| 1 [7:5] | Fama kana daAAwahum ithjaahum ba/suna illa an qaloo innakunna thalimeena |  فما كان دعواهم إذ جاءهم بأسنا إلا أن قالوا إنا كنا ظالمينفَمَا كَانَ دَعْوَاهُمْ إِذْ جَاءَهُمْ بَأْسُنَا إِلاَّ أَن قَالُواْ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ | |||||

| 2 [7:148] | Waittakhatha qawmu moosamin baAAdihi min huliyyihim AAijlan jasadan lahu khuwarunalam yaraw annahu la yukallimuhum wala yahdeehimsabeelan ittakhathoohu wakanoo thalimeena | واتخذ قوم موسى من بعده من حليهم عجلا جسدا له خوار ألم يروا أنه لا يكلمهم ولا يهديهم سبيلا اتخذوه وكانوا ظالمين وَاتَّخَذَ قَوْمُ مُوسَى مِن بَعْدِهِ مِنْ حُلِيِّهِمْ عِجْلاً جَسَدًا لَّهُ خُوَارٌ أَلَمْ يَرَوْاْ أَنَّهُ لاَ يُكَلِّمُهُمْ وَلاَ يَهْدِيهِمْ سَبِيلاً اتَّخَذُوهُ وَكَانُواْ ظَالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |واتخذ - And took| قوم - (the) people| موسى - (of) Musa,| من - from| بعده - after him| من - from| حليهم - their ornaments| عجلا - a calf -| جسدا - an image| له - [for] it| خوار - (had) a lowing sound.| ألم - Did not| يروا - they see| أنه - that it| لا - (could) not| يكلمهم - speak to them| ولا - and not| يهديهم - guide them| سبيلا - (to) a way?| اتخذوه - They took it (for worship)| وكانوا - and they were| ظالمين - wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 3 [8:54] | Kada/bi ali firAAawna waallatheenamin qablihim kaththaboo bi-ayati rabbihimfaahlaknahum bithunoobihim waaghraqna alafirAAawna wakullun kanoo thalimeena | كدأب آل فرعون والذين من قبلهم كذبوا بآيات ربهم فأهلكناهم بذنوبهم وأغرقنا آل فرعون وكل كانوا ظالمين كَدَأْبِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ وَالَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ كَذَّبُواْ بآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَغْرَقْنَا آلَ فِرْعَونَ وَكُلٌّ كَانُواْ ظَالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |كدأب - Like (the) way| آل - (of) people| فرعون - (of) Firaun| والذين - and those who| من - (were) from| قبلهم - before them.| كذبوا - They denied| بآيات - (the) Signs| ربهم - (of) their Lord,| فأهلكناهم - so We destroyed them| بذنوبهم - for their sins| وأغرقنا - and We drowned| آل - (the) people| فرعون - (of) Firaun| وكل - and (they) all| كانوا - were| ظالمين - wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 4 [21:14] | Qaloo ya waylana innakunna thalimeena | قالوا يا ويلنا إنا كنا ظالمين قَالُواْ يَا وَيْلَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| ويلنا - "O woe to us!| إنا - Indeed, [we]| كنا - we were| ظالمين - wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 5 [21:46] | Wala-in massat-hum nafhatun min AAathabirabbika layaqoolunna ya waylana inna kunnathalimeena | ولئن مستهم نفحة من عذاب ربك ليقولن يا ويلنا إنا كنا ظالمين وَلَئِن مَّسَّتْهُمْ نَفْحَةٌ مِّنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ يَا وَيْلَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولئن - And if| مستهم - touches them| نفحة - a whiff| من - of| عذاب - (the) punishment| ربك - (of) your Lord,| ليقولن - surely they will say,| يا - O| ويلنا - "O woe to us!| إنا - Indeed, we| كنا - [we] were| ظالمين - wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 6 [21:97] | Waiqtaraba alwaAAdu alhaqqufa-itha hiya shakhisatun absaru allatheenakafaroo ya waylana qad kunna fee ghaflatinmin hatha bal kunna thalimeena | واقترب الوعد الحق فإذا هي شاخصة أبصار الذين كفروا يا ويلنا قد كنا في غفلة من هذا بل كنا ظالمين وَاقْتَرَبَ الْوَعْدُ الْحَقُّ فَإِذَا هِيَ شَاخِصَةٌ أَبْصَارُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا قَدْ كُنَّا فِي غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هَذَا بَلْ كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |واقترب - And has approached| الوعد - the promise| الحق - [the] true| فإذا - then behold,| هي - [it]| شاخصة - (are) staring| أبصار - (the) eyes| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieved,| يا - O| ويلنا - "O woe to us!| قد - Verily,| كنا - we had been| في - in| غفلة - heedlessness| من - of| هذا - this;| بل - nay,| كنا - we were| ظالمين - wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 7 [26:209] | Thikra wama kunnathalimeena | ذكرى وما كنا ظالمين ذِكْرَى وَمَا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ | |||||

| 8 [29:31] | Walamma jaat rusulunaibraheema bialbushra qaloo innamuhlikoo ahli hathihi alqaryati inna ahlaha kanoothalimeena | ولما جاءت رسلنا إبراهيم بالبشرى قالوا إنا مهلكو أهل هذه القرية إن أهلها كانوا ظالمين وَلَمَّا جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ بِالْبُشْرَى قَالُوا إِنَّا مُهْلِكُواْ أَهْلِ هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ إِنَّ أَهْلَهَا كَانُوا ظَالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| جاءت - came| رسلنا - Our messengers| إبراهيم - (to) Ibrahim| بالبشرى - with the glad tidings| قالوا - they said,| إنا - "Indeed, we| مهلكو - (are) going to destroy| أهل - (the) people| هذه - (of) this| القرية - town.| إن - Indeed,| أهلها - its people| كانوا - are| ظالمين - wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 9 [68:29] | Qaloo subhana rabbinainna kunna thalimeena | قالوا سبحان ربنا إنا كنا ظالمين قَالُوا سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ | |||||
