| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[26:5] | Wama ya/teehim min thikrin minaalrrahmani muhdathin illa kanooAAanhu muAArideena
|  وما يأتيهم من ذكر من الرحمن محدث إلا كانوا عنه معرضين
وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن ذِكْرٍ مِّنَ الرَّحْمَنِ مُحْدَثٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا عَنْهُ مُعْرِضِينَ |
| Words | |وما - And (does) not| يأتيهم - come to them| من - any| ذكر - reminder| من - from| الرحمن - the Most Gracious| محدث - new,| إلا - but| كانوا - they| عنه - from it| معرضين - turn away.| |

| ከአልረሕማንም ዘንድ ኣዲስ የተወረደ ቁርኣን አይመጣላቸውም፤ ከእርሱ የሚሸሹ ቢኾኑ እንጂ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وما يأتيهم من ذكر } قرآن { من الرحمن مُحدّث } صفة كاشفة { إلا كانوا عنه معرضين } . |
| Ur ten id ippas usmekti amaynut, s$uô Uênin, mebla ma u$alen as d inekkaôen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যখনই তাদের কাছে রহমান এর কোন নতুন উপদেশ আসে, তখনই তারা তা থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়। |
| Literal | And none from a reminder initiated/originated from the merciful comes to them except they were from it objecting/opposing . |
| Yusuf Ali | But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. |
| Pickthal | Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. |
| Arberry | But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. |
| Shakir | And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. |
| Sarwar | Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. |
| H/K/Saheeh | And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. |
| Malik | They have been turning their backs on each fresh warning that comes to them from the Compassionate (Allah).[5] |

| Free Minds | And not a reminder comes to them from the Almighty, except that they turn away from it. |
