| 1 [2:17] | Mathaluhum kamathali allatheeistawqada naran falamma adaat ma hawlahuthahaba Allahu binoorihim watarakahum fee thulumatinla yubsiroona |  مثلهم كمثل الذي استوقد نارا فلما أضاءت ما حوله ذهب الله بنورهم وتركهم في ظلمات لا يبصرونمَثَلُهُمْ كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي اسْتَوْقَدَ نَاراً فَلَمَّا أَضَاءَتْ مَا حَوْلَهُ ذَهَبَ اللّهُ بِنُورِهِمْ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِي ظُلُمَاتٍ لاَّ يُبْصِرُونَ | |||||

| 2 [7:179] | Walaqad thara/na lijahannamakatheeran mina aljinni waal-insi lahum quloobun layafqahoona biha walahum aAAyunun la yubsiroonabiha walahum athanun la yasmaAAoona bihaola-ika kaal-anAAami bal hum adalluola-ika humu alghafiloona | ولقد ذرأنا لجهنم كثيرا من الجن والإنس لهم قلوب لا يفقهون بها ولهم أعين لا يبصرون بها ولهم آذان لا يسمعون بها أولئك كالأنعام بل هم أضل أولئك هم الغافلون وَلَقَدْ ذَرَأْنَا لِجَهَنَّمَ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ لاَّ يَفْقَهُونَ بِهَا وَلَهُمْ أَعْيُنٌ لاَّ يُبْصِرُونَ بِهَا وَلَهُمْ آذَانٌ لاَّ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا أُوْلَـئِكَ كَالْأَنْعَامِ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ أُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْغَافِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| ذرأنا - We have created| لجهنم - for Hell| كثيرا - many| من - of| الجن - the jinn| والإنس - and men.| لهم - For them| قلوب - (are) hearts| لا - (but) not| يفقهون - they understand| بها - with them,| ولهم - and for them| أعين - (are) eyes| لا - (but) not| يبصرون - they see| بها - with them,| ولهم - and for them| آذان - (are) ears| لا - (but) not| يسمعون - they hear| بها - with them.| أولئك - Those| كالأنعام - (are) like cattle,| بل - nay| هم - they| أضل - (are) more astray.| أولئك - Those -| هم - they| الغافلون - (are) the heedless.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:195] | Alahum arjulun yamshoona biha amlahum aydin yabtishoona biha am lahum aAAyunun yubsiroonabiha am lahum athanun yasmaAAoona biha quliodAAoo shurakaakum thumma keedooni fala tunthirooni | ألهم أرجل يمشون بها أم لهم أيد يبطشون بها أم لهم أعين يبصرون بها أم لهم آذان يسمعون بها قل ادعوا شركاءكم ثم كيدون فلا تنظرون أَلَهُمْ أَرْجُلٌ يَمْشُونَ بِهَا أَمْ لَهُمْ أَيْدٍ يَبْطِشُونَ بِهَا أَمْ لَهُمْ أَعْيُنٌ يُبْصِرُونَ بِهَا أَمْ لَهُمْ آذَانٌ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا قُلِ ادْعُواْ شُرَكَاءَكُمْ ثُمَّ كِيدُونِ فَلاَ تُنظِرُونِ | |||||
| Words | |ألهم - Are for them| أرجل - feet| يمشون - (to) walk| بها - with [it],| أم - or| لهم - for them| أيد - hands| يبطشون - (to) hold| بها - with [it],| أم - or| لهم - for them| أعين - eyes| يبصرون - (to) see| بها - with [it],| أم - or| لهم - for them| آذان - ears| يسمعون - (to) hear| بها - with [it]?| قل - Say,| ادعوا - "Call| شركاءكم - your partners,| ثم - then| كيدون - scheme against me| فلا - and (do) not| تنظرون - give me respite."| | ||||||
| 4 [7:198] | Wa-in tadAAoohum ila alhuda layasmaAAoo watarahum yanthuroona ilayka wahumla yubsiroona | وإن تدعوهم إلى الهدى لا يسمعوا وتراهم ينظرون إليك وهم لا يبصرون وَإِن تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى الْهُدَى لاَ يَسْمَعُواْ وَتَرَاهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ وَهُمْ لاَ يُبْصِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| تدعوهم - you call them| إلى - to| الهدى - the guidance| لا - not| يسمعوا - do they not.| وتراهم - And you see them| ينظرون - looking| إليك - at you| وهم - but they -| لا - not| يبصرون - (do) they see.| | ||||||
| 5 [10:43] | Waminhum man yanthuru ilaykaafaanta tahdee alAAumya walaw kanoo la yubsiroona | ومنهم من ينظر إليك أفأنت تهدي العمي ولو كانوا لا يبصرون وَمِنهُم مَّن يَنظُرُ إِلَيْكَ أَفَأَنتَ تَهْدِي الْعُمْيَ وَلَوْ كَانُواْ لاَ يُبْصِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومنهم - And among them| من - (are some) who| ينظر - look| إليك - at you.| أفأنت - But (can) you| تهدي - guide| العمي - the blind| ولو - even though| كانوا - they [were]| لا - (do) not| يبصرون - see?| | ||||||
| 6 [11:20] | Ola-ika lam yakoonoo muAAjizeena feeal-ardi wama kana lahum min dooni Allahimin awliyaa yudaAAafu lahumu alAAathabu makanoo yastateeAAoona alssamAAa wama kanooyubsiroona | أولئك لم يكونوا معجزين في الأرض وما كان لهم من دون الله من أولياء يضاعف لهم العذاب ما كانوا يستطيعون السمع وما كانوا يبصرون أُولَـئِكَ لَمْ يَكُونُواْ مُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ يُضَاعَفُ لَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مَا كَانُواْ يَسْتَطِيعُونَ السَّمْعَ وَمَا كَانُواْ يُبْصِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those| لم - not| يكونوا - will be| معجزين - (able to) escape| في - in| الأرض - the earth| وما - and not| كان - is| لهم - for them| من - besides| دون - besides| الله - Allah| من - any| أولياء - protectors.| يضاعف - And will be doubled| لهم - for them| العذاب - the punishment.| ما - Not| كانوا - they were| يستطيعون - able| السمع - (to) hear| وما - and not| كانوا - they used (to)| يبصرون - see.| | ||||||
| 7 [32:27] | Awa lam yaraw anna nasooqu almaaila al-ardi aljuruzi fanukhriju bihi zarAAanta-kulu minhu anAAamuhum waanfusuhum afala yubsiroona | أولم يروا أنا نسوق الماء إلى الأرض الجرز فنخرج به زرعا تأكل منه أنعامهم وأنفسهم أفلا يبصرون أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا نَسُوقُ الْمَاءَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ الْجُرُزِ فَنُخْرِجُ بِهِ زَرْعًا تَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ أَنْعَامُهُمْ وَأَنفُسُهُمْ أَفَلَا يُبْصِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أولم - Do not| يروا - they see| أنا - that We| نسوق - drive| الماء - water| إلى - to| الأرض - the land| الجرز - [the] barren,| فنخرج - then We bring forth| به - thereby| زرعا - crops,| تأكل - eat| منه - from it| أنعامهم - their cattle| وأنفسهم - and they themselves?| أفلا - Then do not| يبصرون - they see?| | ||||||
| 8 [36:9] | WajaAAalna min bayni aydeehim saddanwamin khalfihim saddan faaghshaynahum fahum la yubsiroona | وجعلنا من بين أيديهم سدا ومن خلفهم سدا فأغشيناهم فهم لا يبصرون وَجَعَلْنَا مِن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يُبْصِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وجعلنا - And We have made| من - before them| بين - before them| أيديهم - before them| سدا - a barrier| ومن - and behind them| خلفهم - and behind them| سدا - a barrier.| فأغشيناهم - and We covered them,| فهم - so they| لا - (do) not| يبصرون - see.| | ||||||
| 9 [36:66] | Walaw nashao latamasnaAAala aAAyunihim faistabaqoo alssiratafaanna yubsiroona | ولو نشاء لطمسنا على أعينهم فاستبقوا الصراط فأنى يبصرون وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَى أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَاسْتَبَقُوا الصِّرَاطَ فَأَنَّى يُبْصِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| نشاء - We willed,| لطمسنا - We (would have) surely obliterated| على - [over]| أعينهم - their eyes,| فاستبقوا - then they (would) race| الصراط - (to find) the path,| فأنى - then how| يبصرون - (could) they see?| | ||||||
| 10 [37:175] | Waabsirhum fasawfa yubsiroona | وأبصرهم فسوف يبصرون وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأبصرهم - And see them,| فسوف - so soon| يبصرون - they will see.| | ||||||
