| 1 [13:34] | Lahum AAathabun fee alhayatialddunya walaAAathabu al-akhiratiashaqqu wama lahum mina Allahi min waqin |  لهم عذاب في الحياة الدنيا ولعذاب الآخرة أشق وما لهم من الله من واقلَّهُمْ عَذَابٌ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَشَقُّ وَمَا لَهُم مِّنَ اللّهِ مِن وَاقٍ | |||||
| Words | |لهم - For them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| في - in| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world| ولعذاب - and surely the punishment| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter| أشق - (is) harder.| وما - And not| لهم - for them| من - against| الله - Allah| من - any| واق - defender.| | ||||||
| 2 [20:127] | Wakathalika najzee man asrafa walamyu/min bi-ayati rabbihi walaAAathabu al-akhiratiashaddu waabqa | وكذلك نجزي من أسرف ولم يؤمن بآيات ربه ولعذاب الآخرة أشد وأبقى وَكَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي مَنْ أَسْرَفَ وَلَمْ يُؤْمِن بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَشَدُّ وَأَبْقَى | |||||
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| نجزي - We recompense| من - (he) who| أسرف - transgresses,| ولم - and not| يؤمن - believes| بآيات - in (the) Signs| ربه - (of) his Lord.| ولعذاب - And surely (the) punishment| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter| أشد - (is) more severe| وأبقى - and more lasting.| | ||||||
| 3 [39:26] | Faathaqahumu Allahu alkhizyafee alhayati alddunya walaAAathabual-akhirati akbaru law kanoo yaAAlamoona | فأذاقهم الله الخزي في الحياة الدنيا ولعذاب الآخرة أكبر لو كانوا يعلمون فَأَذَاقَهُمُ اللَّهُ الْخِزْيَ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فأذاقهم - So Allah made them| الله - So Allah made them| الخزي - the disgrace| في - in| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| ولعذاب - and certainly (the) punishment| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter| أكبر - (is) greater,| لو - if| كانوا - they| يعلمون - knew.| | ||||||
| 4 [41:16] | Faarsalna AAalayhim reehan sarsaranfee ayyamin nahisatin linutheeqahumAAathaba alkhizyi fee alhayati alddunyawalaAAathabu al-akhirati akhza wahum layunsaroona | فأرسلنا عليهم ريحا صرصرا في أيام نحسات لنذيقهم عذاب الخزي في الحياة الدنيا ولعذاب الآخرة أخزى وهم لا ينصرون فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيْحًا صَرْصَرًا فِي أَيَّامٍ نَّحِسَاتٍ لِّنُذِيقَهُمْ عَذَابَ الْخِزْيِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَخْزَى وَهُمْ لَا يُنصَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فأرسلنا - So We sent| عليهم - upon them| ريحا - a wind| صرصرا - furious| في - in| أيام - (the) days| نحسات - (of) misfortune,| لنذيقهم - that We may make them taste| عذاب - (the) punishment| الخزي - (of) disgrace| في - in| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world.| ولعذاب - And surely, (the) punishment| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter| أخزى - (is) more disgracing,| وهم - and they| لا - will not be helped.| ينصرون - will not be helped.| | ||||||
| 5 [68:33] | Kathalika alAAathabu walaAAathabual-akhirati akbaru law kanoo yaAAlamoona | كذلك العذاب ولعذاب الآخرة أكبر لو كانوا يعلمون كَذَلِكَ الْعَذَابُ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |كذلك - Such| العذاب - (is) the punishment.| ولعذاب - And surely the punishment| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter| أكبر - (is) greater,| لو - if| كانوا - they| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
