| 1 [2:36] | Faazallahuma alshshaytanuAAanha faakhrajahuma mimma kanafeehi waqulna ihbitoo baAAdukum libaAAdinAAaduwwun walakum fee al-ardi mustaqarrun wamataAAunila heenin |  فأزلهما الشيطان عنها فأخرجهما مما كانا فيه وقلنا اهبطوا بعضكم لبعض عدو ولكم في الأرض مستقر ومتاع إلى حينفَأَزَلَّهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ عَنْهَا فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيهِ وَقُلْنَا اهْبِطُواْ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ وَّلَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّ وَّمَتَاعٌ إِلَى حِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |فأزلهما - Then made [both of] them slip| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| عنها - from it,| فأخرجهما - and he got [both of] them out| مما - from what| كانا - they [both] were| فيه - in [it].| وقلنا - And We said,| اهبطوا - "Go down (all of you),| بعضكم - some of you| لبعض - to others| عدو - (as) enemy;| ولكم - and for you| في - in| الأرض - the earth| مستقر - (is) a dwelling place| ومتاع - and a provision| إلى - for| حين - a period."| | ||||||
| 2 [5:101] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tas-aloo AAan ashyaa in tubda lakum tasu/kumwa-in tas-aloo AAanha heena yunazzalu alqur-anutubda lakum AAafa Allahu AAanha waAllahughafoorun haleemun | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تسألوا عن أشياء إن تبد لكم تسؤكم وإن تسألوا عنها حين ينزل القرآن تبد لكم عفا الله عنها والله غفور حليم يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَسْأَلُواْ عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ إِن تُبْدَ لَكُمْ تَسُؤْكُمْ وَإِن تَسْأَلُواْ عَنْهَا حِينَ يُنَزَّلُ الْقُرْآنُ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ عَفَا اللّهُ عَنْهَا وَاللّهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| لا - (Do) not| تسألوا - ask| عن - about| أشياء - things| إن - if| تبد - made clear| لكم - to you,| تسؤكم - it may distress you| وإن - and if| تسألوا - you ask| عنها - about it| حين - when| ينزل - is being revealed| القرآن - the Quran| تبد - it would be made clear| لكم - to you.| عفا - has (been) pardoned| الله - (by) Allah| عنها - [about] it,| والله - and Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| حليم - All-Forbearing.| | ||||||
| 3 [5:106] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooshahadatu baynikum itha hadara ahadakumualmawtu heena alwasiyyati ithnani thawaAAadlin minkum aw akharani min ghayrikum in antum darabtumfee al-ardi faasabatkum museebatu almawti tahbisoonahumamin baAAdi alssalati fayuqsimani biAllahiini irtabtum la nashtaree bihi thamanan walaw kana thaqurba wala naktumu shahadata Allahiinna ithan lamina al-athimeena | يا أيها الذين آمنوا شهادة بينكم إذا حضر أحدكم الموت حين الوصية اثنان ذوا عدل منكم أو آخران من غيركم إن أنتم ضربتم في الأرض فأصابتكم مصيبة الموت تحبسونهما من بعد الصلاة فيقسمان بالله إن ارتبتم لا نشتري به ثمنا ولو كان ذا قربى ولا نكتم شهادة الله إنا إذا لمن الآثمين يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ شَهَادَةُ بَيْنِكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ حِينَ الْوَصِيَّةِ اثْنَانِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِّنكُمْ أَوْ آخَرَانِ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ إِنْ أَنتُمْ ضَرَبْتُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَأَصَابَتْكُم مُّصِيبَةُ الْمَوْتِ تَحْبِسُونَهُمَا مِن بَعْدِ الصَّلاَةِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِاللّهِ إِنِ ارْتَبْتُمْ لاَ نَشْتَرِي بِهِ ثَمَنًا وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَى وَلاَ نَكْتُمُ شَهَادَةَ اللّهِ إِنَّا إِذًا لَّمِنَ الْآثِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| شهادة - (Take) testimony| بينكم - among you| إذا - when| حضر - approaches| أحدكم - one of you| الموت - [the] death,| حين - (at the) time (of making)| الوصية - [the] a will| اثنان - two| ذوا - men,| عدل - just,| منكم - among you,| أو - or| آخران - two others| من - from| غيركم - other than you| إن - if| أنتم - You| ضربتم - (are) travel(ing)| في - in| الأرض - the earth| فأصابتكم - then befalls you| مصيبة - calamity| الموت - (of) [the] death.| تحبسونهما - Detain both of them| من - from| بعد - after| الصلاة - the prayer| فيقسمان - and let them both swear| بالله - by Allah| إن - if| ارتبتم - you doubt,| لا - "Not| نشتري - we will exchange| به - it for| ثمنا - a price| ولو - even if| كان - he is| ذا - (of)| قربى - a near relative,| ولا - and not| نكتم - we will conceal| شهادة - testimony| الله - (of) Allah.| إنا - Indeed, we| إذا - then| لمن - (will) surely (be) of| الآثمين - the sinners."| | ||||||
| 4 [7:24] | Qala ihbitoo baAAdukumlibaAAdin AAaduwwun walakum fee al-ardi mustaqarrunwamataAAun ila heenin | قال اهبطوا بعضكم لبعض عدو ولكم في الأرض مستقر ومتاع إلى حين قَالَ اهْبِطُواْ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ وَلَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّ وَمَتَاعٌ إِلَى حِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |قال - (Allah) said,| اهبطوا - "Get down| بعضكم - some of you| لبعض - to some others| عدو - (as) enemy.| ولكم - And for you| في - in| الأرض - the earth| مستقر - (is) a dwelling place| ومتاع - and livelihood| إلى - for| حين - a time."| | ||||||
| 5 [10:98] | Falawla kanat qaryatun amanatfanafaAAaha eemanuha illa qawmayoonusa lamma amanoo kashafna AAanhum AAathabaalkhizyi fee alhayati alddunyawamattaAAnahum ila heenin | فلولا كانت قرية آمنت فنفعها إيمانها إلا قوم يونس لما آمنوا كشفنا عنهم عذاب الخزي في الحياة الدنيا ومتعناهم إلى حين فَلَوْلاَ كَانَتْ قَرْيَةٌ آمَنَتْ فَنَفَعَهَا إِيمَانُهَا إِلاَّ قَوْمَ يُونُسَ لَمَّآ آمَنُواْ كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمْ عَذَابَ الْخِزْيِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَتَّعْنَاهُمْ إِلَى حِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |فلولا - So why not| كانت - was| قرية - any town| آمنت - that believed,| فنفعها - and benefited it| إيمانها - its faith,| إلا - except| قوم - the people| يونس - (of) Yunus?| لما - When| آمنوا - they believed,| كشفنا - We removed| عنهم - from them| عذاب - (the) punishment| الخزي - (of) the disgrace| في - in| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - of the world| ومتعناهم - and We granted them enjoyment| إلى - for| حين - a time.| | ||||||
| 6 [11:5] | Ala innahum yathnoona sudoorahumliyastakhfoo minhu ala heena yastaghshoona thiyabahumyaAAlamu ma yusirroona wama yuAAlinoona innahuAAaleemun bithati alssudoori | ألا إنهم يثنون صدورهم ليستخفوا منه ألا حين يستغشون ثيابهم يعلم ما يسرون وما يعلنون إنه عليم بذات الصدور أَلاَ إِنَّهُمْ يَثْنُونَ صُدُورَهُمْ لِيَسْتَخْفُواْ مِنْهُ أَلا حِينَ يَسْتَغْشُونَ ثِيَابَهُمْ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ | |||||
| Words | |ألا - No doubt!| إنهم - They| يثنون - fold up| صدورهم - their breasts| ليستخفوا - that they may hide| منه - from Him.| ألا - Surely,| حين - when| يستغشون - they cover (themselves)| ثيابهم - (with) their garments,| يعلم - He knows| ما - what| يسرون - they conceal| وما - and what| يعلنون - they reveal.| إنه - Indeed, He| عليم - (is) All-Knower| بذات - of what| الصدور - (is in) the breasts.| | ||||||
| 7 [12:35] | Thumma bada lahum min baAAdi maraawoo al-ayati layasjununnahu hatta heenin | ثم بدا لهم من بعد ما رأوا الآيات ليسجننه حتى حين ثُمَّ بَدَا لَهُم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا رَأَوُاْ الْآيَاتِ لَيَسْجُنُنَّهُ حَتَّى حِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| بدا - (it) appeared| لهم - to them| من - after| بعد - after| ما - [what]| رأوا - they had seen| الآيات - the signs,| ليسجننه - surely they should imprison him| حتى - until| حين - a time.| | ||||||
| 8 [14:25] | Tu/tee okulaha kulla heeninbi-ithni rabbiha wayadribu Allahual-amthala lilnnasi laAAallahum yatathakkaroona | تؤتي أكلها كل حين بإذن ربها ويضرب الله الأمثال للناس لعلهم يتذكرون تُؤْتِي أُكُلَهَا كُلَّ حِينٍ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهَا وَيَضْرِبُ اللّهُ الْأَمْثَالَ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |تؤتي - Giving| أكلها - its fruit| كل - all| حين - time| بإذن - by the permission| ربها - of its Lord.| ويضرب - And Allah sets forth| الله - And Allah sets forth| الأمثال - the examples| للناس - for mankind| لعلهم - so that they may| يتذكرون - remember.| | ||||||
| 9 [16:6] | Walakum feeha jamalun heenatureehoona waheena tasrahoona | ولكم فيها جمال حين تريحون وحين تسرحون وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا جَمَالٌ حِينَ تُرِيحُونَ وَحِينَ تَسْرَحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولكم - And for you| فيها - in them| جمال - (is) beauty| حين - when| تريحون - you bring them in| وحين - and when| تسرحون - you take them out.| | ||||||
| 10 [16:80] | WaAllahu jaAAala lakum minbuyootikum sakanan wajaAAala lakum min juloodi al-anAAamibuyootan tastakhiffoonaha yawma thaAAnikumwayawma iqamatikum wamin aswafihawaawbariha waashAAariha athathanwamataAAan ila heenin | والله جعل لكم من بيوتكم سكنا وجعل لكم من جلود الأنعام بيوتا تستخفونها يوم ظعنكم ويوم إقامتكم ومن أصوافها وأوبارها وأشعارها أثاثا ومتاعا إلى حين وَاللّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّن بُيُوتِكُمْ سَكَنًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّن جُلُودِ الْأَنْعَامِ بُيُوتًا تَسْتَخِفُّونَهَا يَوْمَ ظَعْنِكُمْ وَيَوْمَ إِقَامَتِكُمْ وَمِنْ أَصْوَافِهَا وَأَوْبَارِهَا وَأَشْعَارِهَا أَثَاثًا وَمَتَاعًا إِلَى حِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |والله - And Allah| جعل - (has) made| لكم - for you| من - [from]| بيوتكم - your homes| سكنا - a resting place,| وجعل - and made| لكم - for you| من - from| جلود - the hides| الأنعام - (of) the cattle| بيوتا - tents,| تستخفونها - which you find light| يوم - (on) the day| ظعنكم - (of) your travel| ويوم - and the day| إقامتكم - (of) your encampment;| ومن - and from| أصوافها - their wool| وأوبارها - and their fur| وأشعارها - and their hair| أثاثا - (is) furnishing| ومتاعا - and a provision| إلى - for| حين - a time.| | ||||||
| 11 [21:39] | Law yaAAlamu allatheena kafaroo heenala yakuffoona AAan wujoohihimu alnnara walaAAan thuhoorihim wala hum yunsaroona | لو يعلم الذين كفروا حين لا يكفون عن وجوههم النار ولا عن ظهورهم ولا هم ينصرون لَوْ يَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا حِينَ لَا يَكُفُّونَ عَن وُجُوهِهِمُ النَّارَ وَلَا عَن ظُهُورِهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لو - If| يعلم - knew| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| حين - (the) time| لا - (when) not| يكفون - they will avert| عن - from| وجوههم - their faces| النار - the Fire| ولا - and not| عن - from| ظهورهم - their backs| ولا - and not| هم - they| ينصرون - will be helped!| | ||||||
| 12 [21:111] | Wa-in adree laAAallahu fitnatun lakum wamataAAunila heenin | وإن أدري لعله فتنة لكم ومتاع إلى حين وَإِنْ أَدْرِي لَعَلَّهُ فِتْنَةٌ لَّكُمْ وَمَتَاعٌ إِلَى حِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And not| أدري - I know,| لعله - perhaps it may be| فتنة - a trial| لكم - for you,| ومتاع - and an enjoyment| إلى - for| حين - a time."| | ||||||
| 13 [23:25] | In huwa illa rajulun bihi jinnatunfatarabbasoo bihi hatta heenin | إن هو إلا رجل به جنة فتربصوا به حتى حين إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ بِهِ جِنَّةٌ فَتَرَبَّصُوا بِهِ حَتَّى حِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Not| هو - he| إلا - (is) but| رجل - a man| به - in him| جنة - (is) madness,| فتربصوا - so wait| به - concerning him| حتى - until| حين - a time."| | ||||||
| 14 [23:54] | Fatharhum fee ghamratihim hattaheenin | فذرهم في غمرتهم حتى حين فَذَرْهُمْ فِي غَمْرَتِهِمْ حَتَّى حِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |فذرهم - So leave them| في - in| غمرتهم - their confusion| حتى - until| حين - a time.| | ||||||
| 15 [25:42] | In kada layudillunaAAan alihatina lawla an sabarnaAAalayha wasawfa yaAAlamoona heena yarawna alAAathabaman adallu sabeelan | إن كاد ليضلنا عن آلهتنا لولا أن صبرنا عليها وسوف يعلمون حين يرون العذاب من أضل سبيلا إِن كَادَ لَيُضِلُّنَا عَنْ آلِهَتِنَا لَوْلَا أَن صَبَرْنَا عَلَيْهَا وَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ حِينَ يَرَوْنَ الْعَذَابَ مَنْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا | |||||
| Words | |إن - He would have almost| كاد - He would have almost| ليضلنا - [surely] misled us| عن - from| آلهتنا - our gods| لولا - if not| أن - that| صبرنا - we had been steadfast| عليها - to them."| وسوف - And soon| يعلمون - will know| حين - when| يرون - they will see| العذاب - the punishment,| من - who| أضل - (is) more astray| سبيلا - (from the) way.| | ||||||
| 16 [26:218] | Allathee yaraka heenataqoomu | الذي يراك حين تقوم الَّذِي يَرَاكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ | |||||

| 17 [28:15] | Wadakhala almadeenata AAala heenighaflatin min ahliha fawajada feeha rajulayniyaqtatilani hatha min sheeAAatihi wahathamin AAaduwwihi faistaghathahu allathee minsheeAAatihi AAala allathee min AAaduwwihifawakazahu moosa faqada AAalayhi qala hathamin AAamali alshshaytani innahu AAaduwwun mudillunmubeenun | ودخل المدينة على حين غفلة من أهلها فوجد فيها رجلين يقتتلان هذا من شيعته وهذا من عدوه فاستغاثه الذي من شيعته على الذي من عدوه فوكزه موسى فقضى عليه قال هذا من عمل الشيطان إنه عدو مضل مبين وَدَخَلَ الْمَدِينَةَ عَلَى حِينِ غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ أَهْلِهَا فَوَجَدَ فِيهَا رَجُلَيْنِ يَقْتَتِلَانِ هَذَا مِن شِيعَتِهِ وَهَذَا مِنْ عَدُوِّهِ فَاسْتَغَاثَهُ الَّذِي مِن شِيعَتِهِ عَلَى الَّذِي مِنْ عَدُوِّهِ فَوَكَزَهُ مُوسَى فَقَضَى عَلَيْهِ قَالَ هَذَا مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ عَدُوٌّ مُّضِلٌّ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |ودخل - And he entered| المدينة - the city| على - at| حين - a time| غفلة - (of) inattention| من - of| أهلها - its people| فوجد - and found| فيها - therein| رجلين - two men| يقتتلان - fighting each other;| هذا - this| من - of| شيعته - his party| وهذا - and this| من - of| عدوه - his enemy.| فاستغاثه - And called him for help| الذي - the one who| من - (was) from| شيعته - his party| على - against| الذي - the one who| من - (was) from| عدوه - his enemy,| فوكزه - so Musa struck him with his fist| موسى - so Musa struck him with his fist| فقضى - and killed him.| عليه - and killed him.| قال - He said,| هذا - "This (is)| من - of| عمل - (the) deed| الشيطان - (of) Shaitaan.| إنه - Indeed, he| عدو - (is) an enemy -| مضل - one who misleads| مبين - clearly."| | ||||||
| 18 [30:17] | Fasubhana Allahi heenatumsoona waheena tusbihoona | فسبحان الله حين تمسون وحين تصبحون فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فسبحان - So glory be to| الله - Allah| حين - when| تمسون - you reach the evening| وحين - and when| تصبحون - you reach the morning.| | ||||||
| 19 [36:44] | Illa rahmatan minnawamataAAan ila heenin | إلا رحمة منا ومتاعا إلى حين إِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَمَتَاعًا إِلَى حِينٍ | |||||

| 20 [37:148] | Faamanoo famattaAAnahum ilaheenin | فآمنوا فمتعناهم إلى حين فَآمَنُوا فَمَتَّعْنَاهُمْ إِلَى حِينٍ | |||||
