| 1 [19:26] | Fakulee waishrabee waqarree AAaynanfa-imma tarayinna mina albashari ahadan faqooleeinnee nathartu lilrrahmani sawmanfalan okallima alyawma insiyyan |  فكلي واشربي وقري عينا فإما ترين من البشر أحدا فقولي إني نذرت للرحمن صوما فلن أكلم اليوم إنسيافَكُلِي وَاشْرَبِي وَقَرِّي عَيْنًا فَإِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ الْبَشَرِ أَحَدًا فَقُولِي إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لِلرَّحْمَنِ صَوْمًا فَلَنْ أُكَلِّمَ الْيَوْمَ إِنسِيًّا | |||||
| Words | |فكلي - So eat| واشربي - and drink| وقري - and cool| عينا - (your) eyes.| فإما - And if| ترين - you see| من - from| البشر - human being| أحدا - anyone| فقولي - then say,| إني - "Indeed, I| نذرت - [I] have vowed| للرحمن - to the Most Gracious| صوما - a fast,| فلن - so not| أكلم - I will speak| اليوم - today| إنسيا - (to any) human being."| | ||||||
| 2 [19:44] | Ya abati la taAAbudi alshshaytanainna alshshaytana kana lilrrahmaniAAasiyyan | يا أبت لا تعبد الشيطان إن الشيطان كان للرحمن عصيا يَا أَبَتِ لاَ تَعْبُدِ الشَّيْطَانَ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَنِ عَصِيًّا | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أبت - O my father!| لا - (Do) not| تعبد - worship| الشيطان - the Shaitaan.| إن - Indeed,| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| كان - is| للرحمن - to the Most Gracious| عصيا - disobedient.| | ||||||
| 3 [19:91] | An daAAaw lilrrahmaniwaladan | أن دعوا للرحمن ولدا أَن دَعَوْا لِلرَّحْمَنِ وَلَدًا | |||||
| Words | |أن - That| دعوا - they invoke| للرحمن - to the Most Gracious| ولدا - a son.| | ||||||
| 4 [19:92] | Wama yanbaghee lilrrahmanian yattakhitha waladan | وما ينبغي للرحمن أن يتخذ ولدا وَمَا يَنبَغِي لِلرَّحْمَنِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| ينبغي - is appropriate| للرحمن - for the Most Gracious| أن - that| يتخذ - He should take| ولدا - a son.| | ||||||
| 5 [20:108] | Yawma-ithin yattabiAAoona alddaAAiyala AAiwaja lahu wakhashaAAati al-aswatu lilrrahmanifala tasmaAAu illa hamsan | يومئذ يتبعون الداعي لا عوج له وخشعت الأصوات للرحمن فلا تسمع إلا همسا يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَّبِعُونَ الدَّاعِيَ لَا عِوَجَ لَهُ وَخَشَعَتِ الْأَصْوَاتُ لِلرَّحْمَنِ فَلَا تَسْمَعُ إِلَّا هَمْسًا | |||||
| Words | |يومئذ - On that Day| يتبعون - they will follow| الداعي - the caller,| لا - no| عوج - deviation| له - from it.| وخشعت - And (will be) humbled| الأصوات - the voices| للرحمن - for the Most Gracious,| فلا - so not| تسمع - you will hear| إلا - except| همسا - a faint sound.| | ||||||
| 6 [25:26] | Almulku yawma-ithin alhaqqu lilrrahmaniwakana yawman AAala alkafireena AAaseeran | الملك يومئذ الحق للرحمن وكان يوما على الكافرين عسيرا الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْحَقُّ لِلرَّحْمَنِ وَكَانَ يَوْمًا عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ عَسِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |الملك - The Sovereignty,| يومئذ - that Day| الحق - (will be) truly,| للرحمن - for the Most Gracious.| وكان - And (it will) be| يوما - a Day| على - for| الكافرين - the disbelievers| عسيرا - difficult.| | ||||||
| 7 [25:60] | Wa-itha qeela lahumu osjudoo lilrrahmaniqaloo wama alrrahmanu anasjudulima ta/muruna wazadahum nufooran | وإذا قيل لهم اسجدوا للرحمن قالوا وما الرحمن أنسجد لما تأمرنا وزادهم نفورا وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اسْجُدُوا لِلرَّحْمَنِ قَالُوا وَمَا الرَّحْمَنُ أَنَسْجُدُ لِمَا تَأْمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمْ نُفُورًا | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| قيل - it is said| لهم - to them,| اسجدوا - "Prostrate| للرحمن - to the Most Gracious."| قالوا - They say,| وما - "And what| الرحمن - (is) the Most Gracious?| أنسجد - Should we prostrate| لما - to what| تأمرنا - you order us?"| وزادهم - And it increases them| نفورا - (in) aversion.| | ||||||
| 8 [43:17] | Wa-itha bushshira ahaduhum bimadaraba lilrrahmani mathalan thallawajhuhu muswaddan wahuwa katheemun | وإذا بشر أحدهم بما ضرب للرحمن مثلا ظل وجهه مسودا وهو كظيم وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحْمَنِ مَثَلًا ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| بشر - is given good news,| أحدهم - (to) one of them,| بما - of what| ضرب - he sets up| للرحمن - for the Most Gracious| مثلا - (as) a likeness,| ظل - becomes| وجهه - his face| مسودا - dark| وهو - and he| كظيم - (is) filled with grief.| | ||||||
| 9 [43:81] | Qul in kana lilrrahmaniwaladun faana awwalu alAAabideena | قل إن كان للرحمن ولد فأنا أول العابدين قُلْ إِن كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَنِ وَلَدٌ فَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْعَابِدِينَ | |||||
