| 1 [2:210] | Hal yanthuroona illaan ya/tiyahumu Allahu fee thulalin minaalghamami waalmala-ikatu waqudiyaal-amru wa-ila Allahi turjaAAu al-omooru |  هل ينظرون إلا أن يأتيهم الله في ظلل من الغمام والملائكة وقضي الأمر وإلى الله ترجع الأمورهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلاَّ أَن يَأْتِيَهُمُ اللّهُ فِي ظُلَلٍ مِّنَ الْغَمَامِ وَالْمَلآئِكَةُ وَقُضِيَ الأَمْرُ وَإِلَى اللّهِ تُرْجَعُ الأمُورُ | |||||
| Words | |هل - Are| ينظرون - they waiting| إلا - [except]| أن - that| يأتيهم - comes to them| الله - Allah| في - in| ظلل - (the) shadows| من - of| الغمام - [the] clouds,| والملائكة - and the Angels,| وقضي - and is decreed| الأمر - the matter?| وإلى - And to| الله - Allah| ترجع - return| الأمور - (all) the matters.| | ||||||
| 2 [6:5] | Faqad kaththaboo bialhaqqilamma jaahum fasawfa ya/teehim anbao makanoo bihi yastahzi-oona | فقد كذبوا بالحق لما جاءهم فسوف يأتيهم أنباء ما كانوا به يستهزئون فَقَدْ كَذَّبُواْ بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِيهِمْ أَنبَاءُ مَا كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فقد - Then indeed,| كذبوا - they denied| بالحق - the truth| لما - when| جاءهم - it came to them,| فسوف - but soon| يأتيهم - will come to them| أنباء - news| ما - (of) what| كانوا - they used to| به - [at it]| يستهزئون - mock.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:97] | Afaamina ahlu alqura an ya/tiyahumba/suna bayatan wahum na-imoona | أفأمن أهل القرى أن يأتيهم بأسنا بياتا وهم نائمون أَفَأَمِنَ أَهْلُ الْقُرَى أَن يَأْتِيَهُمْ بَأْسُنَا بَيَاتاً وَهُمْ نَآئِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أفأمن - Then did feel secure| أهل - (the) people| القرى - (of) the cities| أن - that| يأتيهم - comes to them| بأسنا - Our punishment| بياتا - (at) night| وهم - while they| نائمون - (were) asleep?| | ||||||
| 4 [7:98] | Awa amina ahlu alqura an ya/tiyahumba/suna duhan wahum yalAAaboona | أوأمن أهل القرى أن يأتيهم بأسنا ضحى وهم يلعبون أَوَ أَمِنَ أَهْلُ الْقُرَى أَن يَأْتِيَهُمْ بَأْسُنَا ضُحًى وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أوأمن - Or felt secure| أهل - (the) people| القرى - (of) the cities| أن - that| يأتيهم - comes to them| بأسنا - Our punishment| ضحى - (in) daylight| وهم - while they| يلعبون - (were) playing?| | ||||||
| 5 [11:8] | Wala-in akhkharna AAanhumu alAAathabaila ommatin maAAdoodatin layaqoolunna ma yahbisuhuala yawma ya/teehim laysa masroofan AAanhum wahaqabihim ma kanoo bihi yastahzi-oona | ولئن أخرنا عنهم العذاب إلى أمة معدودة ليقولن ما يحبسه ألا يوم يأتيهم ليس مصروفا عنهم وحاق بهم ما كانوا به يستهزئون وَلَئِنْ أَخَّرْنَا عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابَ إِلَى أُمَّةٍ مَّعْدُودَةٍ لَّيَقُولُنَّ مَا يَحْبِسُهُ أَلاَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمْ لَيْسَ مَصْرُوفًا عَنْهُمْ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولئن - And if| أخرنا - We delay| عنهم - from them| العذاب - the punishment| إلى - for| أمة - a time| معدودة - determined,| ليقولن - they will surely say,| ما - "What| يحبسه - detains it?"| ألا - No doubt!| يوم - (On) the Day| يأتيهم - it comes to them| ليس - not| مصروفا - (will be) averted| عنهم - from them| وحاق - and will surround| بهم - them| ما - what| كانوا - they used (to)| به - mock at [it].| يستهزئون - mock at [it].| | ||||||
| 6 [14:44] | Waanthiri alnnasa yawmaya/teehimu alAAathabu fayaqoolu allatheena thalamoorabbana akhkhirna ila ajalin qareebin nujibdaAAwataka wanattabiAAi alrrusula awa lam takoonooaqsamtum min qablu ma lakum min zawalin | وأنذر الناس يوم يأتيهم العذاب فيقول الذين ظلموا ربنا أخرنا إلى أجل قريب نجب دعوتك ونتبع الرسل أولم تكونوا أقسمتم من قبل ما لكم من زوال وَأَنذِرِ النَّاسَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمُ الْعَذَابُ فَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ رَبَّنَا أَخِّرْنَا إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ نُّجِبْ دَعْوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ الرُّسُلَ أَوَلَمْ تَكُونُواْ أَقْسَمْتُم مِّن قَبْلُ مَا لَكُم مِّن زَوَالٍ | |||||
| Words | |وأنذر - And warn| الناس - the mankind| يوم - (of) a Day| يأتيهم - (when) will come to them| العذاب - the punishment,| فيقول - then will say| الذين - those who| ظلموا - did wrong,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| أخرنا - Respite us| إلى - for| أجل - a term| قريب - short;| نجب - we will answer| دعوتك - Your call| ونتبع - and we will follow| الرسل - the Messengers."| أولم - "Had not| تكونوا - you| أقسمتم - sworn| من - before| قبل - before| ما - not| لكم - for you| من - any| زوال - end?| | ||||||
| 7 [15:11] | Wama ya/teehim min rasoolin illakanoo bihi yastahzi-oona | وما يأتيهم من رسول إلا كانوا به يستهزئون وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلاَّ كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُونَ | |||||

| 8 [16:45] | Afaamina allatheena makaroo alssayyi-atian yakhsifa Allahu bihimu al-arda aw ya/tiyahumualAAathabu min haythu la yashAAuroona | أفأمن الذين مكروا السيئات أن يخسف الله بهم الأرض أو يأتيهم العذاب من حيث لا يشعرون أَفَأَمِنَ الَّذِينَ مَكَرُواْ السَّيِّئَاتِ أَن يَخْسِفَ اللّهُ بِهِمُ الْأَرْضَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لاَ يَشْعُرُونَ | |||||

| 9 [18:55] | Wama manaAAa alnnasa anyu/minoo ith jaahumu alhuda wayastaghfiroorabbahum illa an ta/tiyahum sunnatu al-awwaleena awya/tiyahumu alAAathabu qubulan | وما منع الناس أن يؤمنوا إذ جاءهم الهدى ويستغفروا ربهم إلا أن تأتيهم سنة الأولين أو يأتيهم العذاب قبلا وَمَا مَنَعَ النَّاسَ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا إِذْ جَاءَهُمُ الْهُدَى وَيَسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّهُمْ إِلاَّ أَن تَأْتِيَهُمْ سُنَّةُ الْأَوَّلِينَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ قُبُلاً | |||||
| Words | |وما - And nothing| منع - prevents| الناس - men| أن - that| يؤمنوا - they believe| إذ - when| جاءهم - has come to them| الهدى - the guidance| ويستغفروا - and they ask forgiveness| ربهم - (of) their Lord,| إلا - except| أن - that| تأتيهم - comes to them| سنة - (the) way| الأولين - (of) the former (people)| أو - or| يأتيهم - comes to them| العذاب - the punishment| قبلا - before (them)?| | ||||||
| 10 [21:2] | Ma ya/teehim min thikrin minrabbihim muhdathin illa istamaAAoohu wahumyalAAaboona | ما يأتيهم من ذكر من ربهم محدث إلا استمعوه وهم يلعبون مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن ذِكْرٍ مَّن رَّبِّهِم مُّحْدَثٍ إِلَّا اسْتَمَعُوهُ وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ | |||||

| 11 [22:55] | Wala yazalu allatheenakafaroo fee miryatin minhu hatta ta/tiyahumu alssaAAatubaghtatan aw ya/tiyahum AAathabu yawmin AAaqeemin | ولا يزال الذين كفروا في مرية منه حتى تأتيهم الساعة بغتة أو يأتيهم عذاب يوم عقيم وَلَا يَزَالُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِّنْهُ حَتَّى تَأْتِيَهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمٍ عَقِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And not| يزال - will cease| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve| في - (to be) in| مرية - doubt| منه - of it| حتى - until| تأتيهم - comes to them| الساعة - the Hour| بغتة - suddenly| أو - or| يأتيهم - comes to them| عذاب - (the) punishment| يوم - (of) a Day| عقيم - barren.| | ||||||
| 12 [26:5] | Wama ya/teehim min thikrin minaalrrahmani muhdathin illa kanooAAanhu muAArideena | وما يأتيهم من ذكر من الرحمن محدث إلا كانوا عنه معرضين وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن ذِكْرٍ مِّنَ الرَّحْمَنِ مُحْدَثٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا عَنْهُ مُعْرِضِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And (does) not| يأتيهم - come to them| من - any| ذكر - reminder| من - from| الرحمن - the Most Gracious| محدث - new,| إلا - but| كانوا - they| عنه - from it| معرضين - turn away.| | ||||||
| 13 [36:30] | Ya hasratan AAalaalAAibadi ma ya/teehim min rasoolin illa kanoobihi yastahzi-oona | يا حسرة على العباد ما يأتيهم من رسول إلا كانوا به يستهزئون يَا حَسْرَةً عَلَى الْعِبَادِ مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلاَّ كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُون | |||||

| 15 [71:1] | Inna arsalna noohan ilaqawmihi an anthir qawmaka min qabli an ya/tiyahum AAathabunaleemun | إنا أرسلنا نوحا إلى قومه أن أنذر قومك من قبل أن يأتيهم عذاب أليم إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَى قَوْمِهِ أَنْ أَنذِرْ قَوْمَكَ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
