| 1 [7:71] | Qala qad waqaAAa AAalaykum minrabbikum rijsun waghadabun atujadiloonanee fee asma-insammaytumooha antum waabaokum manazzala Allahu biha min sultanin faintathirooinnee maAAakum mina almuntathireena |  قال قد وقع عليكم من ربكم رجس وغضب أتجادلونني في أسماء سميتموها أنتم وآباؤكم ما نزل الله بها من سلطان فانتظروا إني معكم من المنتظرينقَالَ قَدْ وَقَعَ عَلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ رِجْسٌ وَغَضَبٌ أَتُجَادِلُونَنِي فِي أَسْمَاءٍ سَمَّيْتُمُوهَا أَنتُمْ وَآبَآؤُكُم مَّا نَزَّلَ اللّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلْطَانٍ فَانتَظِرُواْ إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ الْمُنتَظِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| قد - "Verily| وقع - has fallen| عليكم - upon you| من - from| ربكم - your Lord| رجس - punishment| وغضب - and anger.| أتجادلونني - Do you dispute with me| في - concerning| أسماء - names| سميتموها - you have named them -| أنتم - you| وآباؤكم - and your forefathers| ما - Not| نزل - (has been) sent down| الله - (by) Allah| بها - for it| من - any| سلطان - authority?| فانتظروا - Then wait,| إني - indeed, I am| معكم - with you| من - of| المنتظرين - the ones who wait.| | ||||||
| 2 [10:68] | Qaloo ittakhatha Allahuwaladan subhanahu huwa alghaniyyu lahu ma fee alssamawatiwama fee al-ardi in AAindakum min sultaninbihatha ataqooloona AAala Allahi ma lataAAlamoona | قالوا اتخذ الله ولدا سبحانه هو الغني له ما في السماوات وما في الأرض إن عندكم من سلطان بهذا أتقولون على الله ما لا تعلمون قَالُواْ اتَّخَذَ اللّهُ وَلَدًا سُبْحَانَهُ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَات وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ إِنْ عِندَكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ بِهَـذَا أَتقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They say,| اتخذ - "Allah has taken| الله - "Allah has taken| ولدا - a son."| سبحانه - Glory be to Him!| هو - He| الغني - (is) the Self-sufficient.| له - To Him (belongs)| ما - whatever| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| وما - and whatever| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth.| إن - Not| عندكم - you have| من - any| سلطان - authority| بهذا - for this.| أتقولون - Do you say| على - about| الله - Allah| ما - what| لا - not| تعلمون - you know?| | ||||||
| 3 [12:40] | Ma taAAbudoona min doonihi illaasmaan sammaytumooha antum waabaokumma anzala Allahu biha min sultaninini alhukmu illa lillahi amara allataAAbudoo illa iyyahu thalika alddeenualqayyimu walakinna akthara alnnasi layaAAlamoona | ما تعبدون من دونه إلا أسماء سميتموها أنتم وآباؤكم ما أنزل الله بها من سلطان إن الحكم إلا لله أمر ألا تعبدوا إلا إياه ذلك الدين القيم ولكن أكثر الناس لا يعلمون مَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِهِ إِلاَّ أَسْمَاءً سَمَّيْتُمُوهَا أَنتُمْ وَآبَآؤُكُم مَّا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلْطَانٍ إِنِ الْحُكْمُ إِلاَّ لِلّهِ أَمَرَ أَلاَّ تَعْبُدُواْ إِلاَّ إِيَّاهُ ذَلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| تعبدون - you worship| من - besides Him| دونه - besides Him| إلا - but| أسماء - names| سميتموها - which you have named them,| أنتم - you| وآباؤكم - and your forefathers,| ما - not| أنزل - (has) sent down| الله - Allah| بها - for it| من - any| سلطان - authority.| إن - Not| الحكم - (is) the command| إلا - but| لله - for Allah.| أمر - He has commanded| ألا - that not| تعبدوا - you worship| إلا - but| إياه - Him Alone.| ذلك - That| الدين - (is) the religion| القيم - the right,| ولكن - but| أكثر - most| الناس - [the] men| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 4 [14:22] | Waqala alshshaytanulamma qudiya al-amru inna Allaha waAAadakumwaAAda alhaqqi wawaAAadtukum faakhlaftukum wama kanaliya AAalaykum min sultanin illa an daAAawtukum faistajabtumlee fala taloomoonee waloomoo anfusakum ma anabimusrikhikum wama antum bimusrikhiyya inneekafartu bima ashraktumooni min qablu inna alththalimeenalahum AAathabun aleemun | وقال الشيطان لما قضي الأمر إن الله وعدكم وعد الحق ووعدتكم فأخلفتكم وما كان لي عليكم من سلطان إلا أن دعوتكم فاستجبتم لي فلا تلوموني ولوموا أنفسكم ما أنا بمصرخكم وما أنتم بمصرخي إني كفرت بما أشركتمون من قبل إن الظالمين لهم عذاب أليم وَقَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ لَمَّا قُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ إِنَّ اللّهَ وَعَدَكُمْ وَعْدَ الْحَقِّ وَوَعَدتُّكُمْ فَأَخْلَفْتُكُمْ وَمَا كَانَ لِيَ عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ إِلاَّ أَن دَعَوْتُكُمْ فَاسْتَجَبْتُمْ لِي فَلاَ تَلُومُونِي وَلُومُواْ أَنفُسَكُم مَّا أَنَاْ بِمُصْرِخِكُمْ وَمَا أَنتُمْ بِمُصْرِخِيَّ إِنِّي كَفَرْتُ بِمَآ أَشْرَكْتُمُونِ مِن قَبْلُ إِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And will say| الشيطان - the Shaitaan,| لما - when| قضي - has been decided| الأمر - the matter,| إن - "Indeed,| الله - Allah| وعدكم - promised you| وعد - a promise| الحق - (of) truth.| ووعدتكم - And I promised you,| فأخلفتكم - but I betrayed you.| وما - But not| كان - I had| لي - I had| عليكم - over you| من - any| سلطان - authority| إلا - except| أن - that| دعوتكم - I invited you,| فاستجبتم - and you responded| لي - to me.| فلا - So (do) not| تلوموني - blame me,| ولوموا - but blame| أنفسكم - yourselves.| ما - Not| أنا - (can) I| بمصرخكم - (be) your helper| وما - and not| أنتم - you (can)| بمصرخي - (be) my helper.| إني - Indeed, I| كفرت - deny| بما - [of what]| أشركتمون - your association of me (with Allah)| من - before.| قبل - before.| إن - Indeed,| الظالمين - the wrongdoers,| لهم - for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful."| | ||||||
| 5 [15:42] | Inna AAibadee laysa laka AAalayhimsultanun illa mani ittabaAAaka mina alghaweena | إن عبادي ليس لك عليهم سلطان إلا من اتبعك من الغاوين إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانٌ إِلاَّ مَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْغَاوِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| عبادي - My slaves,| ليس - not| لك - you have| عليهم - over them| سلطان - any authority,| إلا - except| من - those who| اتبعك - follow you,| من - of| الغاوين - the ones who go astray."| | ||||||
| 6 [16:99] | Innahu laysa lahu sultanun AAalaallatheena amanoo waAAala rabbihimyatawakkaloona | إنه ليس له سلطان على الذين آمنوا وعلى ربهم يتوكلون إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَهُ سُلْطَانٌ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنه - Indeed he,| ليس - not| له - for him| سلطان - (is) any authority| على - on| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe| وعلى - and upon| ربهم - their Lord| يتوكلون - they put their trust.| | ||||||
| 7 [17:65] | Inna AAibadee laysa laka AAalayhimsultanun wakafa birabbika wakeelan | إن عبادي ليس لك عليهم سلطان وكفى بربك وكيلا إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانٌ وَكَفَى بِرَبِّكَ وَكِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |إن - "Indeed,| عبادي - My slaves| ليس - not| لك - for you| عليهم - over them| سلطان - any authority.| وكفى - And sufficient| بربك - (is) your Lord| وكيلا - (as) a Guardian."| | ||||||
| 8 [34:21] | Wama kana lahu AAalayhim minsultanin illa linaAAlama man yu/minu bial-akhiratimimman huwa minha fee shakkin warabbuka AAala kullishay-in hafeethun | وما كان له عليهم من سلطان إلا لنعلم من يؤمن بالآخرة ممن هو منها في شك وربك على كل شيء حفيظ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ إِلَّا لِنَعْلَمَ مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِالْآخِرَةِ مِمَّنْ هُوَ مِنْهَا فِي شَكٍّ وَرَبُّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَفِيظٌ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - was| له - for him| عليهم - over them| من - any| سلطان - authority| إلا - except| لنعلم - that We (might) make evident| من - who| يؤمن - believes| بالآخرة - in the Hereafter| ممن - from (one) who| هو - [he]| منها - about it| في - (is) in| شك - doubt.| وربك - And your Lord| على - over| كل - all| شيء - things| حفيظ - (is) a Guardian.| | ||||||
| 9 [37:30] | Wama kana lanaAAalaykum min sultanin bal kuntum qawman tagheena | وما كان لنا عليكم من سلطان بل كنتم قوما طاغين وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ بَلْ كُنتُمْ قَوْمًا طَاغِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - was| لنا - for us| عليكم - over you| من - any| سلطان - authority.| بل - Nay,| كنتم - you were| قوما - a people| طاغين - transgressing.| | ||||||
| 10 [37:156] | Am lakum sultanun mubeenun | أم لكم سلطان مبين أَمْ لَكُمْ سُلْطَانٌ مُّبِينٌ | |||||

| 11 [40:35] | Allatheena yujadiloona fee ayatiAllahi bighayri sultanin atahum kaburamaqtan AAinda Allahi waAAinda allatheena amanookathalika yatbaAAu Allahu AAala kulliqalbi mutakabbirin jabbarin | الذين يجادلون في آيات الله بغير سلطان أتاهم كبر مقتا عند الله وعند الذين آمنوا كذلك يطبع الله على كل قلب متكبر جبار الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي آيَاتِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَانٍ أَتَاهُمْ كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ اللَّهِ وَعِندَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كَذَلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ قَلْبِ مُتَكَبِّرٍ جَبَّارٍ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| يجادلون - dispute| في - concerning| آيات - (the) Signs| الله - (of) Allah| بغير - without| سلطان - any authority| أتاهم - (having) come to them,| كبر - (it) is greatly| مقتا - hateful| عند - near Allah| الله - near Allah| وعند - and near| الذين - those| آمنوا - who believe.| كذلك - Thus| يطبع - Allah sets a seal| الله - Allah sets a seal| على - over| كل - every| قلب - heart| متكبر - (of) an arrogant| جبار - tyrant."| | ||||||
| 12 [40:56] | Inna allatheena yujadiloonafee ayati Allahi bighayri sultanin atahumin fee sudoorihim illa kibrun ma hum bibaligheehifaistaAAith biAllahi innahu huwa alssameeAAualbaseeru | إن الذين يجادلون في آيات الله بغير سلطان أتاهم إن في صدورهم إلا كبر ما هم ببالغيه فاستعذ بالله إنه هو السميع البصير إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي آيَاتِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَانٍ أَتَاهُمْ إِن فِي صُدُورِهِمْ إِلَّا كِبْرٌ مَّا هُم بِبَالِغِيهِ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ | |||||

| 13 [53:23] | In hiya illa asmaonsammaytumooha antum waabaokum maanzala Allahu biha min sultanin inyattabiAAoona illa alththanna wamatahwa al-anfusu walaqad jaahum min rabbihimu alhuda | إن هي إلا أسماء سميتموها أنتم وآباؤكم ما أنزل الله بها من سلطان إن يتبعون إلا الظن وما تهوى الأنفس ولقد جاءهم من ربهم الهدى إِنْ هِيَ إِلَّا أَسْمَاءٌ سَمَّيْتُمُوهَا أَنتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُم مَّا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلْطَانٍ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهْوَى الْأَنفُسُ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُم مِّن رَّبِّهِمُ الْهُدَى | |||||
