| 1 [10:31] | Qul man yarzuqukum mina alssama-iwaal-ardi amman yamliku alssamAAa waal-absarawaman yukhriju alhayya mina almayyiti wayukhriju almayyitamina alhayyi waman yudabbiru al-amra fasayaqooloona Allahufaqul afala tattaqoona |  قل من يرزقكم من السماء والأرض أمن يملك السمع والأبصار ومن يخرج الحي من الميت ويخرج الميت من الحي ومن يدبر الأمر فسيقولون الله فقل أفلا تتقونقُلْ مَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَمَّن يَمْلِكُ السَّمْعَ والْأَبْصَارَ وَمَن يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَيُخْرِجُ الْمَيَّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَمَن يُدَبِّرُ الْأَمْرَ فَسَيَقُولُونَ اللّهُ فَقُلْ أَفَلاَ تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| من - "Who| يرزقكم - provides for you| من - from| السماء - the sky| والأرض - and the earth?| أمن - Or who| يملك - controls| السمع - the hearing| والأبصار - and the sight?| ومن - And who| يخرج - brings out| الحي - the living| من - from| الميت - the dead,| ويخرج - and brings forth| الميت - the dead| من - from| الحي - the living?| ومن - And who| يدبر - disposes| الأمر - the affairs?"| فسيقولون - Then they will say,| الله - "Allah."| فقل - Then say,| أفلا - "Then will not| تتقون - you fear (Him)?"| | ||||||
| 2 [11:20] | Ola-ika lam yakoonoo muAAjizeena feeal-ardi wama kana lahum min dooni Allahimin awliyaa yudaAAafu lahumu alAAathabu makanoo yastateeAAoona alssamAAa wama kanooyubsiroona | أولئك لم يكونوا معجزين في الأرض وما كان لهم من دون الله من أولياء يضاعف لهم العذاب ما كانوا يستطيعون السمع وما كانوا يبصرون أُولَـئِكَ لَمْ يَكُونُواْ مُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ يُضَاعَفُ لَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مَا كَانُواْ يَسْتَطِيعُونَ السَّمْعَ وَمَا كَانُواْ يُبْصِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those| لم - not| يكونوا - will be| معجزين - (able to) escape| في - in| الأرض - the earth| وما - and not| كان - is| لهم - for them| من - besides| دون - besides| الله - Allah| من - any| أولياء - protectors.| يضاعف - And will be doubled| لهم - for them| العذاب - the punishment.| ما - Not| كانوا - they were| يستطيعون - able| السمع - (to) hear| وما - and not| كانوا - they used (to)| يبصرون - see.| | ||||||
| 3 [15:18] | Illa mani istaraqa alssamAAafaatbaAAahu shihabun mubeenun | إلا من استرق السمع فأتبعه شهاب مبين إِلاَّ مَنِ اسْتَرَقَ السَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |إلا - Except| من - (one) who| استرق - steals| السمع - the hearing,| فأتبعه - then follows him| شهاب - a burning flame| مبين - clear.| | ||||||
| 4 [16:78] | WaAllahu akhrajakum min butooniommahatikum la taAAlamoona shay-an wajaAAala lakumualssamAAa waal-absara waal-af-idatalaAAallakum tashkuroona | والله أخرجكم من بطون أمهاتكم لا تعلمون شيئا وجعل لكم السمع والأبصار والأفئدة لعلكم تشكرون وَاللّهُ أَخْرَجَكُم مِّن بُطُونِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْسَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والله - And Allah| أخرجكم - brought you forth| من - from| بطون - the wombs| أمهاتكم - (of) your mothers,| لا - not| تعلمون - knowing| شيئا - anything,| وجعل - and made| لكم - for you| السمع - the hearing| والأبصار - and the sight| والأفئدة - and the hearts| لعلكم - so that you may| تشكرون - give thanks.| | ||||||
| 5 [17:36] | Wala taqfu ma laysa laka bihiAAilmun inna alssamAAa waalbasara waalfu-adakullu ola-ika kana AAanhu mas-oolan | ولا تقف ما ليس لك به علم إن السمع والبصر والفؤاد كل أولئك كان عنه مسئولا وَلاَ تَقْفُ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ إِنَّ السَّمْعَ وَالْبَصَرَ وَالْفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُولَـئِكَ كَانَ عَنْهُ مَسْؤُولاً | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تقف - pursue| ما - what| ليس - not| لك - you have| به - of it| علم - any knowledge.| إن - Indeed,| السمع - the hearing,| والبصر - and the sight,| والفؤاد - and the heart| كل - all| أولئك - those| كان - will be| عنه - [about it]| مسئولا - questioned.| | ||||||
| 6 [23:78] | Wahuwa allathee anshaa lakumu alssamAAawaal-absara waal-af-idata qaleelan matashkuroona | وهو الذي أنشأ لكم السمع والأبصار والأفئدة قليلا ما تشكرون وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَنشَأَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وهو - And He| الذي - (is) the One Who| أنشأ - produced| لكم - for you| السمع - the hearing| والأبصار - and the sight| والأفئدة - and the feeling;| قليلا - little| ما - (is) what| تشكرون - you give thanks.| | ||||||
| 7 [26:212] | Innahum AAani alssamAAilamaAAzooloona | إنهم عن السمع لمعزولون إِنَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّمْعِ لَمَعْزُولُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنهم - Indeed, they| عن - from| السمع - the hearing| لمعزولون - (are) surely banished.| | ||||||
| 8 [26:223] | Yulqoona alssamAAa waaktharuhum kathiboona | يلقون السمع وأكثرهم كاذبون يُلْقُونَ السَّمْعَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ كَاذِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يلقون - They pass on| السمع - (what is) heard,| وأكثرهم - and most of them| كاذبون - (are) liars.| | ||||||
| 9 [32:9] | Thumma sawwahu wanafakha feehi min roohihiwajaAAala lakumu alssamAAa waal-absara waal-af-idataqaleelan ma tashkuroona | ثم سواه ونفخ فيه من روحه وجعل لكم السمع والأبصار والأفئدة قليلا ما تشكرون ثُمَّ سَوَّاهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِهِ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||

| 10 [50:37] | Inna fee thalika lathikraliman kana lahu qalbun aw alqa alssamAAawahuwa shaheedun | إن في ذلك لذكرى لمن كان له قلب أو ألقى السمع وهو شهيد إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَذِكْرَى لِمَن كَانَ لَهُ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى السَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لذكرى - surely, is a reminder| لمن - for (one) who,| كان - is -| له - for him| قلب - a heart| أو - or| ألقى - (who) gives ear| السمع - (who) gives ear| وهو - while he| شهيد - (is) a witness.| | ||||||
| 11 [67:23] | Qul huwa allathee anshaakum wajaAAalalakumu alssamAAa waal-absara waal-af-idataqaleelan ma tashkuroona | قل هو الذي أنشأكم وجعل لكم السمع والأبصار والأفئدة قليلا ما تشكرون قُلْ هُوَ الَّذِي أَنشَأَكُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
