| 1 [2:187] | Ohilla lakum laylata alssiyamialrrafathu ila nisa-ikum hunna libasunlakum waantum libasun lahunna AAalima Allahuannakum kuntum takhtanoona anfusakum fatabaAAalaykum waAAafa AAankum faal-ana bashiroohunnawaibtaghoo ma kataba Allahu lakum wakuloo waishraboohatta yatabayyana lakumu alkhaytu al-abyadumina alkhayti al-aswadi mina alfajri thumma atimmoo alssiyamaila allayli wala tubashiroohunna waantum AAakifoonafee almasajidi tilka hudoodu Allahi falataqrabooha kathalika yubayyinu Allahu ayatihililnnasi laAAallahum yattaqoona |  أحل لكم ليلة الصيام الرفث إلى نسائكم هن لباس لكم وأنتم لباس لهن علم الله أنكم كنتم تختانون أنفسكم فتاب عليكم وعفا عنكم فالآن باشروهن وابتغوا ما كتب الله لكم وكلوا واشربوا حتى يتبين لكم الخيط الأبيض من الخيط الأسود من الفجر ثم أتموا الصيام إلى الليل ولا تباشروهن وأنتم عاكفون في المساجد تلك حدود الله فلا تقربوها كذلك يبين الله آياته للناس لعلهم يتقونأُحِلَّ لَكُمْ لَيْلَةَ الصِّيَامِ الرَّفَثُ إِلَى نِسَآئِكُمْ هُنَّ لِبَاسٌ لَّكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لِبَاسٌ لَّهُنَّ عَلِمَ اللّهُ أَنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَخْتَانُونَ أَنفُسَكُمْ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَعَفَا عَنكُمْ فَالْآنَ بَاشِرُوهُنَّ وَابْتَغُواْ مَا كَتَبَ اللّهُ لَكُمْ وَكُلُواْ وَاشْرَبُواْ حَتَّى يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمُ الْخَيْطُ الْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الْخَيْطِ الْأَسْوَدِ مِنَ الْفَجْرِ ثُمَّ أَتِمُّواْ الصِّيَامَ إِلَى الَّيْلِ وَلاَ تُبَاشِرُوهُنَّ وَأَنتُمْ عَاكِفُونَ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللّهِ فَلاَ تَقْرَبُوهَا كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّهُ آيَاتِهِ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أحل - Permitted| لكم - for you| ليلة - (in the) nights| الصيام - (of) fasting| الرفث - (is) the approach| إلى - to| نسائكم - your wives.| هن - They| لباس - (are) garments| لكم - for you| وأنتم - and you| لباس - (are) garments| لهن - for them.| علم - Knows| الله - Allah| أنكم - that you| كنتم - used to| تختانون - deceive| أنفسكم - yourselves,| فتاب - so He turned| عليكم - towards you| وعفا - and He forgave| عنكم - [on] you.| فالآن - So now| باشروهن - have relations with them| وابتغوا - and seek| ما - what| كتب - has ordained| الله - Allah| لكم - for you.| وكلوا - And eat| واشربوا - and drink| حتى - until| يتبين - becomes distinct| لكم - to you| الخيط - the thread| الأبيض - [the] white| من - from| الخيط - the thread| الأسود - [the] black| من - of| الفجر - [the] dawn.| ثم - Then| أتموا - complete| الصيام - the fast| إلى - till| الليل - the night.| ولا - And (do) not| تباشروهن - have relations with them| وأنتم - while you| عاكفون - (are) secluded| في - in| المساجد - the masajid.| تلك - These| حدود - (are the) limits| الله - (set by) Allah,| فلا - so (do) not| تقربوها - approach them.| كذلك - Thus| يبين - makes clear| الله - Allah| آياته - His verses| للناس - for [the] people| لعلهم - so that they may| يتقون - (become) righteous.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:203] | Waothkuroo Allaha feeayyamin maAAdoodatin faman taAAajjala fee yawmaynifala ithma AAalayhi waman taakhkhara fala ithmaAAalayhi limani ittaqa waittaqoo Allaha waiAAlamooannakum ilayhi tuhsharoona | واذكروا الله في أيام معدودات فمن تعجل في يومين فلا إثم عليه ومن تأخر فلا إثم عليه لمن اتقى واتقوا الله واعلموا أنكم إليه تحشرون وَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَّعْدُودَاتٍ فَمَن تَعَجَّلَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ فَلاَ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ وَمَن تَأَخَّرَ فَلَا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ لِمَنِ اتَّقَى وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واذكروا - And remember| الله - Allah| في - during| أيام - days| معدودات - numbered.| فمن - Then (he) who| تعجل - hurries| في - in| يومين - two days| فلا - then no| إثم - sin| عليه - upon him,| ومن - and whoever| تأخر - delays| فلا - then no| إثم - sin| عليه - upon him| لمن - for (the one) who| اتقى - fears.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| واعلموا - and know| أنكم - that you| إليه - unto Him| تحشرون - will be gathered.| | ||||||
| 3 [2:223] | Nisaokum harthun lakum fa/tooharthakum anna shi/tum waqaddimoo li-anfusikum waittaqooAllaha waiAAlamoo annakum mulaqoohuwabashshiri almu/mineena | نساؤكم حرث لكم فأتوا حرثكم أنى شئتم وقدموا لأنفسكم واتقوا الله واعلموا أنكم ملاقوه وبشر المؤمنين نِسَآؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَّكُمْ فَأْتُواْ حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ وَقَدِّمُواْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّكُم مُّلاَقُوهُ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |نساؤكم - Your wives| حرث - (are) a tilth| لكم - for you,| فأتوا - so come| حرثكم - (to) your tilth| أنى - when| شئتم - you wish,| وقدموا - and send forth (good deeds)| لأنفسكم - for yourselves.| واتقوا - And be conscious| الله - (of) Allah| واعلموا - and know| أنكم - that you| ملاقوه - (will) meet Him.| وبشر - And give glad tidings| المؤمنين - (to) the believers.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:235] | Wala junaha AAalaykum feemaAAarradtum bihi min khitbati alnnisa-iaw aknantum fee anfusikum AAalima Allahu annakum satathkuroonahunnawalakin la tuwaAAidoohunna sirran illaan taqooloo qawlan maAAroofan wala taAAzimoo AAuqdata alnnikahihatta yablugha alkitabu ajalahu waiAAlamooanna Allaha yaAAlamu ma fee anfusikum faihtharoohuwaiAAlamoo anna Allaha ghafoorun haleemun | ولا جناح عليكم فيما عرضتم به من خطبة النساء أو أكننتم في أنفسكم علم الله أنكم ستذكرونهن ولكن لا تواعدوهن سرا إلا أن تقولوا قولا معروفا ولا تعزموا عقدة النكاح حتى يبلغ الكتاب أجله واعلموا أن الله يعلم ما في أنفسكم فاحذروه واعلموا أن الله غفور حليم وَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا عَرَّضْتُم بِهِ مِنْ خِطْبَةِ النِّسَاءِ أَوْ أَكْنَنتُمْ فِي أَنفُسِكُمْ عَلِمَ اللّهُ أَنَّكُمْ سَتَذْكُرُونَهُنَّ وَلَـكِن لاَّ تُوَاعِدُوهُنَّ سِرًّا إِلاَّ أَن تَقُولُواْ قَوْلاً مَّعْرُوفًا وَلاَ تَعْزِمُواْ عُقْدَةَ النِّكَاحِ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ الْكِتَابُ أَجَلَهُ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي أَنفُسِكُمْ فَاحْذَرُوهُ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (there is) no| جناح - blame| عليكم - upon you| فيما - in what| عرضتم - you hint| به - [with it]| من - of| خطبة - marriage proposal| النساء - [to] the women| أو - or| أكننتم - you conceal it| في - in| أنفسكم - yourselves.| علم - Knows| الله - Allah| أنكم - that you| ستذكرونهن - will mention them,| ولكن - [and] but| لا - (do) not| تواعدوهن - promise them (widows)| سرا - secretly| إلا - except| أن - that| تقولوا - you say| قولا - a saying| معروفا - honorable.| ولا - And (do) not| تعزموا - resolve (on)| عقدة - the knot| النكاح - (of) marriage| حتى - until| يبلغ - reaches| الكتاب - the prescribed term| أجله - its end.| واعلموا - And know| أن - that| الله - Allah| يعلم - knows| ما - what| في - (is) within| أنفسكم - yourselves| فاحذروه - so beware of Him.| واعلموا - And know| أن - that| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| حليم - Most Forbearing.| | ||||||
| 5 [6:81] | Wakayfa akhafu ma ashraktumwala takhafoona annakum ashraktum biAllahima lam yunazzil bihi AAalaykum sultanan faayyualfareeqayni ahaqqu bial-amni in kuntum taAAlamoona | وكيف أخاف ما أشركتم ولا تخافون أنكم أشركتم بالله ما لم ينزل به عليكم سلطانا فأي الفريقين أحق بالأمن إن كنتم تعلمون وَكَيْفَ أَخَافُ مَا أَشْرَكْتُمْ وَلاَ تَخَافُونَ أَنَّكُمْ أَشْرَكْتُم بِاللّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ عَلَيْكُمْ سُلْطَانًا فَأَيُّ الْفَرِيقَيْنِ أَحَقُّ بِالْأَمْنِ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وكيف - And how| أخاف - could I fear| ما - what| أشركتم - you associate (with Allah)| ولا - while not| تخافون - you fear| أنكم - that you| أشركتم - have associated| بالله - with Allah| ما - what| لم - not| ينزل - did He send down| به - for it| عليكم - to you| سلطانا - any authority.| فأي - So which| الفريقين - (of) the two parties| أحق - has more right| بالأمن - to security| إن - if| كنتم - you| تعلمون - know?"| | ||||||
| 6 [9:2] | Faseehoo fee al-ardi arbaAAataashhurin waiAAlamoo annakum ghayru muAAjizee Allahiwaanna Allaha mukhzee alkafireena | فسيحوا في الأرض أربعة أشهر واعلموا أنكم غير معجزي الله وأن الله مخزي الكافرين فَسِيحُواْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّكُمْ غَيْرُ مُعْجِزِي اللّهِ وَأَنَّ اللّهَ مُخْزِي الْكَافِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فسيحوا - So move about| في - in| الأرض - the land| أربعة - (during) four| أشهر - months| واعلموا - but know| أنكم - that you| غير - (can) not| معجزي - escape| الله - Allah| وأن - and that| الله - Allah| مخزي - (is) the One Who (will) disgrace| الكافرين - the disbelievers.| | ||||||
| 7 [9:3] | Waathanun mina Allahiwarasoolihi ila alnnasi yawma alhajjial-akbari anna Allaha baree-on mina almushrikeenawarasooluhu fa-in tubtum fahuwa khayrun lakum wa-in tawallaytumfaiAAlamoo annakum ghayru muAAjizee Allahiwabashshiri allatheena kafaroo biAAathabin aleemin | وأذان من الله ورسوله إلى الناس يوم الحج الأكبر أن الله بريء من المشركين ورسوله فإن تبتم فهو خير لكم وإن توليتم فاعلموا أنكم غير معجزي الله وبشر الذين كفروا بعذاب أليم وَأَذَانٌ مِّنَ اللّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ إِلَى النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْحَجِّ الْأَكْبَرِ أَنَّ اللّهَ بَرِيءٌ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَرَسُولُهُ فَإِن تُبْتُمْ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّكُمْ غَيْرُ مُعْجِزِي اللّهِ وَبَشِّرِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |وأذان - And an announcement| من - from Allah| الله - from Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger| إلى - to| الناس - the people| يوم - (on the) day| الحج - (of) the greater Pilgrimage| الأكبر - (of) the greater Pilgrimage| أن - that| الله - Allah| بريء - (is) free from obligations| من - [of]| المشركين - (to) the polytheists,| ورسوله - and (so is) His Messenger.| فإن - So if| تبتم - you repent,| فهو - then, it is| خير - best| لكم - for you.| وإن - But if| توليتم - you turn away| فاعلموا - then know| أنكم - that you| غير - (can) not| معجزي - escape| الله - Allah.| وبشر - And give glad tidings| الذين - (to) those who| كفروا - disbelieve| بعذاب - of a punishment| أليم - painful.| | ||||||
| 8 [23:35] | AyaAAidukum annakum itha mittumwakuntum turaban waAAithaman annakummukhrajoona | أيعدكم أنكم إذا متم وكنتم ترابا وعظاما أنكم مخرجون أَيَعِدُكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ إِذَا مِتُّمْ وَكُنتُمْ تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَنَّكُم مُّخْرَجُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أيعدكم - Does he promise you -| أنكم - that you| إذا - when| متم - you are dead| وكنتم - and you become| ترابا - dust| وعظاما - and bones| أنكم - that you| مخرجون - (will be) brought forth?| | ||||||
| 9 [23:114] | Qala in labithtum illaqaleelan law annakum kuntum taAAlamoona | قال إن لبثتم إلا قليلا لو أنكم كنتم تعلمون قَالَ إِن لَّبِثْتُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا لَّوْ أَنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He will say,| إن - "Not| لبثتم - you stayed| إلا - but| قليلا - a little,| لو - if| أنكم - only you| كنتم - [you]| تعلمون - knew.| | ||||||
| 10 [43:39] | Walan yanfaAAakumu alyawma ith thalamtumannakum fee alAAathabi mushtarikoona | ولن ينفعكم اليوم إذ ظلمتم أنكم في العذاب مشتركون وَلَن يَنفَعَكُمُ الْيَوْمَ إِذ ظَّلَمْتُمْ أَنَّكُمْ فِي الْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولن - And never| ينفعكم - will benefit you| اليوم - the Day,| إذ - when| ظلمتم - you have wronged,| أنكم - that you| في - (will be) in| العذاب - the punishment| مشتركون - sharing.| | ||||||
| 11 [51:23] | Fawarabbi alssama-i waal-ardiinnahu lahaqqun mithla ma annakum tantiqoona | فورب السماء والأرض إنه لحق مثل ما أنكم تنطقون فَوَرَبِّ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُ لَحَقٌّ مِّثْلَ مَا أَنَّكُمْ تَنطِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فورب - Then by (the) Lord| السماء - (of) the heaven| والأرض - and the earth,| إنه - indeed, it| لحق - (is) surely (the) truth| مثل - (just) as| ما - [what]| أنكم - you| تنطقون - speak.| | ||||||
| 12 [56:82] | WatajAAaloona rizqakum annakum tukaththiboona | وتجعلون رزقكم أنكم تكذبون وَتَجْعَلُونَ رِزْقَكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ تُكَذِّبُونَ | |||||

| 13 [62:6] | Qul ya ayyuha allatheenahadoo in zaAAamtum annakum awliyao lillahimin dooni alnnasi fatamannawoo almawta in kuntum sadiqeena | قل يا أيها الذين هادوا إن زعمتم أنكم أولياء لله من دون الناس فتمنوا الموت إن كنتم صادقين قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ هَادُوا إِن زَعَمْتُمْ أَنَّكُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ لِلَّهِ مِن دُونِ النَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُا الْمَوْتَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| يا - O| أيها - "O| الذين - you (who)| هادوا - (are) Jews!| إن - If| زعمتم - you claim| أنكم - that you| أولياء - (are) allies| لله - of Allah.| من - from| دون - excluding| الناس - the people,| فتمنوا - then wish| الموت - (for) the death,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful."| | ||||||
