| 1 [7:156] | Waoktub lana fee hathihialddunya hasanatan wafee al-akhiratiinna hudna ilayka qala AAathabee oseebubihi man ashao warahmatee wasiAAat kulla shay-infasaaktubuha lillatheena yattaqoona wayu/toona alzzakatawaallatheena hum bi-ayatinayu/minoona |  واكتب لنا في هذه الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة إنا هدنا إليك قال عذابي أصيب به من أشاء ورحمتي وسعت كل شيء فسأكتبها للذين يتقون ويؤتون الزكاة والذين هم بآياتنا يؤمنونوَاكْتُبْ لَنَا فِي هَـذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ إِنَّا هُدْنَـا إِلَيْكَ قَالَ عَذَابِي أُصِيبُ بِهِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ وَرَحْمَتِي وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَسَأَكْتُبُهَا لِلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَـاةَ وَالَّذِينَ هُم بِآيَاتِنَا يُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واكتب - And ordain| لنا - for us| في - in| هذه - this| الدنيا - [the] world,| حسنة - good| وفي - and in| الآخرة - the Hereafter.| إنا - Indeed, we| هدنا - we have turned| إليك - to You."| قال - He said,| عذابي - "My punishment -| أصيب - I afflict| به - with it| من - whom| أشاء - I will,| ورحمتي - but My Mercy| وسعت - encompasses| كل - every| شيء - thing.| فسأكتبها - So I will ordain it| للذين - for those who| يتقون - (are) righteous| ويؤتون - and give| الزكاة - zakah| والذين - and those who| هم - [they]| بآياتنا - in Our Verses,| يؤمنون - they believe.| | ||||||
| 2 [14:7] | Wa-ith taaththana rabbukumla-in shakartum laazeedannakum wala-in kafartum inna AAathabeelashadeedun | وإذ تأذن ربكم لئن شكرتم لأزيدنكم ولئن كفرتم إن عذابي لشديد وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ وَلَئِن كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيدٌ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| تأذن - proclaimed| ربكم - your Lord,| لئن - "If| شكرتم - you are thankful,| لأزيدنكم - surely I will increase you;| ولئن - but if| كفرتم - you are ungrateful| إن - indeed,| عذابي - My punishment| لشديد - (is) surely severe."| | ||||||
| 3 [15:50] | Waanna AAathabee huwa alAAathabual-aleemu | وأن عذابي هو العذاب الأليم وَ أَنَّ عَذَابِي هُوَ الْعَذَابُ الْأَلِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |وأن - And that| عذابي - My punishment,| هو - it| العذاب - (is) the punishment| الأليم - the most painful.| | ||||||
| 4 [54:16] | Fakayfa kana AAathabee wanuthuri | فكيف كان عذابي ونذر فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ | |||||
| Words | |فكيف - So how| كان - was| عذابي - My punishment| ونذر - and My warnings?| | ||||||
| 5 [54:18] | Kaththabat AAadun fakayfa kanaAAathabee wanuthuri | كذبت عاد فكيف كان عذابي ونذر كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ | |||||

| 8 [54:37] | Walaqad rawadoohu AAan dayfihifatamasna aAAyunahum fathooqoo AAathabeewanuthuri | ولقد راودوه عن ضيفه فطمسنا أعينهم فذوقوا عذابي ونذر وَلَقَدْ رَاوَدُوهُ عَن ضَيْفِهِ فَطَمَسْنَا أَعْيُنَهُمْ فَذُوقُوا عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| راودوه - they demanded from him| عن - they demanded from him| ضيفه - his guests,| فطمسنا - so We blinded| أعينهم - their eyes.| فذوقوا - "So taste| عذابي - My punishment| ونذر - and My warnings."| | ||||||
| 9 [54:39] | Fathooqoo AAathabee wanuthuri | فذوقوا عذابي ونذر فَذُوقُوا عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ | |||||
