| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[20:66] | Qala bal alqoo fa-itha hibaluhumwaAAisiyyuhum yukhayyalu ilayhi min sihrihim annahatasAAa
|  قال بل ألقوا فإذا حبالهم وعصيهم يخيل إليه من سحرهم أنها تسعى
قَالَ بَلْ أَلْقُوا فَإِذَا حِبَالُهُمْ وَعِصِيُّهُمْ يُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ مِن سِحْرِهِمْ أَنَّهَا تَسْعَى |
| Words | |قال - He said,| بل - "Nay,| ألقوا - you throw."| فإذا - Then behold!| حبالهم - Their ropes| وعصيهم - and their staffs| يخيل - seemed| إليه - to him| من - by| سحرهم - their magic| أنها - that they| تسعى - (were) moving.| |

| «አይደለም ጣሉ» አላቸው፡፡ ወዲያውም ገመዶቻቸውና ዘንጎቻቸው ከድግምታቸው የተነሳ እነርሱ የሚሮጡ (እባቦች) ኾነው ወደርሱ ተመለሱ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قال بل ألقوا } فألقوا { فإذا حبالهم وعصيهم } أصله عصوو قبلت الواوان ياءين وكسرت العين والصاد { يخيل إليه من سحرهم أنها } حيات { تسعى } على بطونها . |
| Inna: "xaîi, veggôet"! Si ssêur nnsen, iwala amzun leêêun imraren akked tâakwzin nnsen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | মূসা বললেনঃ বরং তোমরাই নিক্ষেপ কর। তাদের যাদুর প্রভাবে হঠাৎ তাঁর মনে হল, যেন তাদের রশিগুলো ও লাঠিগুলো চুটাছুটি করছে। |
| Literal | He said: "Rather you throw ." So then their ropes/ties and their sticks/canes is imagined/believed to him from their magic/sorcery that it hastens/moves quickly . |
| Yusuf Ali | He said, "Nay, throw ye first!" Then behold their ropes and their rods-so it seemed to him on account of their magic - began to be in lively motion! |
