| 1 [6:4] | Wama ta/teehim min ayatin min ayatirabbihim illa kanoo AAanha muAArideena |  وما تأتيهم من آية من آيات ربهم إلا كانوا عنها معرضينوَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ آيَةٍ مِّنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلاَّ كَانُواْ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| تأتيهم - comes to them| من - [of]| آية - any sign| من - from| آيات - (the) Signs| ربهم - (of) their Lord| إلا - but| كانوا - they are| عنها - from it| معرضين - turning away.| | ||||||
| 2 [6:158] | Hal yanthuroona illaan ta/tiyahumu almala-ikatu aw ya/tiya rabbuka aw ya/tiyabaAAdu ayati rabbika yawma ya/tee baAAduayati rabbika la yanfaAAu nafsan eemanuhalam takun amanat min qablu aw kasabat fee eemanihakhayran quli intathiroo inna muntathiroona | هل ينظرون إلا أن تأتيهم الملائكة أو يأتي ربك أو يأتي بعض آيات ربك يوم يأتي بعض آيات ربك لا ينفع نفسا إيمانها لم تكن آمنت من قبل أو كسبت في إيمانها خيرا قل انتظروا إنا منتظرون هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلاَّ أَن تَأْتِيهُمُ الْمَلَآئِكَةُ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ رَبُّكَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ بَعْضُ آيَاتِ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِي بَعْضُ آيَاتِ رَبِّكَ لاَ يَنفَعُ نَفْسًا إِيمَانُهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ آمَنَتْ مِن قَبْلُ أَوْ كَسَبَتْ فِي إِيمَانِهَا خَيْرًا قُلِ انتَظِرُواْ إِنَّا مُنتَظِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |هل - Are| ينظرون - they waiting| إلا - except| أن - that| تأتيهم - comes to them| الملائكة - the Angels| أو - or| يأتي - comes| ربك - your Lord| أو - or| يأتي - comes| بعض - some (of)| آيات - (the) Signs| ربك - (of) your Lord?| يوم - (The) Day| يأتي - (when) comes| بعض - some (of)| آيات - (the) Signs| ربك - (of) your Lord,| لا - not| ينفع - will benefit| نفسا - a soul| إيمانها - its faith,| لم - not| تكن - (if) it had| آمنت - believed| من - from| قبل - before| أو - or| كسبت - earned| في - through| إيمانها - its faith| خيرا - any good.| قل - Say,| انتظروا - "Wait.| إنا - Indeed, we| منتظرون - (are) those who wait."| | ||||||
| 3 [7:163] | Wais-alhum AAani alqaryati allatee kanathadirata albahri ith yaAAdoona fee alssabtiith ta/teehim heetanuhum yawma sabtihimshurraAAan wayawma la yasbitoona la ta/teehim kathalikanabloohum bima kanoo yafsuqoona | واسألهم عن القرية التي كانت حاضرة البحر إذ يعدون في السبت إذ تأتيهم حيتانهم يوم سبتهم شرعا ويوم لا يسبتون لا تأتيهم كذلك نبلوهم بما كانوا يفسقون وسْأَلْهُمْ عَنِ الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ حَاضِرَةَ الْبَحْرِ إِذْ يَعْدُونَ فِي السَّبْتِ إِذْ تَأْتِيهِمْ حِيتَانُهُمْ يَوْمَ سَبْتِهِمْ شُرَّعاً وَيَوْمَ لاَ يَسْبِتُونَ لاَ تَأْتِيهِمْ كَذَلِكَ نَبْلُوهُم بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واسألهم - And ask them| عن - about| القرية - the town| التي - which| كانت - was| حاضرة - situated| البحر - (by) the sea,| إذ - when| يعدون - they transgressed| في - in| السبت - the (matter of) Sabbath,| إذ - when| تأتيهم - came to them| حيتانهم - their fish| يوم - (on the) day| سبتهم - (of) their Sabbath| شرعا - visibly| ويوم - and (on the) day| لا - not| يسبتون - they had Sabbath| لا - (they did) not| تأتيهم - come to them.| كذلك - Thus| نبلوهم - We test them| بما - because| كانوا - they were| يفسقون - defiantly disobeying.| | ||||||
| 4 [12:107] | Afaaminoo an ta/tiyahum ghashiyatunmin AAathabi Allahi aw ta/tiyahumu alssaAAatubaghtatan wahum la yashAAuroona | أفأمنوا أن تأتيهم غاشية من عذاب الله أو تأتيهم الساعة بغتة وهم لا يشعرون أَفَأَمِنُواْ أَن تَأْتِيَهُمْ غَاشِيَةٌ مِّنْ عَذَابِ اللّهِ أَوْ تَأْتِيَهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لاَ يَشْعُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أفأمنوا - Do they then feel secure| أن - (against) that| تأتيهم - comes to them| غاشية - an overwhelming| من - [of]| عذاب - punishment| الله - (of) Allah,| أو - or| تأتيهم - comes to them| الساعة - the Hour| بغتة - suddenly| وهم - while they| لا - (do) not| يشعرون - perceive?| | ||||||
| 5 [16:33] | Hal yanthuroona illa anta/tiyahumu almala-ikatu aw ya/tiya amru rabbika kathalikafaAAala allatheena min qablihim wama thalamahumuAllahu walakin kanoo anfusahum yathlimoona | هل ينظرون إلا أن تأتيهم الملائكة أو يأتي أمر ربك كذلك فعل الذين من قبلهم وما ظلمهم الله ولكن كانوا أنفسهم يظلمون هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلاَّ أَن تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ رَبِّكَ كَذَلِكَ فَعَلَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللّهُ وَلـكِن كَانُواْ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ | |||||

| 6 [18:55] | Wama manaAAa alnnasa anyu/minoo ith jaahumu alhuda wayastaghfiroorabbahum illa an ta/tiyahum sunnatu al-awwaleena awya/tiyahumu alAAathabu qubulan | وما منع الناس أن يؤمنوا إذ جاءهم الهدى ويستغفروا ربهم إلا أن تأتيهم سنة الأولين أو يأتيهم العذاب قبلا وَمَا مَنَعَ النَّاسَ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا إِذْ جَاءَهُمُ الْهُدَى وَيَسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّهُمْ إِلاَّ أَن تَأْتِيَهُمْ سُنَّةُ الْأَوَّلِينَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ قُبُلاً | |||||
| Words | |وما - And nothing| منع - prevents| الناس - men| أن - that| يؤمنوا - they believe| إذ - when| جاءهم - has come to them| الهدى - the guidance| ويستغفروا - and they ask forgiveness| ربهم - (of) their Lord,| إلا - except| أن - that| تأتيهم - comes to them| سنة - (the) way| الأولين - (of) the former (people)| أو - or| يأتيهم - comes to them| العذاب - the punishment| قبلا - before (them)?| | ||||||
| 7 [21:40] | Bal ta/teehim baghtatan fatabhatuhum falayastateeAAoona raddaha wala hum yuntharoona | بل تأتيهم بغتة فتبهتهم فلا يستطيعون ردها ولا هم ينظرون بَلْ تَأْتِيهِم بَغْتَةً فَتَبْهَتُهُمْ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ رَدَّهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |بل - Nay,| تأتيهم - it will come to them| بغتة - unexpectedly| فتبهتهم - and bewilder them,| فلا - then not| يستطيعون - they will be able| ردها - to repel it,| ولا - and not| هم - they| ينظرون - will be given respite.| | ||||||
| 8 [22:55] | Wala yazalu allatheenakafaroo fee miryatin minhu hatta ta/tiyahumu alssaAAatubaghtatan aw ya/tiyahum AAathabu yawmin AAaqeemin | ولا يزال الذين كفروا في مرية منه حتى تأتيهم الساعة بغتة أو يأتيهم عذاب يوم عقيم وَلَا يَزَالُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِّنْهُ حَتَّى تَأْتِيَهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمٍ عَقِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And not| يزال - will cease| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve| في - (to be) in| مرية - doubt| منه - of it| حتى - until| تأتيهم - comes to them| الساعة - the Hour| بغتة - suddenly| أو - or| يأتيهم - comes to them| عذاب - (the) punishment| يوم - (of) a Day| عقيم - barren.| | ||||||

| 10 [40:22] | Thalika bi-annahum kanatta/teehim rusuluhum bialbayyinati fakafaroo faakhathahumuAllahu innahu qawiyyun shadeedu alAAiqabi | ذلك بأنهم كانت تأتيهم رسلهم بالبينات فكفروا فأخذهم الله إنه قوي شديد العقاب ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانَت تَّأْتِيهِمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَكَفَرُوا فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللَّهُ إِنَّهُ قَوِيٌّ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ | |||||
| Words | |ذلك - That| بأنهم - (was) because [they]| كانت - used to come to them| تأتيهم - used to come to them| رسلهم - their Messengers| بالبينات - with clear proofs| فكفروا - but they disbelieved,| فأخذهم - So Allah seized them.| الله - So Allah seized them.| إنه - Indeed, He| قوي - (is) All-Strong,| شديد - severe| العقاب - (in) punishment.| | ||||||
| 11 [43:66] | Hal yanthuroona illa alssaAAataan ta/tiyahum baghtatan wahum la yashAAuroona | هل ينظرون إلا الساعة أن تأتيهم بغتة وهم لا يشعرون هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا السَّاعَةَ أَن تَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ | |||||

| 12 [47:18] | Fahal yanthuroona illaalssaAAata an ta/tiyahum baghtatan faqad jaaashratuha faanna lahum itha jaat-humthikrahum | فهل ينظرون إلا الساعة أن تأتيهم بغتة فقد جاء أشراطها فأنى لهم إذا جاءتهم ذكراهم فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا السَّاعَةَ أَن تَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً فَقَدْ جَاءَ أَشْرَاطُهَا فَأَنَّى لَهُمْ إِذَا جَاءَتْهُمْ ذِكْرَاهُمْ | |||||
| Words | |فهل - Then do| ينظرون - they wait| إلا - but| الساعة - (for) the Hour| أن - that| تأتيهم - it should come to them| بغتة - suddenly?| فقد - But indeed,| جاء - have come| أشراطها - its indications.| فأنى - Then how| لهم - to them| إذا - when| جاءتهم - has come to them| ذكراهم - their reminder.| | ||||||
| 13 [64:6] | Thalika bi-annahu kanatta/teehim rusuluhum bialbayyinati faqalooabasharun yahdoonana fakafaroo watawallaw waistaghnaAllahu waAllahu ghaniyyun hameedun | ذلك بأنه كانت تأتيهم رسلهم بالبينات فقالوا أبشر يهدوننا فكفروا وتولوا واستغنى الله والله غني حميد ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُ كَانَت تَّأْتِيهِمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَقَالُوا أَبَشَرٌ يَهْدُونَنَا فَكَفَرُوا وَتَوَلَّوا وَّاسْتَغْنَى اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ | |||||
| Words | |ذلك - That| بأنه - (is) because| كانت - had| تأتيهم - come to them| رسلهم - their Messengers| بالبينات - with clear proofs,| فقالوا - but they said,| أبشر - "Shall human beings| يهدوننا - guide us?"| فكفروا - So they disbelieved| وتولوا - and turned away.| واستغنى - And can do without them| الله - Allah.| والله - And Allah| غني - (is) Self-sufficient,| حميد - Praiseworthy.| | ||||||
| 14 [98:1] | Lam yakuni allatheena kafaroo min ahlialkitabi waalmushrikeena munfakkeena hattata/tiyahumu albayyinatu | لم يكن الذين كفروا من أهل الكتاب والمشركين منفكين حتى تأتيهم البينة لَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّى تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ | |||||
