| 1 [2:99] | Walaqad anzalna ilayka ayatinbayyinatin wama yakfuru biha illa alfasiqoona |  ولقد أنزلنا إليك آيات بينات وما يكفر بها إلا الفاسقونوَلَقَدْ أَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ وَمَا يَكْفُرُ بِهَا إِلاَّ الْفَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And indeed| أنزلنا - We revealed| إليك - to you| آيات - Verses| بينات - clear,| وما - and not| يكفر - disbelieves| بها - in them| إلا - except| الفاسقون - the defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:132] | Wawassa biha ibraheemubaneehi wayaAAqoobu ya baniyya inna Allaha istafalakumu alddeena fala tamootunna illa waantummuslimoona | ووصى بها إبراهيم بنيه ويعقوب يا بني إن الله اصطفى لكم الدين فلا تموتن إلا وأنتم مسلمون وَوَصَّى بِهَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بَنِيهِ وَيَعْقُوبُ يَا بَنِيَّ إِنَّ اللّهَ اصْطَفَى لَكُمُ الدِّينَ فَلاَ تَمُوتُنَّ إَلاَّ وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ووصى - And enjoined| بها - [it]| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| بنيه - (upon) his sons| ويعقوب - and Yaqub,| يا - O| بني - "O my sons!| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| اصطفى - has chosen| لكم - for you| الدين - the religion,| فلا - so not| تموتن - (should) you die| إلا - except| وأنتم - while you| مسلمون - (are) submissive."| | ||||||
| 3 [2:188] | Wala ta/kuloo amwalakumbaynakum bialbatili watudloo biha ilaalhukkami lita/kuloo fareeqan min amwali alnnasibial-ithmi waantum taAAlamoona | ولا تأكلوا أموالكم بينكم بالباطل وتدلوا بها إلى الحكام لتأكلوا فريقا من أموال الناس بالإثم وأنتم تعلمون وَلاَ تَأْكُلُواْ أَمْوَالَكُم بَيْنَكُم بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتُدْلُواْ بِهَا إِلَى الْحُكَّامِ لِتَأْكُلُواْ فَرِيقًا مِّنْ أَمْوَالِ النَّاسِ بِالْإِثْمِ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||

| 4 [2:258] | Alam tara ila allathee hajjaibraheema fee rabbihi an atahu Allahualmulka ith qala ibraheemu rabbiya allatheeyuhyee wayumeetu qala ana ohyeewaomeetu qala ibraheemu fa-inna Allahaya/tee bialshshamsi mina almashriqi fa/ti biha minaalmaghribi fabuhita allathee kafara waAllahula yahdee alqawma alththalimeena | ألم تر إلى الذي حاج إبراهيم في ربه أن آتاه الله الملك إذ قال إبراهيم ربي الذي يحيي ويميت قال أنا أحيي وأميت قال إبراهيم فإن الله يأتي بالشمس من المشرق فأت بها من المغرب فبهت الذي كفر والله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِي حَآجَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي رَبِّهِ أَنْ آتَاهُ اللّهُ الْمُلْكَ إِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّيَ الَّذِي يُحْيِـي وَيُمِيتُ قَالَ أَنَا أُحْيِـي وَأُمِيتُ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ يَأْتِي بِالشَّمْسِ مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ فَأْتِ بِهَا مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ فَبُهِتَ الَّذِي كَفَرَ وَاللّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Did not| تر - you see| إلى - [towards]| الذي - the one who| حاج - argued| إبراهيم - (with) Ibrahim| في - concerning| ربه - his Lord,| أن - because| آتاه - gave him| الله - Allah| الملك - the kingdom?| إذ - When| قال - Said| إبراهيم - Ibrahim,| ربي - "My Lord| الذي - (is) the One Who| يحيي - grants life| ويميت - and causes death."| قال - He said,| أنا - "I| أحيي - give life| وأميت - and cause death."| قال - Said| إبراهيم - Ibrahim,| فإن - "[Then] indeed| الله - Allah| يأتي - brings up| بالشمس - the sun| من - from| المشرق - the east,| فأت - so you bring| بها - it| من - from| المغرب - the west."| فبهت - So became dumbfounded| الذي - the one who| كفر - disbelieved,| والله - and Allah| لا - (does) not| يهدي - guide| القوم - the people| الظالمين - (who are) [the] wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 5 [3:120] | In tamsaskum hasanatun tasu/humwa-in tusibkum sayyi-atun yafrahoo bihawa-in tasbiroo watattaqoo la yadurrukumkayduhum shay-an inna Allaha bima yaAAmaloona muheetun | إن تمسسكم حسنة تسؤهم وإن تصبكم سيئة يفرحوا بها وإن تصبروا وتتقوا لا يضركم كيدهم شيئا إن الله بما يعملون محيط إِن تَمْسَسْكُمْ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْ وَإِن تُصِبْكُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَفْرَحُواْ بِهَا وَإِن تَصْبِرُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ لاَ يَضُرُّكُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْئًا إِنَّ اللّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌ | |||||

| 6 [4:11] | Yooseekumu Allahu fee awladikumlilththakari mithlu haththialonthayayni fa-in kunna nisaan fawqa ithnatayni falahunnathulutha ma taraka wa-in kanat wahidatanfalaha alnnisfu wali-abawayhi likulli wahidinminhuma alssudusu mimma taraka in kanalahu waladun fa-in lam yakun lahu waladun wawarithahu abawahufali-ommihi alththuluthu fa-in kana lahu ikhwatunfali-ommihi alssudusu min baAAdi wasiyyatin yooseebiha aw daynin abaokum waabnaokum latadroona ayyuhum aqrabu lakum nafAAan fareedatan mina Allahiinna Allaha kana AAaleeman hakeeman | يوصيكم الله في أولادكم للذكر مثل حظ الأنثيين فإن كن نساء فوق اثنتين فلهن ثلثا ما ترك وإن كانت واحدة فلها النصف ولأبويه لكل واحد منهما السدس مما ترك إن كان له ولد فإن لم يكن له ولد وورثه أبواه فلأمه الثلث فإن كان له إخوة فلأمه السدس من بعد وصية يوصي بها أو دين آباؤكم وأبناؤكم لا تدرون أيهم أقرب لكم نفعا فريضة من الله إن الله كان عليما حكيما يُوصِيكُمُ اللّهُ فِي أَوْلاَدِكُمْ لِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الْأُنثَيَيْنِ فَإِن كُنَّ نِسَاءً فَوْقَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُنَّ ثُلُثَا مَا تَرَكَ وَإِن كَانَتْ وَاحِدَةً فَلَهَا النِّصْفُ وَلِأَبَوَيْهِ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ مِمَّا تَرَكَ إِن كَانَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ فَإِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّهُ وَلَدٌ وَوَرِثَهُ أَبَوَاهُ فَلِأُمِّهِ الثُّلُثُ فَإِن كَانَ لَهُ إِخْوَةٌ فَلِأُمِّهِ السُّدُسُ مِن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصِي بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ آبَآؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَاؤُكُمْ لاَ تَدْرُونَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ لَكُمْ نَفْعاً فَرِيضَةً مِّنَ اللّهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |يوصيكم - Instructs you| الله - Allah| في - concerning| أولادكم - your children -| للذكر - for the male| مثل - like| حظ - (the) portion| الأنثيين - (of) two females.| فإن - But if| كن - there are| نساء - (only) women| فوق - more (than)| اثنتين - two,| فلهن - then for them| ثلثا - two thirds| ما - (of) what| ترك - he left.| وإن - And if| كانت - (there) is| واحدة - (only) one,| فلها - then for her| النصف - (is) half.| ولأبويه - And for his parents,| لكل - for each| واحد - one| منهما - of them| السدس - a sixth| مما - of what| ترك - (is) left,| إن - if| كان - is| له - for him| ولد - a child.| فإن - But if| لم - not| يكن - is| له - for him| ولد - any child| وورثه - and inherit[ed] him| أبواه - his parents,| فلأمه - then for his mother| الثلث - (is) one third.| فإن - And if| كان - are| له - for him| إخوة - brothers and sisters,| فلأمه - then for his mother| السدس - (is) the sixth| من - from| بعد - after| وصية - any will| يوصي - he has made| بها - [of which]| أو - or| دين - any debt.| آباؤكم - Your parents| وأبناؤكم - and your children -| لا - not| تدرون - you know| أيهم - which of them| أقرب - (is) nearer| لكم - to you| نفعا - (in) benefit.| فريضة - An obligation| من - from| الله - Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| عليما - All-Knowing,| حكيما - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 7 [4:12] | Walakum nisfu ma taraka azwajukumin lam yakun lahunna waladun fa-in kana lahunna waladunfalakumu alrrubuAAu mimma tarakna min baAAdi wasiyyatinyooseena biha aw daynin walahunna alrrubuAAumimma taraktum in lam yakun lakum waladun fa-in kanalakum waladun falahunna alththumunu mimma taraktummin baAAdi wasiyyatin toosoona biha awdaynin wa-in kana rajulun yoorathu kalalatan awiimraatun walahu akhun aw okhtun falikulli wahidin minhumaalssudusu fa-in kanoo akthara min thalikafahum shurakao fee alththuluthi min baAAdi wasiyyatinyoosa biha aw daynin ghayra mudarrin wasiyyatanmina Allahi waAllahu AAaleemun haleemun | ولكم نصف ما ترك أزواجكم إن لم يكن لهن ولد فإن كان لهن ولد فلكم الربع مما تركن من بعد وصية يوصين بها أو دين ولهن الربع مما تركتم إن لم يكن لكم ولد فإن كان لكم ولد فلهن الثمن مما تركتم من بعد وصية توصون بها أو دين وإن كان رجل يورث كلالة أو امرأة وله أخ أو أخت فلكل واحد منهما السدس فإن كانوا أكثر من ذلك فهم شركاء في الثلث من بعد وصية يوصى بها أو دين غير مضار وصية من الله والله عليم حليم وَلَكُمْ نِصْفُ مَا تَرَكَ أَزْوَاجُكُمْ إِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّهُنَّ وَلَدٌ فَإِن كَانَ لَهُنَّ وَلَدٌ فَلَكُمُ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكْنَ مِن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصِينَ بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ وَلَهُنَّ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ إِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّكُمْ وَلَدٌ فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ وَلَدٌ فَلَهُنَّ الثُّمُنُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُم مِّن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ تُوصُونَ بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ وَإِن كَانَ رَجُلٌ يُورَثُ كَلاَلَةً أَوِ امْرَأَةٌ وَلَهُ أَخٌ أَوْ أُخْتٌ فَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ فَإِن كَانُواْ أَكْثَرَ مِن ذَلِكَ فَهُمْ شُرَكَاءُ فِي الثُّلُثِ مِن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصَى بِهَآ أَوْ دَيْنٍ غَيْرَ مُضَآرٍّ وَصِيَّةً مِّنَ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولكم - And for you| نصف - (is) half| ما - (of) what| ترك - (is) left| أزواجكم - by your wives| إن - if| لم - not| يكن - is| لهن - for them| ولد - a child.| فإن - But if| كان - is| لهن - for them| ولد - a child,| فلكم - then for you| الربع - (is) the fourth| مما - of what| تركن - they left,| من - from| بعد - after| وصية - any will| يوصين - they have made| بها - [for which]| أو - or| دين - any debt.| ولهن - And for them| الربع - (is) the fourth| مما - of what| تركتم - you left,| إن - if| لم - not| يكن - is| لكم - for you| ولد - a child.| فإن - But if| كان - is| لكم - for you| ولد - a child,| فلهن - then for them| الثمن - (is) the eighth| مما - of what| تركتم - you left| من - from| بعد - after| وصية - any will| توصون - you have made| بها - [for which]| أو - or| دين - any debt.| وإن - And if| كان - [is]| رجل - a man| يورث - (whose wealth) is to be inherited| كلالة - (has) no parent or child| أو - or| امرأة - a women| وله - and for him| أخ - (is) a brother| أو - or| أخت - a sister,| فلكل - then for each| واحد - one| منهما - of (the) two| السدس - (is) the sixth.| فإن - But if| كانوا - they are| أكثر - more| من - than| ذلك - that,| فهم - then they| شركاء - (are) partners| في - in| الثلث - the third,| من - from| بعد - after| وصية - any will| يوصى - was made| بها - [for which]| أو - or| دين - any debt| غير - without| مضار - (being) harmful.| وصية - An ordinance| من - from| الله - Allah.| والله - And Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knowing,| حليم - All-Forbearing.| | ||||||
| 8 [4:140] | Waqad nazzala AAalaykum fee alkitabian itha samiAAtum ayati Allahiyukfaru biha wayustahzao biha fala taqAAudoomaAAahum hatta yakhoodoo fee hadeethinghayrihi innakum ithan mithluhum inna Allaha jamiAAualmunafiqeena waalkafireena fee jahannamajameeAAan | وقد نزل عليكم في الكتاب أن إذا سمعتم آيات الله يكفر بها ويستهزأ بها فلا تقعدوا معهم حتى يخوضوا في حديث غيره إنكم إذا مثلهم إن الله جامع المنافقين والكافرين في جهنم جميعا وَقَدْ نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الْكِتَابِ أَنْ إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ آيَاتِ اللّهِ يُكْفَرُ بِهَا وَيُسْتَهْزَأُ بِهَا فَلاَ تَقْعُدُواْ مَعَهُمْ حَتَّى يَخُوضُواْ فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِ إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا مِّثْلُهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ جَامِعُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْكَافِرِينَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ جَمِيعًا | |||||
| Words | |وقد - And surely| نزل - He has revealed| عليكم - to you| في - in| الكتاب - the Book| أن - that| إذا - when| سمعتم - you hear| آيات - (the) Verses| الله - (of) Allah| يكفر - being rejected| بها - [it]| ويستهزأ - and ridiculed| بها - at [it],| فلا - then do not| تقعدوا - sit| معهم - with them| حتى - until| يخوضوا - they engage| في - in| حديث - a conversation| غيره - other than that.| إنكم - Indeed, you| إذا - then,| مثلهم - (would be) like them.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| جامع - will gather| المنافقين - the hypocrites| والكافرين - and the disbelievers| في - in| جهنم - Hell| جميعا - all together.| | ||||||
| 9 [5:44] | Inna anzalna alttawratafeeha hudan wanoorun yahkumu biha alnnabiyyoonaallatheena aslamoo lillatheena hadoo waalrrabbaniyyoonawaal-ahbaru bima istuhfithoomin kitabi Allahi wakanoo AAalayhi shuhadaafala takhshawoo alnnasa waikhshawniwala tashtaroo bi-ayatee thamanan qaleelanwaman lam yahkum bima anzala Allahu faola-ikahumu alkafiroona | إنا أنزلنا التوراة فيها هدى ونور يحكم بها النبيون الذين أسلموا للذين هادوا والربانيون والأحبار بما استحفظوا من كتاب الله وكانوا عليه شهداء فلا تخشوا الناس واخشون ولا تشتروا بآياتي ثمنا قليلا ومن لم يحكم بما أنزل الله فأولئك هم الكافرون إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَا التَّوْرَاةَ فِيهَا هُدًى وَنُورٌ يَحْكُمُ بِهَا النَّبِيُّونَ الَّذِينَ أَسْلَمُواْ لِلَّذِينَ هَادُواْ وَالرَّبَّانِيُّونَ وَالْأَحْبَارُ بِمَا اسْتُحْفِظُواْ مِن كِتَابِ اللّهِ وَكَانُواْ عَلَيْهِ شُهَدَاءَ فَلاَ تَخْشَوُاْ النَّاسَ وَاخْشَوْنِ وَلاَ تَشْتَرُواْ بِآيَاتِي ثَمَنًا قَلِيلاً وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنا - Indeed,| أنزلنا - We revealed| التوراة - the Taurat| فيها - in it| هدى - (was) Guidance| ونور - and light;| يحكم - judged| بها - by it| النبيون - the Prophets,| الذين - those who| أسلموا - had submitted (to Allah)| للذين - for those who| هادوا - were Jews,| والربانيون - and the Rabbis,| والأحبار - and the scholars,| بما - with what| استحفظوا - they were entrusted| من - of| كتاب - (the) Book| الله - (of) Allah| وكانوا - and they were| عليه - to it| شهداء - witnesses.| فلا - So (do) not| تخشوا - fear| الناس - the people| واخشون - but fear Me,| ولا - and (do) not| تشتروا - sell| بآياتي - My Verses| ثمنا - (for) a price,| قليلا - little.| ومن - And whoever| لم - (does) not| يحكم - judge| بما - by what| أنزل - has revealed| الله - Allah,| فأولئك - then those| هم - [they]| الكافرون - (are) the disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 10 [5:102] | Qad saalaha qawmun min qablikumthumma asbahoo biha kafireena | قد سألها قوم من قبلكم ثم أصبحوا بها كافرين قَدْ سَأَلَهَا قَوْمٌ مِّن قَبْلِكُمْ ثُمَّ أَصْبَحُواْ بِهَا كَافِرِينَ | |||||

| 11 [6:25] | Waminhum man yastamiAAu ilayka wajaAAalnaAAala quloobihim akinnatan an yafqahoohu wafee athanihimwaqran wa-in yaraw kulla ayatin la yu/minoo bihahatta itha jaooka yujadiloonakayaqoolu allatheena kafaroo in hatha illa asateerual-awwaleena | ومنهم من يستمع إليك وجعلنا على قلوبهم أكنة أن يفقهوه وفي آذانهم وقرا وإن يروا كل آية لا يؤمنوا بها حتى إذا جاءوك يجادلونك يقول الذين كفروا إن هذا إلا أساطير الأولين وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْكَ وَجَعَلْنَا عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِي آذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًا وَإِن يَرَوْاْ كُلَّ آيَةٍ لاَّ يُؤْمِنُواْ بِهَا حَتَّى إِذَا جَآؤُوكَ يُجَادِلُونَكَ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ إِنْ هَذَآ إِلاَّ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ومنهم - And among them| من - (are those) who| يستمع - listen| إليك - to you,| وجعلنا - but We have placed| على - over| قلوبهم - their hearts| أكنة - coverings| أن - lest| يفقهوه - they understand it,| وفي - and in| آذانهم - their ears| وقرا - deafness.| وإن - And if| يروا - they see| كل - every| آية - sign| لا - not| يؤمنوا - will they believe| بها - in it.| حتى - Until,| إذا - when| جاءوك - they come to you| يجادلونك - and argue with you| يقول - say| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved,| إن - "Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - but| أساطير - (the) tales| الأولين - (of) the former (people)."| | ||||||
| 12 [6:89] | Ola-ika allatheena ataynahumualkitaba waalhukma waalnnubuwwatafa-in yakfur biha haola-i faqad wakkalnabiha qawman laysoo biha bikafireena | أولئك الذين آتيناهم الكتاب والحكم والنبوة فإن يكفر بها هؤلاء فقد وكلنا بها قوما ليسوا بها بكافرين أُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ فَإِن يَكْفُرْ بِهَا هَـؤُلاَءِ فَقَدْ وَكَّلْنَا بِهَا قَوْمًا لَّيْسُواْ بِهَا بِكَافِرِينَ | |||||

| 13 [6:97] | Wahuwa allathee jaAAala lakumu alnnujoomalitahtadoo biha fee thulumati albarriwaalbahri qad fassalna al-ayatiliqawmin yaAAlamoona | وهو الذي جعل لكم النجوم لتهتدوا بها في ظلمات البر والبحر قد فصلنا الآيات لقوم يعلمون وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ النُّجُومَ لِتَهْتَدُواْ بِهَا فِي ظُلُمَاتِ الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||

| 14 [6:109] | Waaqsamoo biAllahi jahda aymanihimla-in jaat-hum ayatun layu/minunna biha qulinnama al-ayatu AAinda Allahi wamayushAAirukum annaha itha jaat layu/minoona | وأقسموا بالله جهد أيمانهم لئن جاءتهم آية ليؤمنن بها قل إنما الآيات عند الله وما يشعركم أنها إذا جاءت لا يؤمنون وَأَقْسَمُواْ بِاللّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ لَئِن جَاءَتْهُمْ آيَةٌ لَّيُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهَا قُلْ إِنَّمَا الْآيَاتُ عِندَ اللّهِ وَمَا يُشْعِرُكُمْ أَنَّهَا إِذَا جَاءَتْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأقسموا - And they swear| بالله - by Allah| جهد - strongest| أيمانهم - (of) their oaths| لئن - that if| جاءتهم - came to them| آية - a sign,| ليؤمنن - they would surely believe| بها - in it.| قل - Say,| إنما - "Only| الآيات - the signs| عند - (are) with| الله - Allah."| وما - And what| يشعركم - will make you perceive| أنها - that [it]| إذا - when| جاءت - it comes| لا - not| يؤمنون - they will believe.| | ||||||
| 15 [7:28] | Wa-itha faAAaloo fahishatan qaloowajadna AAalayha abaana waAllahuamarana biha qul inna Allaha laya/muru bialfahsha-i ataqooloona AAalaAllahi ma la taAAlamoona | وإذا فعلوا فاحشة قالوا وجدنا عليها آباءنا والله أمرنا بها قل إن الله لا يأمر بالفحشاء أتقولون على الله ما لا تعلمون وَإِذَا فَعَلُواْ فَاحِشَةً قَالُواْ وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهَا آبَاءَنَا وَاللّهُ أَمَرَنَا بِهَا قُلْ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْفَحْشَاءِ أَتَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| فعلوا - they do| فاحشة - immorality| قالوا - they say,| وجدنا - "We found| عليها - on it| آباءنا - our forefathers| والله - and Allah| أمرنا - (has) ordered us| بها - of it."| قل - Say,| إن - "Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يأمر - order| بالفحشاء - immorality.| أتقولون - Do you say| على - about| الله - Allah| ما - what| لا - not| تعلمون - you know?"| | ||||||
| 16 [7:71] | Qala qad waqaAAa AAalaykum minrabbikum rijsun waghadabun atujadiloonanee fee asma-insammaytumooha antum waabaokum manazzala Allahu biha min sultanin faintathirooinnee maAAakum mina almuntathireena | قال قد وقع عليكم من ربكم رجس وغضب أتجادلونني في أسماء سميتموها أنتم وآباؤكم ما نزل الله بها من سلطان فانتظروا إني معكم من المنتظرين قَالَ قَدْ وَقَعَ عَلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ رِجْسٌ وَغَضَبٌ أَتُجَادِلُونَنِي فِي أَسْمَاءٍ سَمَّيْتُمُوهَا أَنتُمْ وَآبَآؤُكُم مَّا نَزَّلَ اللّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلْطَانٍ فَانتَظِرُواْ إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ الْمُنتَظِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| قد - "Verily| وقع - has fallen| عليكم - upon you| من - from| ربكم - your Lord| رجس - punishment| وغضب - and anger.| أتجادلونني - Do you dispute with me| في - concerning| أسماء - names| سميتموها - you have named them -| أنتم - you| وآباؤكم - and your forefathers| ما - Not| نزل - (has been) sent down| الله - (by) Allah| بها - for it| من - any| سلطان - authority?| فانتظروا - Then wait,| إني - indeed, I am| معكم - with you| من - of| المنتظرين - the ones who wait.| | ||||||
| 17 [7:80] | Walootan ith qalaliqawmihi ata/toona alfahishata ma sabaqakum bihamin ahadin mina alAAalameena | ولوطا إذ قال لقومه أتأتون الفاحشة ما سبقكم بها من أحد من العالمين وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ أَتَأْتُونَ الْفَاحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُم بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِّنَ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولوطا - And Lut,| إذ - when| قال - he said| لقومه - to his people,| أتأتون - "Do you commit| الفاحشة - (such) immorality| ما - not| سبقكم - has preceded you| بها - therein| من - any| أحد - one| من - of| العالمين - the worlds?| | ||||||
| 18 [7:103] | Thumma baAAathna min baAAdihim moosabi-ayatina ila firAAawna wamala-ihifathalamoo biha faonuthurkayfa kana AAaqibatu almufsideena | ثم بعثنا من بعدهم موسى بآياتنا إلى فرعون وملئه فظلموا بها فانظر كيف كان عاقبة المفسدين ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِم مُّوسَى بِآيَاتِنَا إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِ فَظَلَمُواْ بِهَا فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُفْسِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| بعثنا - We sent| من - from| بعدهم - after them| موسى - Musa| بآياتنا - with Our Signs| إلى - to| فرعون - Firaun| وملئه - and his chiefs,| فظلموا - But they were unjust| بها - to them.| فانظر - So see| كيف - how| كان - was| عاقبة - (the) end| المفسدين - (of) the corrupters.| | ||||||
| 19 [7:106] | Qala in kunta ji/ta bi-ayatinfa/ti biha in kunta mina alssadiqeena | قال إن كنت جئت بآية فأت بها إن كنت من الصادقين قَالَ إِن كُنتَ جِئْتَ بِآيَةٍ فَأْتِ بِهَا إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| إن - "If| كنت - you have| جئت - come| بآية - with a Sign,| فأت - then bring| بها - it| إن - if| كنت - you are| من - of| الصادقين - the truthful."| | ||||||
| 20 [7:132] | Waqaloo mahma ta/tinabihi min ayatin litasharana biha famanahnu laka bimu/mineena | وقالوا مهما تأتنا به من آية لتسحرنا بها فما نحن لك بمؤمنين وَقَالُواْ مَهْمَا تَأْتِنَا بِهِ مِن آيَةٍ لِّتَسْحَرَنَا بِهَا فَمَا نَحْنُ لَكَ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
