| 1 [4:36] | WaoAAbudoo Allaha walatushrikoo bihi shay-an wabialwalidayni ihsananwabithee alqurba waalyatama waalmasakeeniwaaljari thee alqurba waaljarialjunubi waalssahibi bialjanbi waibnialssabeeli wama malakat aymanukum inna Allahala yuhibbu man kana mukhtalan fakhooran |  واعبدوا الله ولا تشركوا به شيئا وبالوالدين إحسانا وبذي القربى واليتامى والمساكين والجار ذي القربى والجار الجنب والصاحب بالجنب وابن السبيل وما ملكت أيمانكم إن الله لا يحب من كان مختالا فخوراوَاعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ وَلاَ تُشْرِكُواْ بِهِ شَيْئًا وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَبِذِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَالْجَارِ ذِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْجَارِ الْجُنُبِ وَالصَّاحِبِ بِالْجَنْبِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالاً فَخُورًا | |||||
| Words | |واعبدوا - And worship| الله - Allah| ولا - And (do) not| تشركوا - associate| به - with Him| شيئا - anything,| وبالوالدين - and to the parents| إحسانا - (do) good,| وبذي - and with| القربى - the relatives,| واليتامى - and the orphans,| والمساكين - and the needy| والجار - and the neighbor| ذي - (who is)| القربى - near,| والجار - and the neighbor| الجنب - (who is) farther away,| والصاحب - and the companion| بالجنب - by your side| وابن - and the| السبيل - traveler| وما - and what| ملكت - possess[ed]| أيمانكم - your right hands.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يحب - love| من - (the one) who| كان - is| مختالا - [a] proud| فخورا - (and) [a] boastful.| | ||||||
| 2 [6:146] | WaAAala allatheena hadooharramna kulla thee thufurinwamina albaqari waalghanami harramnaAAalayhim shuhoomahuma illa ma hamalatthuhooruhuma awi alhawayaaw ma ikhtalata biAAathmin thalikajazaynahum bibaghyihim wa-inna lasadiqoona | وعلى الذين هادوا حرمنا كل ذي ظفر ومن البقر والغنم حرمنا عليهم شحومهما إلا ما حملت ظهورهما أو الحوايا أو ما اختلط بعظم ذلك جزيناهم ببغيهم وإنا لصادقون وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ هَادُواْ حَرَّمْنَا كُلَّ ذِي ظُفُرٍ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ وَالْغَنَمِ حَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ شُحُومَهُمَا إِلاَّ مَا حَمَلَتْ ظُهُورُهُمَا أَوِ الْحَوَايَا أَوْ مَا اخْتَلَطَ بِعَظْمٍ ذَلِكَ جَزَيْنَاهُم بِبَغْيِهِمْ وِإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وعلى - And to| الذين - those who| هادوا - are Jews| حرمنا - We forbade| كل - every| ذي - (animal) with| ظفر - claws,| ومن - and of| البقر - the cows| والغنم - and the sheep| حرمنا - We forbade| عليهم - to them| شحومهما - their fat| إلا - except| ما - what| حملت - carried| ظهورهما - their backs| أو - or| الحوايا - the entrails| أو - or| ما - what| اختلط - (is) joined| بعظم - with the bone.| ذلك - That| جزيناهم - (is) their recompense| ببغيهم - for their rebellion.| وإنا - And indeed, We| لصادقون - [surely] are truthful.| | ||||||
| 3 [11:3] | Waani istaghfiroo rabbakum thumma toobooilayhi yumattiAAkum mataAAan hasanan ilaajalin musamman wayu/ti kulla thee fadlin fadlahuwa-in tawallaw fa-inee akhafu AAalaykum AAathabayawmin kabeerin | وأن استغفروا ربكم ثم توبوا إليه يمتعكم متاعا حسنا إلى أجل مسمى ويؤت كل ذي فضل فضله وإن تولوا فإني أخاف عليكم عذاب يوم كبير وَأَنِ اسْتَغْفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوبُواْ إِلَيْهِ يُمَتِّعْكُم مَّتَاعًا حَسَنًا إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى وَيُؤْتِ كُلَّ ذِي فَضْلٍ فَضْلَهُ وَإِن تَوَلَّوْاْ فَإِنِّيَ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ كَبِيرٍ | |||||
| Words | |وأن - And that| استغفروا - "Seek forgiveness| ربكم - (of) your Lord| ثم - and| توبوا - turn in repentance| إليه - to Him,| يمتعكم - He will let you| متاعا - enjoy| حسنا - a good| إلى - for| أجل - a term| مسمى - appointed.| ويؤت - And give| كل - (to) every| ذي - owner| فضل - (of) grace| فضله - His Grace.| وإن - But if| تولوا - you turn away| فإني - then indeed, I| أخاف - fear| عليكم - for you| عذاب - (the) punishment| يوم - (of) a Great Day.| كبير - (of) a Great Day.| | ||||||
| 4 [12:76] | Fabadaa bi-awAAiyatihim qabla wiAAa-iakheehi thumma istakhrajaha min wiAAa-i akheehi kathalikakidna liyoosufa ma kana liya/khuthaakhahu fee deeni almaliki illa an yashaa AllahunarfaAAu darajatin man nashao wafawqa kulli theeAAilmin AAaleemun | فبدأ بأوعيتهم قبل وعاء أخيه ثم استخرجها من وعاء أخيه كذلك كدنا ليوسف ما كان ليأخذ أخاه في دين الملك إلا أن يشاء الله نرفع درجات من نشاء وفوق كل ذي علم عليم فَبَدَأَ بِأَوْعِيَتِهِمْ قَبْلَ وِعَاءِ أَخِيهِ ثُمَّ اسْتَخْرَجَهَا مِن وِعَاءِ أَخِيهِ كَذَلِكَ كِدْنَا لِيُوسُفَ مَا كَانَ لِيَأْخُذَ أَخَاهُ فِي دِينِ الْمَلِكِ إِلاَّ أَن يَشَاءَ اللّهُ نَرْفَعُ دَرَجَاتٍ مِّن نَّشَاءُ وَفَوْقَ كُلِّ ذِي عِلْمٍ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |فبدأ - So he began| بأوعيتهم - with their bags| قبل - before| وعاء - (the) bag| أخيه - (of) his brother;| ثم - then| استخرجها - he brought it out| من - from| وعاء - (the) bag| أخيه - (of) his brother.| كذلك - Thus| كدنا - (did) We plan| ليوسف - for Yusuf.| ما - He could not| كان - He could not| ليأخذ - take| أخاه - his brother| في - by| دين - the law| الملك - (of) the king,| إلا - except| أن - that| يشاء - Allah willed.| الله - Allah willed.| نرفع - We raise| درجات - (in) degrees| من - whom| نشاء - We will,| وفوق - but over| كل - every| ذي - possessor| علم - (of) knowledge| عليم - (is) the All-Knower.| | ||||||
| 5 [14:37] | Rabbana innee askantu min thurriyyateebiwadin ghayri thee zarAAin AAinda baytika almuharramirabbana liyuqeemoo alssalata faijAAalaf-idatan mina alnnasi tahwee ilayhim waorzuqhummina alththamarati laAAallahum yashkuroona | ربنا إني أسكنت من ذريتي بواد غير ذي زرع عند بيتك المحرم ربنا ليقيموا الصلاة فاجعل أفئدة من الناس تهوي إليهم وارزقهم من الثمرات لعلهم يشكرون رَّبَّنَا إِنِّي أَسْكَنتُ مِن ذُرِّيَّتِي بِوَادٍ غَيْرِ ذِي زَرْعٍ عِندَ بَيْتِكَ الْمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُواْ الصَّلاَةَ فَاجْعَلْ أَفْئِدَةً مِّنَ النَّاسِ تَهْوِي إِلَيْهِمْ وَارْزُقْهُم مِّنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ربنا - Our Lord!| إني - Indeed, I| أسكنت - [I] have settled| من - (some) of| ذريتي - my offsprings| بواد - in a valley| غير - not| ذي - with| زرع - cultivation| عند - near| بيتك - Your Sacred House,| المحرم - Your Sacred House,| ربنا - our Lord!| ليقيموا - That they may establish| الصلاة - the prayers.| فاجعل - So make| أفئدة - hearts| من - of| الناس - the men| تهوي - incline| إليهم - towards them,| وارزقهم - and provide them| من - with| الثمرات - the fruits| لعلهم - so that they may| يشكرون - be grateful.| | ||||||
| 6 [16:90] | Inna Allaha ya/muru bialAAadliwaal-ihsani wa-eeta-i theealqurba wayanha AAani alfahsha-i waalmunkariwaalbaghyi yaAAithukum laAAallakum tathakkaroona | إن الله يأمر بالعدل والإحسان وإيتاء ذي القربى وينهى عن الفحشاء والمنكر والبغي يعظكم لعلكم تذكرون إِنَّ اللّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ وَإِيتَاءِ ذِي الْقُرْبَى وَيَنْهَى عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنكَرِ وَالْبَغْيِ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| يأمر - commands| بالعدل - justice| والإحسان - and the good,| وإيتاء - and giving| ذي - (to) relatives,| القربى - (to) relatives,| وينهى - and forbids| عن - [from]| الفحشاء - the immorality| والمنكر - and the bad| والبغي - and the oppression.| يعظكم - He admonishes you| لعلكم - so that you may| تذكرون - take heed.| | ||||||
| 7 [17:42] | Qul law kana maAAahu alihatunkama yaqooloona ithan laibtaghaw ila theealAAarshi sabeelan | قل لو كان معه آلهة كما يقولون إذا لابتغوا إلى ذي العرش سبيلا قُل لَّوْ كَانَ مَعَهُ آلِهَةٌ كَمَا يَقُولُونَ إِذًا لاَّبْتَغَوْاْ إِلَى ذِي الْعَرْشِ سَبِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| لو - "If| كان - (there) were| معه - with Him| آلهة - gods| كما - as| يقولون - they say,| إذا - then| لابتغوا - surely they (would) have sought| إلى - to| ذي - (the) Owner| العرش - (of) the Throne| سبيلا - a way."| | ||||||
| 8 [18:83] | Wayas-aloonaka AAan thee alqarnayniqul saatloo AAalaykum minhu thikran | ويسألونك عن ذي القرنين قل سأتلو عليكم منه ذكرا وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَن ذِي الْقَرْنَيْنِ قُلْ سَأَتْلُواْ عَلَيْكُم مِّنْهُ ذِكْرًا | |||||
| Words | |ويسألونك - And they ask you| عن - about| ذي - Dhul-qarnain.| القرنين - Dhul-qarnain.| قل - Say,| سأتلو - "I will recite| عليكم - to you| منه - about him| ذكرا - a remembrance."| | ||||||

| 12 [40:3] | Ghafiri alththanbi waqabilialttawbi shadeedi alAAiqabi thee alttawlila ilaha illa huwa ilayhi almaseeru | غافر الذنب وقابل التوب شديد العقاب ذي الطول لا إله إلا هو إليه المصير غَافِرِ الذَّنبِ وَقَابِلِ التَّوْبِ شَدِيدِ الْعِقَابِ ذِي الطَّوْلِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ إِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
