| 1 [3:191] | Allatheena yathkuroona Allahaqiyaman waquAAoodan waAAala junoobihimwayatafakkaroona fee khalqi alssamawati waal-ardirabbana ma khalaqta hatha batilan subhanakafaqina AAathaba alnnari |  الذين يذكرون الله قياما وقعودا وعلى جنوبهم ويتفكرون في خلق السماوات والأرض ربنا ما خلقت هذا باطلا سبحانك فقنا عذاب النارالَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَى جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَذَا بَاطِلاً سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| يذكرون - remember| الله - Allah| قياما - standing,| وقعودا - and sitting| وعلى - and on| جنوبهم - their sides| ويتفكرون - and they reflect| في - on| خلق - (the) creation| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| ربنا - "Our Lord,| ما - not| خلقت - You have created| هذا - this| باطلا - (in) vain.| سبحانك - Glory be to You,| فقنا - so save us| عذاب - (from the) punishment| النار - (of) the Fire.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:142] | Inna almunafiqeena yukhadiAAoonaAllaha wahuwa khadiAAuhum wa-itha qamooila alssalati qamoo kusalayuraoona alnnasa wala yathkuroonaAllaha illa qaleelan | إن المنافقين يخادعون الله وهو خادعهم وإذا قاموا إلى الصلاة قاموا كسالى يراءون الناس ولا يذكرون الله إلا قليلا إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ يُخَادِعُونَ اللّهَ وَهُوَ خَادِعُهُمْ وَإِذَا قَامُواْ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ قَامُواْ كُسَالَى يُرَآؤُونَ النَّاسَ وَلاَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللّهَ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| المنافقين - the hypocrites| يخادعون - (seek to) deceive| الله - Allah| وهو - and (it is) He| خادعهم - who deceives them.| وإذا - And when| قاموا - they stand| إلى - for| الصلاة - the prayer,| قاموا - they stand| كسالى - lazily,| يراءون - showing off| الناس - (to) the people| ولا - and not| يذكرون - they remember| الله - Allah| إلا - except| قليلا - a little.| | ||||||
| 3 [6:126] | Wahatha siratu rabbikamustaqeeman qad fassalna al-ayatiliqawmin yaththakkaroona | وهذا صراط ربك مستقيما قد فصلنا الآيات لقوم يذكرون وَهَـذَا صِرَاطُ رَبِّكَ مُسْتَقِيمًا قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَذَّكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وهذا - And this| صراط - (is the) way| ربك - (of) your Lord -| مستقيما - straight.| قد - Certainly| فصلنا - We have detailed| الآيات - the Verses| لقوم - for a people| يذكرون - who take heed.| | ||||||
| 4 [6:138] | Waqaloo hathihi anAAamunwaharthun hijrun la yatAAamuhailla man nashao bizaAAmihim waanAAamun hurrimatthuhooruha waanAAamun la yathkuroonaisma Allahi AAalayha iftiraan AAalayhisayajzeehim bima kanoo yaftaroona | وقالوا هذه أنعام وحرث حجر لا يطعمها إلا من نشاء بزعمهم وأنعام حرمت ظهورها وأنعام لا يذكرون اسم الله عليها افتراء عليه سيجزيهم بما كانوا يفترون وَقَالُواْ هَـذِهِ أَنْعَامٌ وَحَرْثٌ حِجْرٌ لاَّ يَطْعَمُهَا إِلاَّ مَن نَّشَاءُ بِزَعْمِهِمْ وَأَنْعَامٌ حُرِّمَتْ ظُهُورُهَا وَأَنْعَامٌ لاَّ يَذْكُرُونَ اسْمَ اللّهِ عَلَيْهَا افْتِرَاءً عَلَيْهِ سَيَجْزِيهِم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they say,| هذه - "These| أنعام - (are) cattle| وحرث - and crops,| حجر - forbidden,| لا - no (one)| يطعمها - can eat them| إلا - except| من - whom| نشاء - we will,"| بزعمهم - by their claim.| وأنعام - And cattle,| حرمت - forbidden| ظهورها - (are) their backs| وأنعام - and cattle| لا - not| يذكرون - they mention| اسم - (the) name| الله - (of) Allah| عليها - on it| افتراء - (as) an invention| عليه - against Him.| سيجزيهم - He will recompense them| بما - for what| كانوا - they used to| يفترون - invent.| | ||||||
| 5 [7:26] | Ya banee adama qad anzalnaAAalaykum libasan yuwaree saw-atikumwareeshan walibasu alttaqwa thalikakhayrun thalika min ayati AllahilaAAallahum yaththakkaroona | يا بني آدم قد أنزلنا عليكم لباسا يواري سوآتكم وريشا ولباس التقوى ذلك خير ذلك من آيات الله لعلهم يذكرون يَا بَنِي آدَمَ قَدْ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ لِبَاسًا يُوَارِي سَوْءَاتِكُمْ وَرِيشًا وَلِبَاسُ التَّقْوَى ذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ ذَلِكَ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللّهِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| بني - O Children| آدم - (of) Adam!| قد - Verily| أنزلنا - We have sent down| عليكم - to you| لباسا - clothing,| يواري - it covers| سوآتكم - your shame| وريشا - and (as) an adornment.| ولباس - But the clothing| التقوى - (of) [the] righteousness -| ذلك - that| خير - (is) best.| ذلك - That| من - (is) from| آيات - (the) Signs| الله - (of) Allah| لعلهم - so that they may| يذكرون - remember.| | ||||||
| 6 [7:130] | Walaqad akhathna alafirAAawna bialssineena wanaqsin mina alththamaratilaAAallahum yaththakkaroona | ولقد أخذنا آل فرعون بالسنين ونقص من الثمرات لعلهم يذكرون وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَا آلَ فِرْعَونَ بِالسِّنِينَ وَنَقْصٍ مِّن الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly,| أخذنا - We seized| آل - (the) people| فرعون - (of) Firaun| بالسنين - with years (of famine)| ونقص - and a deficit| من - of| الثمرات - [the] fruits,| لعلهم - so that they may| يذكرون - receive admonition.| | ||||||
| 7 [8:57] | Fa-imma tathqafannahum fee alharbifasharrid bihim man khalfahum laAAallahum yaththakkaroona | فإما تثقفنهم في الحرب فشرد بهم من خلفهم لعلهم يذكرون فَإِمَّا تَثْقَفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْحَرْبِ فَشَرِّدْ بِهِم مَّنْ خَلْفَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فإما - So if| تثقفنهم - you gain dominance over them| في - in| الحرب - the war,| فشرد - disperse| بهم - by them| من - (those) who| خلفهم - (are) behind them,| لعلهم - so that they may| يذكرون - take heed.| | ||||||
| 8 [9:126] | Awa la yarawna annahum yuftanoonafee kulli AAamin marratan aw marratayni thumma layatooboona wala hum yaththakkaroona | أولا يرون أنهم يفتنون في كل عام مرة أو مرتين ثم لا يتوبون ولا هم يذكرون أَوَلاَ يَرَوْنَ أَنَّهُمْ يُفْتَنُونَ فِي كُلِّ عَامٍ مَّرَّةً أَوْ مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ لاَ يَتُوبُونَ وَلاَ هُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أولا - Do not| يرون - they see| أنهم - that they| يفتنون - are tried| في - [in]| كل - every| عام - year| مرة - once| أو - or| مرتين - twice?| ثم - Yet| لا - not| يتوبون - they turn (in repentance),| ولا - and not| هم - they| يذكرون - pay heed.| | ||||||
| 9 [16:13] | Wama tharaa lakum fee al-ardimukhtalifan alwanuhu inna fee thalika laayatanliqawmin yaththakkaroona | وما ذرأ لكم في الأرض مختلفا ألوانه إن في ذلك لآية لقوم يذكرون وَمَا ذَرَأَ لَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَانُهُ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَذَّكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And whatever| ذرأ - He multiplied| لكم - for you| في - in| الأرض - the earth| مختلفا - (of) varying| ألوانه - colors.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآية - surely (is) a sign| لقوم - for a people| يذكرون - who remember.| | ||||||
| 10 [37:13] | Wa-itha thukkiroo la yathkuroona | وإذا ذكروا لا يذكرون وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُوا لَا يَذْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| ذكروا - they are reminded,| لا - not| يذكرون - they receive admonition.| | ||||||
| 11 [74:56] | Wama yathkuroona illaan yashaa Allahu huwa ahlu alttaqwawaahlu almaghfirati | وما يذكرون إلا أن يشاء الله هو أهل التقوى وأهل المغفرة وَمَا يَذْكُرُونَ إِلَّا أَن يَشَاءُ اللَّهُ هُوَ أَهْلُ التَّقْوَى وَأَهْلُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| يذكرون - will pay heed| إلا - except| أن - that| يشاء - wills| الله - Allah.| هو - He| أهل - (is) worthy| التقوى - to be feared,| وأهل - and worthy| المغفرة - to forgive.| | ||||||
