| 1 [2:230] | Fa-in tallaqaha falatahillu lahu min baAAdu hatta tankihazawjan ghayrahu fa-in tallaqaha fala junahaAAalayhima an yatarajaAAa in thannaan yuqeema hudooda Allahi watilka hudooduAllahi yubayyinuha liqawmin yaAAlamoona |  فإن طلقها فلا تحل له من بعد حتى تنكح زوجا غيره فإن طلقها فلا جناح عليهما أن يتراجعا إن ظنا أن يقيما حدود الله وتلك حدود الله يبينها لقوم يعلمونفَإِن طَلَّقَهَا فَلاَ تَحِلُّ لَهُ مِن بَعْدُ حَتَّى تَنكِحَ زَوْجًا غَيْرَهُ فَإِن طَلَّقَهَا فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا أَن يَتَرَاجَعَا إِن ظَنَّا أَن يُقِيمَا حُدُودَ اللّهِ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللّهِ يُبَيِّنُهَا لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فإن - Then if| طلقها - he divorces her,| فلا - then (she is) not| تحل - lawful| له - for him| من - from| بعد - after (that)| حتى - until| تنكح - she marries| زوجا - a spouse| غيره - other than him.| فإن - Then if| طلقها - he divorces her| فلا - then no| جناح - sin| عليهما - on them| أن - if| يتراجعا - they return to each other| إن - if| ظنا - they believe| أن - that| يقيما - they (will be able to) keep| حدود - (the) limits.| الله - (of) Allah.| وتلك - And these| حدود - (are the) limits.| الله - (of) Allah.| يبينها - He makes them clear| لقوم - to a people| يعلمون - who know.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:140] | In yamsaskum qarhun faqad massaalqawma qarhun mithluhu watilka al-ayyamu nudawiluhabayna alnnasi waliyaAAlama Allahu allatheenaamanoo wayattakhitha minkum shuhadaa waAllahula yuhibbu alththalimeena | إن يمسسكم قرح فقد مس القوم قرح مثله وتلك الأيام نداولها بين الناس وليعلم الله الذين آمنوا ويتخذ منكم شهداء والله لا يحب الظالمين إِن يَمْسَسْكُمْ قَرْحٌ فَقَدْ مَسَّ الْقَوْمَ قَرْحٌ مِّثْلُهُ وَتِلْكَ الْأَيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَيَتَّخِذَ مِنكُمْ شُهَدَاءَ وَاللّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - If| يمسسكم - touched you| قرح - a wound,| فقد - so certainly| مس - (has) touched| القوم - the people| قرح - wound| مثله - like it.| وتلك - And this| الأيام - [the] days| نداولها - We alternate them| بين - among| الناس - the people| وليعلم - [and] so that makes evident| الله - Allah| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe[d]| ويتخذ - and take| منكم - from you| شهداء - martyrs.| والله - And Allah| لا - (does) not| يحب - love| الظالمين - the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 3 [6:83] | Watilka hujjatuna ataynahaibraheema AAala qawmihi narfaAAu darajatinman nashao inna rabbaka hakeemun AAaleemun | وتلك حجتنا آتيناها إبراهيم على قومه نرفع درجات من نشاء إن ربك حكيم عليم وَتِلْكَ حُجَّتُنَا آتَيْنَاهَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَى قَوْمِهِ نَرْفَعُ دَرَجَاتٍ مَّن نَّشَاءُ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وتلك - And this| حجتنا - (is) Our argument,| آتيناها - We gave it| إبراهيم - (to) Ibrahim| على - against| قومه - his people.| نرفع - We raise| درجات - (by) degrees| من - whom| نشاء - We will.| إن - Indeed,| ربك - your Lord| حكيم - (is) All-Wise,| عليم - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 4 [11:59] | Watilka AAadun jahadoo bi-ayatirabbihim waAAasaw rusulahu waittabaAAoo amra kullijabbarin AAaneedin | وتلك عاد جحدوا بآيات ربهم وعصوا رسله واتبعوا أمر كل جبار عنيد وَتِلْكَ عَادٌ جَحَدُواْ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَصَوْاْ رُسُلَهُ وَاتَّبَعُواْ أَمْرَ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ | |||||
| Words | |وتلك - And this| عاد - (was) Aad,| جحدوا - they rejected| بآيات - (the) Signs| ربهم - (of) their Lord| وعصوا - and disobeyed| رسله - His Messengers| واتبعوا - and followed| أمر - (the) command| كل - (of) every| جبار - tyrant| عنيد - obstinate.| | ||||||
| 5 [18:59] | Watilka alqura ahlaknahum lammathalamoo wajaAAalna limahlikihim mawAAidan | وتلك القرى أهلكناهم لما ظلموا وجعلنا لمهلكهم موعدا وَتِلْكَ الْقُرَى أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُوا وَجَعَلْنَا لِمَهْلِكِهِم مَّوْعِدًا | |||||
| Words | |وتلك - And these| القرى - [the] towns,| أهلكناهم - We destroyed them| لما - when| ظلموا - they wronged,| وجعلنا - and We made| لمهلكهم - for their destruction| موعدا - an appointed time.| | ||||||
| 6 [26:22] | Watilka niAAmatun tamunnuha AAalayyaan AAabbadta banee isra-eela | وتلك نعمة تمنها علي أن عبدت بني إسرائيل وَتِلْكَ نِعْمَةٌ تَمُنُّهَا عَلَيَّ أَنْ عَبَّدتَّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ | |||||
| Words | |وتلك - And this| نعمة - (is the) favor| تمنها - with which you reproach| علي - [on] me,| أن - that| عبدت - you have enslaved| بني - (the) Children of Israel."| إسرائيل - (the) Children of Israel."| | ||||||
| 7 [29:43] | Watilka al-amthalu nadribuhalilnnasi wama yaAAqiluha illaalAAalimoona | وتلك الأمثال نضربها للناس وما يعقلها إلا العالمون وَتِلْكَ الْأَمْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ وَمَا يَعْقِلُهَا إِلَّا الْعَالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وتلك - And these| الأمثال - examples| نضربها - We set forth| للناس - to mankind,| وما - but not| يعقلها - will understand them| إلا - except| العالمون - those of knowledge.| | ||||||
| 8 [43:72] | Watilka aljannatu allatee oorithtumoohabima kuntum taAAmaloona | وتلك الجنة التي أورثتموها بما كنتم تعملون وَتِلْكَ الْجَنَّةُ الَّتِي أُورِثْتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وتلك - And this| الجنة - (is) the Paradise| التي - which| أورثتموها - you are made to inherit| بما - for what| كنتم - you used to| تعملون - do.| | ||||||
| 9 [58:4] | Faman lam yajid fasiyamushahrayni mutatabiAAayni min qabli an yatamassafaman lam yastatiAA fa-itAAamu sitteenamiskeenan thalika litu/minoo biAllahiwarasoolihi watilka hudoodu Allahi walilkafireenaAAathabun aleemun | فمن لم يجد فصيام شهرين متتابعين من قبل أن يتماسا فمن لم يستطع فإطعام ستين مسكينا ذلك لتؤمنوا بالله ورسوله وتلك حدود الله وللكافرين عذاب أليم فَمَن لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَتَمَاسَّا فَمَن لَّمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَإِطْعَامُ سِتِّينَ مِسْكِينًا ذَلِكَ لِتُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ وَلِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |فمن - Then whoever| لم - (does) not| يجد - find,| فصيام - then fasting| شهرين - (for) two months| متتابعين - consecutively| من - before| قبل - before| أن - [that]| يتماسا - they both touch each other.| فمن - But (he) who| لم - not| يستطع - is able| فإطعام - then (the) feeding| ستين - (of) sixty| مسكينا - needy one(s).| ذلك - That -| لتؤمنوا - so that you may believe| بالله - in Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger,| وتلك - and these| حدود - (are the) limits| الله - (of) Allah,| وللكافرين - and for the disbelievers| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful.| | ||||||
| 10 [59:21] | Law anzalna hatha alqur-anaAAala jabalin laraaytahu khashiAAan mutasaddiAAanmin khashyati Allahi watilka al-amthalu nadribuhalilnnasi laAAallahum yatafakkaroona | لو أنزلنا هذا القرآن على جبل لرأيته خاشعا متصدعا من خشية الله وتلك الأمثال نضربها للناس لعلهم يتفكرون لَوْ أَنزَلْنَا هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى جَبَلٍ لَّرَأَيْتَهُ خَاشِعًا مُّتَصَدِّعًا مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ وَتِلْكَ الْأَمْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لو - If| أنزلنا - We (had) sent down| هذا - this| القرآن - Quran| على - on| جبل - a mountain,| لرأيته - surely you (would) have seen it| خاشعا - humbled,| متصدعا - breaking asunder| من - from| خشية - (the) fear| الله - (of) Allah.| وتلك - And these| الأمثال - examples,| نضربها - We present them| للناس - to the people| لعلهم - so that they may| يتفكرون - give thought.| | ||||||
| 11 [65:1] | Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu ithatallaqtumu alnnisaa fatalliqoohunnaliAAiddatihinna waahsoo alAAiddata waittaqoo Allaharabbakum la tukhrijoohunna min buyootihinna walayakhrujna illa an ya/teena bifahishatinmubayyinatin watilka hudoodu Allahi wamanyataAAadda hudooda Allahi faqad thalamanafsahu la tadree laAAalla Allaha yuhdithubaAAda thalika amran | يا أيها النبي إذا طلقتم النساء فطلقوهن لعدتهن وأحصوا العدة واتقوا الله ربكم لا تخرجوهن من بيوتهن ولا يخرجن إلا أن يأتين بفاحشة مبينة وتلك حدود الله ومن يتعد حدود الله فقد ظلم نفسه لا تدري لعل الله يحدث بعد ذلك أمرا يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ وَأَحْصُوا الْعِدَّةَ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ لَا تُخْرِجُوهُنَّ مِن بُيُوتِهِنَّ وَلَا يَخْرُجْنَ إِلَّا أَن يَأْتِينَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُّبَيِّنَةٍ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ وَمَن يَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُ لَا تَدْرِي لَعَلَّ اللَّهَ يُحْدِثُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ أَمْرًا | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O| النبي - Prophet!| إذا - When| طلقتم - you divorce| النساء - [the] women,| فطلقوهن - then divorce them| لعدتهن - for their waiting period,| وأحصوا - and keep count| العدة - (of) the waiting period,| واتقوا - and fear| الله - Allah,| ربكم - your Lord.| لا - (Do) not| تخرجوهن - expel them| من - from| بيوتهن - their houses,| ولا - and not| يخرجن - they should leave| إلا - except| أن - that| يأتين - they commit| بفاحشة - an immorality| مبينة - clear.| وتلك - And these| حدود - (are the) limits| الله - (of) Allah.| ومن - And whoever| يتعد - transgresses| حدود - (the) limits| الله - (of) Allah| فقد - then certainly| ظلم - he has wronged| نفسه - himself.| لا - Not| تدري - you know;| لعل - Perhaps| الله - Allah| يحدث - will bring about,| بعد - after| ذلك - that,| أمرا - a matter.| | ||||||
