| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[20:65] | Qaloo ya moosa immaan tulqiya wa-imma an nakoona awwala man alqa
|  قالوا يا موسى إما أن تلقي وإما أن نكون أول من ألقى
قَالُوا يَا مُوسَى إِمَّا أَن تُلْقِيَ وَإِمَّا أَن نَّكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَلْقَى |
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| موسى - "O Musa!| إما - Either| أن - [that]| تلقي - you throw| وإما - or| أن - [that]| نكون - we will be| أول - the first| من - who| ألقى - throws?"| |

| «ሙሳ ሆይ! ወይ ትጥላለህ ወይም በመጀመሪያ የምንጥል እንኾናለን» (ምረጥ) አሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قالوا يا موسى } اختر { إما أن تُلقيَ } عصاك أولا { وإما أن نكون أول من ألقى } عصاه . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা বললঃ হে মূসা, হয় তুমি নিক্ষেপ কর, না হয় আমরা প্রথমে নিক্ষেপ করি। |
