| 1 [2:80] | Waqaloo lan tamassana alnnaruilla ayyaman maAAdoodatan qul attakhathtumAAinda Allahi AAahdan falan yukhlifa AllahuAAahdahu am taqooloona AAala Allahi ma lataAAlamoona |  وقالوا لن تمسنا النار إلا أياما معدودة قل أتخذتم عند الله عهدا فلن يخلف الله عهده أم تقولون على الله ما لا تعلمونوَقَالُواْ لَنْ تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ إِلاَّ أَيَّاماً مَّعْدُوْدَةً قُلْ أَتَّخَذْتُمْ عِنْدَ اللّهِ عَهْدًا فَلَنْ يُّخْلِفَ اللّهُ عَهْدَهُ أَمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they say,| لن - "Never| تمسنا - will touch us| النار - the Fire| إلا - except| أياما - (for) days| معدودة - numbered."| قل - Say,| أتخذتم - "Have you taken| عند - from| الله - Allah| عهدا - a covenant,| فلن - so never| يخلف - will break| الله - Allah| عهده - His Covenant?| أم - Or| تقولون - (do) you say| على - against| الله - Allah| ما - what| لا - not| تعلمون - you know?"| | ||||||
| 2 [2:88] | Waqaloo quloobuna ghulfun ballaAAanahumu Allahu bikufrihim faqaleelan mayu/minoona | وقالوا قلوبنا غلف بل لعنهم الله بكفرهم فقليلا ما يؤمنون وَقَالُواْ قُلُوبُنَا غُلْفٌ بَلْ لَّعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَقَلِيْلاً مَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| قلوبنا - "Our hearts| غلف - (are) wrapped."| بل - Nay,| لعنهم - has cursed them| الله - Allah| بكفرهم - for their disbelief;| فقليلا - so little| ما - (is) what| يؤمنون - they believe.| | ||||||
| 3 [2:111] | Waqaloo lan yadkhula aljannata illaman kana hoodan aw nasara tilka amaniyyuhumqul hatoo burhanakum in kuntum sadiqeena | وقالوا لن يدخل الجنة إلا من كان هودا أو نصارى تلك أمانيهم قل هاتوا برهانكم إن كنتم صادقين وَقَالُواْ لَن يَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ إِلاَّ مَن كَانَ هُوداً أَوْ نَصَارَى تِلْكَ أَمَانِيُّهُمْ قُلْ هَاتُواْ بُرْهَانَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| لن - "Never| يدخل - will enter| الجنة - the Paradise| إلا - except| من - who| كان - is| هودا - (a) Jew[s]| أو - or| نصارى - (a) Christian[s]."| تلك - That| أمانيهم - (is) their wishful thinking.| قل - Say,| هاتوا - "Bring| برهانكم - your proof| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - [those who are] truthful."| | ||||||
| 4 [2:116] | Waqaloo itakhatha Allahuwaladan subhanahu bal lahu ma fee alssamawatiwaal-ardi kullun lahu qanitoona | وقالوا اتخذ الله ولدا سبحانه بل له ما في السماوات والأرض كل له قانتون وَقَالُواْ اتَّخَذَ اللّهُ وَلَدًا سُبْحَانَهُ بَل لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ كُلٌّ لَّهُ قَانِتُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| اتخذ - "has taken| الله - Allah| ولدا - a son."| سبحانه - Glory be to Him!| بل - Nay,| له - for Him| ما - (is) what| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth.| كل - All| له - to Him| قانتون - (are) humbly obedient.| | ||||||
| 5 [2:135] | Waqaloo koonoo hoodan aw nasaratahtadoo qul bal millata ibraheema haneefan wamakana mina almushrikeena | وقالوا كونوا هودا أو نصارى تهتدوا قل بل ملة إبراهيم حنيفا وما كان من المشركين وَقَالُواْ كُونُواْ هُودًا أَوْ نَصَارَى تَهْتَدُواْ قُلْ بَلْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| كونوا - "Be| هودا - Jews| أو - or| نصارى - Christians,| تهتدوا - (then) you will be guided."| قل - Say,| بل - "Nay,| ملة - (the) religion| إبراهيم - (of) Ibrahim,| حنيفا - (the) upright;| وما - and not| كان - he was| من - of| المشركين - those who associated partners (with Allah)."| | ||||||
| 6 [2:285] | Amana alrrasoolu bimaonzila ilayhi min rabbihi waalmu/minoona kullun amanabiAllahi wamala-ikatihi wakutubihiwarusulihi la nufarriqu bayna ahadin min rusulihiwaqaloo samiAAna waataAAna ghufranakarabbana wa-ilayka almaseeru | آمن الرسول بما أنزل إليه من ربه والمؤمنون كل آمن بالله وملائكته وكتبه ورسله لا نفرق بين أحد من رسله وقالوا سمعنا وأطعنا غفرانك ربنا وإليك المصير آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِن رَّبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ وَمَلَآئِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ لاَ نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّن رُّسُلِهِ وَقَالُواْ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |آمن - Believed| الرسول - the Messenger| بما - in what| أنزل - was revealed| إليه - to him| من - from| ربه - his Lord| والمؤمنون - and the believers.| كل - All| آمن - believed| بالله - in Allah,| وملائكته - and His Angels,| وكتبه - and His Books,| ورسله - and His Messengers.| لا - "Not| نفرق - we make distinction| بين - between| أحد - any| من - of| رسله - His messengers."| وقالوا - And they said,| سمعنا - "We heard| وأطعنا - and we obeyed.| غفرانك - (Grant) us Your forgiveness| ربنا - our Lord,| وإليك - and to You| المصير - (is) the return."| | ||||||
| 7 [3:156] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola takoonoo kaallatheena kafaroo waqalooli-ikhwanihim itha daraboo fee al-ardiaw kanoo ghuzzan law kanoo AAindana mamatoo wama qutiloo liyajAAala Allahu thalikahasratan fee quloobihim waAllahu yuhyeewayumeetu waAllahu bima taAAmaloona baseerun | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تكونوا كالذين كفروا وقالوا لإخوانهم إذا ضربوا في الأرض أو كانوا غزى لو كانوا عندنا ما ماتوا وما قتلوا ليجعل الله ذلك حسرة في قلوبهم والله يحيي ويميت والله بما تعملون بصير يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَكُونُواْ كَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَقَالُواْ لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ إِذَا ضَرَبُواْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَوْ كَانُواْ غُزًّى لَّوْ كَانُواْ عِندَنَا مَا مَاتُواْ وَمَا قُتِلُواْ لِيَجْعَلَ اللّهُ ذَلِكَ حَسْرَةً فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ وَاللّهُ يُحْيِـي وَيُمِيتُ وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| لا - (Do) not| تكونوا - be| كالذين - like those who| كفروا - disbelieved| وقالوا - and they said| لإخوانهم - about their brothers| إذا - when| ضربوا - they traveled| في - in| الأرض - the earth| أو - or| كانوا - they were| غزى - fighting,| لو - "If| كانوا - they had been| عندنا - with us,| ما - not| ماتوا - they (would have) died| وما - and not| قتلوا - they (would have) been killed."| ليجعل - So makes| الله - Allah| ذلك - that| حسرة - a regret| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts.| والله - And Allah| يحيي - gives life| ويميت - and causes death,| والله - and Allah| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| بصير - (is) All-Seer.| | ||||||
| 8 [3:173] | Allatheena qala lahumu alnnasuinna alnnasa qad jamaAAoo lakum faikhshawhumfazadahum eemanan waqaloo hasbunaAllahu waniAAma alwakeelu | الذين قال لهم الناس إن الناس قد جمعوا لكم فاخشوهم فزادهم إيمانا وقالوا حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل الَّذِينَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُواْ لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ إِيمَاناً وَقَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا اللّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| قال - said| لهم - to them| الناس - [the people],| إن - "Indeed| الناس - the people| قد - (have) certainly| جمعوا - gathered| لكم - against you,| فاخشوهم - so fear them."| فزادهم - But it increased them| إيمانا - (in) faith| وقالوا - and they said,| حسبنا - "Sufficient for us| الله - (is) Allah| ونعم - and (He is the) best| الوكيل - [the] Disposer of affairs."| | ||||||
| 9 [4:77] | Alam tara ila allatheena qeelalahum kuffoo aydiyakum waaqeemoo alssalatawaatoo alzzakata falamma kutibaAAalayhimu alqitalu itha fareequn minhum yakhshawnaalnnasa kakhashyati Allahi aw ashaddakhashyatan waqaloo rabbana lima katabta AAalaynaalqitala lawla akhkhartana ila ajalinqareebin qul mataAAu alddunya qaleelun waal-akhiratukhayrun limani ittaqa wala tuthlamoonafateelan | ألم تر إلى الذين قيل لهم كفوا أيديكم وأقيموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة فلما كتب عليهم القتال إذا فريق منهم يخشون الناس كخشية الله أو أشد خشية وقالوا ربنا لم كتبت علينا القتال لولا أخرتنا إلى أجل قريب قل متاع الدنيا قليل والآخرة خير لمن اتقى ولا تظلمون فتيلا أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ قِيلَ لَهُمْ كُفُّواْ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَقِيمُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتُواْ الزَّكَاةَ فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقِتَالُ إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَخْشَوْنَ النَّاسَ كَخَشْيَةِ اللّهِ أَوْ أَشَدَّ خَشْيَةً وَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَا لِمَ كَتَبْتَ عَلَيْنَا الْقِتَالَ لَوْلاَ أَخَّرْتَنَا إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ قُلْ مَتَاعُ الدُّنْيَا قَلِيلٌ وَالْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِّمَنِ اتَّقَى وَلاَ تُظْلَمُونَ فَتِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Have not| تر - you seen| إلى - [towards]| الذين - those who| قيل - (when) it was said| لهم - to them,| كفوا - "Restrain| أيديكم - your hands| وأقيموا - and establish| الصلاة - the prayer| وآتوا - and give| الزكاة - the zakah?"| فلما - Then when| كتب - was ordained| عليهم - on them| القتال - the fighting,| إذا - then| فريق - a group| منهم - of them| يخشون - [they] fear| الناس - the people| كخشية - as (they) fear| الله - Allah| أو - or| أشد - more intense| خشية - fear,| وقالوا - and they said,| ربنا - "Our Lord| لم - why| كتبت - have You ordained| علينا - upon us| القتال - [the] fighting?| لولا - Why not| أخرتنا - You postpone (it for) us| إلى - to| أجل - a term,| قريب - near."| قل - Say,| متاع - "Enjoyment| الدنيا - (of) the world| قليل - (is) little| والآخرة - and the Hereafter| خير - (is) better| لمن - for whoever| اتقى - fears (Allah)| ولا - and not| تظلمون - you will be wronged| فتيلا - (even as much as) a hair on a date-seed."| | ||||||
| 10 [6:8] | Waqaloo lawla onzila AAalayhimalakun walaw anzalna malakan laqudiya al-amruthumma la yuntharoona | وقالوا لولا أنزل عليه ملك ولو أنزلنا ملكا لقضي الأمر ثم لا ينظرون وَقَالُواْ لَوْلاَ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ وَلَوْ أَنزَلْنَا مَلَكًا لَّقُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ ثُمَّ لاَ يُنظَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| لولا - "Why has not been| أنزل - sent down| عليه - to him| ملك - an Angel?"| ولو - And if| أنزلنا - We (had) sent down| ملكا - an Angel,| لقضي - surely (would) have been decided| الأمر - the matter| ثم - then| لا - no| ينظرون - respite would have been granted to them.| | ||||||
| 11 [6:29] | Waqaloo in hiya illa hayatunaalddunya wama nahnu bimabAAootheena | وقالوا إن هي إلا حياتنا الدنيا وما نحن بمبعوثين وَقَالُواْ إِنْ هِيَ إِلاَّ حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَبْعُوثِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| إن - "Not| هي - it (is)| إلا - except| حياتنا - our life| الدنيا - (of) the world| وما - and not| نحن - we| بمبعوثين - (will be) resurrected."| | ||||||
| 12 [6:37] | Waqaloo lawla nuzzila AAalayhiayatun min rabbihi qul inna Allaha qadirunAAala an yunazzila ayatan walakinnaaktharahum la yaAAlamoona | وقالوا لولا نزل عليه آية من ربه قل إن الله قادر على أن ينزل آية ولكن أكثرهم لا يعلمون وَقَالُواْ لَوْلاَ نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ قُلْ إِنَّ اللّهَ قَادِرٌ عَلَى أَن يُنَزِّلٍ آيَةً وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| لولا - "Why (is) not| نزل - sent down| عليه - to him| آية - a Sign| من - from| ربه - his Lord?"| قل - Say,| إن - "Indeed| الله - Allah| قادر - (is) Able| على - [on]| أن - to| ينزل - send down| آية - a Sign,| ولكن - but| أكثرهم - most of them| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know."| | ||||||
| 13 [6:138] | Waqaloo hathihi anAAamunwaharthun hijrun la yatAAamuhailla man nashao bizaAAmihim waanAAamun hurrimatthuhooruha waanAAamun la yathkuroonaisma Allahi AAalayha iftiraan AAalayhisayajzeehim bima kanoo yaftaroona | وقالوا هذه أنعام وحرث حجر لا يطعمها إلا من نشاء بزعمهم وأنعام حرمت ظهورها وأنعام لا يذكرون اسم الله عليها افتراء عليه سيجزيهم بما كانوا يفترون وَقَالُواْ هَـذِهِ أَنْعَامٌ وَحَرْثٌ حِجْرٌ لاَّ يَطْعَمُهَا إِلاَّ مَن نَّشَاءُ بِزَعْمِهِمْ وَأَنْعَامٌ حُرِّمَتْ ظُهُورُهَا وَأَنْعَامٌ لاَّ يَذْكُرُونَ اسْمَ اللّهِ عَلَيْهَا افْتِرَاءً عَلَيْهِ سَيَجْزِيهِم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they say,| هذه - "These| أنعام - (are) cattle| وحرث - and crops,| حجر - forbidden,| لا - no (one)| يطعمها - can eat them| إلا - except| من - whom| نشاء - we will,"| بزعمهم - by their claim.| وأنعام - And cattle,| حرمت - forbidden| ظهورها - (are) their backs| وأنعام - and cattle| لا - not| يذكرون - they mention| اسم - (the) name| الله - (of) Allah| عليها - on it| افتراء - (as) an invention| عليه - against Him.| سيجزيهم - He will recompense them| بما - for what| كانوا - they used to| يفترون - invent.| | ||||||
| 14 [6:139] | Waqaloo ma fee butoonihathihi al-anAAami khalisatun lithukoorinawamuharramun AAala azwajina wa-inyakun maytatan fahum feehi shurakao sayajzeehim wasfahuminnahu hakeemun AAaleemun | وقالوا ما في بطون هذه الأنعام خالصة لذكورنا ومحرم على أزواجنا وإن يكن ميتة فهم فيه شركاء سيجزيهم وصفهم إنه حكيم عليم وَقَالُواْ مَا فِي بُطُونِ هَـذِهِ الْأَنْعَامِ خَالِصَةٌ لِّذُكُورِنَا وَمُحَرَّمٌ عَلَى أَزْوَاجِنَا وَإِن يَكُن مَّيْتَةً فَهُمْ فِيهِ شُرَكَاءَ سَيَجْزِيهِمْ وَصْفَهُمْ إِنَّهُ حِكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they say,| ما - "What| في - (is) in| بطون - (the) wombs| هذه - (of) these| الأنعام - cattle| خالصة - (is) exclusively| لذكورنا - for our males| ومحرم - and forbidden| على - on| أزواجنا - our spouses.| وإن - But if| يكن - is| ميتة - (born) dead,| فهم - then they (all)| فيه - in it| شركاء - (are) partners."| سيجزيهم - He will recompense them| وصفهم - (for) their attribution.| إنه - Indeed, He| حكيم - (is) All-Wise,| عليم - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 15 [7:43] | WanazaAAna ma fee sudoorihimmin ghillin tajree min tahtihimu al-anharu waqalooalhamdu lillahi allathee hadanalihatha wama kunna linahtadiya lawlaan hadana Allahu laqad jaat rusulurabbina bialhaqqi wanoodoo an tilkumualjannatu oorithtumooha bima kuntum taAAmaloona | ونزعنا ما في صدورهم من غل تجري من تحتهم الأنهار وقالوا الحمد لله الذي هدانا لهذا وما كنا لنهتدي لولا أن هدانا الله لقد جاءت رسل ربنا بالحق ونودوا أن تلكم الجنة أورثتموها بما كنتم تعملون وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهِمُ الْأَنْهَارُ وَقَالُواْ الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي هَدَانَا لِهَـذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِيَ لَوْلاَ أَنْ هَدَانَا اللّهُ لَقَدْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَنُودُواْ أَن تِلْكُمُ الْجَنَّةُ أُورِثْتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ونزعنا - And We will remove| ما - whatever| في - (is) in| صدورهم - their breasts| من - of| غل - malice.| تجري - Flows| من - from| تحتهم - underneath them| الأنهار - the rivers.| وقالوا - And they will say,| الحمد - "All the praise| لله - (is) for Allah,| الذي - the One Who| هدانا - guided us| لهذا - to this,| وما - and not| كنا - we were| لنهتدي - to receive guidance| لولا - if not| أن - [that]| هدانا - (had) guided us| الله - Allah.| لقد - Certainly,| جاءت - came| رسل - Messengers| ربنا - (of) our Lord| بالحق - with the truth."| ونودوا - And they will be addressed,| أن - [that]| تلكم - "This| الجنة - (is) Paradise,| أورثتموها - you have been made to inherit it| بما - for what| كنتم - you used to| تعملون - do."| | ||||||
| 16 [7:77] | FaAAaqaroo alnnaqata waAAatawAAan amri rabbihim waqaloo ya salihui/tina bima taAAiduna in kunta minaalmursaleena | فعقروا الناقة وعتوا عن أمر ربهم وقالوا يا صالح ائتنا بما تعدنا إن كنت من المرسلين فَعَقَرُواْ النَّاقَةَ وَعَتَوْاْ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ وَقَالُواْ يَا صَالِحُ ائْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَا إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فعقروا - Then they hamstrung| الناقة - the she-camel| وعتوا - and (were) insolent| عن - towards| أمر - (the) command| ربهم - (of) their Lord| وقالوا - and they said,| يا - O| صالح - "O Salih!| ائتنا - Bring us| بما - what| تعدنا - you promise us| إن - if| كنت - you are| من - of| المرسلين - the Messengers."| | ||||||
| 17 [7:95] | Thumma baddalna makana alssayyi-atialhasanata hatta AAafaw waqaloo qadmassa abaana alddarraowaalssarrao faakhathnahum baghtatanwahum la yashAAuroona | ثم بدلنا مكان السيئة الحسنة حتى عفوا وقالوا قد مس آباءنا الضراء والسراء فأخذناهم بغتة وهم لا يشعرون ثُمَّ بَدَّلْنَا مَكَانَ السَّيِّئَةِ الْحَسَنَةَ حَتَّى عَفَواْ وَّقَالُواْ قَدْ مَسَّ آبَاءَنَا الضَّرَّاءُ وَالسَّرَّاءُ فَأَخَذْنَاهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لاَ يَشْعُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| بدلنا - We changed| مكان - (in) place| السيئة - (of) the bad| الحسنة - the good,| حتى - until| عفوا - they increased| وقالوا - and said,| قد - "Verily,| مس - (had) touched| آباءنا - our forefathers| الضراء - the adversity| والسراء - and the ease."| فأخذناهم - So We seized them| بغتة - suddenly,| وهم - while they| لا - (did) not| يشعرون - perceive.| | ||||||
| 18 [7:132] | Waqaloo mahma ta/tinabihi min ayatin litasharana biha famanahnu laka bimu/mineena | وقالوا مهما تأتنا به من آية لتسحرنا بها فما نحن لك بمؤمنين وَقَالُواْ مَهْمَا تَأْتِنَا بِهِ مِن آيَةٍ لِّتَسْحَرَنَا بِهَا فَمَا نَحْنُ لَكَ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they said,| مهما - "Whatever| تأتنا - you bring us| به - therewith| من - of| آية - (the) sign| لتسحرنا - so that you bewitch us| بها - with it,| فما - then not| نحن - we| لك - (will be) in you| بمؤمنين - believers."| | ||||||
| 19 [9:59] | Walaw annahum radoo ma atahumuAllahu warasooluhu waqaloo hasbunaAllahu sayu/teena Allahu min fadlihiwarasooluhu inna ila Allahi raghiboona | ولو أنهم رضوا ما آتاهم الله ورسوله وقالوا حسبنا الله سيؤتينا الله من فضله ورسوله إنا إلى الله راغبون وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ رَضُوْاْ مَا آتَاهُمُ اللّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَقَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا اللّهُ سَيُؤْتِينَا اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَرَسُولُهُ إِنَّا إِلَى اللّهِ رَاغِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أنهم - [that] they| رضوا - (were) satisfied| ما - (with) what| آتاهم - Allah gave them| الله - Allah gave them| ورسوله - and His Messenger,| وقالوا - and said,| حسبنا - "Sufficient for us| الله - (is) Allah,| سيؤتينا - Allah will give us| الله - Allah will give us| من - of| فضله - His Bounty| ورسوله - and His Messenger.| إنا - Indeed, we| إلى - to| الله - Allah| راغبون - turn our hopes."| | ||||||
| 20 [9:81] | Fariha almukhallafoona bimaqAAadihimkhilafa rasooli Allahi wakarihoo an yujahidoobi-amwalihim waanfusihim fee sabeeli Allahi waqaloola tanfiroo fee alharri qul naru jahannamaashaddu harran law kanoo yafqahoona | فرح المخلفون بمقعدهم خلاف رسول الله وكرهوا أن يجاهدوا بأموالهم وأنفسهم في سبيل الله وقالوا لا تنفروا في الحر قل نار جهنم أشد حرا لو كانوا يفقهون فَرِحَ الْمُخَلَّفُونَ بِمَقْعَدِهِمْ خِلاَفَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ وَكَرِهُواْ أَن يُجَاهِدُواْ بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَقَالُواْ لاَ تَنفِرُواْ فِي الْحَرِّ قُلْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ أَشَدُّ حَرًّا لَّوْ كَانُوا يَفْقَهُونَ | |||||
