| 1 [2:41] | Waaminoo bima anzaltu musaddiqanlima maAAakum wala takoonoo awwala kafirinbihi wala tashtaroo bi-ayatee thamananqaleelan wa-iyyaya faittaqooni |  وآمنوا بما أنزلت مصدقا لما معكم ولا تكونوا أول كافر به ولا تشتروا بآياتي ثمنا قليلا وإياي فاتقونوَآمِنُواْ بِمَا أَنزَلْتُ مُصَدِّقاً لِّمَا مَعَكُمْ وَلاَ تَكُونُواْ أَوَّلَ كَافِرٍ بِهِ وَلاَ تَشْتَرُواْ بِآيَاتِي ثَمَناً قَلِيلاً وَّإِيَّايَ فَاتَّقُونِ | |||||

| 3 [6:14] | Qul aghayra Allahi attakhithuwaliyyan fatiri alssamawati waal-ardiwahuwa yutAAimu wala yutAAamu qul inneeomirtu an akoona awwala man aslama wala takoonanna minaalmushrikeena | قل أغير الله أتخذ وليا فاطر السماوات والأرض وهو يطعم ولا يطعم قل إني أمرت أن أكون أول من أسلم ولا تكونن من المشركين قُلْ أَغَيْرَ اللّهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيًّا فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ يُطْعِمُ وَلاَ يُطْعَمُ قُلْ إِنِّي أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَلاَ تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكَينَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| أغير - "Is it other than| الله - Allah| أتخذ - I (should) take| وليا - (as) a protector,| فاطر - Creator,| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| وهو - while (it is) He| يطعم - Who feeds| ولا - and not| يطعم - He is fed?"| قل - Say,| إني - "Indeed I| أمرت - [I] am commanded| أن - that| أكون - I be| أول - (the) first| من - who| أسلم - submits (to Allah)| ولا - and not| تكونن - be| من - of| المشركين - the polytheists."| | ||||||
| 4 [6:94] | Walaqad ji/tumoona furadakama khalaqnakum awwala marratin wataraktum makhawwalnakum waraa thuhoorikum wamanara maAAakum shufaAAaakumu allatheenazaAAamtum annahum feekum shurakao laqad taqattaAAabaynakum wadalla AAankum ma kuntum tazAAumoona | ولقد جئتمونا فرادى كما خلقناكم أول مرة وتركتم ما خولناكم وراء ظهوركم وما نرى معكم شفعاءكم الذين زعمتم أنهم فيكم شركاء لقد تقطع بينكم وضل عنكم ما كنتم تزعمون وَلَقَدْ جِئْتُمُونَا فُرَادَى كَمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَتَرَكْتُم مَّا خَوَّلْنَاكُمْ وَرَاءَ ظُهُورِكُمْ وَمَا نَرَى مَعَكُمْ شُفَعَاءَكُمُ الَّذِينَ زَعَمْتُمْ أَنَّهُمْ فِيكُمْ شُرَكَاءَ لَقَد تَّقَطَّعَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنكُم مَّا كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| جئتمونا - you have come to Us| فرادى - alone| كما - as| خلقناكم - We created you| أول - (the) first| مرة - time,| وتركتم - and you have left| ما - whatever| خولناكم - We bestowed (on) you| وراء - behind| ظهوركم - your backs.| وما - And not| نرى - We see| معكم - with you| شفعاءكم - your intercessors| الذين - those whom| زعمتم - you claimed| أنهم - that they (were)| فيكم - in your (matters)| شركاء - partners (with Allah).| لقد - Indeed,| تقطع - have been severed (bonds)| بينكم - between you| وضل - and is lost| عنكم - from you| ما - what| كنتم - you used to| تزعمون - claim."| | ||||||
| 5 [6:110] | Wanuqallibu af-idatahum waabsarahumkama lam yu/minoo bihi awwala marratin wanatharuhumfee tughyanihim yaAAmahoona | ونقلب أفئدتهم وأبصارهم كما لم يؤمنوا به أول مرة ونذرهم في طغيانهم يعمهون وَنُقَلِّبُ أَفْئِدَتَهُمْ وَأَبْصَارَهُمْ كَمَا لَمْ يُؤْمِنُواْ بِهِ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَنَذَرُهُمْ فِي طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ونقلب - And We will turn| أفئدتهم - their hearts| وأبصارهم - and their sights| كما - (just) as| لم - not| يؤمنوا - they believe| به - in it| أول - (the) first| مرة - time.| ونذرهم - And We will leave them| في - in| طغيانهم - their transgression| يعمهون - wandering blindly.| | ||||||
| 6 [6:163] | La shareeka lahu wabithalikaomirtu waana awwalu almuslimeena | لا شريك له وبذلك أمرت وأنا أول المسلمين لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَبِذَلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَاْ أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |لا - No| شريك - partners| له - for Him;| وبذلك - and with that| أمرت - I have been commanded.| وأنا - And I am| أول - (the) first| المسلمين - (of) the ones who surrender (to Him).| | ||||||
| 7 [7:143] | Walamma jaa moosalimeeqatina wakallamahu rabbuhu qala rabbiarinee anthur ilayka qala lan taraneewalakini onthur ila aljabali fa-iniistaqarra makanahu fasawfa taranee falammatajalla rabbuhu liljabali jaAAalahu dakkan wakharra moosasaAAiqan falamma afaqa qala subhanakatubtu ilayka waana awwalu almu/mineena | ولما جاء موسى لميقاتنا وكلمه ربه قال رب أرني أنظر إليك قال لن تراني ولكن انظر إلى الجبل فإن استقر مكانه فسوف تراني فلما تجلى ربه للجبل جعله دكا وخر موسى صعقا فلما أفاق قال سبحانك تبت إليك وأنا أول المؤمنين وَلَمَّا جَاءَ مُوسَى لِمِيقَاتِنَا وَكَلَّمَهُ رَبُّهُ قَالَ رَبِّ أَرِنِي أَنظُرْ إِلَيْكَ قَالَ لَن تَرَانِي وَلَـكِنِ انظُرْ إِلَى الْجَبَلِ فَإِنِ اسْتَقَرَّ مَكَانَهُ فَسَوْفَ تَرَانِي فَلَمَّا تَجَلَّى رَبُّهُ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُ دَكًّا وَخَرَّ مُوسَى صَعِقًا فَلَمَّا أَفَاقَ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَأَنَاْ أَوَّلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| جاء - came| موسى - Musa| لميقاتنا - to Our appointed place| وكلمه - and spoke to him| ربه - his Lord,| قال - he said,| رب - "O my Lord!| أرني - Show me| أنظر - (that) I may look| إليك - at You."| قال - He said,| لن - "Never| تراني - you (can) see Me,| ولكن - but| انظر - look| إلى - at| الجبل - the mountain| فإن - [then] if| استقر - it remains| مكانه - in its place| فسوف - then| تراني - you (will) see Me."| فلما - But when| تجلى - revealed (His) Glory| ربه - his Lord| للجبل - to the mountain,| جعله - He made it| دكا - crumbled to dust| وخر - and fell down| موسى - Musa| صعقا - unconscious.| فلما - And when| أفاق - he recovered| قال - he said,| سبحانك - "Glory be to You!| تبت - I turn (in repentance)| إليك - to you,| وأنا - and I am| أول - (the) first| المؤمنين - (of) the believers."| | ||||||
| 8 [9:13] | Ala tuqatiloona qawmannakathoo aymanahum wahammoo bi-ikhraji alrrasooliwahum badaookum awwala marratin atakhshawnahum faAllahuahaqqu an takhshawhu in kuntum mu/mineena | ألا تقاتلون قوما نكثوا أيمانهم وهموا بإخراج الرسول وهم بدءوكم أول مرة أتخشونهم فالله أحق أن تخشوه إن كنتم مؤمنين أَلاَ تُقَاتِلُونَ قَوْمًا نَّكَثُواْ أَيْمَانَهُمْ وَهَمُّواْ بِإِخْرَاجِ الرَّسُولِ وَهُم بَدَؤُوكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ أَتَخْشَوْنَهُمْ فَاللّهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخْشَوْهُ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ألا - Will not| تقاتلون - you fight| قوما - a people| نكثوا - who broke| أيمانهم - their oaths| وهموا - and determined| بإخراج - to drive out| الرسول - the Messenger| وهم - and they| بدءوكم - began (to attack) you| أول - first| مرة - time?| أتخشونهم - Do you fear them?| فالله - But Allah| أحق - (has) more right| أن - that| تخشوه - you should fear Him,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 9 [9:83] | Fa-in rajaAAaka Allahu ila ta-ifatinminhum faista/thanooka lilkhurooji faqul lantakhrujoo maAAiya abadan walan tuqatiloo maAAiya AAaduwwaninnakum radeetum bialquAAoodi awwala marratin faoqAAudoomaAAa alkhalifeena | فإن رجعك الله إلى طائفة منهم فاستأذنوك للخروج فقل لن تخرجوا معي أبدا ولن تقاتلوا معي عدوا إنكم رضيتم بالقعود أول مرة فاقعدوا مع الخالفين فَإِن رَّجَعَكَ اللّهُ إِلَى طَآئِفَةٍ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسْتَأْذَنُوكَ لِلْخُرُوجِ فَقُل لَّن تَخْرُجُواْ مَعِيَ أَبَدًا وَلَن تُقَاتِلُواْ مَعِيَ عَدُوًّا إِنَّكُمْ رَضِيتُم بِالْقُعُودِ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ فَاقْعُدُواْ مَعَ الْخَالِفِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فإن - Then if| رجعك - Allah returns you| الله - Allah returns you| إلى - to| طائفة - a group| منهم - of them,| فاستأذنوك - and they ask you permission| للخروج - to go out,| فقل - then say,| لن - "Never| تخرجوا - will you come out| معي - with me| أبدا - ever| ولن - and never| تقاتلوا - will you fight| معي - with me| عدوا - any enemy.| إنكم - Indeed, you| رضيتم - were satisfied| بالقعود - with sitting| أول - (the) first| مرة - time,| فاقعدوا - so sit| مع - with| الخالفين - those who stay behind."| | ||||||
| 10 [9:108] | La taqum feehi abadan lamasjidunossisa AAala alttaqwa min awwali yawmin ahaqquan taqooma feehi feehi rijalun yuhibboona an yatatahharoowaAllahu yuhibbu almuttahhireena | لا تقم فيه أبدا لمسجد أسس على التقوى من أول يوم أحق أن تقوم فيه فيه رجال يحبون أن يتطهروا والله يحب المطهرين لاَ تَقُمْ فِيهِ أَبَدًا لَّمَسْجِدٌ أُسِّسَ عَلَى التَّقْوَى مِنْ أَوَّلِ يَوْمٍ أَحَقُّ أَن تَقُومَ فِيهِ فِيهِ رِجَالٌ يُحِبُّونَ أَن يَتَطَهَّرُواْ وَاللّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُطَّهِّرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |لا - (Do) not| تقم - stand| فيه - in it| أبدا - ever.| لمسجد - A masjid| أسس - founded| على - on| التقوى - the righteousness| من - from| أول - (the) first| يوم - day| أحق - (is) more worthy| أن - that| تقوم - you stand| فيه - in it.| فيه - Within it| رجال - (are) men| يحبون - who love| أن - to| يتطهروا - purify themselves,| والله - and Allah| يحب - loves| المطهرين - the ones who purify themselves.| | ||||||
| 11 [17:7] | In ahsantum ahsantumli-anfusikum wa-in asa/tum falaha fa-itha jaawaAAdu al-akhirati liyasoo-oo wujoohakum waliyadkhulooalmasjida kama dakhaloohu awwala marratin waliyutabbiroo maAAalaw tatbeeran | إن أحسنتم أحسنتم لأنفسكم وإن أسأتم فلها فإذا جاء وعد الآخرة ليسوءوا وجوهكم وليدخلوا المسجد كما دخلوه أول مرة وليتبروا ما علوا تتبيرا إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ الْآخِرَةِ لِيَسُوؤُواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُواْ الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُواْ مَا عَلَوْاْ تَتْبِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |إن - If| أحسنتم - you do good,| أحسنتم - you do good| لأنفسكم - for yourselves;| وإن - and if| أسأتم - you do evil,| فلها - then it is for it.| فإذا - So when| جاء - came| وعد - promise| الآخرة - the last,| ليسوءوا - to sadden| وجوهكم - your faces| وليدخلوا - and to enter| المسجد - the Masjid| كما - just as| دخلوه - they (had) entered it| أول - first| مرة - time,| وليتبروا - and to destroy| ما - what| علوا - they had conquered| تتبيرا - (with) destruction.| | ||||||
| 12 [17:51] | Aw khalqan mimma yakburu fee sudoorikumfasayaqooloona man yuAAeeduna quli allathee fatarakumawwala marratin fasayunghidoona ilayka ruoosahumwayaqooloona mata huwa qul AAasa an yakoona qareeban | أو خلقا مما يكبر في صدوركم فسيقولون من يعيدنا قل الذي فطركم أول مرة فسينغضون إليك رءوسهم ويقولون متى هو قل عسى أن يكون قريبا أَوْ خَلْقًا مِّمَّا يَكْبُرُ فِي صُدُورِكُمْ فَسَيَقُولُونَ مَن يُعِيدُنَا قُلِ الَّذِي فَطَرَكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ فَسَيُنْغِضُونَ إِلَيْكَ رُؤُوسَهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هُوَ قُلْ عَسَى أَن يَكُونَ قَرِيبًا | |||||
| Words | |أو - Or| خلقا - a creation| مما - of what| يكبر - (is) great| في - in| صدوركم - your breasts."| فسيقولون - Then they will say,| من - "Who| يعيدنا - will restore us?"| قل - Say,| الذي - "He Who| فطركم - created you| أول - (the) first| مرة - time."| فسينغضون - Then they will shake| إليك - at you| رءوسهم - their heads| ويقولون - and they say,| متى - "When (will)| هو - it (be)?"| قل - Say,| عسى - "Perhaps| أن - that| يكون - (it) will be| قريبا - soon."| | ||||||
| 13 [18:48] | WaAAuridoo AAala rabbika saffanlaqad ji/tumoona kama khalaqnakum awwalamarratin bal zaAAamtum allan najAAala lakum mawAAidan | وعرضوا على ربك صفا لقد جئتمونا كما خلقناكم أول مرة بل زعمتم ألن نجعل لكم موعدا وَعُرِضُوا عَلَى رَبِّكَ صَفًّا لَّقَدْ جِئْتُمُونَا كَمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ بَلْ زَعَمْتُمْ أَلَّن نَّجْعَلَ لَكُم مَّوْعِدًا | |||||
| Words | |وعرضوا - And they will be presented| على - before| ربك - your Lord| صفا - (in) rows,| لقد - "Certainly,| جئتمونا - you have come to Us| كما - as| خلقناكم - We created you| أول - the first| مرة - time.| بل - Nay,| زعمتم - you claimed| ألن - that not| نجعل - We made| لكم - for you| موعدا - an appointment."| | ||||||
| 14 [20:65] | Qaloo ya moosa immaan tulqiya wa-imma an nakoona awwala man alqa | قالوا يا موسى إما أن تلقي وإما أن نكون أول من ألقى قَالُوا يَا مُوسَى إِمَّا أَن تُلْقِيَ وَإِمَّا أَن نَّكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَلْقَى | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| موسى - "O Musa!| إما - Either| أن - [that]| تلقي - you throw| وإما - or| أن - [that]| نكون - we will be| أول - the first| من - who| ألقى - throws?"| | ||||||
| 15 [21:104] | Yawma natwee alssamaakatayyi alssijlli lilkutubi kama bada/naawwala khalqin nuAAeeduhu waAAdan AAalayna innakunna faAAileena | يوم نطوي السماء كطي السجل للكتب كما بدأنا أول خلق نعيده وعدا علينا إنا كنا فاعلين يَوْمَ نَطْوِي السَّمَاءَ كَطَيِّ السِّجِلِّ لِلْكُتُبِ كَمَا بَدَأْنَا أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُّعِيدُهُ وَعْدًا عَلَيْنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |يوم - (The) Day| نطوي - We will fold| السماء - the heaven| كطي - like (the) folding| السجل - (of) a scroll| للكتب - for records.| كما - As| بدأنا - We began| أول - (the) first| خلق - creation| نعيده - We will repeat it,| وعدا - a promise| علينا - upon Us.| إنا - Indeed, We -| كنا - We are| فاعلين - (the) Doers.| | ||||||

| 19 [41:21] | Waqaloo lijuloodihim lima shahidtumAAalayna qaloo antaqana Allahuallathee antaqa kulla shay-in wahuwa khalaqakumawwala marratin wa-ilayhi turjaAAoona | وقالوا لجلودهم لم شهدتم علينا قالوا أنطقنا الله الذي أنطق كل شيء وهو خلقكم أول مرة وإليه ترجعون وَقَالُوا لِجُلُودِهِمْ لِمَ شَهِدتُّمْ عَلَيْنَا قَالُوا أَنطَقَنَا اللَّهُ الَّذِي أَنطَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ خَلَقَكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they will say| لجلودهم - to their skins,| لم - "Why do| شهدتم - you testify| علينا - against us?"| قالوا - They will say,| أنطقنا - "Allah made us speak,| الله - "Allah made us speak,| الذي - the One Who| أنطق - makes speak| كل - every| شيء - thing;| وهو - and He| خلقكم - created you| أول - (the) first| مرة - time,| وإليه - and to Him| ترجعون - you will be returned."| | ||||||
