| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[6:97] | Wahuwa allathee jaAAala lakumu alnnujoomalitahtadoo biha fee thulumati albarriwaalbahri qad fassalna al-ayatiliqawmin yaAAlamoona
|  وهو الذي جعل لكم النجوم لتهتدوا بها في ظلمات البر والبحر قد فصلنا الآيات لقوم يعلمون
وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ النُّجُومَ لِتَهْتَدُواْ بِهَا فِي ظُلُمَاتِ الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ |
| Words | |وهو - And He| الذي - (is) the One Who| جعل - made| لكم - for you| النجوم - the stars| لتهتدوا - that you may guide yourselves| بها - with them| في - in| ظلمات - the darkness[es]| البر - (of) the land| والبحر - and the sea.| قد - Certainly,| فصلنا - We have made clear| الآيات - the Signs| لقوم - for a people| يعلمون - (who) know.| |

| እርሱም ያ ከዋክብትን በየብስና በባሕር ጨለማዎች ውስጥ በእርሷ ትመሩ ዘንድ ለእናንተ ያደረገ ነው፡፡ ለሚያውቁ ሕዝቦች አንቀጾችን በእርግጥ ዘረዘርን፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وهو الذي جعل لكم النجوم لتهتدوا بها في ظلمات البر والبحر } في الأسفار { قد فصَّلنا } بينا { الآيات } الدلالات على قدرتنا { لقوم يعلمون } يتدبرون . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তিনিই তোমাদের জন্য নক্ষত্রপুঞ্জ সৃজন করেছেন যাতে তোমরা স্থল ও জলের অন্ধকারে পথ প্রাপ্ত হও। নিশ্চয় যারা জ্ঞানী তাদের জন্যে আমি নির্দেশনাবলী বিস্তারিত বর্ণনা করে দিয়েছি। |
| Literal | And He is who made/created for you the stars/planets to be guided with it in the shore's/land's and the sea's darknesses, We had detailed/explained the evidences/verses to a nation knowing. |
| Yusuf Ali | It is He Who maketh the stars (as beacons) for you, that ye may guide yourselves, with their help, through the dark spaces of land and sea: We detail Our signs for people who know. |
