| 1 [18:59] | Watilka alqura ahlaknahum lammathalamoo wajaAAalna limahlikihim mawAAidan |  وتلك القرى أهلكناهم لما ظلموا وجعلنا لمهلكهم موعداوَتِلْكَ الْقُرَى أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُوا وَجَعَلْنَا لِمَهْلِكِهِم مَّوْعِدًا | |||||
| Words | |وتلك - And these| القرى - [the] towns,| أهلكناهم - We destroyed them| لما - when| ظلموا - they wronged,| وجعلنا - and We made| لمهلكهم - for their destruction| موعدا - an appointed time.| | ||||||
| 2 [20:134] | Walaw anna ahlaknahum biAAathabinmin qablihi laqaloo rabbana lawla arsaltailayna rasoolan fanattabiAAa ayatika minqabli an nathilla wanakhza | ولو أنا أهلكناهم بعذاب من قبله لقالوا ربنا لولا أرسلت إلينا رسولا فنتبع آياتك من قبل أن نذل ونخزى وَلَوْ أَنَّا أَهْلَكْنَاهُم بِعَذَابٍ مِّن قَبْلِهِ لَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا لَوْلَا أَرْسَلْتَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولًا فَنَتَّبِعَ آيَاتِكَ مِن قَبْلِ أَن نَّذِلَّ وَنَخْزَى | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أنا - We| أهلكناهم - (had) destroyed them| بعذاب - with a punishment| من - before him,| قبله - before him,| لقالوا - surely they (would) have said,| ربنا - "Our Lord,| لولا - why not| أرسلت - You sent| إلينا - to us| رسولا - a Messenger,| فنتبع - so we (could) have followed| آياتك - Your signs| من - before| قبل - before| أن - [that]| نذل - we were humiliated| ونخزى - and disgraced."| | ||||||
| 3 [44:37] | Ahum khayrun am qawmu tubbaAAin waallatheenamin qablihim ahlaknahum innahum kanoo mujrimeena | أهم خير أم قوم تبع والذين من قبلهم أهلكناهم إنهم كانوا مجرمين أَهُمْ خَيْرٌ أَمْ قَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ وَالَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا مُجْرِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |أهم - Are they| خير - better| أم - or| قوم - (the) people| تبع - (of) Tubba| والذين - and those| من - before them?| قبلهم - before them?| أهلكناهم - We destroyed them,| إنهم - indeed, they| كانوا - were| مجرمين - criminals.| | ||||||
| 4 [47:13] | Wakaayyin min qaryatin hiya ashaddu quwwatanmin qaryatika allatee akhrajatka ahlaknahum fala nasiralahum | وكأين من قرية هي أشد قوة من قريتك التي أخرجتك أهلكناهم فلا ناصر لهم وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ هِيَ أَشَدُّ قُوَّةً مِّن قَرْيَتِكَ الَّتِي أَخْرَجَتْكَ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ فَلَا نَاصِرَ لَهُمْ | |||||
