| 1 [6:100] | WajaAAaloo lillahi shurakaaaljinna wakhalaqahum wakharaqoo lahu baneena wabanatinbighayri AAilmin subhanahu wataAAala AAammayasifoona |  وجعلوا لله شركاء الجن وخلقهم وخرقوا له بنين وبنات بغير علم سبحانه وتعالى عما يصفونوَجَعَلُواْ لِلّهِ شُرَكَاءَ الْجِنَّ وَخَلَقَهُمْ وَخَرَقُواْ لَهُ بَنِينَ وَبَنَاتٍ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وجعلوا - And they make| لله - with Allah| شركاء - partners -| الجن - jinn| وخلقهم - though He has created them,| وخرقوا - and they falsely attribute| له - to Him| بنين - sons| وبنات - and daughters| بغير - without| علم - knowledge.| سبحانه - Glorified is He| وتعالى - and Exalted| عما - above what| يصفون - they attribute.| | ||||||
| 2 [6:128] | Wayawma yahshuruhum jameeAAan yamaAAshara aljinni qadi istakthartum mina al-insi waqalaawliyaohum mina al-insi rabbana istamtaAAa baAAdunabibaAAdin wabalaghna ajalana allatheeajjalta lana qala alnnaru mathwakumkhalideena feeha illa ma shaaAllahu inna rabbaka hakeemun AAaleemun | ويوم يحشرهم جميعا يا معشر الجن قد استكثرتم من الإنس وقال أولياؤهم من الإنس ربنا استمتع بعضنا ببعض وبلغنا أجلنا الذي أجلت لنا قال النار مثواكم خالدين فيها إلا ما شاء الله إن ربك حكيم عليم وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ قَدِ اسْتَكْثَرْتُم مِّنَ الْإِنسِ وَقَالَ أَوْلِيَآؤُهُم مِّنَ الْإِنسِ رَبَّنَا اسْتَمْتَعَ بَعْضُنَا بِبَعْضٍ وَبَلَغْنَا أَجَلَنَا الَّذِي أَجَّلْتَ لَنَا قَالَ النَّارُ مَثْوَاكُمْ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا إِلاَّ مَا شَاءَ اللّهُ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَليمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ويوم - And (the) Day| يحشرهم - He will gather them| جميعا - all,| يا - O| معشر - (and will say), "O assembly| الجن - (of) [the] jinn!| قد - Certainly,| استكثرتم - you have (misled) many| من - of| الإنس - the mankind."| وقال - And will say| أولياؤهم - their friends| من - among| الإنس - the men,| ربنا - "Our Lord| استمتع - profited| بعضنا - some of us| ببعض - by others,| وبلغنا - and we have reached| أجلنا - our term| الذي - which| أجلت - You appointed| لنا - for us."| قال - He will say,| النار - "The Fire| مثواكم - (is) your abode,| خالدين - will abide forever| فيها - in it,| إلا - except| ما - (for) what| شاء - wills| الله - Allah| إن - Indeed,| ربك - your Lord| حكيم - (is) All-Wise,| عليم - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 3 [6:130] | Ya maAAshara aljinni waal-insialam ya/tikum rusulun minkum yaqussoona AAalaykum ayateewayunthiroonakum liqaa yawmikum hatha qalooshahidna AAala anfusina wagharrat-humu alhayatualddunya washahidoo AAala anfusihim annahumkanoo kafireena | يا معشر الجن والإنس ألم يأتكم رسل منكم يقصون عليكم آياتي وينذرونكم لقاء يومكم هذا قالوا شهدنا على أنفسنا وغرتهم الحياة الدنيا وشهدوا على أنفسهم أنهم كانوا كافرين يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّنكُمْ يَقُصُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِي وَيُنذِرُونَكُمْ لِقَاءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَـذَا قَالُواْ شَهِدْنَا عَلَى أَنفُسِنَا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَشَهِدُواْ عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ كَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| معشر - O assembly| الجن - (of) [the] jinn| والإنس - and [the] men!| ألم - Did (there) not| يأتكم - come to you| رسل - Messengers| منكم - from (among) you,| يقصون - relating| عليكم - to you| آياتي - My Verses| وينذرونكم - and warning you| لقاء - (of the) meeting| يومكم - (of) your day,| هذا - this?"| قالوا - They will say,| شهدنا - "We bear witness| على - against| أنفسنا - ourselves."| وغرتهم - And deluded them| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world,| وشهدوا - and they will bear witness| على - against| أنفسهم - themselves| أنهم - that they| كانوا - were| كافرين - disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 4 [7:38] | Qala odkhuloo fee omamin qad khalatmin qablikum mina aljinni waal-insi fee alnnarikullama dakhalat ommatun laAAanat okhtaha hattaitha iddarakoo feeha jameeAAan qalatokhrahum li-oolahum rabbana haola-iadalloona faatihim AAathaban diAAfanmina alnnari qala likullin diAAfunwalakin la taAAlamoona | قال ادخلوا في أمم قد خلت من قبلكم من الجن والإنس في النار كلما دخلت أمة لعنت أختها حتى إذا اداركوا فيها جميعا قالت أخراهم لأولاهم ربنا هؤلاء أضلونا فآتهم عذابا ضعفا من النار قال لكل ضعف ولكن لا تعلمون قَالَ ادْخُلُواْ فِي أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِكُم مِّنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ فِي النَّارِ كُلَّمَا دَخَلَتْ أُمَّةٌ لَّعَنَتْ أُخْتَهَا حَتَّى إِذَا ادَّارَكُواْ فِيهَا جَمِيعًا قَالَتْ أُخْرَاهُمْ لِأُولاَهُمْ رَبَّنَا هَـؤُلاَءِ أَضَلُّونَا فَآتِهِمْ عَذَابًا ضِعْفًا مِّنَ النَّارِ قَالَ لِكُلٍّ ضِعْفٌ وَلَـكِن لاَّ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He (will) say,| ادخلوا - "Enter| في - among| أمم - (the) nations| قد - (who)| خلت - passed away| من - from| قبلكم - before you| من - of| الجن - the jinn| والإنس - and the men| في - in| النار - the Fire."| كلما - Every time| دخلت - entered| أمة - a nation| لعنت - it cursed| أختها - its sister (nation)| حتى - until| إذا - when| اداركوا - they had overtaken one another| فيها - in it| جميعا - all,| قالت - (will) say| أخراهم - (the) last of them| لأولاهم - about the first of them,| ربنا - "Our Lord,| هؤلاء - these| أضلونا - misled us| فآتهم - so give them| عذابا - punishment,| ضعفا - double,| من - of| النار - the Fire."| قال - He (will) say,| لكل - "For each| ضعف - (is) a double| ولكن - [and] but| لا - not| تعلمون - you know."| | ||||||
| 5 [7:179] | Walaqad thara/na lijahannamakatheeran mina aljinni waal-insi lahum quloobun layafqahoona biha walahum aAAyunun la yubsiroonabiha walahum athanun la yasmaAAoona bihaola-ika kaal-anAAami bal hum adalluola-ika humu alghafiloona | ولقد ذرأنا لجهنم كثيرا من الجن والإنس لهم قلوب لا يفقهون بها ولهم أعين لا يبصرون بها ولهم آذان لا يسمعون بها أولئك كالأنعام بل هم أضل أولئك هم الغافلون وَلَقَدْ ذَرَأْنَا لِجَهَنَّمَ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ لاَّ يَفْقَهُونَ بِهَا وَلَهُمْ أَعْيُنٌ لاَّ يُبْصِرُونَ بِهَا وَلَهُمْ آذَانٌ لاَّ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا أُوْلَـئِكَ كَالْأَنْعَامِ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ أُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْغَافِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| ذرأنا - We have created| لجهنم - for Hell| كثيرا - many| من - of| الجن - the jinn| والإنس - and men.| لهم - For them| قلوب - (are) hearts| لا - (but) not| يفقهون - they understand| بها - with them,| ولهم - and for them| أعين - (are) eyes| لا - (but) not| يبصرون - they see| بها - with them,| ولهم - and for them| آذان - (are) ears| لا - (but) not| يسمعون - they hear| بها - with them.| أولئك - Those| كالأنعام - (are) like cattle,| بل - nay| هم - they| أضل - (are) more astray.| أولئك - Those -| هم - they| الغافلون - (are) the heedless.| | ||||||
| 6 [18:50] | Wa-ith qulna lilmala-ikatiosjudoo li-adama fasajadoo illa ibleesa kanamina aljinni fafasaqa AAan amri rabbihi afatattakhithoonahuwathurriyyatahu awliyaa min doonee wahum lakumAAaduwwun bi/sa lilththalimeena badalan | وإذ قلنا للملائكة اسجدوا لآدم فسجدوا إلا إبليس كان من الجن ففسق عن أمر ربه أفتتخذونه وذريته أولياء من دوني وهم لكم عدو بئس للظالمين بدلا وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلاَئِكَةِ اسْجُدُوا لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا إِلاَّ إِبْلِيسَ كَانَ مِنَ الْجِنِّ فَفَسَقَ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِ أَفَتَتَّخِذُونَهُ وَذُرِّيَّتَهُ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِن دُونِي وَهُمْ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ بِئْسَ لِلظَّالِمِينَ بَدَلاً | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قلنا - We said| للملائكة - to the Angels,| اسجدوا - "Prostrate| لآدم - to Adam,"| فسجدوا - so they prostrated| إلا - except| إبليس - Iblis.| كان - (He) was| من - of| الجن - the jinn,| ففسق - and he rebelled| عن - against| أمر - the Command| ربه - (of) his Lord.| أفتتخذونه - Will you then take him| وذريته - and his offspring| أولياء - (as) protectors| من - other than Me,| دوني - other than Me,| وهم - while they| لكم - (are) to you| عدو - enemies?| بئس - Wretched| للظالمين - for the wrongdoers| بدلا - (is) the exchange.| | ||||||
| 7 [27:17] | Wahushira lisulaymanajunooduhu mina aljinni waal-insi waalttayrifahum yoozaAAoona | وحشر لسليمان جنوده من الجن والإنس والطير فهم يوزعون وَحُشِرَ لِسُلَيْمَانَ جُنُودُهُ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ وَالطَّيْرِ فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وحشر - And were gathered| لسليمان - for Sulaiman| جنوده - his hosts| من - of| الجن - jinn| والإنس - and the men| والطير - and the birds,| فهم - and they| يوزعون - (were) set in rows.| | ||||||
| 8 [27:39] | Qala AAifreetun mina aljinni anaateeka bihi qabla an taqooma min maqamika wa-inneAAalayhi laqawiyyun ameenun | قال عفريت من الجن أنا آتيك به قبل أن تقوم من مقامك وإني عليه لقوي أمين قَالَ عِفْرِيتٌ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ أَنَا آتِيكَ بِهِ قَبْلَ أَن تَقُومَ مِن مَّقَامِكَ وَإِنِّي عَلَيْهِ لَقَوِيٌّ أَمِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |قال - Said| عفريت - a strong one| من - of| الجن - the jinn,| أنا - "I| آتيك - will bring it to you| به - will bring it to you| قبل - before| أن - [that]| تقوم - you rise| من - from| مقامك - your place.| وإني - And indeed, I am| عليه - for it| لقوي - surely, strong,| أمين - trustworthy."| | ||||||
| 9 [34:12] | Walisulaymana alrreehaghuduwwuha shahrun warawahuha shahrunwaasalna lahu AAayna alqitri wamina aljinni manyaAAmalu bayna yadayhi bi-ithni rabbihi waman yazighminhum AAan amrina nuthiqhu min AAathabi alssaAAeeri | ولسليمان الريح غدوها شهر ورواحها شهر وأسلنا له عين القطر ومن الجن من يعمل بين يديه بإذن ربه ومن يزغ منهم عن أمرنا نذقه من عذاب السعير وَلِسُلَيْمَانَ الرِّيحَ غُدُوُّهَا شَهْرٌ وَرَوَاحُهَا شَهْرٌ وَأَسَلْنَا لَهُ عَيْنَ الْقِطْرِ وَمِنَ الْجِنِّ مَن يَعْمَلُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِ وَمَن يَزِغْ مِنْهُمْ عَنْ أَمْرِنَا نُذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ | |||||
| Words | |ولسليمان - And to Sulaiman,| الريح - the wind -| غدوها - its morning course| شهر - (was) a month| ورواحها - and its afternoon course| شهر - (was) a month,| وأسلنا - and We caused to flow| له - for him| عين - a spring| القطر - (of) molten copper.| ومن - And [of]| الجن - the jinn| من - who| يعمل - worked| بين - before him| يديه - before him| بإذن - by the permission| ربه - (of) his Lord.| ومن - And whoever| يزغ - deviated| منهم - among them| عن - from| أمرنا - Our Command,| نذقه - We will make him taste| من - of| عذاب - (the) punishment| السعير - (of) the Blaze.| | ||||||
| 10 [34:14] | Falamma qadaynaAAalayhi almawta ma dallahum AAala mawtihi illadabbatu al-ardi ta/kulu minsaatahu falammakharra tabayyanati aljinnu an law kanoo yaAAlamoonaalghayba ma labithoo fee alAAathabi almuheeni | فلما قضينا عليه الموت ما دلهم على موته إلا دابة الأرض تأكل منسأته فلما خر تبينت الجن أن لو كانوا يعلمون الغيب ما لبثوا في العذاب المهين فَلَمَّا قَضَيْنَا عَلَيْهِ الْمَوْتَ مَا دَلَّهُمْ عَلَى مَوْتِهِ إِلَّا دَابَّةُ الْأَرْضِ تَأْكُلُ مِنسَأَتَهُ فَلَمَّا خَرَّ تَبَيَّنَتِ الْجِنُّ أَن لَّوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ الْغَيْبَ مَا لَبِثُوا فِي الْعَذَابِ الْمُهِينِ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - Then when| قضينا - We decreed| عليه - for him| الموت - the death,| ما - not| دلهم - indicated to them| على - [on]| موته - his death| إلا - except| دابة - a creature| الأرض - (of) the earth| تأكل - eating| منسأته - his staff.| فلما - But when| خر - he fell down,| تبينت - became clear| الجن - (to) the jinn| أن - that| لو - if| كانوا - they had| يعلمون - known| الغيب - the unseen,| ما - not| لبثوا - they (would have) remained| في - in| العذاب - the punishment| المهين - humiliating.| | ||||||
| 11 [34:41] | Qaloo subhanaka anta waliyyunamin doonihim bal kanoo yaAAbudoona aljinna aktharuhumbihim mu/minoona | قالوا سبحانك أنت ولينا من دونهم بل كانوا يعبدون الجن أكثرهم بهم مؤمنون قَالُوا سُبْحَانَكَ أَنتَ وَلِيُّنَا مِن دُونِهِم بَلْ كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ الْجِنَّ أَكْثَرُهُم بِهِم مُّؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They will say,| سبحانك - "Glory be to You!| أنت - You| ولينا - (are) our Protector,| من - not them.| دونهم - not them.| بل - Nay,| كانوا - they used| يعبدون - (to) worship| الجن - the jinn,| أكثرهم - most of them| بهم - in them| مؤمنون - (were) believers."| | ||||||
| 12 [41:25] | Waqayyadna lahum quranaafazayyanoo lahum ma bayna aydeehim wama khalfahumwahaqqa AAalayhimu alqawlu fee omamin qad khalat minqablihim mina aljinni waal-insi innahum kanoo khasireena | وقيضنا لهم قرناء فزينوا لهم ما بين أيديهم وما خلفهم وحق عليهم القول في أمم قد خلت من قبلهم من الجن والإنس إنهم كانوا خاسرين وَقَيَّضْنَا لَهُمْ قُرَنَاءَ فَزَيَّنُوا لَهُم مَّا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ فِي أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا خَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقيضنا - And We have destined| لهم - for them| قرناء - companions| فزينوا - (who) made fair-seeming| لهم - to them,| ما - what| بين - (was) before them| أيديهم - (was) before them| وما - and what| خلفهم - (was) behind them,| وحق - and (is) justified| عليهم - against them| القول - the Word| في - among| أمم - nations| قد - (that have) passed away| خلت - (that have) passed away| من - before them| قبلهم - before them| من - of| الجن - the jinn| والإنس - and the men.| إنهم - Indeed, they| كانوا - were| خاسرين - losers.| | ||||||
| 13 [41:29] | Waqala allatheena kafaroorabbana arina allathayni adallanamina aljinni waal-insi najAAalhuma tahta aqdaminaliyakoona mina al-asfaleena | وقال الذين كفروا ربنا أرنا اللذين أضلانا من الجن والإنس نجعلهما تحت أقدامنا ليكونا من الأسفلين وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا رَبَّنَا أَرِنَا الَّذَيْنِ أَضَلَّانَا مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ نَجْعَلْهُمَا تَحْتَ أَقْدَامِنَا لِيَكُونَا مِنَ الْأَسْفَلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And (will) say| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| أرنا - Show us| اللذين - those who| أضلانا - misled us| من - of| الجن - the jinn| والإنس - and the men,| نجعلهما - (so) we may put them| تحت - under| أقدامنا - our feet,| ليكونا - that they be| من - of| الأسفلين - the lowest."| | ||||||
| 14 [46:18] | Ola-ika allatheena haqqaAAalayhimu alqawlu fee umamin qad khalat min qablihim minaaljinni waal-insi innahum kanoo khasireena | أولئك الذين حق عليهم القول في أمم قد خلت من قبلهم من الجن والإنس إنهم كانوا خاسرين أُوْلَئِكَ الَّذِينَ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ فِي أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا خَاسِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those -| الذين - (are) the ones| حق - (has) proved true| عليهم - against them| القول - the word| في - among| أمم - nations| قد - (that) already passed away| خلت - (that) already passed away| من - before them| قبلهم - before them| من - of| الجن - (the) jinn| والإنس - and the men.| إنهم - Indeed, they| كانوا - are| خاسرين - (the) losers.| | ||||||
| 15 [46:29] | Wa-ith sarafna ilaykanafaran mina aljinni yastamiAAoona alqur-ana falammahadaroohu qaloo ansitoo falammaqudiya wallaw ila qawmihim munthireena | وإذ صرفنا إليك نفرا من الجن يستمعون القرآن فلما حضروه قالوا أنصتوا فلما قضي ولوا إلى قومهم منذرين وَإِذْ صَرَفْنَا إِلَيْكَ نَفَرًا مِّنَ الْجِنِّ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقُرْآنَ فَلَمَّا حَضَرُوهُ قَالُوا أَنصِتُوا فَلَمَّا قُضِيَ وَلَّوْا إِلَى قَوْمِهِم مُّنذِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| صرفنا - We directed| إليك - to you| نفرا - a party| من - of| الجن - the jinn,| يستمعون - listening| القرآن - (to) the Quran.| فلما - And when| حضروه - they attended it,| قالوا - they said,| أنصتوا - "Listen quietly."| فلما - And when| قضي - it was concluded,| ولوا - they turned back| إلى - to| قومهم - their people| منذرين - (as) warners.| | ||||||
| 16 [51:56] | Wama khalaqtu aljinna waal-insailla liyaAAbudooni | وما خلقت الجن والإنس إلا ليعبدون وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| خلقت - I have created| الجن - the jinn| والإنس - and the mankind| إلا - except| ليعبدون - that they worship Me.| | ||||||
| 17 [55:33] | Ya maAAshara aljinni waal-insiini istataAAtum an tanfuthoo min aqtari alssamawatiwaal-ardi faonfuthoo la tanfuthoonailla bisultanin | يا معشر الجن والإنس إن استطعتم أن تنفذوا من أقطار السماوات والأرض فانفذوا لا تنفذون إلا بسلطان يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُوا مِنْ أَقْطَارِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَانفُذُوا لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَانٍ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| معشر - O assembly| الجن - (of) the jinn| والإنس - and the men!| إن - If| استطعتم - you are able| أن - to| تنفذوا - pass beyond| من - [of]| أقطار - (the) regions| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| فانفذوا - then pass.| لا - Not| تنفذون - you (can) pass| إلا - except| بسلطان - by authority.| | ||||||
| 18 [72:1] | Qul oohiya ilayya annahu istamaAAanafarun mina aljinni faqaloo inna samiAAnaqur-anan AAajaban | قل أوحي إلي أنه استمع نفر من الجن فقالوا إنا سمعنا قرآنا عجبا قُلْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّهُ اسْتَمَعَ نَفَرٌ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْآنًا عَجَبًا | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| أوحي - "It has been revealed| إلي - to me| أنه - that| استمع - listened| نفر - a group| من - of| الجن - the jinn,| فقالوا - and they said,| إنا - "Indeed, we| سمعنا - heard| قرآنا - a Quran| عجبا - amazing,| | ||||||
| 19 [72:6] | Waannahu kana rijalun minaal-insi yaAAoothoona birijalin mina aljinni fazadoohumrahaqan | وأنه كان رجال من الإنس يعوذون برجال من الجن فزادوهم رهقا وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ رِجَالٌ مِّنَ الْإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٍ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمْ رَهَقًا | |||||
