| 1 [4:77] | Alam tara ila allatheena qeelalahum kuffoo aydiyakum waaqeemoo alssalatawaatoo alzzakata falamma kutibaAAalayhimu alqitalu itha fareequn minhum yakhshawnaalnnasa kakhashyati Allahi aw ashaddakhashyatan waqaloo rabbana lima katabta AAalaynaalqitala lawla akhkhartana ila ajalinqareebin qul mataAAu alddunya qaleelun waal-akhiratukhayrun limani ittaqa wala tuthlamoonafateelan |  ألم تر إلى الذين قيل لهم كفوا أيديكم وأقيموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة فلما كتب عليهم القتال إذا فريق منهم يخشون الناس كخشية الله أو أشد خشية وقالوا ربنا لم كتبت علينا القتال لولا أخرتنا إلى أجل قريب قل متاع الدنيا قليل والآخرة خير لمن اتقى ولا تظلمون فتيلاأَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ قِيلَ لَهُمْ كُفُّواْ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَقِيمُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتُواْ الزَّكَاةَ فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقِتَالُ إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَخْشَوْنَ النَّاسَ كَخَشْيَةِ اللّهِ أَوْ أَشَدَّ خَشْيَةً وَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَا لِمَ كَتَبْتَ عَلَيْنَا الْقِتَالَ لَوْلاَ أَخَّرْتَنَا إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ قُلْ مَتَاعُ الدُّنْيَا قَلِيلٌ وَالْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِّمَنِ اتَّقَى وَلاَ تُظْلَمُونَ فَتِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Have not| تر - you seen| إلى - [towards]| الذين - those who| قيل - (when) it was said| لهم - to them,| كفوا - "Restrain| أيديكم - your hands| وأقيموا - and establish| الصلاة - the prayer| وآتوا - and give| الزكاة - the zakah?"| فلما - Then when| كتب - was ordained| عليهم - on them| القتال - the fighting,| إذا - then| فريق - a group| منهم - of them| يخشون - [they] fear| الناس - the people| كخشية - as (they) fear| الله - Allah| أو - or| أشد - more intense| خشية - fear,| وقالوا - and they said,| ربنا - "Our Lord| لم - why| كتبت - have You ordained| علينا - upon us| القتال - [the] fighting?| لولا - Why not| أخرتنا - You postpone (it for) us| إلى - to| أجل - a term,| قريب - near."| قل - Say,| متاع - "Enjoyment| الدنيا - (of) the world| قليل - (is) little| والآخرة - and the Hereafter| خير - (is) better| لمن - for whoever| اتقى - fears (Allah)| ولا - and not| تظلمون - you will be wronged| فتيلا - (even as much as) a hair on a date-seed."| | ||||||
| 2 [21:49] | Allatheena yakhshawna rabbahum bialghaybiwahum mina alssaAAati mushfiqoona | الذين يخشون ربهم بالغيب وهم من الساعة مشفقون الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَيْبِ وَهُم مِّنَ السَّاعَةِ مُشْفِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| يخشون - fear| ربهم - their Lord| بالغيب - in the unseen,| وهم - and they| من - of| الساعة - the Hour| مشفقون - (are) afraid.| | ||||||
| 3 [33:39] | Allatheena yuballighoona risalatiAllahi wayakhshawnahu wala yakhshawna ahadanilla Allaha wakafa biAllahi haseeban | الذين يبلغون رسالات الله ويخشونه ولا يخشون أحدا إلا الله وكفى بالله حسيبا الَّذِينَ يُبَلِّغُونَ رِسَالَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَخْشَوْنَهُ وَلَا يَخْشَوْنَ أَحَدًا إِلَّا اللَّهَ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ حَسِيبًا | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| يبلغون - convey| رسالات - (the) Messages| الله - (of) Allah| ويخشونه - and fear Him| ولا - and (do) not| يخشون - fear| أحدا - anyone| إلا - except| الله - Allah.| وكفى - And sufficient is Allah| بالله - And sufficient is Allah| حسيبا - (as) a Reckoner.| | ||||||
| 4 [35:18] | Wala taziru waziratun wizraokhra wa-in tadAAu muthqalatun ila himlihala yuhmal minhu shay-on walaw kana thaqurba innama tunthiru allatheenayakhshawna rabbahum bialghaybi waaqamoo alssalatawaman tazakka fa-innama yatazakka linafsihiwa-ila Allahi almaseeru | ولا تزر وازرة وزر أخرى وإن تدع مثقلة إلى حملها لا يحمل منه شيء ولو كان ذا قربى إنما تنذر الذين يخشون ربهم بالغيب وأقاموا الصلاة ومن تزكى فإنما يتزكى لنفسه وإلى الله المصير وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَى وَإِن تَدْعُ مُثْقَلَةٌ إِلَى حِمْلِهَا لَا يُحْمَلْ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَى إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُم بِالغَيْبِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَمَن تَزَكَّى فَإِنَّمَا يَتَزَكَّى لِنَفْسِهِ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And not| تزر - will bear| وازرة - bearer of burdens| وزر - burden| أخرى - (of) another.| وإن - And if| تدع - calls| مثقلة - a heavily laden| إلى - to| حملها - (carry) its load,| لا - not| يحمل - will be carried| منه - of it| شيء - anything| ولو - even if| كان - he be| ذا - near of kin.| قربى - near of kin.| إنما - Only| تنذر - you can warn| الذين - those who| يخشون - fear| ربهم - their Lord -| بالغيب - unseen| وأقاموا - and establish| الصلاة - the prayer.| ومن - And whoever| تزكى - purifies himself,| فإنما - then only| يتزكى - he purifies| لنفسه - for his own self.| وإلى - And to| الله - Allah| المصير - (is) the destination.| | ||||||
| 5 [39:23] | Allahu nazzala ahsana alhadeethikitaban mutashabihan mathaniya taqshaAAirruminhu juloodu allatheena yakhshawna rabbahum thummataleenu julooduhum waquloobuhum ila thikri Allahithalika huda Allahi yahdee bihi man yashaowaman yudlili Allahu fama lahu min hadin | الله نزل أحسن الحديث كتابا متشابها مثاني تقشعر منه جلود الذين يخشون ربهم ثم تلين جلودهم وقلوبهم إلى ذكر الله ذلك هدى الله يهدي به من يشاء ومن يضلل الله فما له من هاد اللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابًا مُّتَشَابِهًا مَّثَانِيَ تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْهُ جُلُودُ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ ثُمَّ تَلِينُ جُلُودُهُمْ وَقُلُوبُهُمْ إِلَى ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ هُدَى اللَّهِ يَهْدِي بِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَمَن يُضْلِلْ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ | |||||
| Words | |الله - Allah| نزل - has revealed| أحسن - (the) best| الحديث - (of) [the] statement -| كتابا - a Book| متشابها - (its parts) resembling each other| مثاني - oft-repeated.| تقشعر - Shiver| منه - from it| جلود - (the) skins| الذين - (of) those who| يخشون - fear| ربهم - their Lord,| ثم - then| تلين - relax| جلودهم - their skins| وقلوبهم - and their hearts| إلى - at| ذكر - (the) remembrance| الله - (of) Allah.| ذلك - That| هدى - (is the) guidance| الله - (of) Allah,| يهدي - He guides| به - with it| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| ومن - And whoever| يضلل - Allah lets go astray| الله - Allah lets go astray| فما - then not| له - for him| من - any| هاد - guide.| | ||||||
| 6 [67:12] | Inna allatheena yakhshawna rabbahumbialghaybi lahum maghfiratun waajrun kabeerun | إن الذين يخشون ربهم بالغيب لهم مغفرة وأجر كبير إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَيْبِ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ | |||||
