| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[18:59] | Watilka alqura ahlaknahum lammathalamoo wajaAAalna limahlikihim mawAAidan
|  وتلك القرى أهلكناهم لما ظلموا وجعلنا لمهلكهم موعدا
وَتِلْكَ الْقُرَى أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُوا وَجَعَلْنَا لِمَهْلِكِهِم مَّوْعِدًا |
| Words | |وتلك - And these| القرى - [the] towns,| أهلكناهم - We destroyed them| لما - when| ظلموا - they wronged,| وجعلنا - and We made| لمهلكهم - for their destruction| موعدا - an appointed time.| |

| እነዚህ ከተሞችም በበደሉ ጊዜ አጠፋናቸው፡፡ ለመጥፊያቸውም የተወሰነ ጊዜን አደረግን፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وتلك القرى } أي أهلها كعاد وثمود وغيرهما { أهلكناهم لما ظلموا } كفروا { وجعلنا لمهلكهم } لإهلاكهم وفي قراءة بفتح الميم أي لهلاكهم { موعدا } . |
| Timdinin nni i Nesqucc mi densent, Nga ppaâud i usquccu nnsent. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এসব জনপদও তাদেরকে আমি ধংস করে দিয়েছি, যখন তারা জালেম হয়ে গিয়েছিল এবং আমি তাদের ধ্বংসের জন্যে একটি প্রতিশ্রুত সময় নির্দিষ্ট করেছিলাম। |
| Literal | And those are the villages/urban cities, We destroyed them when they caused injustice/oppression, and We made/put for their death/destruction an appointment. |
| Yusuf Ali | Such were the populations we destroyed when they committed iniquities; but we fixed an appointed time for their destruction. |
