| 1 [6:97] | Wahuwa allathee jaAAala lakumu alnnujoomalitahtadoo biha fee thulumati albarriwaalbahri qad fassalna al-ayatiliqawmin yaAAlamoona |  وهو الذي جعل لكم النجوم لتهتدوا بها في ظلمات البر والبحر قد فصلنا الآيات لقوم يعلمونوَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ النُّجُومَ لِتَهْتَدُواْ بِهَا فِي ظُلُمَاتِ الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وهو - And He| الذي - (is) the One Who| جعل - made| لكم - for you| النجوم - the stars| لتهتدوا - that you may guide yourselves| بها - with them| في - in| ظلمات - the darkness[es]| البر - (of) the land| والبحر - and the sea.| قد - Certainly,| فصلنا - We have made clear| الآيات - the Signs| لقوم - for a people| يعلمون - (who) know.| | ||||||
| 2 [37:88] | Fanathara nathratanfee alnnujoomi | فنظر نظرة في النجوم فَنَظَرَ نَظْرَةً فِي النُّجُومِ | |||||
| Words | |فنظر - Then he glanced| نظرة - a glance| في - at| النجوم - the stars,| | ||||||
| 3 [52:49] | Wamina allayli fasabbihhu wa-idbaraalnnujoomi | ومن الليل فسبحه وإدبار النجوم وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَإِدْبَارَ النُّجُومِ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And of| الليل - the night,| فسبحه - glorify Him,| وإدبار - and after| النجوم - the stars.| | ||||||
| 4 [56:75] | Fala oqsimu bimawaqiAAi alnnujoomi | فلا أقسم بمواقع النجوم فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِمَوَاقِعِ النُّجُومِ | |||||
| Words | |فلا - But nay,| أقسم - I swear| بمواقع - by setting| النجوم - (of) the stars,| | ||||||
| 5 [77:8] | Fa-itha alnnujoomu tumisat | فإذا النجوم طمست فَإِذَا النُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ | |||||
| Words | |فإذا - So when| النجوم - the stars| طمست - are obliterated,| | ||||||
| 6 [81:2] | Wa-itha alnnujoomu inkadarat | وإذا النجوم انكدرت وَإِذَا النُّجُومُ انكَدَرَتْ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| النجوم - the stars| انكدرت - fall, losing their luster| | ||||||
