| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[20:127] | Wakathalika najzee man asrafa walamyu/min bi-ayati rabbihi walaAAathabu al-akhiratiashaddu waabqa
|  وكذلك نجزي من أسرف ولم يؤمن بآيات ربه ولعذاب الآخرة أشد وأبقى
وَكَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي مَنْ أَسْرَفَ وَلَمْ يُؤْمِن بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَشَدُّ وَأَبْقَى |
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| نجزي - We recompense| من - (he) who| أسرف - transgresses,| ولم - and not| يؤمن - believes| بآيات - in (the) Signs| ربه - (of) his Lord.| ولعذاب - And surely (the) punishment| الآخرة - (of) the Hereafter| أشد - (is) more severe| وأبقى - and more lasting.| |

| እንደዚሁም ያጋራንና በጌታው አንቀጾች ያላመነን ሰው እንቀጣዋለን፡፡ የመጨረሻይቱም ዓለም ቅጣት በጣም ብርቱ ሁልጊዜ ዘውታሪም ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وكذلك } ومثل جزائنا من أعرض عن القرآن { نجزي من أسرف } أشرك { ولم يؤمن بآيات ربه ولعذاب الآخرة أشد } من عذاب الدنيا وعذاب القبر { وأبقى } أدوم . |
| Akka ay Nepqeîîi win izegren tilas, ur numin s issekniyen n Mass is. U, s tidep, aâaqeb n laxeôt iwâaô kteô, u ad idum kteô. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এমনিভাবে আমি তাকে প্রতিফল দেব, যে সীমালঙ্ঘন করে এবং পালনকর্তার কথায় বিশ্বাস স্থাপন না করে। তার পরকালের শাস্তি কঠোরতর এবং অনেক স্থায়ী। |
| Literal | And like that We reimburse who extravagated/exceeded the limit, and did not believe with his Lord's verses/evidences , and the end's (other life's) torture (E) (is) stronger (severer) and more lasting (everlasting) . |
| Yusuf Ali | And thus do We recompense him who transgresses beyond bounds and believes not in the Signs of his Lord: and the Penalty of the Hereafter is far more grievous and more enduring. |
