| 1 [6:92] | Wahatha kitabun anzalnahumubarakun musaddiqu allathee bayna yadayhiwalitunthira omma alqura waman hawlahawaallatheena yu/minoona bial-akhiratiyu/minoona bihi wahum AAala salatihim yuhafithoona |  وهذا كتاب أنزلناه مبارك مصدق الذي بين يديه ولتنذر أم القرى ومن حولها والذين يؤمنون بالآخرة يؤمنون به وهم على صلاتهم يحافظونوَهَـذَا كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ مُبَارَكٌ مُّصَدِّقُ الَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلِتُنذِرَ أُمَّ الْقُرَى وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَهُمْ عَلَى صَلاَتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وهذا - And this| كتاب - (is) a Book,| أنزلناه - We have revealed it,| مبارك - blessed,| مصدق - confirming| الذي - which| بين - (came) before| يديه - its hands,| ولتنذر - so that you may warn| أم - (the) mother| القرى - (of) the cities| ومن - and who| حولها - (are) around it.| والذين - And those who| يؤمنون - believe| بالآخرة - in the Hereafter,| يؤمنون - they believe| به - in it,| وهم - and they,| على - over| صلاتهم - their prayers| يحافظون - (are) guarding.| | ||||||
| 2 [6:131] | Thalika an lam yakun rabbuka muhlikaalqura bithulmin waahluha ghafiloona | ذلك أن لم يكن ربك مهلك القرى بظلم وأهلها غافلون ذَلِكَ أَن لَّمْ يَكُن رَّبُّكَ مُهْلِكَ الْقُرَى بِظُلْمٍ وَأَهْلُهَا غَافِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ذلك - That (is because)| أن - [that]| لم - not| يكن - is| ربك - your Lord| مهلك - one who destroys| القرى - the cities| بظلم - for (their) wrongdoing| وأهلها - while their people| غافلون - (are) unaware.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:96] | Walaw anna ahla alqura amanoowaittaqaw lafatahna AAalayhim barakatinmina alssama-i waal-ardi walakinkaththaboo faakhathnahum bima kanooyaksiboona | ولو أن أهل القرى آمنوا واتقوا لفتحنا عليهم بركات من السماء والأرض ولكن كذبوا فأخذناهم بما كانوا يكسبون وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْقُرَى آمَنُواْ وَاتَّقَواْ لَفَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَرَكَاتٍ مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَـكِن كَذَّبُواْ فَأَخَذْنَاهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْسِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أن - [that]| أهل - people| القرى - (of) the cities| آمنوا - (had) believed| واتقوا - and feared Allah| لفتحنا - surely We (would have) opened| عليهم - upon them| بركات - blessings| من - from| السماء - the heaven| والأرض - and the earth| ولكن - but| كذبوا - they denied.| فأخذناهم - So We seized them| بما - for what| كانوا - they used to| يكسبون - earn.| | ||||||
| 4 [7:97] | Afaamina ahlu alqura an ya/tiyahumba/suna bayatan wahum na-imoona | أفأمن أهل القرى أن يأتيهم بأسنا بياتا وهم نائمون أَفَأَمِنَ أَهْلُ الْقُرَى أَن يَأْتِيَهُمْ بَأْسُنَا بَيَاتاً وَهُمْ نَآئِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أفأمن - Then did feel secure| أهل - (the) people| القرى - (of) the cities| أن - that| يأتيهم - comes to them| بأسنا - Our punishment| بياتا - (at) night| وهم - while they| نائمون - (were) asleep?| | ||||||
| 5 [7:98] | Awa amina ahlu alqura an ya/tiyahumba/suna duhan wahum yalAAaboona | أوأمن أهل القرى أن يأتيهم بأسنا ضحى وهم يلعبون أَوَ أَمِنَ أَهْلُ الْقُرَى أَن يَأْتِيَهُمْ بَأْسُنَا ضُحًى وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أوأمن - Or felt secure| أهل - (the) people| القرى - (of) the cities| أن - that| يأتيهم - comes to them| بأسنا - Our punishment| ضحى - (in) daylight| وهم - while they| يلعبون - (were) playing?| | ||||||
| 6 [7:101] | Tilka alqura naqussu AAalaykamin anba-iha walaqad jaat-hum rusuluhum bialbayyinatifama kanoo liyu/minoo bima kaththaboomin qablu kathalika yatbaAAu Allahu AAalaquloobi alkafireena | تلك القرى نقص عليك من أنبائها ولقد جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات فما كانوا ليؤمنوا بما كذبوا من قبل كذلك يطبع الله على قلوب الكافرين تِلْكَ الْقُرَى نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنبَآئِهَا وَلَقَدْ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُواْ بِمَا كَذَّبُواْ مِن قَبْلُ كَذَلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِ الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |تلك - These| القرى - (were) the cities -| نقص - We relate| عليك - to you| من - of| أنبائها - their news.| ولقد - And certainly| جاءتهم - came to them| رسلهم - their Messengers| بالبينات - with clear proofs,| فما - but not| كانوا - they were| ليؤمنوا - to believe| بما - in what| كذبوا - they (had) denied| من - from| قبل - before.| كذلك - Thus| يطبع - (has been) put a seal| الله - (by) Allah| على - on| قلوب - (the) hearts| الكافرين - (of) the disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 7 [11:100] | Thalika min anba-i alquranaqussuhu AAalayka minha qa-imun wahaseedun | ذلك من أنباء القرى نقصه عليك منها قائم وحصيد ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَنبَاءِ الْقُرَى نَقُصُّهُ عَلَيْكَ مِنْهَا قَآئِمٌ وَحَصِيدٌ | |||||
| Words | |ذلك - That| من - (is) from| أنباء - (the) news| القرى - (of) the cities| نقصه - (which) We relate| عليك - to you;| منها - of them,| قائم - some are standing| وحصيد - and (some) mown.| | ||||||
| 8 [11:102] | Wakathalika akhthu rabbika ithaakhatha alqura wahiya thalimatuninna akhthahu aleemun shadeedun | وكذلك أخذ ربك إذا أخذ القرى وهي ظالمة إن أخذه أليم شديد وَكَذَلِكَ أَخْذُ رَبِّكَ إِذَا أَخَذَ الْقُرَى وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٌ إِنَّ أَخْذَهُ أَلِيمٌ شَدِيدٌ | |||||
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| أخذ - (is) the seizure (of) your Lord| ربك - (is) the seizure (of) your Lord| إذا - when| أخذ - He seizes| القرى - the cities| وهي - while they| ظالمة - (are) doing wrong.| إن - Indeed,| أخذه - His seizure| أليم - (is) painful,| شديد - (and) severe.| | ||||||
| 9 [11:117] | Wama kana rabbuka liyuhlikaalqura bithulmin waahluha muslihoona | وما كان ربك ليهلك القرى بظلم وأهلها مصلحون وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ لِيُهْلِكَ الْقُرَى بِظُلْمٍ وَأَهْلُهَا مُصْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - would| ربك - your Lord,| ليهلك - destroy| القرى - the cities| بظلم - unjustly| وأهلها - while its people| مصلحون - (were) reformers.| | ||||||
| 10 [12:109] | Wama arsalna min qablika illarijalan noohee ilayhim min ahli alquraafalam yaseeroo fee al-ardi fayanthurookayfa kana AAaqibatu allatheena min qablihimwaladaru al-akhirati khayrun lillatheenaittaqaw afala taAAqiloona | وما أرسلنا من قبلك إلا رجالا نوحي إليهم من أهل القرى أفلم يسيروا في الأرض فينظروا كيف كان عاقبة الذين من قبلهم ولدار الآخرة خير للذين اتقوا أفلا تعقلون وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ إِلاَّ رِجَالاً نُّوحِي إِلَيْهِم مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْقُرَى أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُواْ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَدَارُ الْآخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ اتَّقَواْ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| أرسلنا - We sent| من - before you,| قبلك - before you,| إلا - but| رجالا - men| نوحي - We revealed| إليهم - to them| من - from (among)| أهل - (the) people| القرى - (of) the townships.| أفلم - So have not| يسيروا - they traveled| في - in| الأرض - the earth| فينظروا - and seen| كيف - how| كان - was| عاقبة - (the) end| الذين - (of) those who| من - (were) before them?| قبلهم - (were) before them?| ولدار - And surely the home| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter| خير - (is) best| للذين - for those who| اتقوا - fear Allah.| أفلا - Then will not| تعقلون - you use reason?| | ||||||
| 11 [18:59] | Watilka alqura ahlaknahum lammathalamoo wajaAAalna limahlikihim mawAAidan | وتلك القرى أهلكناهم لما ظلموا وجعلنا لمهلكهم موعدا وَتِلْكَ الْقُرَى أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُوا وَجَعَلْنَا لِمَهْلِكِهِم مَّوْعِدًا | |||||
| Words | |وتلك - And these| القرى - [the] towns,| أهلكناهم - We destroyed them| لما - when| ظلموا - they wronged,| وجعلنا - and We made| لمهلكهم - for their destruction| موعدا - an appointed time.| | ||||||
| 12 [28:59] | Wama kana rabbuka muhlikaalqura hatta yabAAatha fee ommiharasoolan yatloo AAalayhim ayatina wamakunna muhlikee alqura illa waahluha thalimoona | وما كان ربك مهلك القرى حتى يبعث في أمها رسولا يتلو عليهم آياتنا وما كنا مهلكي القرى إلا وأهلها ظالمون وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ مُهْلِكَ الْقُرَى حَتَّى يَبْعَثَ فِي أُمِّهَا رَسُولًا يَتْلُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِنَا وَمَا كُنَّا مُهْلِكِي الْقُرَى إِلَّا وَأَهْلُهَا ظَالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - was| ربك - your Lord| مهلك - (the) one to destroy| القرى - the towns| حتى - until| يبعث - He (had) sent| في - in| أمها - their mother (town)| رسولا - a Messenger| يتلو - reciting| عليهم - to them| آياتنا - Our Verses.| وما - And not| كنا - We would be| مهلكي - (the) one to destroy| القرى - the towns| إلا - except| وأهلها - while their people| ظالمون - (were) wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 13 [34:18] | WajaAAalna baynahum wabayna alquraallatee barakna feeha quran thahiratanwaqaddarna feeha alssayra seeroo feehalayaliya waayyaman amineena | وجعلنا بينهم وبين القرى التي باركنا فيها قرى ظاهرة وقدرنا فيها السير سيروا فيها ليالي وأياما آمنين وَجَعَلْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ الْقُرَى الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيهَا قُرًى ظَاهِرَةً وَقَدَّرْنَا فِيهَا السَّيْرَ سِيرُوا فِيهَا لَيَالِيَ وَأَيَّامًا آمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وجعلنا - And We made| بينهم - between them| وبين - and between| القرى - the towns| التي - which| باركنا - We had blessed| فيها - in it| قرى - towns| ظاهرة - visible.| وقدرنا - And We determined| فيها - between them| السير - the journey.| سيروا - "Travel| فيها - between them| ليالي - (by) night| وأياما - and (by) day| آمنين - safely."| | ||||||
| 14 [42:7] | Wakathalika awhaynailayka qur-anan AAarabiyyan litunthira omma alqurawaman hawlaha watunthira yawma aljamAAi larayba feehi fareequn fee aljannati wafareequn fee alssaAAeeri | وكذلك أوحينا إليك قرآنا عربيا لتنذر أم القرى ومن حولها وتنذر يوم الجمع لا ريب فيه فريق في الجنة وفريق في السعير وَكَذَلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لِّتُنذِرَ أُمَّ الْقُرَى وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَتُنذِرَ يَوْمَ الْجَمْعِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ فَرِيقٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَفَرِيقٌ فِي السَّعِيرِ | |||||
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| أوحينا - We have revealed| إليك - to you| قرآنا - a Quran| عربيا - (in) Arabic,| لتنذر - that you may warn| أم - (the) mother| القرى - (of) the towns,| ومن - and whoever| حولها - (is) around it,| وتنذر - and warn| يوم - (of the) Day| الجمع - (of) Assembly,| لا - (there is) no| ريب - doubt| فيه - in it.| فريق - A party| في - (will be) in| الجنة - Paradise| وفريق - and a party| في - in| السعير - the Blazing Fire.| | ||||||
| 15 [46:27] | Walaqad ahlakna ma hawlakummina alqura wasarrafna al-ayatilaAAallahum yarjiAAoona | ولقد أهلكنا ما حولكم من القرى وصرفنا الآيات لعلهم يرجعون وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا مَا حَوْلَكُم مِّنَ الْقُرَى وَصَرَّفْنَا الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| أهلكنا - We destroyed| ما - what| حولكم - surrounds you| من - of| القرى - the towns,| وصرفنا - and We have diversified| الآيات - the Signs,| لعلهم - that they may| يرجعون - return.| | ||||||
| 16 [59:7] | Ma afaa Allahu AAalarasoolihi min ahli alqura falillahi walilrrasooliwalithee alqurba waalyatama waalmasakeeniwaibni alssabeeli kay la yakoona doolatanbayna al-aghniya-i minkum wama atakumualrrasoolu fakhuthoohu wama nahakumAAanhu faintahoo waittaqoo Allaha inna Allahashadeedu alAAiqabi | ما أفاء الله على رسوله من أهل القرى فلله وللرسول ولذي القربى واليتامى والمساكين وابن السبيل كي لا يكون دولة بين الأغنياء منكم وما آتاكم الرسول فخذوه وما نهاكم عنه فانتهوا واتقوا الله إن الله شديد العقاب مَّا أَفَاءَ اللَّهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْقُرَى فَلِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ كَيْ لَا يَكُونَ دُولَةً بَيْنَ الْأَغْنِيَاءِ مِنكُمْ وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانتَهُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ | |||||
| Words | |ما - What| أفاء - (was) restored| الله - (by) Allah| على - to| رسوله - His Messenger| من - from| أهل - (the) people| القرى - (of) the towns,| فلله - (it is) for Allah| وللرسول - and His Messenger| ولذي - and for those| القربى - (of) the kindred| واليتامى - and the orphans| والمساكين - and the needy| وابن - and| السبيل - the wayfarer,| كي - that| لا - not| يكون - it becomes| دولة - a (perpetual) circulation| بين - between| الأغنياء - the rich| منكم - among you.| وما - And whatever| آتاكم - gives you| الرسول - the Messenger,| فخذوه - take it| وما - and whatever| نهاكم - he forbids you| عنه - from it,| فانتهوا - refrain.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| شديد - (is) severe| العقاب - (in) penalty.| | ||||||
