| 1 [2:102] | WaittabaAAoo ma tatloo alshshayateenuAAala mulki sulaymana wama kafara sulaymanuwalakinna alshshayateena kafarooyuAAallimoona alnnasa alssihra wamaonzila AAala almalakayni bibabila harootawamaroota wama yuAAallimani min ahadinhatta yaqoola innama nahnufitnatun fala takfur fayataAAallamoona minhuma mayufarriqoona bihi bayna almar-i wazawjihi wama hum bidarreenabihi min ahadin illa bi-ithni AllahiwayataAAallamoona ma yadurruhum walayanfaAAuhum walaqad AAalimoo lamani ishtarahu malahu fee al-akhirati min khalaqin walabi/sa masharaw bihi anfusahum law kanoo yaAAlamoona |  واتبعوا ما تتلو الشياطين على ملك سليمان وما كفر سليمان ولكن الشياطين كفروا يعلمون الناس السحر وما أنزل على الملكين ببابل هاروت وماروت وما يعلمان من أحد حتى يقولا إنما نحن فتنة فلا تكفر فيتعلمون منهما ما يفرقون به بين المرء وزوجه وما هم بضارين به من أحد إلا بإذن الله ويتعلمون ما يضرهم ولا ينفعهم ولقد علموا لمن اشتراه ما له في الآخرة من خلاق ولبئس ما شروا به أنفسهم لو كانوا يعلمونوَاتَّبَعُواْ مَا تَتْلُواْ الشَّيَاطِينُ عَلَى مُلْكِ سُلَيْمَانَ وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمَانُ وَلَـكِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُعَلِّمُونَ النَّاسَ السِّحْرَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ عَلَى الْمَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ هَارُوتَ وَمَارُوتَ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ حَتَّى يَقُولاَ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَلاَ تَكْفُرْ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِ وَمَا هُم بِضَآرِّينَ بِهِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلاَ يَنفَعُهُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمُواْ لَمَنِ اشْتَرَاهُ مَا لَهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلاَقٍ وَلَبِئْسَ مَا شَرَوْاْ بِهِ أَنفُسَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُواْ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واتبعوا - And they followed| ما - what| تتلو - recite(d)| الشياطين - the devils| على - over| ملك - (the) kingdom| سليمان - (of) Sulaiman.| وما - And not| كفر - disbelieved| سليمان - Sulaiman| ولكن - [and] but| الشياطين - the devils| كفروا - disbelieved,| يعلمون - they teach| الناس - the people| السحر - [the] magic| وما - and what| أنزل - was sent down| على - to| الملكين - the two angels| ببابل - in Babylon,| هاروت - Harut| وماروت - and Marut.| وما - And not| يعلمان - they both teach| من - any| أحد - one| حتى - unless| يقولا - they [both] say,| إنما - "Only| نحن - we| فتنة - (are) a trial,| فلا - so (do) not| تكفر - disbelieve."| فيتعلمون - But they learn| منهما - from those two| ما - what| يفرقون - [they] causes separation| به - with it| بين - between| المرء - the man| وزوجه - and his spouse.| وما - And not| هم - they (could)| بضارين - at all [be those who] harm| به - with it| من - any| أحد - one| إلا - except| بإذن - by permission| الله - (of) Allah.| ويتعلمون - And they learn| ما - what| يضرهم - harms them| ولا - and not| ينفعهم - profits them.| ولقد - And indeed| علموا - they knew| لمن - that whoever| اشتراه - buys it,| ما - not| له - for him| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| من - any| خلاق - share.| ولبئس - And surely evil| ما - (is) what| شروا - they sold| به - with it| أنفسهم - themselves,| لو - if| كانوا - they were| يعلمون - (to) know.| | ||||||
| 2 [21:79] | Fafahhamnaha sulaymanawakullan atayna hukman waAAilman wasakhkharnamaAAa dawooda aljibala yusabbihna waalttayrawakunna faAAileena | ففهمناها سليمان وكلا آتينا حكما وعلما وسخرنا مع داوود الجبال يسبحن والطير وكنا فاعلين فَفَهَّمْنَاهَا سُلَيْمَانَ وَكُلًّا آتَيْنَا حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَسَخَّرْنَا مَعَ دَاوُودَ الْجِبَالَ يُسَبِّحْنَ وَالطَّيْرَ وَكُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ففهمناها - And We gave understanding of it| سليمان - (to) Sulaiman,| وكلا - and (to) each| آتينا - We gave| حكما - judgment| وعلما - and knowledge.| وسخرنا - And We subjected| مع - with| داوود - Dawud| الجبال - the mountains| يسبحن - (to) glorify Our praises| والطير - and the birds.| وكنا - And We were| فاعلين - the Doers.| | ||||||
| 3 [27:16] | Wawaritha sulaymanu dawoodawaqala ya ayyuha alnnasuAAullimna mantiqa alttayri waooteenamin kulli shay-in inna hatha lahuwa alfadlualmubeenu | وورث سليمان داوود وقال يا أيها الناس علمنا منطق الطير وأوتينا من كل شيء إن هذا لهو الفضل المبين وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمَانُ دَاوُودَ وَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عُلِّمْنَا مَنطِقَ الطَّيْرِ وَأُوتِينَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ إِنَّ هَذَا لَهُوَ الْفَضْلُ الْمُبِينُ | |||||
| Words | |وورث - And inherited| سليمان - Sulaiman| داوود - Dawood.| وقال - And he said,| يا - O| أيها - "O| الناس - people!| علمنا - We have been taught| منطق - (the) language| الطير - (of) the birds,| وأوتينا - and we have been given| من - from| كل - every| شيء - thing.| إن - Indeed,| هذا - this| لهو - surely, it| الفضل - (is) the favor| المبين - evident."| | ||||||
| 4 [27:18] | Hatta itha ataw AAalawadi alnnamli qalat namlatun ya ayyuhaalnnamlu odkhuloo masakinakum la yahtimannakumsulaymanu wajunooduhu wahum la yashAAuroona | حتى إذا أتوا على واد النمل قالت نملة يا أيها النمل ادخلوا مساكنكم لا يحطمنكم سليمان وجنوده وهم لا يشعرون حَتَّى إِذَا أَتَوْا عَلَى وَادِي النَّمْلِ قَالَتْ نَمْلَةٌ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّمْلُ ادْخُلُوا مَسَاكِنَكُمْ لَا يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ سُلَيْمَانُ وَجُنُودُهُ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |حتى - Until,| إذا - when| أتوا - they came| على - to| واد - (the) valley| النمل - (of) the ants,| قالت - said| نملة - an ant,| يا - O| أيها - "O| النمل - ants!| ادخلوا - Enter| مساكنكم - your dwellings| لا - lest not crush you| يحطمنكم - lest not crush you| سليمان - Sulaiman| وجنوده - and his hosts| وهم - while they| لا - (do) not perceive."| يشعرون - (do) not perceive."| | ||||||
| 5 [27:30] | Innahu min sulaymana wa-innahu bismiAllahi alrrahmani alrraheemi | إنه من سليمان وإنه بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم إِنَّهُ مِن سُلَيْمَانَ وَإِنَّهُ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ | |||||
| Words | |إنه - Indeed, it| من - (is) from| سليمان - Sulaiman| وإنه - and indeed it (is),| بسم - "In the name| الله - (of) Allah,| الرحمن - the Most Gracious,| الرحيم - the Most Merciful,| | ||||||
| 6 [27:36] | Falamma jaa sulaymana qalaatumiddoonani bimalin fama ataniyaAllahu khayrun mimma atakum bal antumbihadiyyatikum tafrahoona | فلما جاء سليمان قال أتمدونن بمال فما آتاني الله خير مما آتاكم بل أنتم بهديتكم تفرحون فَلَمَّا جَاءَ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ أَتُمِدُّونَنِ بِمَالٍ فَمَا آتَانِيَ اللَّهُ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا آتَاكُم بَلْ أَنتُم بِهَدِيَّتِكُمْ تَفْرَحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| جاء - came| سليمان - (to) Sulaiman| قال - he said,| أتمدونن - "Will you provide me| بمال - with wealth?| فما - But what| آتاني - Allah has given me| الله - Allah has given me| خير - (is) better| مما - than what| آتاكم - He has given you.| بل - Nay,| أنتم - you| بهديتكم - in your gift| تفرحون - rejoice.| | ||||||
| 7 [27:44] | Qeela laha odkhulee alssarhafalamma raat-hu hasibat-hu lujjatan wakashafat AAansaqayha qala innahu sarhunmumarradun min qawareera qalat rabbi innee thalamtunafsee waaslamtu maAAa sulaymana lillahi rabbi alAAalameena | قيل لها ادخلي الصرح فلما رأته حسبته لجة وكشفت عن ساقيها قال إنه صرح ممرد من قوارير قالت رب إني ظلمت نفسي وأسلمت مع سليمان لله رب العالمين قِيلَ لَهَا ادْخُلِي الصَّرْحَ فَلَمَّا رَأَتْهُ حَسِبَتْهُ لُجَّةً وَكَشَفَتْ عَن سَاقَيْهَا قَالَ إِنَّهُ صَرْحٌ مُّمَرَّدٌ مِّن قَوَارِيرَ قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي وَأَسْلَمْتُ مَعَ سُلَيْمَانَ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قيل - It was said| لها - to her,| ادخلي - "Enter| الصرح - the palace."| فلما - Then when| رأته - she saw it,| حسبته - she thought it| لجة - (was) a pool,| وكشفت - and she uncovered| عن - [on]| ساقيها - her shins.| قال - He said,| إنه - "Indeed, it| صرح - (is) a palace| ممرد - made smooth| من - of| قوارير - glass."| قالت - She said,| رب - "My Lord,| إني - indeed, I| ظلمت - [I] have wronged| نفسي - myself,| وأسلمت - and I submit| مع - with| سليمان - Sulaiman| لله - to Allah,| رب - (the) Lord| العالمين - (of) the worlds."| | ||||||
| 8 [38:30] | Wawahabna lidawooda sulaymananiAAma alAAabdu innahu awwabun | ووهبنا لداوود سليمان نعم العبد إنه أواب وَوَهَبْنَا لِدَاوُودَ سُلَيْمَانَ نِعْمَ الْعَبْدُ إِنَّهُ أَوَّابٌ | |||||
| Words | |ووهبنا - And We gave| لداوود - to Dawood| سليمان - Sulaiman,| نعم - an excellent| العبد - slave.| إنه - Indeed, he| أواب - (was) one who repeatedly turned.| | ||||||
| 9 [38:34] | Walaqad fatanna sulaymanawaalqayna AAala kursiyyihi jasadan thumma anaba | ولقد فتنا سليمان وألقينا على كرسيه جسدا ثم أناب وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا سُلَيْمَانَ وَأَلْقَيْنَا عَلَى كُرْسِيِّهِ جَسَدًا ثُمَّ أَنَابَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| فتنا - We tried| سليمان - Sulaiman,| وألقينا - and We placed| على - on| كرسيه - his throne| جسدا - a body;| ثم - then| أناب - he turned.| | ||||||
