| 1 [3:75] | Wamin ahli alkitabi man in ta/manhubiqintarin yu-addihi ilayka waminhum man in ta/manhubideenarin la yu-addihi ilayka illa madumta AAalayhi qa-iman thalika bi-annahum qaloolaysa AAalayna fee al-ommiyyeena sabeelun wayaqooloonaAAala Allahi alkathiba wahum yaAAlamoona |  ومن أهل الكتاب من إن تأمنه بقنطار يؤده إليك ومنهم من إن تأمنه بدينار لا يؤده إليك إلا ما دمت عليه قائما ذلك بأنهم قالوا ليس علينا في الأميين سبيل ويقولون على الله الكذب وهم يعلمونوَمِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ مَنْ إِن تَأْمَنْهُ بِقِنطَارٍ يُؤَدِّهِ إِلَيْكَ وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ إِن تَأْمَنْهُ بِدِينَارٍ لاَّ يُؤَدِّهِ إِلَيْكَ إِلاَّ مَا دُمْتَ عَلَيْهِ قَآئِمًا ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُواْ لَيْسَ عَلَيْنَا فِي الأُمِّيِّينَ سَبِيلٌ وَيَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And from| أهل - (the) People| الكتاب - (of) the Book| من - (is he) who,| إن - if| تأمنه - you entrust him| بقنطار - with a great amount of wealth| يؤده - he will return it| إليك - to you.| ومنهم - And from them| من - (is he) who,| إن - if| تأمنه - you entrust him| بدينار - with a single coin| لا - not| يؤده - he will return it| إليك - to you| إلا - except| ما - that| دمت - you keep constantly| عليه - over him| قائما - standing.| ذلك - That| بأنهم - (is) because they| قالوا - said,| ليس - "Not| علينا - on us| في - concerning| الأميين - the unlettered people| سبيل - any [way] (accountability)."| ويقولون - And they say| على - about| الله - Allah| الكذب - the lie| وهم - while they| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:78] | Wa-inna minhum lafareeqan yalwoonaalsinatahum bialkitabi litahsaboohu minaalkitabi wama huwa mina alkitabiwayaqooloona huwa min AAindi Allahi wama huwa minAAindi Allahi wayaqooloona AAala Allahi alkathibawahum yaAAlamoona | وإن منهم لفريقا يلوون ألسنتهم بالكتاب لتحسبوه من الكتاب وما هو من الكتاب ويقولون هو من عند الله وما هو من عند الله ويقولون على الله الكذب وهم يعلمون وَإِنَّ مِنْهُمْ لَفَرِيقًا يَلْوُونَ أَلْسِنَتَهُم بِالْكِتَابِ لِتَحْسَبُوهُ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَيَقُولُونَ هُوَ مِنْ عِندِ اللّهِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنْ عِندِ اللّهِ وَيَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And indeed,| منهم - among them| لفريقا - surely (is) a group -| يلوون - they distort| ألسنتهم - their tongues| بالكتاب - in (reciting) the Book| لتحسبوه - so that you may think it| من - (is) from| الكتاب - the Book| وما - and not| هو - it| من - (is) from| الكتاب - the Book.| ويقولون - And they say,| هو - "It| من - (is)| عند - from| الله - Allah."| وما - But not| هو - it| من - (is)| عند - from| الله - Allah.| ويقولون - And they say| على - about| الله - Allah| الكذب - the lie| وهم - while they| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 3 [4:46] | Mina allatheena hadoo yuharrifoonaalkalima AAan mawadiAAihi wayaqooloona samiAAnawaAAasayna waismaAA ghayra musmaAAin waraAAinalayyan bi-alsinatihim wataAAnan fee alddeeni walawannahum qaloo samiAAna waataAAna waismaAAwaonthurna lakana khayranlahum waaqwama walakin laAAanahumu Allahubikufrihim fala yu/minoona illa qaleelan | من الذين هادوا يحرفون الكلم عن مواضعه ويقولون سمعنا وعصينا واسمع غير مسمع وراعنا ليا بألسنتهم وطعنا في الدين ولو أنهم قالوا سمعنا وأطعنا واسمع وانظرنا لكان خيرا لهم وأقوم ولكن لعنهم الله بكفرهم فلا يؤمنون إلا قليلا مِّنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُواْ يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِ وَيَقُولُونَ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَاسْمَعْ غَيْرَ مُسْمَعٍ وَرَاعِنَا لَيًّا بِأَلْسِنَتِهِمْ وَطَعْنًا فِي الدِّينِ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُواْ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَاسْمَعْ وَانْظُرْنَا لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ وَأَقْوَمَ وَلَكِن لَّعَنَهُمُ اللّهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَلاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |من - Of| الذين - those who| هادوا - are Jews,| يحرفون - they distort| الكلم - the words| عن - from| مواضعه - their places| ويقولون - and they say,| سمعنا - "We hear[d]| وعصينا - and we disobey[ed]"| واسمع - and "Hear| غير - not| مسمع - to be heard| وراعنا - and "Raina"| ليا - twisting| بألسنتهم - [with] their tongues| وطعنا - and defaming| في - [in]| الدين - the religion.| ولو - And if| أنهم - [that] they| قالوا - (had) said,| سمعنا - "We hear[d]| وأطعنا - and we obey[ed]"| واسمع - and "Hear| وانظرنا - and look (at) us,"| لكان - surely it (would) have been| خيرا - better| لهم - for them| وأقوم - and more suitable.| ولكن - [And] but| لعنهم - cursed them| الله - Allah| بكفرهم - for their disbelief,| فلا - so not| يؤمنون - they believe| إلا - except| قليلا - a few.| | ||||||
| 4 [4:51] | Alam tara ila allatheena ootoonaseeban mina alkitabi yu/minoona bialjibtiwaalttaghooti wayaqooloona lillatheenakafaroo haola-i ahda mina allatheena amanoosabeelan | ألم تر إلى الذين أوتوا نصيبا من الكتاب يؤمنون بالجبت والطاغوت ويقولون للذين كفروا هؤلاء أهدى من الذين آمنوا سبيلا أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ نَصِيبًا مِّنَ الْكِتَابِ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْجِبْتِ وَالطَّاغُوتِ وَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ هَؤُلاَءِ أَهْدَى مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ سَبِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Do not| تر - you see| إلى - [towards]| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| نصيبا - a portion| من - of| الكتاب - the Book?| يؤمنون - They believe| بالجبت - in the superstition| والطاغوت - and the false deities,| ويقولون - and they say| للذين - for those who| كفروا - disbelieve[d]| هؤلاء - "These| أهدى - (are) better guided| من - than| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe[d]| سبيلا - (as to the) way.| | ||||||
| 5 [4:81] | Wayaqooloona taAAatun fa-ithabarazoo min AAindika bayyata ta-ifatun minhum ghayra allatheetaqoolu waAllahu yaktubu ma yubayyitoonafaaAArid AAanhum watawakkal AAala Allahiwakafa biAllahi wakeelan | ويقولون طاعة فإذا برزوا من عندك بيت طائفة منهم غير الذي تقول والله يكتب ما يبيتون فأعرض عنهم وتوكل على الله وكفى بالله وكيلا وَيَقُولُونَ طَاعَةٌ فَإِذَا بَرَزُواْ مِنْ عِندِكَ بَيَّتَ طَآئِفَةٌ مِّنْهُمْ غَيْرَ الَّذِي تَقُولُ وَاللّهُ يَكْتُبُ مَا يُبَيِّتُونَ فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّهِ وَكَفَى بِاللّهِ وَكِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |ويقولون - And they say,| طاعة - "(We pledge) obedience."| فإذا - Then when| برزوا - they leave| من - from| عندك - you,| بيت - plan by night| طائفة - a group| منهم - of them| غير - other than| الذي - that which| تقول - you say.| والله - But Allah| يكتب - records| ما - what| يبيتون - they plan by night.| فأعرض - So turn (away)| عنهم - from them| وتوكل - and put (your) trust| على - in| الله - Allah.| وكفى - And sufficient| بالله - is Allah| وكيلا - (as) a Trustee.| | ||||||
| 6 [4:150] | Inna allatheena yakfuroona biAllahiwarusulihi wayureedoona an yufarriqoo bayna Allahiwarusulihi wayaqooloona nu/minu bibaAAdin wanakfuru bibaAAdinwayureedoona an yattakhithoo bayna thalika sabeelan | إن الذين يكفرون بالله ورسله ويريدون أن يفرقوا بين الله ورسله ويقولون نؤمن ببعض ونكفر ببعض ويريدون أن يتخذوا بين ذلك سبيلا إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْفُرُونَ بِاللّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَيُرِيدُونَ أَن يُفَرِّقُواْ بَيْنَ اللّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَيقُولُونَ نُؤْمِنُ بِبَعْضٍ وَنَكْفُرُ بِبَعْضٍ وَيُرِيدُونَ أَن يَتَّخِذُواْ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ سَبِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| يكفرون - disbelieve| بالله - in Allah| ورسله - and His Messengers| ويريدون - and they wish| أن - that| يفرقوا - they differentiate| بين - between| الله - Allah| ورسله - and His Messengers| ويقولون - and they say,| نؤمن - "We believe| ببعض - in some| ونكفر - and we disbelieve| ببعض - in others."| ويريدون - And they wish| أن - that| يتخذوا - they take| بين - between| ذلك - that| سبيلا - a way.| | ||||||
| 7 [7:169] | Fakhalafa min baAAdihim khalfun warithooalkitaba ya/khuthoona AAarada hathaal-adna wayaqooloona sayughfaru lana wa-in ya/tihimAAaradun mithluhu ya/khuthoohu alam yu/khathAAalayhim meethaqu alkitabi an la yaqoolooAAala Allahi illa alhaqqa wadarasoo mafeehi waalddaru al-akhiratu khayrun lillatheenayattaqoona afala taAAqiloona | فخلف من بعدهم خلف ورثوا الكتاب يأخذون عرض هذا الأدنى ويقولون سيغفر لنا وإن يأتهم عرض مثله يأخذوه ألم يؤخذ عليهم ميثاق الكتاب أن لا يقولوا على الله إلا الحق ودرسوا ما فيه والدار الآخرة خير للذين يتقون أفلا تعقلون فَخَلَفَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ وَرِثُواْ الْكِتَابَ يَأْخُذُونَ عَرَضَ هَـذَا الْأَدْنَى وَيَقُولُونَ سَيُغْفَرُ لَنَا وَإِن يَأْتِهِمْ عَرَضٌ مِّثْلُهُ يَأْخُذُوهُ أَلَمْ يُؤْخَذْ عَلَيْهِم مِّيثَاقُ الْكِتَابِ أَن لاَّ يِقُولُواْ عَلَى اللّهِ إِلاَّ الْحَقَّ وَدَرَسُواْ مَا فِيهِ وَالدَّارُ الْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فخلف - Then succeeded| من - from| بعدهم - after them| خلف - successors| ورثوا - (who) inherited| الكتاب - the Book| يأخذون - taking| عرض - goods| هذا - (of) this| الأدنى - the lower (life)| ويقولون - and they say,| سيغفر - "It will be forgiven| لنا - for us."| وإن - And if| يأتهم - comes to them| عرض - goods| مثله - similar to it| يأخذوه - they will take it.| ألم - Was not| يؤخذ - taken| عليهم - on them| ميثاق - Covenant| الكتاب - (of) the Book| أن - that| لا - not| يقولوا - they will say| على - about| الله - Allah| إلا - except| الحق - the truth| ودرسوا - while they studied| ما - what| فيه - (is) in it?| والدار - And the home| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter| خير - (is) better| للذين - for those who| يتقون - fear Allah.| أفلا - So will not| تعقلون - you use intellect?| | ||||||
| 8 [9:61] | Waminhumu allatheena yu/thoonaalnnabiyya wayaqooloona huwa othunun qul othunukhayrin lakum yu/minu biAllahi wayu/minulilmu/mineena warahmatun lillatheena amanoominkum waallatheena yu/thoona rasoola Allahilahum AAathabun aleemun | ومنهم الذين يؤذون النبي ويقولون هو أذن قل أذن خير لكم يؤمن بالله ويؤمن للمؤمنين ورحمة للذين آمنوا منكم والذين يؤذون رسول الله لهم عذاب أليم وَمِنْهُمُ الَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ النَّبِيَّ وَيَقُولُونَ هُوَ أُذُنٌ قُلْ أُذُنُ خَيْرٍ لَّكُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّهِ وَيُؤْمِنُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مِنكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ رَسُولَ اللّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ومنهم - And among them| الذين - (are) those who| يؤذون - hurt| النبي - the Prophet| ويقولون - and they say,| هو - "He is| أذن - (all) ear."| قل - Say,| أذن - "An ear| خير - (of) goodness| لكم - for you,| يؤمن - he believes| بالله - in Allah,| ويؤمن - and believes| للمؤمنين - the believers,| ورحمة - and (is) a mercy| للذين - to those who| آمنوا - believe| منكم - among you."| والذين - And those who| يؤذون - hurt| رسول - (the) Messenger| الله - (of) Allah,| لهم - for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful.| | ||||||
| 9 [10:18] | WayaAAbudoona min dooni Allahi mala yadurruhum wala yanfaAAuhum wayaqooloonahaola-i shufaAAaona AAinda Allahiqul atunabbi-oona Allaha bima la yaAAlamufee alssamawati wala fee al-ardisubhanahu wataAAala AAamma yushrikoona | ويعبدون من دون الله ما لا يضرهم ولا ينفعهم ويقولون هؤلاء شفعاؤنا عند الله قل أتنبئون الله بما لا يعلم في السماوات ولا في الأرض سبحانه وتعالى عما يشركون وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ مَا لاَ يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلاَ يَنفَعُهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ هَـؤُلاَءِ شُفَعَاؤُنَا عِندَ اللّهِ قُلْ أَتُنَبِّئُونَ اللّهَ بِمَا لاَ يَعْلَمُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَلاَ فِي الْأَرْضِ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ويعبدون - And they worship| من - from| دون - other than| الله - Allah| ما - that (which)| لا - (does) not| يضرهم - harm them| ولا - and not| ينفعهم - benefit them,| ويقولون - and they say,| هؤلاء - "These| شفعاؤنا - (are) our intercessors| عند - with| الله - Allah."| قل - Say,| أتنبئون - "Do you inform| الله - Allah| بما - of what| لا - not| يعلم - he knows| في - in| السماوات - the heavens| ولا - and not| في - in| الأرض - the earth?"| سبحانه - Glorified is He| وتعالى - and Exalted| عما - above what| يشركون - they associate (with Him).| | ||||||
| 10 [10:20] | Wayaqooloona lawla onzila AAalayhi ayatunmin rabbihi faqul innama alghaybu lillahi faintathirooinnee maAAakum mina almuntathireena | ويقولون لولا أنزل عليه آية من ربه فقل إنما الغيب لله فانتظروا إني معكم من المنتظرين وَيَقُولُونَ لَوْلاَ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ فَقُلْ إِنَّمَا الْغَيْبُ لِلّهِ فَانْتَظِرُواْ إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ الْمُنتَظِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ويقولون - And they say,| لولا - "Why not| أنزل - is sent down| عليه - to him| آية - a Sign| من - from| ربه - his Lord?"| فقل - So say,| إنما - "Only| الغيب - the unseen| لله - (is) for Allah,| فانتظروا - so wait;| إني - indeed, I am| معكم - with you| من - among| المنتظرين - the ones who wait."| | ||||||
| 11 [10:48] | Wayaqooloona mata hathaalwaAAdu in kuntum sadiqeena | ويقولون متى هذا الوعد إن كنتم صادقين وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هَـذَا الْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ويقولون - And they say,| متى - "When| هذا - (will) this,| الوعد - the promise (be fulfilled),| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful?"| | ||||||
| 12 [17:51] | Aw khalqan mimma yakburu fee sudoorikumfasayaqooloona man yuAAeeduna quli allathee fatarakumawwala marratin fasayunghidoona ilayka ruoosahumwayaqooloona mata huwa qul AAasa an yakoona qareeban | أو خلقا مما يكبر في صدوركم فسيقولون من يعيدنا قل الذي فطركم أول مرة فسينغضون إليك رءوسهم ويقولون متى هو قل عسى أن يكون قريبا أَوْ خَلْقًا مِّمَّا يَكْبُرُ فِي صُدُورِكُمْ فَسَيَقُولُونَ مَن يُعِيدُنَا قُلِ الَّذِي فَطَرَكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ فَسَيُنْغِضُونَ إِلَيْكَ رُؤُوسَهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هُوَ قُلْ عَسَى أَن يَكُونَ قَرِيبًا | |||||
| Words | |أو - Or| خلقا - a creation| مما - of what| يكبر - (is) great| في - in| صدوركم - your breasts."| فسيقولون - Then they will say,| من - "Who| يعيدنا - will restore us?"| قل - Say,| الذي - "He Who| فطركم - created you| أول - (the) first| مرة - time."| فسينغضون - Then they will shake| إليك - at you| رءوسهم - their heads| ويقولون - and they say,| متى - "When (will)| هو - it (be)?"| قل - Say,| عسى - "Perhaps| أن - that| يكون - (it) will be| قريبا - soon."| | ||||||
| 13 [17:108] | Wayaqooloona subhana rabbinain kana waAAdu rabbina lamafAAoolan | ويقولون سبحان ربنا إن كان وعد ربنا لمفعولا وَيَقُولُونَ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا إِن كَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّنَا لَمَفْعُولاً | |||||
| Words | |ويقولون - And they say,| سبحان - "Glory be to| ربنا - our Lord!| إن - Indeed,| كان - is| وعد - (the) promise| ربنا - (of) our Lord| لمفعولا - surely fulfilled."| | ||||||
| 14 [18:22] | Sayaqooloona thalathatun rabiAAuhumkalbuhum wayaqooloona khamsatun sadisuhum kalbuhum rajmanbialghaybi wayaqooloona sabAAatun wathaminuhumkalbuhum qul rabbee aAAlamu biAAiddatihim ma yaAAlamuhumilla qaleelun fala tumari feehim illamiraan thahiran wala tastaftifeehim minhum ahadan | سيقولون ثلاثة رابعهم كلبهم ويقولون خمسة سادسهم كلبهم رجما بالغيب ويقولون سبعة وثامنهم كلبهم قل ربي أعلم بعدتهم ما يعلمهم إلا قليل فلا تمار فيهم إلا مراء ظاهرا ولا تستفت فيهم منهم أحدا سَيَقُولُونَ ثَلاَثَةٌ رَّابِعُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ خَمْسَةٌ سَادِسُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ رَجْمًا بِالْغَيْبِ وَيَقُولُونَ سَبْعَةٌ وَثَامِنُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ قُل رَّبِّي أَعْلَمُ بِعِدَّتِهِم مَّا يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلاَّ قَلِيلٌ فَلاَ تُمَارِ فِيهِمْ إِلاَّ مِرَاءً ظَاهِرًا وَلاَ تَسْتَفْتِ فِيهِم مِّنْهُمْ أَحَدًا | |||||
| Words | |سيقولون - They say,| ثلاثة - (they were) three,| رابعهم - the forth of them| كلبهم - their dog;| ويقولون - and they say| خمسة - (they were) five| سادسهم - the sixth of them| كلبهم - their dog -| رجما - guessing| بالغيب - about the unseen;| ويقولون - and they say,| سبعة - (they were) seven| وثامنهم - and the eight of them| كلبهم - their dog.| قل - Say,| ربي - "My Lord,| أعلم - knows best| بعدتهم - their number.| ما - None| يعلمهم - knows them| إلا - except| قليل - a few.| فلا - So (do) not| تمار - argue| فيهم - about them| إلا - except| مراء - (with) an argument| ظاهرا - obvious,| ولا - and (do) not| تستفت - inquire| فيهم - about them| منهم - among them| أحدا - (from) anyone."| | ||||||
| 15 [18:49] | WawudiAAa alkitabu fataraalmujrimeena mushfiqeena mimma feehi wayaqooloona yawaylatana ma lihatha alkitabi layughadiru sagheeratan wala kabeeratan illaahsaha wawajadoo ma AAamiloo hadiranwala yathlimu rabbuka ahadan | ووضع الكتاب فترى المجرمين مشفقين مما فيه ويقولون يا ويلتنا مال هذا الكتاب لا يغادر صغيرة ولا كبيرة إلا أحصاها ووجدوا ما عملوا حاضرا ولا يظلم ربك أحدا وَوُضِعَ الْكِتَابُ فَتَرَى الْمُجْرِمِينَ مُشْفِقِينَ مِمَّا فِيهِ وَيَقُولُونَ يَا وَيْلَتَنَا مَالِ هَذَا الْكِتَابِ لاَ يُغَادِرُ صَغِيرَةً وَلاَ كَبِيرَةً إِلاَّ أَحْصَاهَا وَوَجَدُوا مَا عَمِلُوا حَاضِرًا وَلاَ يَظْلِمُ رَبُّكَ أَحَدًا | |||||
| Words | |ووضع - And (will) be placed| الكتاب - the Book| فترى - and you will see| المجرمين - the criminals| مشفقين - fearful| مما - of what| فيه - (is) in it,| ويقولون - and they will say,| يا - O| ويلتنا - "Oh, woe to us!| مال - What (is) for| هذا - this| الكتاب - [the] Book,| لا - not| يغادر - leaves| صغيرة - a small| ولا - and not| كبيرة - a great| إلا - except| أحصاها - has enumerated it?"| ووجدوا - And they will find| ما - what| عملوا - they did| حاضرا - presented.| ولا - And not| يظلم - deals unjustly| ربك - your Lord| أحدا - (with) anyone.| | ||||||
| 16 [21:38] | Wayaqooloona mata hathaalwaAAdu in kuntum sadiqeena | ويقولون متى هذا الوعد إن كنتم صادقين وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هَذَا الْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||

| 17 [24:47] | Wayaqooloona amanna biAllahiwabialrrasooli waataAAna thumma yatawallafareequn minhum min baAAdi thalika wama ola-ikabialmu/mineena | ويقولون آمنا بالله وبالرسول وأطعنا ثم يتولى فريق منهم من بعد ذلك وما أولئك بالمؤمنين وَيَقُولُونَ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَبِالرَّسُولِ وَأَطَعْنَا ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّى فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُم مِّن بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ وَمَا أُوْلَئِكَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ويقولون - And they say,| آمنا - "We believe| بالله - in Allah| وبالرسول - and in the Messenger| وأطعنا - and we obey."| ثم - Then| يتولى - turns away| فريق - a party| منهم - of them| من - after| بعد - after| ذلك - that.| وما - And not| أولئك - those| بالمؤمنين - (are) believers.| | ||||||
| 18 [25:22] | Yawma yarawna almala-ikata labushra yawma-ithin lilmujrimeena wayaqooloona hijranmahjooran | يوم يرون الملائكة لا بشرى يومئذ للمجرمين ويقولون حجرا محجورا يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَا بُشْرَى يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُجْرِمِينَ وَيَقُولُونَ حِجْرًا مَّحْجُورًا | |||||
| Words | |يوم - (The) Day| يرون - they see| الملائكة - the Angels,| لا - no| بشرى - glad tidings| يومئذ - (will be) that Day| للمجرمين - for the criminals,| ويقولون - and they will say,| حجرا - "A partition| محجورا - forbidden."| | ||||||
