| 2 [20:135] | Qul kullun mutarabbisun fatarabbasoofasataAAlamoona man as-habu alssiratialssawiyyi wamani ihtada | قل كل متربص فتربصوا فستعلمون من أصحاب الصراط السوي ومن اهتدى قُلْ كُلٌّ مُّتَرَبِّصٌ فَتَرَبَّصُوا فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَصْحَابُ الصِّرَاطِ السَّوِيِّ وَمَنِ اهْتَدَى | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| كل - "Each| متربص - (is) waiting;| فتربصوا - so await.| فستعلمون - Then you will know| من - who| أصحاب - (are the) companions| الصراط - (of) the way| السوي - [the] even,| ومن - and who| اهتدى - is guided."| | ||||||
| 3 [23:74] | Wa-inna allatheena layu/minoona bial-akhirati AAani alssiratilanakiboona | وإن الذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة عن الصراط لناكبون وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ عَنِ الصِّرَاطِ لَنَاكِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And indeed,| الذين - those who| لا - (do) not| يؤمنون - believe| بالآخرة - in the Hereafter| عن - from| الصراط - the path| لناكبون - surely (are) deviating.| | ||||||
| 4 [36:66] | Walaw nashao latamasnaAAala aAAyunihim faistabaqoo alssiratafaanna yubsiroona | ولو نشاء لطمسنا على أعينهم فاستبقوا الصراط فأنى يبصرون وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَى أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَاسْتَبَقُوا الصِّرَاطَ فَأَنَّى يُبْصِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| نشاء - We willed,| لطمسنا - We (would have) surely obliterated| على - [over]| أعينهم - their eyes,| فاستبقوا - then they (would) race| الصراط - (to find) the path,| فأنى - then how| يبصرون - (could) they see?| | ||||||
| 5 [37:118] | Wahadaynahuma alssirataalmustaqeema | وهديناهما الصراط المستقيم وَهَدَيْنَاهُمَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ | |||||

| 6 [38:22] | Ith dakhaloo AAala dawoodafafaziAAa minhum qaloo la takhaf khasmanibagha baAAduna AAala baAAdinfaohkum baynana bialhaqqi walatushtit waihdina ila sawa-ialssirati | إذ دخلوا على داوود ففزع منهم قالوا لا تخف خصمان بغى بعضنا على بعض فاحكم بيننا بالحق ولا تشطط واهدنا إلى سواء الصراط إِذْ دَخَلُوا عَلَى دَاوُودَ فَفَزِعَ مِنْهُمْ قَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ خَصْمَانِ بَغَى بَعْضُنَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا تُشْطِطْ وَاهْدِنَا إِلَى سَوَاءِ الصِّرَاطِ | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| دخلوا - they entered| على - upon| داوود - Dawood| ففزع - and he was afraid| منهم - of them,| قالوا - they said,| لا - "(Do) not| تخف - fear.| خصمان - (We are) two litigants,| بغى - has wronged| بعضنا - one of us| على - to| بعض - another,| فاحكم - so judge| بيننا - between us| بالحق - in truth| ولا - and (do) not| تشطط - be unjust| واهدنا - and guide us| إلى - to| سواء - an even| الصراط - [the] path.| | ||||||
