| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[38:30] | Wawahabna lidawooda sulaymananiAAma alAAabdu innahu awwabun
|  ووهبنا لداوود سليمان نعم العبد إنه أواب
وَوَهَبْنَا لِدَاوُودَ سُلَيْمَانَ نِعْمَ الْعَبْدُ إِنَّهُ أَوَّابٌ |
| Words | |ووهبنا - And We gave| لداوود - to Dawood| سليمان - Sulaiman,| نعم - an excellent| العبد - slave.| إنه - Indeed, he| أواب - (was) one who repeatedly turned.| |

| ለዳውድም ሱለይማንን ሰጠነው፡፡ ምን ያምር ባሪያ! (ሱለይማን)፣ እርሱ መላሳ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ووهبنا لداود سلمان } ابنه { نعم العبد } أي سليمان { إنه أوَّاب } رجّاع في التسبيح والذكر في جميع الأوقات . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি দাউদকে সোলায়মান দান করেছি। সে একজন উত্তম বান্দা। সে ছিল প্রত্যাবর্তনশীল। |
| Literal | And We granted to David Soliman, blessed/praised the slave/servant that he truly is repentant |
| Yusuf Ali | To David We gave Solomon (for a son),- How excellent in Our service! Ever did he turn (to Us)! |
