| 1 [2:64] | Thumma tawallaytum min baAAdi thalikafalawla fadlu Allahi AAalaykum warahmatuhulakuntum mina alkhasireena |  ثم توليتم من بعد ذلك فلولا فضل الله عليكم ورحمته لكنتم من الخاسرينثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُم مِّنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ فَلَوْلاَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ لَكُـنْـتُم مِّنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| توليتم - you turned away| من - from| بعد - after| ذلك - that.| فلولا - So if not| فضل - (for the) Grace| الله - (of) Allah| عليكم - upon you| ورحمته - and His Mercy,| لكنتم - surely you would have been| من - of| الخاسرين - the losers.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:85] | Waman yabtaghi ghayra al-islamideenan falan yuqbala minhu wahuwa fee al-akhirati minaalkhasireena | ومن يبتغ غير الإسلام دينا فلن يقبل منه وهو في الآخرة من الخاسرين وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يبتغ - seeks| غير - other than| الإسلام - [the] Islam| دينا - (as) religion| فلن - then never| يقبل - will be accepted| منه - from him,| وهو - and he| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter,| من - (will be) from| الخاسرين - the losers.| | ||||||
| 3 [5:5] | Alyawma ohilla lakumu alttayyibatuwataAAamu allatheena ootoo alkitaba hillunlakum wataAAamukum hillun lahum waalmuhsanatumina almu/minati waalmuhsanatu minaallatheena ootoo alkitaba min qablikum itha ataytumoohunnaojoorahunna muhsineena ghayra musafiheenawala muttakhithee akhdanin waman yakfur bial-eemanifaqad habita AAamaluhu wahuwa fee al-akhiratimina alkhasireena | اليوم أحل لكم الطيبات وطعام الذين أوتوا الكتاب حل لكم وطعامكم حل لهم والمحصنات من المؤمنات والمحصنات من الذين أوتوا الكتاب من قبلكم إذا آتيتموهن أجورهن محصنين غير مسافحين ولا متخذي أخدان ومن يكفر بالإيمان فقد حبط عمله وهو في الآخرة من الخاسرين الْيَوْمَ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ وَطَعَامُ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ حِلٌّ لَّكُمْ وَطَعَامُكُمْ حِلٌّ لَّهُمْ وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ إِذَا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ مُحْصِنِينَ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحِينَ وَلاَ مُتَّخِذِي أَخْدَانٍ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِالْإِيمَانِ فَقَدْ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |اليوم - This day| أحل - are made lawful| لكم - for you| الطيبات - the good things;| وطعام - and (the) food| الذين - (of) those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Book| حل - (is) lawful| لكم - for you,| وطعامكم - and your food| حل - (is) lawful| لهم - for them.| والمحصنات - And the chaste women| من - from| المؤمنات - the believers| والمحصنات - and the chaste women| من - from| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Book| من - from| قبلكم - before you,| إذا - when| آتيتموهن - you have given them| أجورهن - their bridal due,| محصنين - being chaste| غير - not| مسافحين - being lewd| ولا - and not| متخذي - ones (who are) taking| أخدان - secret lovers.| ومن - And whoever| يكفر - denies| بالإيمان - the faith -| فقد - then surely| حبط - (are) wasted| عمله - his deeds| وهو - and he,| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter,| من - (will be) among| الخاسرين - the losers.| | ||||||
| 4 [5:30] | FatawwaAAat lahu nafsuhu qatlaakheehi faqatalahu faasbaha mina alkhasireena | فطوعت له نفسه قتل أخيه فقتله فأصبح من الخاسرين فَطَوَّعَتْ لَهُ نَفْسُهُ قَتْلَ أَخِيهِ فَقَتَلَهُ فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فطوعت - Then prompted| له - to him| نفسه - his soul| قتل - (to) kill| أخيه - his brother,| فقتله - so he killed him| فأصبح - and became| من - of| الخاسرين - the losers.| | ||||||
| 5 [7:23] | Qala rabbana thalamnaanfusana wa-in lam taghfir lana watarhamnalanakoonanna mina alkhasireena | قالا ربنا ظلمنا أنفسنا وإن لم تغفر لنا وترحمنا لنكونن من الخاسرين قَالاَ رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قالا - Both of them said,| ربنا - "Our Lord| ظلمنا - we have wronged| أنفسنا - ourselves,| وإن - and if| لم - not| تغفر - You forgive| لنا - [for] us| وترحمنا - and have mercy (on) us,| لنكونن - surely, we will be| من - among| الخاسرين - the losers."| | ||||||
| 6 [7:92] | Allatheena kaththabooshuAAayban kaan lam yaghnaw feeha allatheena kaththabooshuAAayban kanoo humu alkhasireena | الذين كذبوا شعيبا كأن لم يغنوا فيها الذين كذبوا شعيبا كانوا هم الخاسرين الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ شُعَيْبًا كَأَن لَّمْ يَغْنَوْاْ فِيهَا الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ شُعَيْبًا كَانُواْ هُمُ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| كذبوا - denied| شعيبا - Shuaib| كأن - (became) as if| لم - not| يغنوا - they (had) lived| فيها - therein.| الذين - Those who| كذبوا - denied| شعيبا - Shuaib,| كانوا - they were| هم - them| الخاسرين - the losers.| | ||||||
| 7 [7:149] | Walamma suqita fee aydeehimwaraaw annahum qad dalloo qaloo la-in lam yarhamnarabbuna wayaghfir lana lanakoonanna mina alkhasireena | ولما سقط في أيديهم ورأوا أنهم قد ضلوا قالوا لئن لم يرحمنا ربنا ويغفر لنا لنكونن من الخاسرين وَلَمَّا سُقِطَ فَي أَيْدِيهِمْ وَرَأَوْاْ أَنَّهُمْ قَدْ ضَلُّواْ قَالُواْ لَئِن لَّمْ يَرْحَمْنَا رَبُّنَا وَيَغْفِرْ لَنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| سقط - (it was made to) fall| في - into| أيديهم - their hands| ورأوا - and they saw| أنهم - that they| قد - (had) indeed| ضلوا - gone astray,| قالوا - they said,| لئن - "If| لم - not| يرحمنا - has Mercy on us,| ربنا - Our Lord,| ويغفر - and forgive| لنا - [for] us,| لنكونن - we will surely be| من - among| الخاسرين - the losers."| | ||||||
| 8 [10:95] | Wala takoonanna mina allatheenakaththaboo bi-ayati Allahi fatakoonamina alkhasireena | ولا تكونن من الذين كذبوا بآيات الله فتكون من الخاسرين وَلاَ تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِ اللّهِ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تكونن - be| من - of| الذين - those who| كذبوا - deny| بآيات - (the) Signs of Allah,| الله - (the) Signs of Allah,| فتكون - then you will be| من - among| الخاسرين - the losers.| | ||||||
| 9 [11:47] | Qala rabbi innee aAAoothu bikaan as-alaka ma laysa lee bihi AAilmun wa-illataghfir lee watarhamnee akun mina alkhasireena | قال رب إني أعوذ بك أن أسألك ما ليس لي به علم وإلا تغفر لي وترحمني أكن من الخاسرين قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَسْأَلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِهِ عِلْمٌ وَإِلاَّ تَغْفِرْ لِي وَتَرْحَمْنِي أَكُن مِّنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| رب - "O my Lord!| إني - Indeed, I| أعوذ - seek refuge| بك - in You,| أن - that| أسألك - I (should) ask You| ما - what| ليس - not| لي - I have| به - of it| علم - knowledge.| وإلا - And unless| تغفر - You forgive| لي - me| وترحمني - and You have mercy on me,| أكن - I will be| من - among| الخاسرين - the losers."| | ||||||
| 10 [39:15] | FaoAAbudoo ma shi/tum mindoonihi qul inna alkhasireena allatheena khasirooanfusahum waahleehim yawma alqiyamati ala thalikahuwa alkhusranu almubeenu | فاعبدوا ما شئتم من دونه قل إن الخاسرين الذين خسروا أنفسهم وأهليهم يوم القيامة ألا ذلك هو الخسران المبين فَاعْبُدُوا مَا شِئْتُم مِّن دُونِهِ قُلْ إِنَّ الْخَاسِرِينَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَهْلِيهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَلَا ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْخُسْرَانُ الْمُبِينُ | |||||
| Words | |فاعبدوا - So worship| ما - what| شئتم - you will| من - besides Him."| دونه - besides Him."| قل - Say,| إن - "Indeed,| الخاسرين - the losers| الذين - (are) those who| خسروا - (will) lose| أنفسهم - themselves| وأهليهم - and their families| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection.| ألا - Unquestionably,| ذلك - that -| هو - it| الخسران - (is) the loss| المبين - the clear."| | ||||||
| 11 [39:65] | Walaqad oohiya ilayka wa-ilaallatheena min qablika la-in ashrakta layahbatannaAAamaluka walatakoonanna mina alkhasireena | ولقد أوحي إليك وإلى الذين من قبلك لئن أشركت ليحبطن عملك ولتكونن من الخاسرين وَلَقَدْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ لَئِنْ أَشْرَكْتَ لَيَحْبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| أوحي - it has been revealed| إليك - to you| وإلى - and to| الذين - those who| من - (were) before you,| قبلك - (were) before you,| لئن - if| أشركت - you associate (with Allah)| ليحبطن - surely, will become worthless| عملك - your deeds| ولتكونن - and you will surely be| من - among| الخاسرين - the losers.| | ||||||
| 12 [41:23] | Wathalikum thannukumuallathee thanantum birabbikum ardakumfaasbahtum mina alkhasireena | وذلكم ظنكم الذي ظننتم بربكم أرداكم فأصبحتم من الخاسرين وَذَلِكُمْ ظَنُّكُمُ الَّذِي ظَنَنتُم بِرَبِّكُمْ أَرْدَاكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم مِّنْ الْخَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وذلكم - And that| ظنكم - (was) your assumption| الذي - which| ظننتم - you assumed| بربكم - about your Lord.| أرداكم - It has ruined you,| فأصبحتم - and you have become| من - of| الخاسرين - the losers.| | ||||||
| 13 [42:45] | Watarahum yuAAradoona AAalayhakhashiAAeena mina alththulli yanthuroonamin tarfin khafiyyin waqala allatheena amanooinna alkhasireena allatheena khasiroo anfusahumwaahleehim yawma alqiyamati ala inna alththalimeenafee AAathabin muqeemin | وتراهم يعرضون عليها خاشعين من الذل ينظرون من طرف خفي وقال الذين آمنوا إن الخاسرين الذين خسروا أنفسهم وأهليهم يوم القيامة ألا إن الظالمين في عذاب مقيم وَتَرَاهُمْ يُعْرَضُونَ عَلَيْهَا خَاشِعِينَ مِنَ الذُّلِّ يَنظُرُونَ مِن طَرْفٍ خَفِيٍّ وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ الْخَاسِرِينَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَهْلِيهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَلَا إِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ فِي عَذَابٍ مُّقِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |وتراهم - And you will see them| يعرضون - being exposed| عليها - to it,| خاشعين - humbled| من - by| الذل - disgrace,| ينظرون - looking| من - with| طرف - a glance| خفي - stealthy.| وقال - And will say| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believed,| إن - "Indeed,| الخاسرين - the losers| الذين - (are) those who| خسروا - lost| أنفسهم - themselves| وأهليهم - and their families| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection.| ألا - Unquestionably!| إن - Indeed,| الظالمين - the wrongdoers| في - (are) in| عذاب - a punishment| مقيم - lasting.| | ||||||
