| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[38:40] | Wa-inna lahu AAindana lazulfawahusna maabin
|  وإن له عندنا لزلفى وحسن مآب
وَإِنَّ لَهُ عِندَنَا لَزُلْفَى وَحُسْنَ مَآبٍ |
| Words | |وإن - And indeed,| له - for him| عندنا - with Us| لزلفى - surely is a near access| وحسن - and a good| مآب - place of return.| |

| ለእርሱም እኛ ዘንድ መቅረብ፤ መልካም መመለሻም በእርግጥ አልለው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وإن له عندنا لزلفى وحسن مآب } تقدم مثله . |
| Ih, i neppa, $uône£, amkan n tu$alin aqôib, umâin. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | নিশ্চয় তার জন্যে আমার কাছে রয়েছে মর্যাদা ও শুভ পরিণতি। |
| Literal | And that (E) for him at Us (is) an approachment/degree/rank (E) and a good/beautiful return. |
| Yusuf Ali | And he enjoyed, indeed, a Near Approach to Us, and a beautiful Place of (Final) Return. |
| Pickthal | And lo! he hath favour with Us, and a happy journey's end. |
| Arberry | And he had a near place in Our presence and a fair resort. |
| Shakir | And most surely he had a nearness to Us and an excellent resort. |
