| 1 [3:11] | Kada/bi ali firAAawna waallatheenamin qablihim kaththaboo bi-ayatinafaakhathahumu Allahu bithunoobihim waAllahushadeedu alAAiqabi |  كدأب آل فرعون والذين من قبلهم كذبوا بآياتنا فأخذهم الله بذنوبهم والله شديد العقابكَدَأْبِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ وَالَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَاللّهُ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ | |||||
| Words | |كدأب - Like behavior| آل - (of the) people| فرعون - (of) Firaun| والذين - and those who| من - (were) from| قبلهم - before them.| كذبوا - They denied| بآياتنا - Our Signs,| فأخذهم - so seized them| الله - Allah| بذنوبهم - for their sins.| والله - And Allah| شديد - (is) severe| العقاب - (in) [the] punishment.| | ||||||
| 2 [5:70] | Laqad akhathna meethaqabanee isra-eela waarsalna ilayhim rusulan kullamajaahum rasoolun bima la tahwaanfusuhum fareeqan kaththaboo wafareeqan yaqtuloona | لقد أخذنا ميثاق بني إسرائيل وأرسلنا إليهم رسلا كلما جاءهم رسول بما لا تهوى أنفسهم فريقا كذبوا وفريقا يقتلون لَقَدْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَأَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ رُسُلاً كُلَّمَا جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ بِمَا لاَ تَهْوَى أَنْفُسُهُمْ فَرِيقًا كَذَّبُواْ وَفَرِيقًا يَقْتُلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لقد - Certainly| أخذنا - We took| ميثاق - a Covenant| بني - (from the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel| وأرسلنا - and We sent| إليهم - to them| رسلا - Messengers.| كلما - Whenever| جاءهم - came to them| رسول - any Messenger| بما - with what| لا - not| تهوى - desired| أنفسهم - their souls,| فريقا - a group| كذبوا - they denied| وفريقا - and a group| يقتلون - they kill.| | ||||||
| 3 [6:5] | Faqad kaththaboo bialhaqqilamma jaahum fasawfa ya/teehim anbao makanoo bihi yastahzi-oona | فقد كذبوا بالحق لما جاءهم فسوف يأتيهم أنباء ما كانوا به يستهزئون فَقَدْ كَذَّبُواْ بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِيهِمْ أَنبَاءُ مَا كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فقد - Then indeed,| كذبوا - they denied| بالحق - the truth| لما - when| جاءهم - it came to them,| فسوف - but soon| يأتيهم - will come to them| أنباء - news| ما - (of) what| كانوا - they used to| به - [at it]| يستهزئون - mock.| | ||||||
| 4 [6:24] | Onthur kayfa kathabooAAala anfusihim wadalla AAanhum ma kanooyaftaroona | انظر كيف كذبوا على أنفسهم وضل عنهم ما كانوا يفترون انظُرْ كَيْفَ كَذَبُواْ عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |انظر - Look| كيف - how| كذبوا - they lied| على - against| أنفسهم - themselves.| وضل - And lost| عنهم - from them| ما - what| كانوا - they used to| يفترون - invent.| | ||||||
| 5 [6:31] | Qad khasira allatheena kaththaboobiliqa-i Allahi hatta itha jaat-humualssaAAatu baghtatan qaloo ya hasratanaAAala ma farratna feeha wahumyahmiloona awzarahum AAala thuhoorihimala saa ma yaziroona | قد خسر الذين كذبوا بلقاء الله حتى إذا جاءتهم الساعة بغتة قالوا يا حسرتنا على ما فرطنا فيها وهم يحملون أوزارهم على ظهورهم ألا ساء ما يزرون قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِلِقَاءِ اللّهِ حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءَتْهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً قَالُواْ يَا حَسْرَتَنَا عَلَى مَا فَرَّطْنَا فِيهَا وَهُمْ يَحْمِلُونَ أَوْزَارَهُمْ عَلَى ظُهُورِهِمْ أَلاَ سَاءَ مَا يَزِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قد - Indeed,| خسر - incurred loss| الذين - those who| كذبوا - denied| بلقاء - in (the) meeting| الله - (with) Allah,| حتى - until| إذا - when| جاءتهم - came to them| الساعة - the Hour| بغتة - suddenly| قالوا - they said,| يا - O| حسرتنا - "Oh! Our regret| على - over| ما - what| فرطنا - we neglected| فيها - concerning it,"| وهم - while they| يحملون - will bear| أوزارهم - their burdens| على - on| ظهورهم - their backs.| ألا - Unquestionably!| ساء - Evil| ما - (is) what| يزرون - they bear.| | ||||||
| 6 [6:34] | Walaqad kuththibat rusulun minqablika fasabaroo AAala ma kuththiboowaoothoo hatta atahum nasrunawala mubaddila likalimati Allahi walaqad jaakamin naba-i almursaleena | ولقد كذبت رسل من قبلك فصبروا على ما كذبوا وأوذوا حتى أتاهم نصرنا ولا مبدل لكلمات الله ولقد جاءك من نبإ المرسلين وَلَقَدْ كُذِّبَتْ رُسُلٌ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَصَبَرُواْ عَلَى مَا كُذِّبُواْ وَأُوذُواْ حَتَّى أَتَاهُمْ نَصْرُنَا وَلاَ مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِ اللّهِ وَلَقدْ جَاءَكَ مِن نَّبَإِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And surely| كذبت - were rejected| رسل - Messengers| من - from| قبلك - before you,| فصبروا - but they were patient| على - over| ما - what| كذبوا - they were rejected| وأوذوا - and they were harmed| حتى - until| أتاهم - came to them| نصرنا - Our help.| ولا - And no| مبدل - one (can) alter| لكلمات - (the) words| الله - (of) Allah,| ولقد - and surely| جاءك - has come to you| من - of| نبإ - (the) news| المرسلين - (of) the Messengers.| | ||||||
| 7 [6:39] | Waallatheena kaththaboobi-ayatina summun wabukmun fee alththulumatiman yasha-i Allahu yudlilhu waman yasha/ yajAAalhuAAala siratin mustaqeemin | والذين كذبوا بآياتنا صم وبكم في الظلمات من يشإ الله يضلله ومن يشأ يجعله على صراط مستقيم وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا صُمٌّ وَبُكْمٌ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ مَن يَشَإِ اللّهُ يُضْلِلْهُ وَمَن يَشَأْ يَجْعَلْهُ عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| كذبوا - rejected| بآياتنا - Our Verses| صم - (are) deaf| وبكم - and dumb| في - in| الظلمات - the darkness[es].| من - Whoever| يشإ - wills| الله - Allah -| يضلله - He lets him go astray| ومن - and whoever| يشأ - He wills -| يجعله - He places him| على - on| صراط - (the) way,| مستقيم - (the) straight.| | ||||||
| 8 [6:49] | Waallatheena kaththaboobi-ayatina yamassuhumu alAAathabu bimakanoo yafsuqoona | والذين كذبوا بآياتنا يمسهم العذاب بما كانوا يفسقون وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا يَمَسُّهُمُ الْعَذَابُ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْسُقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - [in] Our Verses| يمسهم - will touch them| العذاب - the punishment| بما - for what| كانوا - they used to| يفسقون - defiantly disobey.| | ||||||
| 9 [6:150] | Qul halumma shuhadaakumu allatheenayashhadoona anna Allaha harrama hatha fa-inshahidoo fala tashhad maAAahum wala tattabiAA ahwaaallatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinawaallatheena la yu/minoona bial-akhiratiwahum birabbihim yaAAdiloona | قل هلم شهداءكم الذين يشهدون أن الله حرم هذا فإن شهدوا فلا تشهد معهم ولا تتبع أهواء الذين كذبوا بآياتنا والذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة وهم بربهم يعدلون قُلْ هَلُمَّ شُهَدَاءَكُمُ الَّذِينَ يَشْهَدُونَ أَنَّ اللّهَ حَرَّمَ هَـذَا فَإِن شَهِدُواْ فَلاَ تَشْهَدْ مَعَهُمْ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَالَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ وَهُم بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| هلم - "Bring forward| شهداءكم - your witnesses,| الذين - those who| يشهدون - testify| أن - that| الله - Allah| حرم - prohibited| هذا - this."| فإن - Then if| شهدوا - they testify| فلا - then (do) not| تشهد - testify| معهم - with them.| ولا - And (do) not| تتبع - follow| أهواء - (the) desires| الذين - (of) those who| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - Our Signs| والذين - and those who| لا - (do) not| يؤمنون - believe| بالآخرة - in the Hereafter,| وهم - while they| بربهم - with their Lord| يعدلون - set up equals.| | ||||||
| 10 [7:36] | Waallatheena kaththaboobi-ayatina waistakbaroo AAanhaola-ika as-habu alnnari humfeeha khalidoona | والذين كذبوا بآياتنا واستكبروا عنها أولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَاسْتَكْبَرُواْ عَنْهَا أُوْلَـَئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - But those who| كذبوا - deny| بآياتنا - Our Verses| واستكبروا - and (are) arrogant| عنها - towards them| أولئك - those| أصحاب - (are the) companions| النار - (of) the Fire,| هم - they| فيها - in it| خالدون - will abide forever.| | ||||||
| 11 [7:40] | Inna allatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinawaistakbaroo AAanha la tufattahulahum abwabu alssama-i walayadkhuloona aljannata hatta yalija aljamalu feesammi alkhiyati wakathalika najzee almujrimeena | إن الذين كذبوا بآياتنا واستكبروا عنها لا تفتح لهم أبواب السماء ولا يدخلون الجنة حتى يلج الجمل في سم الخياط وكذلك نجزي المجرمين إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَاسْتَكْبَرُواْ عَنْهَا لاَ تُفَتَّحُ لَهُمْ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ وَلاَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى يَلِجَ الْجَمَلُ فِي سَمِّ الْخِيَاطِ وَكَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُجْرِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - Our Verses| واستكبروا - and (were) arrogant| عنها - towards them,| لا - (will) not| تفتح - be opened| لهم - for them| أبواب - (the) doors| السماء - (of) the heaven,| ولا - and not| يدخلون - they will enter| الجنة - Paradise| حتى - until| يلج - passes| الجمل - the camel| في - through| سم - (the) eye| الخياط - (of) the needle.| وكذلك - And thus| نجزي - We recompense| المجرمين - the criminals.| | ||||||
| 12 [7:64] | Fakaththaboohu faanjaynahu waallatheenamaAAahu fee alfulki waaghraqna allatheena kaththaboobi-ayatina innahum kanoo qawmanAAameena | فكذبوه فأنجيناه والذين معه في الفلك وأغرقنا الذين كذبوا بآياتنا إنهم كانوا قوما عمين فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَأَغْرَقْنَا الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا إِنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ قَوْماً عَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فكذبوه - But they denied him,| فأنجيناه - so We saved him| والذين - and those who| معه - (were) with him| في - in| الفلك - the ship.| وأغرقنا - And We drowned| الذين - those who| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - Our Verses.| إنهم - Indeed, they| كانوا - were| قوما - a people| عمين - blind.| | ||||||
| 13 [7:72] | Faanjaynahu waallatheenamaAAahu birahmatin minna waqataAAna dabiraallatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinawama kanoo mu/mineena | فأنجيناه والذين معه برحمة منا وقطعنا دابر الذين كذبوا بآياتنا وما كانوا مؤمنين فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا وَقَطَعْنَا دَابِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَمَا كَانُواْ مُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فأنجيناه - So We saved him| والذين - and those| معه - with him| برحمة - by Mercy| منا - from Us.| وقطعنا - And We cut off| دابر - the roots| الذين - (of) those who| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - Our Signs,| وما - and not| كانوا - they were| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 14 [7:92] | Allatheena kaththabooshuAAayban kaan lam yaghnaw feeha allatheena kaththabooshuAAayban kanoo humu alkhasireena | الذين كذبوا شعيبا كأن لم يغنوا فيها الذين كذبوا شعيبا كانوا هم الخاسرين الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ شُعَيْبًا كَأَن لَّمْ يَغْنَوْاْ فِيهَا الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ شُعَيْبًا كَانُواْ هُمُ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||

| 15 [7:96] | Walaw anna ahla alqura amanoowaittaqaw lafatahna AAalayhim barakatinmina alssama-i waal-ardi walakinkaththaboo faakhathnahum bima kanooyaksiboona | ولو أن أهل القرى آمنوا واتقوا لفتحنا عليهم بركات من السماء والأرض ولكن كذبوا فأخذناهم بما كانوا يكسبون وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْقُرَى آمَنُواْ وَاتَّقَواْ لَفَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَرَكَاتٍ مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَـكِن كَذَّبُواْ فَأَخَذْنَاهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْسِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أن - [that]| أهل - people| القرى - (of) the cities| آمنوا - (had) believed| واتقوا - and feared Allah| لفتحنا - surely We (would have) opened| عليهم - upon them| بركات - blessings| من - from| السماء - the heaven| والأرض - and the earth| ولكن - but| كذبوا - they denied.| فأخذناهم - So We seized them| بما - for what| كانوا - they used to| يكسبون - earn.| | ||||||
| 16 [7:101] | Tilka alqura naqussu AAalaykamin anba-iha walaqad jaat-hum rusuluhum bialbayyinatifama kanoo liyu/minoo bima kaththaboomin qablu kathalika yatbaAAu Allahu AAalaquloobi alkafireena | تلك القرى نقص عليك من أنبائها ولقد جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات فما كانوا ليؤمنوا بما كذبوا من قبل كذلك يطبع الله على قلوب الكافرين تِلْكَ الْقُرَى نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنبَآئِهَا وَلَقَدْ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُواْ بِمَا كَذَّبُواْ مِن قَبْلُ كَذَلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِ الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |تلك - These| القرى - (were) the cities -| نقص - We relate| عليك - to you| من - of| أنبائها - their news.| ولقد - And certainly| جاءتهم - came to them| رسلهم - their Messengers| بالبينات - with clear proofs,| فما - but not| كانوا - they were| ليؤمنوا - to believe| بما - in what| كذبوا - they (had) denied| من - from| قبل - before.| كذلك - Thus| يطبع - (has been) put a seal| الله - (by) Allah| على - on| قلوب - (the) hearts| الكافرين - (of) the disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 17 [7:136] | Faintaqamna minhum faaghraqnahumfee alyammi bi-annahum kaththaboo bi-ayatinawakanoo AAanha ghafileena | فانتقمنا منهم فأغرقناهم في اليم بأنهم كذبوا بآياتنا وكانوا عنها غافلين فَانتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ فِي الْيَمِّ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَكَانُواْ عَنْهَا غَافِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فانتقمنا - So We took retribution| منهم - from them| فأغرقناهم - and We drowned them| في - in| اليم - the sea| بأنهم - because they| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - Our Signs,| وكانوا - and they were| عنها - to them| غافلين - heedless.| | ||||||
| 18 [7:146] | Saasrifu AAan ayatiyaallatheena yatakabbaroona fee al-ardi bighayri alhaqqiwa-in yaraw kulla ayatin la yu/minoo bihawa-in yaraw sabeela alrrushdi la yattakhithoohusabeelan wa-in yaraw sabeela alghayyi yattakhithoohusabeelan thalika bi-annahum kaththaboo bi-ayatinawakanoo AAanha ghafileena | سأصرف عن آياتي الذين يتكبرون في الأرض بغير الحق وإن يروا كل آية لا يؤمنوا بها وإن يروا سبيل الرشد لا يتخذوه سبيلا وإن يروا سبيل الغي يتخذوه سبيلا ذلك بأنهم كذبوا بآياتنا وكانوا عنها غافلين سَأَصْرِفُ عَنْ آيَاتِيَ الَّذِينَ يَتَكَبَّرُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَإِن يَرَوْاْ كُلَّ آيَةٍ لاَّ يُؤْمِنُواْ بِهَا وَإِن يَرَوْاْ سَبِيلَ الرُّشْدِ لاَ يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيلاً وَإِن يَرَوْاْ سَبِيلَ الْغَيِّ يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيلاً ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَكَانُواْ عَنْهَا غَافِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |سأصرف - I will turn away| عن - from| آياتي - My Signs| الذين - those who| يتكبرون - are arrogant| في - in| الأرض - the earth| بغير - without| الحق - [the] right;| وإن - and if| يروا - they see| كل - every| آية - sign,| لا - not| يؤمنوا - (will) they believe| بها - in it.| وإن - And if| يروا - they see| سبيل - (the) way| الرشد - (of) the righteousness,| لا - not| يتخذوه - (will) they take it| سبيلا - (as) a way,| وإن - but if| يروا - they see| سبيل - (the) way| الغي - (of) [the] error,| يتخذوه - they will take it| سبيلا - (as) a way.| ذلك - That| بأنهم - (is) because they| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - Our Signs| وكانوا - and they were| عنها - of them| غافلين - heedless.| | ||||||
| 19 [7:147] | Waallatheena kaththaboobi-ayatina waliqa-i al-akhiratihabitat aAAmaluhum hal yujzawna illama kanoo yaAAmaloona | والذين كذبوا بآياتنا ولقاء الآخرة حبطت أعمالهم هل يجزون إلا ما كانوا يعملون وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا وَلِقَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلاَّ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - Our Signs| ولقاء - and (the) meeting| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter -| حبطت - worthless| أعمالهم - (are) their deeds.| هل - Will| يجزون - they be recompensed| إلا - except| ما - (for) what| كانوا - they used to| يعملون - do?| | ||||||
| 20 [7:176] | Walaw shi/na larafaAAnahu bihawalakinnahu akhlada ila al-ardi waittabaAAahawahu famathaluhu kamathali alkalbi in tahmilAAalayhi yalhath aw tatruk-hu yalhath thalika mathalualqawmi allatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinafaoqsusi alqasasa laAAallahumyatafakkaroona | ولو شئنا لرفعناه بها ولكنه أخلد إلى الأرض واتبع هواه فمثله كمثل الكلب إن تحمل عليه يلهث أو تتركه يلهث ذلك مثل القوم الذين كذبوا بآياتنا فاقصص القصص لعلهم يتفكرون وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَرَفَعْنَاهُ بِهَا وَلَـكِنَّهُ أَخْلَدَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ وَاتَّبَعَ هَوَاهُ فَمَثَلُهُ كَمَثَلِ الْكَلْبِ إِن تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْهِ يَلْهَثْ أَوْ تَتْرُكْهُ يَلْهَث ذَّلِكَ مَثَلُ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا فَاقْصُصِ الْقَصَصَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| شئنا - We willed| لرفعناه - surely, We (could) have raised him| بها - with these| ولكنه - [and] but he| أخلد - adhered| إلى - to| الأرض - the earth| واتبع - and followed| هواه - his (vain) desires.| فمثله - So his example| كمثل - (is) like (the) example| الكلب - (of) the dog,| إن - if| تحمل - you attack| عليه - [on] him,| يلهث - he lolls out his tongue| أو - or| تتركه - if you leave him,| يلهث - he lolls out his tongue.| ذلك - That| مثل - (is the) example| القوم - (of) the people| الذين - who| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - [in] Our Signs.| فاقصص - So relate| القصص - the story| لعلهم - so that they may| يتفكرون - reflect.| | ||||||
