| 1 [6:134] | Inna ma tooAAadoona laatinwama antum bimuAAjizeena |  إن ما توعدون لآت وما أنتم بمعجزينإِنَّ مَا تُوعَدُونَ لَآتٍ وَمَا أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| ما - what| توعدون - you are promised| لآت - (is) sure to come.| وما - And not| أنتم - (can) you| بمعجزين - escape (it).| | ||||||
| 2 [7:86] | Wala taqAAudoo bikulli siratintooAAidoona watasuddoona AAan sabeeli Allahi man amanabihi watabghoonaha AAiwajan waothkuroo ithkuntum qaleelan fakaththarakum waonthurookayfa kana AAaqibatu almufsideena | ولا تقعدوا بكل صراط توعدون وتصدون عن سبيل الله من آمن به وتبغونها عوجا واذكروا إذ كنتم قليلا فكثركم وانظروا كيف كان عاقبة المفسدين وَلاَ تَقْعُدُواْ بِكُلِّ صِرَاطٍ تُوعِدُونَ وَتَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِهِ وَتَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا وَاذْكُرُواْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ قَلِيلاً فَكَثَّرَكُمْ وَانظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُفْسِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تقعدوا - sit| بكل - on every| صراط - path| توعدون - threatening| وتصدون - and hindering| عن - from| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| من - (those) who| آمن - believe| به - in Him,| وتبغونها - and seeking (to make) it| عوجا - crooked.| واذكروا - And remember| إذ - when| كنتم - you were| قليلا - few| فكثركم - and He increased you.| وانظروا - And see| كيف - how| كان - was| عاقبة - (the) end| المفسدين - (of) the corrupters.| | ||||||
| 3 [21:103] | La yahzunuhumu alfazaAAual-akbaru watatalaqqahumu almala-ikatu hathayawmukumu allathee kuntum tooAAadoona | لا يحزنهم الفزع الأكبر وتتلقاهم الملائكة هذا يومكم الذي كنتم توعدون لَا يَحْزُنُهُمُ الْفَزَعُ الْأَكْبَرُ وَتَتَلَقَّاهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ هَذَا يَوْمُكُمُ الَّذِي كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لا - Not| يحزنهم - will grieve them| الفزع - the terror| الأكبر - [the] greatest,| وتتلقاهم - and will meet them| الملائكة - the Angels,| هذا - "This| يومكم - (is) your Day| الذي - which| كنتم - you were| توعدون - promised."| | ||||||
| 4 [21:109] | Fa-in tawallaw faqul athantukum AAalasawa-in wa-in adree aqareebun am baAAeedun matooAAadoona | فإن تولوا فقل آذنتكم على سواء وإن أدري أقريب أم بعيد ما توعدون فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا فَقُلْ آذَنتُكُمْ عَلَى سَوَاءٍ وَإِنْ أَدْرِي أَقَرِيبٌ أَم بَعِيدٌ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فإن - But if| تولوا - they turn away| فقل - then say,| آذنتكم - "I (have) announced to you| على - equally| سواء - equally| وإن - And not| أدري - I know| أقريب - whether is near| أم - or| بعيد - far| ما - what| توعدون - you are promised.| | ||||||

| 8 [41:30] | Inna allatheena qaloo rabbunaAllahu thumma istaqamoo tatanazzalu AAalayhimualmala-ikatu alla takhafoo wala tahzanoowaabshiroo bialjannati allatee kuntum tooAAadoona | إن الذين قالوا ربنا الله ثم استقاموا تتنزل عليهم الملائكة ألا تخافوا ولا تحزنوا وأبشروا بالجنة التي كنتم توعدون إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| قالوا - say,| ربنا - "Our Lord,| الله - (is) Allah,"| ثم - then| استقاموا - stand firm -| تتنزل - will descend| عليهم - on them| الملائكة - the Angels,| ألا - "(Do) not| تخافوا - fear,| ولا - and (do) not| تحزنوا - grieve| وأبشروا - but receive the glad tidings| بالجنة - of Paradise| التي - which| كنتم - you were| توعدون - promised.| | ||||||

| 12 [72:25] | Qul in adree aqareebun ma tooAAadoonaam yajAAalu lahu rabbee amadan | قل إن أدري أقريب ما توعدون أم يجعل له ربي أمدا قُلْ إِنْ أَدْرِي أَقَرِيبٌ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ أَمْ يَجْعَلُ لَهُ رَبِّي أَمَدًا | |||||
