكم - yourselves.| ذلكم - That| خير - (is) better| لكم - for you| عند - with| بارئكم - your Creator."| فتاب - Then He turned| عليكم - towards you.| إنه - Indeed He!| هو - He| التواب - (is) the-returning,| الرحيم - the Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:140] | Waqad nazzala AAalaykum fee alkitabian itha samiAAtum ayati Allahiyukfaru biha wayustahzao biha fala taqAAudoomaAAahum hatta yakhoodoo fee hadeethinghayrihi innakum ithan mithluhum inna Allaha jamiAAualmunafiqeena waalkafireena fee jahannamajameeAAan | وقد نزل عليكم في الكتاب أن إذا سمعتم آيات الله يكفر بها ويستهزأ بها فلا تقعدوا معهم حتى يخوضوا في حديث غيره إنكم إذا مثلهم إن الله جامع المنافقين والكافرين في جهنم جميعا وَقَدْ نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الْكِتَابِ أَنْ إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ آيَاتِ اللّهِ يُكْفَرُ بِهَا وَيُسْتَهْزَأُ بِهَا فَلاَ تَقْعُدُواْ مَعَهُمْ حَتَّى يَخُوضُواْ فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِ إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا مِّثْلُهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ جَامِعُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْكَافِرِينَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ جَمِيعًا | |||||
| Words | |وقد - And surely| نزل - He has revealed| عليكم - to you| في - in| الكتاب - the Book| أن - that| إذا - when| سمعتم - you hear| آيات - (the) Verses| الله - (of) Allah| يكفر - being rejected| بها - [it]| ويستهزأ - and ridiculed| بها - at [it],| فلا - then do not| تقعدوا - sit| معهم - with them| حتى - until| يخوضوا - they engage| في - in| حديث - a conversation| غيره - other than that.| إنكم - Indeed, you| إذا - then,| مثلهم - (would be) like them.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| جامع - will gather| المنافقين - the hypocrites| والكافرين - and the disbelievers| في - in| جهنم - Hell| جميعا - all together.| | ||||||
| 3 [6:121] | Wala ta/kuloo mimma lam yuthkariismu Allahi AAalayhi wa-innahu lafisqun wa-inna alshshayateenalayoohoona ila awliya-ihim liyujadilookumwa-in ataAAtumoohum innakum lamushrikoona | ولا تأكلوا مما لم يذكر اسم الله عليه وإنه لفسق وإن الشياطين ليوحون إلى أوليائهم ليجادلوكم وإن أطعتموهم إنكم لمشركون وَلاَ تَأْكُلُواْ مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّهُ لَفِسْقٌ وَإِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ لَيُوحُونَ إِلَى أَوْلِيَآئِهِمْ لِيُجَادِلُوكُمْ وَإِنْ أَطَعْتُمُوهُمْ إِنَّكُمْ لَمُشْرِكُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تأكلوا - eat| مما - of that,| لم - not| يذكر - has been mentioned| اسم - (the) name| الله - (of) Allah| عليه - on it,| وإنه - and indeed, it (is)| لفسق - grave disobedience.| وإن - And indeed,| الشياطين - the devils| ليوحون - inspire| إلى - to| أوليائهم - their friends| ليجادلوكم - so that they dispute with you,| وإن - and if| أطعتموهم - you obey them,| إنكم - indeed, you| لمشركون - (would) be the polytheists.| | ||||||
| 4 [7:81] | Innakum lata/toona alrrijalashahwatan min dooni alnnisa-i bal antum qawmunmusrifoona | إنكم لتأتون الرجال شهوة من دون النساء بل أنتم قوم مسرفون إِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةً مِّن دُونِ النِّسَاءِ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنكم - Indeed, you| لتأتون - you approach| الرجال - the men| شهوة - lustfully| من - from| دون - instead of| النساء - the women.| بل - Nay,| أنتم - you| قوم - (are) a people| مسرفون - (who) commit excesses."| | ||||||
| 5 [7:90] | Waqala almalao allatheenakafaroo min qawmihi la-ini ittabaAAtum shuAAayban innakum ithanlakhasiroona | وقال الملأ الذين كفروا من قومه لئن اتبعتم شعيبا إنكم إذا لخاسرون وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَوْمِهِ لَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتُمْ شُعَيْباً إِنَّكُمْ إِذاً لَّخَاسِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| الملأ - the chiefs| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieved| من - among| قومه - his people,| لئن - "If| اتبعتم - you follow| شعيبا - Shuaib,| إنكم - indeed, you| إذا - then| لخاسرون - (will be) certainly losers."| | ||||||
| 6 [7:138] | Wajawazna bibanee isra-eelaalbahra faataw AAala qawmin yaAAkufoona AAalaasnamin lahum qaloo ya moosaijAAal lana ilahan kama lahum alihatunqala innakum qawmun tajhaloona | وجاوزنا ببني إسرائيل البحر فأتوا على قوم يعكفون على أصنام لهم قالوا يا موسى اجعل لنا إلها كما لهم آلهة قال إنكم قوم تجهلون وَجَاوَزْنَا بِبَنِي إِسْرَآئِيلَ الْبَحْرَ فَأَتَوْاْ عَلَى قَوْمٍ يَعْكُفُونَ عَلَى أَصْنَامٍ لَّهُمْ قَالُواْ يَا مُوسَى اجْعَل لَّنَا إِلَـهًا كَمَا لَهُمْ آلِهَةٌ قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ تَجْهَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وجاوزنا - And We led across| ببني - (the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel| البحر - the sea.| فأتوا - Then they came| على - upon| قوم - a people| يعكفون - devoted| على - to| أصنام - idols| لهم - of theirs.| قالوا - They said,| يا - O| موسى - "O Musa!| اجعل - Make| لنا - for us| إلها - a god| كما - like what| لهم - they have| آلهة - gods.| قال - He said,| إنكم - "Indeed, you| قوم - (are) a people| تجهلون - ignorant.| | ||||||
| 7 [9:53] | Qul anfiqoo tawAAan aw karhan lanyutaqabbala minkum innakum kuntum qawman fasiqeena | قل أنفقوا طوعا أو كرها لن يتقبل منكم إنكم كنتم قوما فاسقين قُلْ أَنفِقُواْ طَوْعًا أَوْ كَرْهًا لَّن يُتَقَبَّلَ مِنكُمْ إِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| أنفقوا - "Spend| طوعا - willingly| أو - or| كرها - unwillingly;| لن - never| يتقبل - will be accepted| منكم - from you.| إنكم - Indeed, you| كنتم - [you] are| قوما - a people| فاسقين - defiantly disobedient."| | ||||||
| 8 [9:83] | Fa-in rajaAAaka Allahu ila ta-ifatinminhum faista/thanooka lilkhurooji faqul lantakhrujoo maAAiya abadan walan tuqatiloo maAAiya AAaduwwaninnakum radeetum bialquAAoodi awwala marratin faoqAAudoomaAAa alkhalifeena | فإن رجعك الله إلى طائفة منهم فاستأذنوك للخروج فقل لن تخرجوا معي أبدا ولن تقاتلوا معي عدوا إنكم رضيتم بالقعود أول مرة فاقعدوا مع الخالفين فَإِن رَّجَعَكَ اللّهُ إِلَى طَآئِفَةٍ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسْتَأْذَنُوكَ لِلْخُرُوجِ فَقُل لَّن تَخْرُجُواْ مَعِيَ أَبَدًا وَلَن تُقَاتِلُواْ مَعِيَ عَدُوًّا إِنَّكُمْ رَضِيتُم بِالْقُعُودِ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ فَاقْعُدُواْ مَعَ الْخَالِفِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فإن - Then if| رجعك - Allah returns you| الله - Allah returns you| إلى - to| طائفة - a group| منهم - of them,| فاستأذنوك - and they ask you permission| للخروج - to go out,| فقل - then say,| لن - "Never| تخرجوا - will you come out| معي - with me| أبدا - ever| ولن - and never| تقاتلوا - will you fight| معي - with me| عدوا - any enemy.| إنكم - Indeed, you| رضيتم - were satisfied| بالقعود - with sitting| أول - (the) first| مرة - time,| فاقعدوا - so sit| مع - with| الخالفين - those who stay behind."| | ||||||
| 9 [11:7] | Wahuwa allathee khalaqa alssamawatiwaal-arda fee sittati ayyamin wakanaAAarshuhu AAala alma-i liyabluwakum ayyukum ahsanuAAamalan wala-in qulta innakum mabAAoothoona min baAAdi almawtilayaqoolanna allatheena kafaroo in hatha illasihrun mubeenun | وهو الذي خلق السماوات والأرض في ستة أيام وكان عرشه على الماء ليبلوكم أيكم أحسن عملا ولئن قلت إنكم مبعوثون من بعد الموت ليقولن الذين كفروا إن هذا إلا سحر مبين وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَق السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ وَكَانَ عَرْشُهُ عَلَى الْمَاءِ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلاً وَلَئِن قُلْتَ إِنَّكُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ مِن بَعْدِ الْمَوْتِ لَيَقُولَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ إِنْ هَـذَا إِلاَّ سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |وهو - And He| الذي - (is) the One Who| خلق - created| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth| في - in| ستة - six| أيام - epochs,| وكان - and His throne was| عرشه - and His throne was| على - on| الماء - the water| ليبلوكم - that He might test [you]| أيكم - which of you| أحسن - (is) best| عملا - (in) deed.| ولئن - But if| قلت - you say,| إنكم - "Indeed, you| مبعوثون - (will be) resurrected| من - after| بعد - after| الموت - [the] death,"| ليقولن - surely would say| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved,| إن - "This is not| هذا - "This is not| إلا - but| سحر - a magic| مبين - clear."| | ||||||
| 10 [12:70] | Falamma jahhazahum bijahazihimjaAAala alssiqayata fee rahli akheehi thummaaththana mu-aththinun ayyatuha alAAeeruinnakum lasariqoona | فلما جهزهم بجهازهم جعل السقاية في رحل أخيه ثم أذن مؤذن أيتها العير إنكم لسارقون فَلَمَّا جَهَّزَهُم بِجَهَازِهِمْ جَعَلَ السِّقَايَةَ فِي رَحْلِ أَخِيهِ ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنٌ أَيَّتُهَا الْعِيرُ إِنَّكُمْ لَسَارِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| جهزهم - he had furnished them| بجهازهم - with their supplies,| جعل - he put| السقاية - the drinking cup| في - in| رحل - the bag| أخيه - (of) his brother.| ثم - Then| أذن - called out| مؤذن - an announcer| أيتها - "O you| العير - (in) the caravan!| إنكم - Indeed, you| لسارقون - surely (are) thieves."| | ||||||
| 11 [15:62] | Qala innakum qawmun munkaroona | قال إنكم قوم منكرون قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| إنكم - "Indeed, you| قوم - (are) a people| منكرون - unknown."| | ||||||
| 12 [16:86] | Wa-itha raa allatheenaashrakoo shurakaahum qaloo rabbana haola-ishurakaona allatheena kunna nadAAoomin doonika faalqaw ilayhimu alqawla innakum lakathiboona | وإذا رأى الذين أشركوا شركاءهم قالوا ربنا هؤلاء شركاؤنا الذين كنا ندعو من دونك فألقوا إليهم القول إنكم لكاذبون وَإِذَا رَأَى الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ شُرَكَاءَهُمْ قَالُواْ رَبَّنَا هَـؤُلاَءِ شُرَكَآؤُنَا الَّذِينَ كُنَّا نَدْعُوْاْ مِن دُونِكَ فَألْقَوْا إِلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلَ إِنَّكُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| رأى - (will) see| الذين - those who| أشركوا - associated partners with Allah| شركاءهم - their partners.| قالوا - They will say,| ربنا - "Our Lord,| هؤلاء - these| شركاؤنا - (are) our partners| الذين - those whom| كنا - we used to| ندعو - invoke| من - besides You."| دونك - besides You."| فألقوا - But they (will) throw back| إليهم - at them| القول - (their) word,| إنكم - "Indeed, you| لكاذبون - (are) surely liars."| | ||||||
| 13 [17:40] | Afaasfakum rabbukum bialbaneenawaittakhatha mina almala-ikati inathaninnakum lataqooloona qawlan AAatheeman | أفأصفاكم ربكم بالبنين واتخذ من الملائكة إناثا إنكم لتقولون قولا عظيما أَفَأَصْفَاكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِالْبَنِينَ وَاتَّخَذَ مِنَ الْمَلَآئِكَةِ إِنَاثًا إِنَّكُمْ لَتَقُولُونَ قَوْلاً عَظِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |أفأصفاكم - Then has your Lord chosen (for) you| ربكم - Then has your Lord chosen (for) you| بالبنين - sons| واتخذ - and He has taken| من - from| الملائكة - the Angels| إناثا - daughters?| إنكم - Indeed, you| لتقولون - surely say| قولا - a word| عظيما - grave.| | ||||||
| 14 [21:64] | FarajaAAoo ila anfusihim faqalooinnakum antumu alththalimoona | فرجعوا إلى أنفسهم فقالوا إنكم أنتم الظالمون فَرَجَعُوا إِلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ فَقَالُوا إِنَّكُمْ أَنتُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فرجعوا - So they returned| إلى - to| أنفسهم - themselves| فقالوا - and said,| إنكم - "Indeed, you| أنتم - [you]| الظالمون - (are) the wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 15 [21:98] | Innakum wama taAAbudoona min dooniAllahi hasabu jahannama antum laha waridoona | إنكم وما تعبدون من دون الله حصب جهنم أنتم لها واردون إِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ حَصَبُ جَهَنَّمَ أَنتُمْ لَهَا وَارِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنكم - Indeed, you| وما - and what| تعبدون - you worship| من - besides Allah| دون - besides Allah| الله - besides Allah| حصب - (are) firewood| جهنم - (of) Hell.| أنتم - You| لها - to it| واردون - will come.| | ||||||
| 16 [23:15] | Thumma innakum baAAda thalikalamayyitoona | ثم إنكم بعد ذلك لميتون ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ لَمَيِّتُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| إنكم - indeed, you| بعد - after| ذلك - that| لميتون - surely (will) die.| | ||||||
| 17 [23:16] | Thumma innakum yawma alqiyamatitubAAathoona | ثم إنكم يوم القيامة تبعثون ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ تُبْعَثُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| إنكم - indeed, you| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection,| تبعثون - will be resurrected.| | ||||||
| 18 [23:34] | Wala-in ataAAtum basharan mithlakuminnakum ithan lakhasiroona | ولئن أطعتم بشرا مثلكم إنكم إذا لخاسرون وَلَئِنْ أَطَعْتُم بَشَرًا مِثْلَكُمْ إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا لَّخَاسِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولئن - And surely if| أطعتم - you obey| بشرا - a man| مثلكم - like you,| إنكم - indeed, you| إذا - then| لخاسرون - surely (will be) losers.| | ||||||
| 19 [23:65] | La taj-aroo alyawma innakum minnala tunsaroona | لا تجأروا اليوم إنكم منا لا تنصرون لَا تَجْأَرُوا الْيَوْمَ إِنَّكُم مِّنَّا لَا تُنصَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لا - "(Do) not| تجأروا - cry for help| اليوم - today.| إنكم - Indeed, you| منا - from Us| لا - not| تنصرون - will be helped.| | ||||||
| 20 [26:52] | Waawhayna ila moosaan asri biAAibadee innakum muttabaAAoona | وأوحينا إلى موسى أن أسر بعبادي إنكم متبعون وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى أَنْ أَسْرِ بِعِبَادِي إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ | |||||
