| 1 [2:249] | Falamma fasala talootubialjunoodi qala inna Allaha mubtaleekumbinaharin faman shariba minhu falaysa minnee waman lam yatAAamhufa-innahu minnee illa mani ightarafa ghurfatan biyadihifashariboo minhu illa qaleelan minhum falamma jawazahuhuwa waallatheena amanoo maAAahu qaloola taqata lana alyawma bijalootawajunoodihi qala allatheena yathunnoonaannahum mulaqoo Allahi kam min fi-atin qaleelatinghalabat fi-atan katheeratan bi-ithni Allahi waAllahumaAAa alssabireena |  فلما فصل طالوت بالجنود قال إن الله مبتليكم بنهر فمن شرب منه فليس مني ومن لم يطعمه فإنه مني إلا من اغترف غرفة بيده فشربوا منه إلا قليلا منهم فلما جاوزه هو والذين آمنوا معه قالوا لا طاقة لنا اليوم بجالوت وجنوده قال الذين يظنون أنهم ملاقو الله كم من فئة قليلة غلبت فئة كثيرة بإذن الله والله مع الصابرينفَلَمَّا فَصَلَ طَالُوتُ بِالْجُنُودِ قَالَ إِنَّ اللّهَ مُبْتَلِيكُم بِنَهَرٍ فَمَن شَرِبَ مِنْهُ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَمَن لَّمْ يَطْعَمْهُ فَإِنَّهُ مِنِّي إِلاَّ مَنِ اغْتَرَفَ غُرْفَةً بِيَدِهِ فَشَرِبُواْ مِنْهُ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً مِّنْهُمْ فَلَمَّا جَاوَزَهُ هُوَ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مَعَهُ قَالُواْ لاَ طَاقَةَ لَنَا الْيَوْمَ بِجَالُوتَ وَجُنُودِهِ قَالَ الَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُم مُّلاَقُو اللّهِ كَم مِّن فِئَةٍ قَلِيلَةٍ غَلَبَتْ فِئَةً كَثِيرَةً بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - Then when| فصل - set out| طالوت - Talut| بالجنود - with the forces| قال - he said,| إن - "Indeed,| الله - Allah| مبتليكم - will test you| بنهر - with a river.| فمن - So whoever| شرب - drinks| منه - from it| فليس - then he is not| مني - from me,| ومن - and whoever| لم - (does) not| يطعمه - taste it| فإنه - then indeed, he| مني - (is) from me| إلا - except| من - whoever| اغترف - takes| غرفة - (in the) hollow| بيده - (of) his hand."| فشربوا - Then they drank| منه - from it| إلا - except| قليلا - a few| منهم - of them.| فلما - Then when| جاوزه - he crossed it,| هو - he| والذين - and those who| آمنوا - believed| معه - with him,| قالوا - they said,| لا - "No| طاقة - strength| لنا - for us| اليوم - today| بجالوت - against Jalut| وجنوده - and his troops."| قال - Said| الذين - those who| يظنون - were certain| أنهم - that they| ملاقو - (would) meet| الله - Allah,| كم - "How many| من - of| فئة - a company| قليلة - small| غلبت - overcame| فئة - a company| كثيرة - large| بإذن - by (the) permission| الله - (of) Allah.| والله - And Allah| مع - (is) with| الصابرين - the patient ones."| | ||||||
| 2 [5:3] | Hurrimat AAalaykumu almaytatu waalddamuwalahmu alkhinzeeri wama ohilla lighayri Allahibihi waalmunkhaniqatu waalmawqoothatu waalmutaraddiyatuwaalnnateehatu wama akala alssabuAAuilla ma thakkaytum wama thubihaAAala alnnusubi waan tastaqsimoo bial-azlamithalikum fisqun alyawma ya-isa allatheena kafaroomin deenikum fala takhshawhum waikhshawni alyawmaakmaltu lakum deenakum waatmamtu AAalaykum niAAmatee waradeetulakumu al-islama deenan famani idturra fee makhmasatinghayra mutajanifin li-ithmin fa-inna Allahaghafoorun raheemun | حرمت عليكم الميتة والدم ولحم الخنزير وما أهل لغير الله به والمنخنقة والموقوذة والمتردية والنطيحة وما أكل السبع إلا ما ذكيتم وما ذبح على النصب وأن تستقسموا بالأزلام ذلكم فسق اليوم يئس الذين كفروا من دينكم فلا تخشوهم واخشون اليوم أكملت لكم دينكم وأتممت عليكم نعمتي ورضيت لكم الإسلام دينا فمن اضطر في مخمصة غير متجانف لإثم فإن الله غفور رحيم حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةُ وَالْدَّمُ وَلَحْمُ الْخِنْزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللّهِ بِهِ وَالْمُنْخَنِقَةُ وَالْمَوْقُوذَةُ وَالْمُتَرَدِّيَةُ وَالنَّطِيحَةُ وَمَا أَكَلَ السَّبُعُ إِلاَّ مَا ذَكَّيْتُمْ وَمَا ذُبِحَ عَلَى النُّصُبِ وَأَن تَسْتَقْسِمُواْ بِالْأَزْلاَمِ ذَلِكُمْ فِسْقٌ الْيَوْمَ يَئِسَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن دِينِكُمْ فَلاَ تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَاخْشَوْنِ الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الْإِسْلاَمَ دِينًا فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ فِي مَخْمَصَةٍ غَيْرَ مُتَجَانِفٍ لِّإِثْمٍ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |حرمت - Are made unlawful| عليكم - on you| الميتة - the dead animals,| والدم - and the blood,| ولحم - and flesh| الخنزير - (of) the swine,| وما - and what| أهل - has been dedicated| لغير - to other than| الله - Allah,| به - [on it],| والمنخنقة - and that which is strangled (to death),| والموقوذة - and that which is hit fatally,| والمتردية - and that which has a fatal fall,| والنطيحة - and that which is gored by horns,| وما - and that which| أكل - ate (it)| السبع - the wild animal| إلا - except| ما - what| ذكيتم - you slaughtered,| وما - and what| ذبح - is sacrificed| على - on| النصب - the stone altars,| وأن - and that| تستقسموا - you seek division| بالأزلام - by divining arrows -| ذلكم - that| فسق - (is) grave disobedience.| اليوم - This day| يئس - (have) despaired| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| من - of| دينكم - your religion,| فلا - so (do) not| تخشوهم - fear them,| واخشون - but fear Me.| اليوم - This day| أكملت - I have perfected| لكم - for you| دينكم - your religion| وأتممت - and I have completed| عليكم - upon you| نعمتي - My Favor| ورضيت - and I have approved| لكم - for you| الإسلام - [the] Islam| دينا - (as) a religion.| فمن - But whoever| اضطر - (is) forced| في - by| مخمصة - hunger| غير - (and) not| متجانف - inclining| لإثم - to sin,| فإن - then indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 3 [5:5] | Alyawma ohilla lakumu alttayyibatuwataAAamu allatheena ootoo alkitaba hillunlakum wataAAamukum hillun lahum waalmuhsanatumina almu/minati waalmuhsanatu minaallatheena ootoo alkitaba min qablikum itha ataytumoohunnaojoorahunna muhsineena ghayra musafiheenawala muttakhithee akhdanin waman yakfur bial-eemanifaqad habita AAamaluhu wahuwa fee al-akhiratimina alkhasireena | اليوم أحل لكم الطيبات وطعام الذين أوتوا الكتاب حل لكم وطعامكم حل لهم والمحصنات من المؤمنات والمحصنات من الذين أوتوا الكتاب من قبلكم إذا آتيتموهن أجورهن محصنين غير مسافحين ولا متخذي أخدان ومن يكفر بالإيمان فقد حبط عمله وهو في الآخرة من الخاسرين الْيَوْمَ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ وَطَعَامُ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ حِلٌّ لَّكُمْ وَطَعَامُكُمْ حِلٌّ لَّهُمْ وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ إِذَا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ مُحْصِنِينَ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحِينَ وَلاَ مُتَّخِذِي أَخْدَانٍ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِالْإِيمَانِ فَقَدْ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |اليوم - This day| أحل - are made lawful| لكم - for you| الطيبات - the good things;| وطعام - and (the) food| الذين - (of) those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Book| حل - (is) lawful| لكم - for you,| وطعامكم - and your food| حل - (is) lawful| لهم - for them.| والمحصنات - And the chaste women| من - from| المؤمنات - the believers| والمحصنات - and the chaste women| من - from| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Book| من - from| قبلكم - before you,| إذا - when| آتيتموهن - you have given them| أجورهن - their bridal due,| محصنين - being chaste| غير - not| مسافحين - being lewd| ولا - and not| متخذي - ones (who are) taking| أخدان - secret lovers.| ومن - And whoever| يكفر - denies| بالإيمان - the faith -| فقد - then surely| حبط - (are) wasted| عمله - his deeds| وهو - and he,| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter,| من - (will be) among| الخاسرين - the losers.| | ||||||
| 4 [6:93] | Waman athlamu mimmani iftaraAAala Allahi kathiban aw qala oohiyailayya walam yooha ilayhi shay-on waman qalasaonzilu mithla ma anzala Allahu walaw taraithi alththalimoona fee ghamaratialmawti waalmala-ikatu basitooaydeehim akhrijoo anfusakumu alyawma tujzawna AAathabaalhooni bima kuntum taqooloona AAala Allahighayra alhaqqi wakuntum AAan ayatihitastakbiroona | ومن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا أو قال أوحي إلي ولم يوح إليه شيء ومن قال سأنزل مثل ما أنزل الله ولو ترى إذ الظالمون في غمرات الموت والملائكة باسطو أيديهم أخرجوا أنفسكم اليوم تجزون عذاب الهون بما كنتم تقولون على الله غير الحق وكنتم عن آياته تستكبرون وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ قَالَ أُوْحِيَ إِلَيَّ وَلَمْ يُوحَ إِلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ وَمَن قَالَ سَأُنزِلُ مِثْلَ مَا أَنَزلَ اللّهُ وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذِ الظَّالِمُونَ فِي غَمَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ وَالْمَلَآئِكَةُ بَاسِطُواْ أَيْدِيهِمْ أَخْرِجُواْ أَنفُسَكُمُ الْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ الْهُونِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ وَكُنتُمْ عَنْ آيَاتِهِ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And who| أظلم - (is) more unjust| ممن - than (one) who| افترى - invents| على - about| الله - Allah| كذبا - a lie| أو - or| قال - said,| أوحي - "It has been inspired| إلي - to me"| ولم - while not| يوح - it was inspired| إليه - to him| شيء - anything,| ومن - and (one) who| قال - said,| سأنزل - "I will reveal| مثل - like| ما - what| أنزل - (has been) revealed| الله - (by) Allah."| ولو - And if| ترى - you (could) see| إذ - when| الظالمون - the wrongdoers| في - (are) in| غمرات - agonies| الموت - (of) [the] death| والملائكة - while the Angels| باسطو - (are) stretching out| أيديهم - their hands (saying),| أخرجوا - "Discharge| أنفسكم - your souls!| اليوم - Today| تجزون - you will be recompensed| عذاب - (with) punishment,| الهون - humiliating,| بما - because| كنتم - you used to| تقولون - say| على - against| الله - Allah| غير - other than| الحق - the truth| وكنتم - and you were| عن - towards| آياته - His Verses| تستكبرون - being arrogant."| | ||||||
| 5 [8:48] | Wa-ith zayyana lahumu alshshaytanuaAAmalahum waqala la ghaliba lakumualyawma mina alnnasi wa-innee jarun lakumfalamma taraati alfi-atani nakasaAAala AAaqibayhi waqala innee baree-on minkum inneeara ma la tarawna innee akhafu AllahawaAllahu shadeedu alAAiqabi | وإذ زين لهم الشيطان أعمالهم وقال لا غالب لكم اليوم من الناس وإني جار لكم فلما تراءت الفئتان نكص على عقبيه وقال إني بريء منكم إني أرى ما لا ترون إني أخاف الله والله شديد العقاب وَإِذْ زَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ وَقَالَ لاَ غَالِبَ لَكُمُ الْيَوْمَ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَإِنِّي جَارٌ لَّكُمْ فَلَمَّا تَرَاءَتِ الْفِئَتَانِ نَكَصَ عَلَى عَقِبَيْهِ وَقَالَ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِّنكُمْ إِنِّي أَرَى مَا لاَ تَرَوْنَ إِنِّيَ أَخَافُ اللّهَ وَاللّهُ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| زين - made fair-seeming| لهم - to them| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| أعمالهم - their deeds| وقال - and he said,| لا - "No (one)| غالب - (can) overcome| لكم - [to] you| اليوم - today| من - from| الناس - the people| وإني - and indeed, I am| جار - a neighbor| لكم - for you."| فلما - But when| تراءت - came in sight| الفئتان - the two forces| نكص - he turned away| على - on| عقبيه - his heels| وقال - and said,| إني - "Indeed, I am| بريء - free| منكم - of you.| إني - Indeed, I| أرى - see| ما - what| لا - not| ترون - you see,| إني - indeed, I| أخاف - [I] fear| الله - Allah.| والله - And Allah| شديد - (is) severe| العقاب - (in) the penalty."| | ||||||
| 6 [11:43] | Qala saawee ila jabalinyaAAsimunee mina alma-i qala la AAasimaalyawma min amri Allahi illa man rahima wahalabaynahuma almawju fakana mina almughraqeena | قال سآوي إلى جبل يعصمني من الماء قال لا عاصم اليوم من أمر الله إلا من رحم وحال بينهما الموج فكان من المغرقين قَالَ سَآوِي إِلَى جَبَلٍ يَعْصِمُنِي مِنَ الْمَاءِ قَالَ لاَ عَاصِمَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللّهِ إِلاَّ مَن رَّحِمَ وَحَالَ بَيْنَهُمَا الْمَوْجُ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْمُغْرَقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| سآوي - "I will betake myself| إلى - to| جبل - a mountain,| يعصمني - (that) will save me| من - from| الماء - the water."| قال - He said,| لا - "(There is) no| عاصم - protector| اليوم - today| من - from| أمر - the Command of Allah| الله - the Command of Allah| إلا - except,| من - (on) whom| رحم - He has mercy."| وحال - And came| بينهما - (in) between them| الموج - the waves,| فكان - so he was| من - among| المغرقين - the drowned.| | ||||||
| 7 [12:54] | Waqala almaliku i/toonee bihiastakhlishu linafsee falamma kallamahu qalainnaka alyawma ladayna makeenun ameenun | وقال الملك ائتوني به أستخلصه لنفسي فلما كلمه قال إنك اليوم لدينا مكين أمين وَقَالَ الْمَلِكُ ائْتُونِي بِهِ أَسْتَخْلِصْهُ لِنَفْسِي فَلَمَّا كَلَّمَهُ قَالَ إِنَّكَ الْيَوْمَ لَدَيْنَا مَكِينٌ أَمِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And said| الملك - the king,| ائتوني - "Bring him to me;| به - "Bring him to me;| أستخلصه - I will select him| لنفسي - for myself."| فلما - Then when| كلمه - he spoke to him,| قال - he said,| إنك - "Indeed, you| اليوم - (are) today| لدينا - with us| مكين - firmly established| أمين - (and) trusted."| | ||||||
| 8 [12:92] | Qala la tathreeba AAalaykumualyawma yaghfiru Allahu lakum wahuwa arhamu alrrahimeena | قال لا تثريب عليكم اليوم يغفر الله لكم وهو أرحم الراحمين قَالَ لاَ تَثْرِيبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ يَغْفِرُ اللّهُ لَكُمْ وَهُوَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| لا - "No| تثريب - blame| عليكم - upon you| اليوم - today.| يغفر - Allah will forgive| الله - Allah will forgive| لكم - you,| وهو - and He| أرحم - (is) the Most Merciful| الراحمين - (of) those who show mercy.| | ||||||
| 9 [16:27] | Thumma yawma alqiyamati yukhzeehimwayaqoolu ayna shuraka-iya allatheena kuntum tushaqqoonafeehim qala allatheena ootoo alAAilma inna alkhizyaalyawma waalssoo-a AAala alkafireena | ثم يوم القيامة يخزيهم ويقول أين شركائي الذين كنتم تشاقون فيهم قال الذين أوتوا العلم إن الخزي اليوم والسوء على الكافرين ثُمَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُخْزِيهِمْ وَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَآئِيَ الَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تُشَاقُّونَ فِيهِمْ قَالَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْعِلْمَ إِنَّ الْخِزْيَ الْيَوْمَ وَالْسُّوءَ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| يوم - (on) the Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection,| يخزيهم - He will disgrace them| ويقول - and say,| أين - "Where| شركائي - (are) My partners| الذين - those (for) whom| كنتم - you used (to)| تشاقون - oppose| فيهم - [in them]?"| قال - Will say| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| العلم - the knowledge,| إن - "Indeed,| الخزي - the disgrace,| اليوم - this Day| والسوء - and evil| على - (are) upon| الكافرين - the disbelievers"| | ||||||
| 10 [16:63] | TaAllahi laqad arsalnaila omamin min qablika fazayyana lahumu alshshaytanuaAAmalahum fahuwa waliyyuhumu alyawma walahum AAathabunaleemun | تالله لقد أرسلنا إلى أمم من قبلك فزين لهم الشيطان أعمالهم فهو وليهم اليوم ولهم عذاب أليم تَاللّهِ لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَى أُمَمٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |تالله - By Allah,| لقد - certainly| أرسلنا - We have sent| إلى - to| أمم - nations| من - before you| قبلك - before you| فزين - but made fair-seeming| لهم - to them| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| أعمالهم - their deeds.| فهو - So he| وليهم - (is) their ally| اليوم - today,| ولهم - and for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful.| | ||||||
| 11 [17:14] | Iqra/ kitabaka kafa binafsikaalyawma AAalayka haseeban | اقرأ كتابك كفى بنفسك اليوم عليك حسيبا اقْرَأْ كِتَابَكَ كَفَى بِنَفْسِكَ الْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكَ حَسِيبًا | |||||
| Words | |اقرأ - "Read| كتابك - your record.| كفى - Sufficient| بنفسك - (is) yourself| اليوم - today,| عليك - against you| حسيبا - (as) accountant."| | ||||||
| 12 [19:26] | Fakulee waishrabee waqarree AAaynanfa-imma tarayinna mina albashari ahadan faqooleeinnee nathartu lilrrahmani sawmanfalan okallima alyawma insiyyan | فكلي واشربي وقري عينا فإما ترين من البشر أحدا فقولي إني نذرت للرحمن صوما فلن أكلم اليوم إنسيا فَكُلِي وَاشْرَبِي وَقَرِّي عَيْنًا فَإِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ الْبَشَرِ أَحَدًا فَقُولِي إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لِلرَّحْمَنِ صَوْمًا فَلَنْ أُكَلِّمَ الْيَوْمَ إِنسِيًّا | |||||
| Words | |فكلي - So eat| واشربي - and drink| وقري - and cool| عينا - (your) eyes.| فإما - And if| ترين - you see| من - from| البشر - human being| أحدا - anyone| فقولي - then say,| إني - "Indeed, I| نذرت - [I] have vowed| للرحمن - to the Most Gracious| صوما - a fast,| فلن - so not| أكلم - I will speak| اليوم - today| إنسيا - (to any) human being."| | ||||||
| 13 [19:38] | AsmiAA bihim waabsir yawma ya/toonanalakini alththalimoona alyawmafee dalalin mubeenin | أسمع بهم وأبصر يوم يأتوننا لكن الظالمون اليوم في ضلال مبين أَسْمِعْ بِهِمْ وَأَبْصِرْ يَوْمَ يَأْتُونَنَا لَكِنِ الظَّالِمُونَ الْيَوْمَ فِي ضَلاَلٍ مُّبِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |أسمع - How they will hear!| بهم - How they will hear!| وأبصر - and how (they will) see!| يوم - (the) Day| يأتوننا - they will come to Us,| لكن - but| الظالمون - the wrongdoers| اليوم - today| في - (are) in| ضلال - error| مبين - clear.| | ||||||
| 14 [20:64] | FaajmiAAoo kaydakum thumma i/too saffanwaqad aflaha alyawma mani istaAAla | فأجمعوا كيدكم ثم ائتوا صفا وقد أفلح اليوم من استعلى فَأَجْمِعُوا كَيْدَكُمْ ثُمَّ ائْتُوا صَفًّا وَقَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْيَوْمَ مَنِ اسْتَعْلَى | |||||
| Words | |فأجمعوا - So put together| كيدكم - your plan| ثم - then| ائتوا - come| صفا - (in) a line.| وقد - And verily,| أفلح - (will be) successful| اليوم - today| من - who| استعلى - overcomes."| | ||||||
| 15 [20:126] | Qala kathalika atatka ayatunafanaseetaha wakathalika alyawma tunsa | قال كذلك أتتك آياتنا فنسيتها وكذلك اليوم تنسى قَالَ كَذَلِكَ أَتَتْكَ آيَاتُنَا فَنَسِيتَهَا وَكَذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ تُنسَى | |||||
