| 1 [2:70] | Qaloo odAAu lana rabbakayubayyin lana ma hiya inna albaqara tashabahaAAalayna wa-inna in shaa Allahulamuhtadoona |  قالوا ادع لنا ربك يبين لنا ما هي إن البقر تشابه علينا وإنا إن شاء الله لمهتدونقَالُواْ ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا هِيَ إِنَّ البَقَرَ تَشَابَهَ عَلَيْنَا وَإِنَّآ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَمُهْتَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| ادع - "Pray| لنا - for us| ربك - (to) your Lord| يبين - to make clear| لنا - to us| ما - what| هي - it (is).| إن - Indeed,| البقر - [the] cows| تشابه - look alike| علينا - to us.| وإنا - And indeed we,| إن - if| شاء - wills| الله - Allah,| لمهتدون - (will) surely be those who are guided."| | ||||||
| 2 [2:156] | Allatheena itha asabat-hummuseebatun qaloo inna lillahi wa-innailayhi rajiAAoona | الذين إذا أصابتهم مصيبة قالوا إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُواْ إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who,| إذا - when| أصابتهم - strikes them| مصيبة - a misfortune,| قالوا - they say,| إنا - "Indeed, we| لله - belong to Allah| وإنا - and indeed we| إليه - towards Him| راجعون - will return."| | ||||||
| 3 [5:22] | Qaloo ya moosa innafeeha qawman jabbareena wa-inna lannadkhulaha hatta yakhrujoo minhafa-in yakhrujoo minha fa-inna dakhiloona | قالوا يا موسى إن فيها قوما جبارين وإنا لن ندخلها حتى يخرجوا منها فإن يخرجوا منها فإنا داخلون قَالُوا يَا مُوسَى إِنَّ فِيهَا قَوْمًا جَبَّارِينَ وَإِنَّا لَن نَّدْخُلَهَا حَتَّى يَخْرُجُواْ مِنْهَا فَإِن يَخْرُجُواْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّا دَاخِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| موسى - "O Musa!| إن - Indeed,| فيها - in it| قوما - (are) people| جبارين - (of) tyrannical strength| وإنا - and indeed, we| لن - never| ندخلها - will enter it| حتى - until| يخرجوا - they leave| منها - from it,| فإن - and if| يخرجوا - they leave| منها - [from] it| فإنا - then certainly we (will)| داخلون - enter (it)."| | ||||||
| 4 [6:146] | WaAAala allatheena hadooharramna kulla thee thufurinwamina albaqari waalghanami harramnaAAalayhim shuhoomahuma illa ma hamalatthuhooruhuma awi alhawayaaw ma ikhtalata biAAathmin thalikajazaynahum bibaghyihim wa-inna lasadiqoona | وعلى الذين هادوا حرمنا كل ذي ظفر ومن البقر والغنم حرمنا عليهم شحومهما إلا ما حملت ظهورهما أو الحوايا أو ما اختلط بعظم ذلك جزيناهم ببغيهم وإنا لصادقون وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ هَادُواْ حَرَّمْنَا كُلَّ ذِي ظُفُرٍ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ وَالْغَنَمِ حَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ شُحُومَهُمَا إِلاَّ مَا حَمَلَتْ ظُهُورُهُمَا أَوِ الْحَوَايَا أَوْ مَا اخْتَلَطَ بِعَظْمٍ ذَلِكَ جَزَيْنَاهُم بِبَغْيِهِمْ وِإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وعلى - And to| الذين - those who| هادوا - are Jews| حرمنا - We forbade| كل - every| ذي - (animal) with| ظفر - claws,| ومن - and of| البقر - the cows| والغنم - and the sheep| حرمنا - We forbade| عليهم - to them| شحومهما - their fat| إلا - except| ما - what| حملت - carried| ظهورهما - their backs| أو - or| الحوايا - the entrails| أو - or| ما - what| اختلط - (is) joined| بعظم - with the bone.| ذلك - That| جزيناهم - (is) their recompense| ببغيهم - for their rebellion.| وإنا - And indeed, We| لصادقون - [surely] are truthful.| | ||||||
| 5 [7:66] | Qala almalao allatheenakafaroo min qawmihi inna lanaraka fee safahatinwa-inna lanathunnuka mina alkathibeena | قال الملأ الذين كفروا من قومه إنا لنراك في سفاهة وإنا لنظنك من الكاذبين قَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَوْمِهِ إِنَّا لَنَرَاكَ فِي سَفَاهَةٍ وَإِنَّا لَنَظُنُّكَ مِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - Said| الملأ - the chiefs| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieved| من - from| قومه - his people,| إنا - "Indeed, we| لنراك - surely, see you| في - in| سفاهة - foolishness| وإنا - and indeed, we| لنظنك - [we] think you| من - (are) of| الكاذبين - the liars."| | ||||||
| 6 [7:127] | Waqala almalao min qawmi firAAawnaatatharu moosa waqawmahu liyufsidoo fee al-ardiwayatharaka waalihataka qala sanuqattilu abnaahumwanastahyee nisaahum wa-inna fawqahum qahiroona | وقال الملأ من قوم فرعون أتذر موسى وقومه ليفسدوا في الأرض ويذرك وآلهتك قال سنقتل أبناءهم ونستحيي نساءهم وإنا فوقهم قاهرون وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ مِن قَوْمِ فِرْعَونَ أَتَذَرُ مُوسَى وَقَوْمَهُ لِيُفْسِدُواْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَيَذَرَكَ وَآلِهَتَكَ قَالَ سَنُقَتِّلُ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ وَنَسْتَحْيِـي نِسَاءَهُمْ وَإِنَّا فَوْقَهُمْ قَاهِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| الملأ - the chiefs| من - of| قوم - (the) people| فرعون - (of) Firaun,| أتذر - "Will you leave| موسى - Musa| وقومه - and his people| ليفسدوا - so that they cause corruption| في - in| الأرض - the earth| ويذرك - and forsake you| وآلهتك - and your gods?"| قال - He said,| سنقتل - "We will kill| أبناءهم - their sons| ونستحيي - and we will let live| نساءهم - their women,| وإنا - and indeed, we| فوقهم - over them| قاهرون - (are) subjugators."| | ||||||
| 7 [11:91] | Qaloo ya shuAAaybu manafqahu katheeran mimma taqoolu wa-inna lanarakafeena daAAeefan walawla rahtukalarajamnaka wama anta AAalayna biAAazeezin | قالوا يا شعيب ما نفقه كثيرا مما تقول وإنا لنراك فينا ضعيفا ولولا رهطك لرجمناك وما أنت علينا بعزيز قَالُواْ يَا شُعَيْبُ مَا نَفْقَهُ كَثِيرًا مِّمَّا تَقُولُ وَإِنَّا لَنَرَاكَ فِينَا ضَعِيفًا وَلَوْلاَ رَهْطُكَ لَرَجَمْنَاكَ وَمَا أَنتَ عَلَيْنَا بِعَزِيزٍ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| شعيب - "O Shuaib!| ما - Not| نفقه - we understand| كثيرا - much| مما - of what| تقول - you say,| وإنا - and indeed, we| لنراك - surely [we] see you| فينا - among us| ضعيفا - weak.| ولولا - And if not| رهطك - for your family| لرجمناك - surely we would have stoned you,| وما - and you are not| أنت - and you are not| علينا - against us| بعزيز - mighty."| | ||||||
| 8 [11:109] | Fala taku fee miryatin mimmayaAAbudu haola-i ma yaAAbudoona illakama yaAAbudu abaohum min qablu wa-innalamuwaffoohum naseebahum ghayra manqoosin | فلا تك في مرية مما يعبد هؤلاء ما يعبدون إلا كما يعبد آباؤهم من قبل وإنا لموفوهم نصيبهم غير منقوص فَلاَ تَكُ فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِّمَّا يَعْبُدُ هَـؤُلاَءِ مَا يَعْبُدُونَ إِلاَّ كَمَا يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُهُم مِّن قَبْلُ وَإِنَّا لَمُوَفُّوهُمْ نَصِيبَهُمْ غَيْرَ مَنقُوصٍ | |||||
| Words | |فلا - So (do) not| تك - be| في - in| مرية - doubt| مما - as to what| يعبد - worship| هؤلاء - these (polytheists).| ما - Not| يعبدون - they worship| إلا - except| كما - as what| يعبد - worshipped| آباؤهم - their forefathers| من - before.| قبل - before.| وإنا - And indeed, We| لموفوهم - will surely pay them in full| نصيبهم - their share| غير - without| منقوص - being diminished.| | ||||||
| 9 [12:11] | Qaloo ya abana malaka la ta/manna AAala yoosufa wa-innalahu lanasihoona | قالوا يا أبانا ما لك لا تأمنا على يوسف وإنا له لناصحون قَالُواْ يَا أَبَانَا مَا لَكَ لاَ تَأْمَنَّا عَلَى يُوسُفَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَنَاصِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| أبانا - "O our father!| ما - Why| لك - (do) you| لا - not| تأمنا - trust us| على - with| يوسف - Yusuf,| وإنا - while indeed, we| له - (are) for him| لناصحون - surely well-wishers?| | ||||||
| 10 [12:12] | Arsilhu maAAana ghadan yartaAAwayalAAab wa-inna lahu lahafithoona | أرسله معنا غدا يرتع ويلعب وإنا له لحافظون أَرْسِلْهُ مَعَنَا غَدًا يَرْتَعْ وَيَلْعَبْ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أرسله - Send him| معنا - with us| غدا - tomorrow,| يرتع - (to) enjoy| ويلعب - and play.| وإنا - And indeed, we| له - for him| لحافظون - (will) surely (be) guardians."| | ||||||
| 11 [12:61] | Qaloo sanurawidu AAanhu abahuwa-inna lafaAAiloona | قالوا سنراود عنه أباه وإنا لفاعلون قَالُواْ سَنُرَاوِدُ عَنْهُ أَبَاهُ وَإِنَّا لَفَاعِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| سنراود - "We will try to get permission| عنه - for him| أباه - (from) his father,| وإنا - and indeed we,| لفاعلون - surely will do."| | ||||||
| 12 [12:63] | Falamma rajaAAoo ila abeehim qalooya abana muniAAa minna alkaylufaarsil maAAana akhana naktal wa-innalahu lahafithoona | فلما رجعوا إلى أبيهم قالوا يا أبانا منع منا الكيل فأرسل معنا أخانا نكتل وإنا له لحافظون فَلَمَّا رَجَعُوا إِلَى أَبِيهِمْ قَالُواْ يَا أَبَانَا مُنِعَ مِنَّا الْكَيْلُ فَأَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا أَخَانَا نَكْتَلْ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| رجعوا - they returned| إلى - to| أبيهم - their father,| قالوا - they said,| يا - O| أبانا - "O our father!| منع - Has been denied| منا - to us| الكيل - the measure,| فأرسل - so send| معنا - with us| أخانا - our brother| نكتل - (that) we will get measure.| وإنا - And indeed, we| له - for him| لحافظون - (will) surely (be) guardians."| | ||||||
| 13 [12:82] | Wais-ali alqaryata allatee kunnafeeha waalAAeera allatee aqbalna feehawa-inna lasadiqoona | واسأل القرية التي كنا فيها والعير التي أقبلنا فيها وإنا لصادقون وَاسْأَلِ الْقَرْيَةَ الَّتِي كُنَّا فِيهَا وَالْعِيْرَ الَّتِي أَقْبَلْنَا فِيهَا وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واسأل - And ask| القرية - the town| التي - where| كنا - we were| فيها - [in it],| والعير - and the caravan| التي - which| أقبلنا - we returned| فيها - [in it].| وإنا - And indeed, we| لصادقون - surely (are) truthful.'"| | ||||||
| 14 [14:9] | Alam ya/tikum nabao allatheena minqablikum qawmi noohin waAAadin wathamooda waallatheenamin baAAdihim la yaAAlamuhum illa Allahu jaat-humrusuluhum bialbayyinati faraddoo aydiyahum fee afwahihimwaqaloo inna kafarna bima orsiltumbihi wa-inna lafee shakkin mimma tadAAoonanailayhi mureebun | ألم يأتكم نبأ الذين من قبلكم قوم نوح وعاد وثمود والذين من بعدهم لا يعلمهم إلا الله جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات فردوا أيديهم في أفواههم وقالوا إنا كفرنا بما أرسلتم به وإنا لفي شك مما تدعوننا إليه مريب أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَالَّذِينَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلاَّ اللّهُ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَرَدُّواْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَقَالُواْ إِنَّا كَفَرْنَا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُم بِهِ وَإِنَّا لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَنَا إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Has not| يأتكم - come to you| نبأ - (the) news| الذين - (of) those who| من - (were) before you,| قبلكم - (were) before you,| قوم - the people| نوح - of Nuh,| وعاد - and Aad| وثمود - and Thamud| والذين - and those who| من - (were) after them?| بعدهم - (were) after them?| لا - None| يعلمهم - knows them| إلا - except| الله - Allah.| جاءتهم - Came to them| رسلهم - their Messengers| بالبينات - with clear proofs| فردوا - but they returned| أيديهم - their hands| في - in| أفواههم - their mouths| وقالوا - and they said,| إنا - "Indeed we| كفرنا - [we] disbelieve| بما - in what| أرسلتم - you have been sent| به - with [it],| وإنا - and indeed, we| لفي - (are) surely in| شك - doubt| مما - about what| تدعوننا - you invite us| إليه - to it| مريب - suspicious."| | ||||||
| 15 [15:9] | Inna nahnu nazzalna alththikrawa-inna lahu lahafithoona | إنا نحن نزلنا الذكر وإنا له لحافظون إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنا - Indeed, We| نحن - We| نزلنا - have sent down| الذكر - the Reminder,| وإنا - and indeed, We| له - of it| لحافظون - (are) surely Guardians.| | ||||||
| 16 [15:23] | Wa-inna lanahnu nuhyeewanumeetu wanahnu alwarithoona | وإنا لنحن نحيي ونميت ونحن الوارثون وَإنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ الْوَارِثُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإنا - And indeed, We,| لنحن - surely [We]| نحيي - We give life| ونميت - and We cause death,| ونحن - and We| الوارثون - (are) the Inheritors.| | ||||||
| 17 [15:64] | Waataynaka bialhaqqiwa-inna lasadiqoona | وأتيناك بالحق وإنا لصادقون وَأَتَيْنَاكَ بَالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأتيناك - And we have come to you| بالحق - with the truth,| وإنا - and indeed, we| لصادقون - surely (are) truthful.| | ||||||
| 18 [18:8] | Wa-inna lajaAAiloona maAAalayha saAAeedan juruzan | وإنا لجاعلون ما عليها صعيدا جرزا وَإِنَّا لَجَاعِلُونَ مَا عَلَيْهَا صَعِيدًا جُرُزًا | |||||
| Words | |وإنا - And indeed, We| لجاعلون - (will) surely make| ما - what| عليها - (is) on it| صعيدا - soil| جرزا - barren.| | ||||||
| 19 [21:94] | Faman yaAAmal mina alssalihatiwahuwa mu/minun fala kufrana lisaAAyihi wa-innalahu katiboona | فمن يعمل من الصالحات وهو مؤمن فلا كفران لسعيه وإنا له كاتبون فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِنَ الصَّالِحَاتِ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَا كُفْرَانَ لِسَعْيِهِ وَإِنَّا لَهُ كَاتِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فمن - Then whoever| يعمل - does| من - [of]| الصالحات - [the] righteous deeds| وهو - while he| مؤمن - (is) a believer| فلا - then not| كفران - (will be) rejected| لسعيه - [of] his effort.| وإنا - And indeed, We| له - of it| كاتبون - (are) Recorders.| | ||||||
| 20 [23:18] | Waanzalna mina alssama-imaan biqadarin faaskannahu fee al-ardiwa-inna AAala thahabin bihi laqadiroona | وأنزلنا من السماء ماء بقدر فأسكناه في الأرض وإنا على ذهاب به لقادرون وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً بِقَدَرٍ فَأَسْكَنَّاهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَإِنَّا عَلَى ذَهَابٍ بِهِ لَقَادِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأنزلنا - And We send down| من - from| السماء - the sky| ماء - water,| بقدر - in (due) measure| فأسكناه - then We cause it to settle| في - in| الأرض - the earth.| وإنا - And indeed, We,| على - on| ذهاب - taking it away,| به - taking it away,| لقادرون - surely (are) Able.| | ||||||
