| 1 [3:36] | Falamma wadaAAat-ha qalatrabbi innee wadaAAtuha ontha waAllahuaAAlamu bima wadaAAat walaysa alththakarukaalontha wa-innee sammaytuha maryamawa-innee oAAeethuha bika wathurriyyatahamina alshshaytani alrrajeemi |  فلما وضعتها قالت رب إني وضعتها أنثى والله أعلم بما وضعت وليس الذكر كالأنثى وإني سميتها مريم وإني أعيذها بك وذريتها من الشيطان الرجيمفَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَضَعْتُهَا أُنثَى وَاللّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ وَلَيْسَ الذَّكَرُ كَالْأُنثَى وَإِنِّي سَمَّيْتُهَا مَرْيَمَ وِإِنِّي أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - Then when| وضعتها - she delivered her,| قالت - she said,| رب - "My Lord,| إني - indeed I| وضعتها - [I] (have) delivered [her]| أنثى - a female."| والله - And Allah| أعلم - knows better| بما - [of] what| وضعت - she delivered,| وليس - and is not| الذكر - the male| كالأنثى - like the female.| وإني - "And that I| سميتها - [I] (have) named her| مريم - Maryam| وإني - and that I| أعيذها - [I] seek refuge for her| بك - in You| وذريتها - and her offspring| من - from| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| الرجيم - the rejected."| | ||||||
| 2 [8:48] | Wa-ith zayyana lahumu alshshaytanuaAAmalahum waqala la ghaliba lakumualyawma mina alnnasi wa-innee jarun lakumfalamma taraati alfi-atani nakasaAAala AAaqibayhi waqala innee baree-on minkum inneeara ma la tarawna innee akhafu AllahawaAllahu shadeedu alAAiqabi | وإذ زين لهم الشيطان أعمالهم وقال لا غالب لكم اليوم من الناس وإني جار لكم فلما تراءت الفئتان نكص على عقبيه وقال إني بريء منكم إني أرى ما لا ترون إني أخاف الله والله شديد العقاب وَإِذْ زَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ وَقَالَ لاَ غَالِبَ لَكُمُ الْيَوْمَ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَإِنِّي جَارٌ لَّكُمْ فَلَمَّا تَرَاءَتِ الْفِئَتَانِ نَكَصَ عَلَى عَقِبَيْهِ وَقَالَ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِّنكُمْ إِنِّي أَرَى مَا لاَ تَرَوْنَ إِنِّيَ أَخَافُ اللّهَ وَاللّهُ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| زين - made fair-seeming| لهم - to them| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| أعمالهم - their deeds| وقال - and he said,| لا - "No (one)| غالب - (can) overcome| لكم - [to] you| اليوم - today| من - from| الناس - the people| وإني - and indeed, I am| جار - a neighbor| لكم - for you."| فلما - But when| تراءت - came in sight| الفئتان - the two forces| نكص - he turned away| على - on| عقبيه - his heels| وقال - and said,| إني - "Indeed, I am| بريء - free| منكم - of you.| إني - Indeed, I| أرى - see| ما - what| لا - not| ترون - you see,| إني - indeed, I| أخاف - [I] fear| الله - Allah.| والله - And Allah| شديد - (is) severe| العقاب - (in) the penalty."| | ||||||
| 3 [11:84] | Wa-ila madyana akhahumshuAAayban qala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha malakum min ilahin ghayruhu wala tanqusooalmikyala waalmeezana innee arakumbikhayrin wa-innee akhafu AAalaykum AAathaba yawminmuheetin | وإلى مدين أخاهم شعيبا قال يا قوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره ولا تنقصوا المكيال والميزان إني أراكم بخير وإني أخاف عليكم عذاب يوم محيط وَإِلَى مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـهٍ غَيْرُهُ وَلاَ تَنقُصُواْ الْمِكْيَالَ وَالْمِيزَانَ إِنِّيَ أَرَاكُم بِخَيْرٍ وَإِنِّيَ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ مُّحِيطٍ | |||||
| Words | |وإلى - And to| مدين - Madyan,| أخاهم - their brother| شعيبا - Shuaib.| قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| اعبدوا - Worship| الله - Allah| ما - not| لكم - (is) for you| من - any| إله - god| غيره - other than Him.| ولا - And (do) not| تنقصوا - decrease| المكيال - (from) the measure| والميزان - and the scale.| إني - Indeed, I| أراكم - see you| بخير - in prosperity,| وإني - but indeed, I| أخاف - fear| عليكم - for you| عذاب - punishment| يوم - (of) a Day| محيط - all-encompassing.| | ||||||
| 4 [17:102] | Qala laqad AAalimta ma anzalahaola-i illa rabbu alssamawatiwaal-ardi basa-ira wa-innee laathunnukaya firAAawnu mathbooran | قال لقد علمت ما أنزل هؤلاء إلا رب السماوات والأرض بصائر وإني لأظنك يا فرعون مثبورا قَالَ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا أَنزَلَ هَـؤُلاَءِ إِلاَّ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ بَصَآئِرَ وَإِنِّي لَأَظُنُّكَ يَا فِرْعَونُ مَثْبُورًا | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| لقد - "Verily,| علمت - you have known| ما - none| أنزل - has sent down| هؤلاء - these| إلا - except| رب - (the) Lord| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth| بصائر - (as) evidence,| وإني - and indeed, I| لأظنك - [I] surely think you| يا - O| فرعون - O Firaun!| مثبورا - (you are) destroyed."| | ||||||
| 5 [19:5] | Wa-innee khiftu almawaliya min wara-eewakanati imraatee AAaqiran fahab lee min ladunkawaliyyan | وإني خفت الموالي من ورائي وكانت امرأتي عاقرا فهب لي من لدنك وليا وَإِنِّي خِفْتُ الْمَوَالِيَ مِن وَرَائِي وَكَانَتِ امْرَأَتِي عَاقِرًا فَهَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّا | |||||
| Words | |وإني - And indeed, I| خفت - [I] fear| الموالي - the successors| من - after me,| ورائي - after me,| وكانت - and is| امرأتي - my wife| عاقرا - barren.| فهب - So give| لي - [to] me| من - from| لدنك - Yourself| وليا - an heir| | ||||||
| 6 [20:82] | Wa-innee laghaffarun liman tabawaamana waAAamila salihan thumma ihtada | وإني لغفار لمن تاب وآمن وعمل صالحا ثم اهتدى وَإِنِّي لَغَفَّارٌ لِّمَن تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا ثُمَّ اهْتَدَى | |||||
| Words | |وإني - But indeed, I Am| لغفار - the Perpetual Forgiver| لمن - of whoever| تاب - repents| وآمن - and believes| وعمل - and does| صالحا - righteous (deeds)| ثم - then| اهتدى - remains guided.| | ||||||
| 7 [27:35] | Wa-innee mursilatun ilayhim bihadiyyatin fanathiratunbima yarjiAAu almursaloona | وإني مرسلة إليهم بهدية فناظرة بم يرجع المرسلون وَإِنِّي مُرْسِلَةٌ إِلَيْهِم بِهَدِيَّةٍ فَنَاظِرَةٌ بِمَ يَرْجِعُ الْمُرْسَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإني - But indeed, I am| مرسلة - going to send| إليهم - to them| بهدية - a gift| فناظرة - and see| بم - with what| يرجع - return| المرسلون - the messengers."| | ||||||
| 8 [27:39] | Qala AAifreetun mina aljinni anaateeka bihi qabla an taqooma min maqamika wa-inneAAalayhi laqawiyyun ameenun | قال عفريت من الجن أنا آتيك به قبل أن تقوم من مقامك وإني عليه لقوي أمين قَالَ عِفْرِيتٌ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ أَنَا آتِيكَ بِهِ قَبْلَ أَن تَقُومَ مِن مَّقَامِكَ وَإِنِّي عَلَيْهِ لَقَوِيٌّ أَمِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |قال - Said| عفريت - a strong one| من - of| الجن - the jinn,| أنا - "I| آتيك - will bring it to you| به - will bring it to you| قبل - before| أن - [that]| تقوم - you rise| من - from| مقامك - your place.| وإني - And indeed, I am| عليه - for it| لقوي - surely, strong,| أمين - trustworthy."| | ||||||
| 9 [28:38] | Waqala firAAawnu ya ayyuhaalmalao ma AAalimtu lakum min ilahin ghayreefaawqid lee ya hamanu AAala altteenifaijAAal lee sarhan laAAallee attaliAAuila ilahi moosa wa-innee laathunnuhumina alkathibeena | وقال فرعون يا أيها الملأ ما علمت لكم من إله غيري فأوقد لي يا هامان على الطين فاجعل لي صرحا لعلي أطلع إلى إله موسى وإني لأظنه من الكاذبين وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ يَا أَيُّهَا الْمَلَأُ مَا عَلِمْتُ لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَهٍ غَيْرِي فَأَوْقِدْ لِي يَا هَامَانُ عَلَى الطِّينِ فَاجْعَل لِّي صَرْحًا لَّعَلِّي أَطَّلِعُ إِلَى إِلَهِ مُوسَى وَإِنِّي لَأَظُنُّهُ مِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And Firaun said,| فرعون - And Firaun said,| يا - O| أيها - "O chiefs!| الملأ - "O chiefs!| ما - Not| علمت - I know| لكم - for you| من - any| إله - god| غيري - other than me.| فأوقد - So kindle| لي - for me| يا - O| هامان - Upon| على - the clay| الطين - and make,| فاجعل - for me| لي - a lofty tower| صرحا - so that [I]| لعلي - I may look| أطلع - at| إلى - (the) God| إله - (of) Musa.| موسى - And indeed, I| وإني - [I] think that he| لأظنه - (is) of| من - the liars."| | ||||||
| 10 [40:37] | Asbaba alssamawatifaattaliAAa ila ilahi moosa wa-inneelaathunnuhu kathiban wakathalikazuyyina lifirAAawna soo-o AAamalihi wasudda AAani alssabeeliwama kaydu firAAawna illa fee tababin | أسباب السماوات فأطلع إلى إله موسى وإني لأظنه كاذبا وكذلك زين لفرعون سوء عمله وصد عن السبيل وما كيد فرعون إلا في تباب أَسْبَابَ السَّمَاوَاتِ فَأَطَّلِعَ إِلَى إِلَهِ مُوسَى وَإِنِّي لَأَظُنُّهُ كَاذِبًا وَكَذَلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِفِرْعَوْنَ سُوءُ عَمَلِهِ وَصُدَّ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَمَا كَيْدُ فِرْعَوْنَ إِلَّا فِي تَبَابٍ | |||||
| Words | |أسباب - (The) ways| السماوات - (to) the heavens| فأطلع - so I may look| إلى - at| إله - (the) God| موسى - (of) Musa;| وإني - and indeed, I| لأظنه - [I] surely think him| كاذبا - (to be) a liar."| وكذلك - And thus| زين - was made fair-seeming| لفرعون - to Firaun| سوء - (the) evil| عمله - (of) his deed,| وصد - and he was averted| عن - from| السبيل - the way.| وما - And not| كيد - (was the) plot| فرعون - (of) Firaun| إلا - except| في - in| تباب - ruin.| | ||||||
| 11 [44:20] | Wa-innee AAuthtu birabbee warabbikuman tarjumooni | وإني عذت بربي وربكم أن ترجمون وَإِنِّي عُذْتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمْ أَن تَرْجُمُونِ | |||||
| Words | |وإني - And indeed, I| عذت - [I] seek refuge| بربي - with my Lord| وربكم - and your Lord| أن - lest| ترجمون - you stone me.| | ||||||
| 12 [46:15] | Wawassayna al-insanabiwalidayhi ihsanan hamalat-hu ommuhukurhan wawadaAAat-hu kurhan wahamluhu wafisaluhuthalathoona shahran hatta ithabalagha ashuddahu wabalagha arbaAAeena sanatan qala rabbiawziAAnee an ashkura niAAmataka allatee anAAamta AAalayya waAAalawalidayya waan aAAmala salihan tardahuwaaslih lee fee thurriyyatee innee tubtuilayka wa-innee mina almuslimeena | ووصينا الإنسان بوالديه إحسانا حملته أمه كرها ووضعته كرها وحمله وفصاله ثلاثون شهرا حتى إذا بلغ أشده وبلغ أربعين سنة قال رب أوزعني أن أشكر نعمتك التي أنعمت علي وعلى والدي وأن أعمل صالحا ترضاه وأصلح لي في ذريتي إني تبت إليك وإني من المسلمين وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ إِحْسَانًا حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ كُرْهًا وَوَضَعَتْهُ كُرْهًا وَحَمْلُهُ وَفِصَالُهُ ثَلَاثُونَ شَهْرًا حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُ وَبَلَغَ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً قَالَ رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي فِي ذُرِّيَّتِي إِنِّي تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَإِنِّي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ووصينا - And We have enjoined| الإنسان - (on) man| بوالديه - to his parents| إحسانا - kindness.| حملته - Carried him| أمه - his mother| كرها - (with) hardship| ووضعته - and gave birth to him| كرها - (with) hardship.| وحمله - And (the) bearing of him| وفصاله - and (the) weaning of him| ثلاثون - (is) thirty| شهرا - month(s)| حتى - until,| إذا - when| بلغ - he reaches| أشده - his maturity| وبلغ - and reaches| أربعين - forty| سنة - year(s),| قال - he says,| رب - "My Lord,| أوزعني - grant me (the) power| أن - that| أشكر - I may be grateful| نعمتك - (for) Your favor| التي - which| أنعمت - You have bestowed| علي - upon me| وعلى - and upon| والدي - my parents| وأن - and that| أعمل - I do| صالحا - righteous (deeds)| ترضاه - which please You,| وأصلح - and make righteous| لي - for me| في - among| ذريتي - my offspring,| إني - indeed,| تبت - I turn| إليك - to You| وإني - and indeed, I am| من - of| المسلمين - those who submit."| | ||||||
| 13 [71:7] | Wa-innee kullama daAAawtuhumlitaghfira lahum jaAAaloo asabiAAahum fee athanihimwaistaghshaw thiyabahum waasarroo waistakbarooistikbaran | وإني كلما دعوتهم لتغفر لهم جعلوا أصابعهم في آذانهم واستغشوا ثيابهم وأصروا واستكبروا استكبارا وَإِنِّي كُلَّمَا دَعَوْتُهُمْ لِتَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ جَعَلُوا أَصَابِعَهُمْ فِي آذَانِهِمْ وَاسْتَغْشَوْا ثِيَابَهُمْ وَأَصَرُّوا وَاسْتَكْبَرُوا اسْتِكْبَارًا | |||||
| Words | |وإني - And indeed, I| كلما - every time,| دعوتهم - I invited them| لتغفر - that You may forgive| لهم - them,| جعلوا - they put| أصابعهم - their fingers| في - in| آذانهم - their ears| واستغشوا - and covered themselves| ثيابهم - (with) their garments| وأصروا - and persisted| واستكبروا - and were arrogant| استكبارا - (with) pride.| | ||||||
