| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[21:46] | Wala-in massat-hum nafhatun min AAathabirabbika layaqoolunna ya waylana inna kunnathalimeena
|  ولئن مستهم نفحة من عذاب ربك ليقولن يا ويلنا إنا كنا ظالمين
وَلَئِن مَّسَّتْهُمْ نَفْحَةٌ مِّنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ يَا وَيْلَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ |
| Words | |ولئن - And if| مستهم - touches them| نفحة - a whiff| من - of| عذاب - (the) punishment| ربك - (of) your Lord,| ليقولن - surely they will say,| يا - O| ويلنا - "O woe to us!| إنا - Indeed, we| كنا - [we] were| ظالمين - wrongdoers."| |

| ከጌታህ ቅጣትም ወላፈን ብትነካቸው «ዋ ጥፋታችን! እኛ በዳዮች ነበርን» ይላሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولئن مستهم نفحة } وقعة خفيفة { من عذاب ربك ليقولن يا } للتنبيه { ويلنا } هلاكنا { إنا كنا ظالمين } بالإشراك وتكذيب محمد . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আপনার পালনকর্তার আযাবের কিছুমাত্রও তাদেরকে স্পর্শ করলে তারা বলতে থাকবে, হায় আমাদের দুর্ভাগ্য, আমরা অবশ্যই পাপী ছিলাম। |
| Literal | And if a blow/breath from your Lord's torture touched them, they will say (E): "Oh our calamity , we (E) were unjust/oppressive." |
| Yusuf Ali | If but a breath of the Wrath of thy Lord do touch them, they will then say, "Woe to us! we did wrong indeed!" |
| Pickthal | And if a breath of thy Lord's punishment were to touch them, they assuredly would say: Alas for us! Lo! we were wrong-doers. |
