| 1 [4:31] | In tajtaniboo kaba-ira matunhawna AAanhu nukaffir AAankum sayyi-atikum wanudkhilkummudkhalan kareeman |  إن تجتنبوا كبائر ما تنهون عنه نكفر عنكم سيئاتكم وندخلكم مدخلا كريماإِن تَجْتَنِبُواْ كَبَآئِرَ مَا تُنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ نُكَفِّرْ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَنُدْخِلْكُم مُّدْخَلاً كَرِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |إن - If| تجتنبوا - you avoid| كبائر - great (sins)| ما - (of) what| تنهون - you are forbidden| عنه - from [it],| نكفر - We will remove| عنكم - from you| سيئاتكم - your evil deeds| وندخلكم - and We will admit you| مدخلا - (to) an entrance| كريما - noble.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:55] | Faminhum man amana bihi waminhum man saddaAAanhu wakafa bijahannama saAAeeran | فمنهم من آمن به ومنهم من صد عنه وكفى بجهنم سعيرا فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ آمَنَ بِهِ وَمِنْهُم مَّن صَدَّ عَنْهُ وَكَفَى بِجَهَنَّمَ سَعِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |فمنهم - Then of them| من - (are some) who| آمن - believed| به - in him| ومنهم - and of them| من - (are some) who| صد - turned away| عنه - from him,| وكفى - and sufficient| بجهنم - (is) Hell| سعيرا - (as a) Blazing Fire.| | ||||||
| 3 [4:161] | Waakhthihimu alrribawaqad nuhoo AAanhu waaklihim amwala alnnasibialbatili waaAAtadna lilkafireenaminhum AAathaban aleeman | وأخذهم الربا وقد نهوا عنه وأكلهم أموال الناس بالباطل وأعتدنا للكافرين منهم عذابا أليما وَأَخْذِهِمُ الرِّبَا وَقَدْ نُهُواْ عَنْهُ وَأَكْلِهِمْ أَمْوَالَ النَّاسِ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ مِنْهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |وأخذهم - And for their taking| الربا - (of) [the] usury| وقد - while certainly| نهوا - they were forbidden| عنه - from it| وأكلهم - and (for) their consuming| أموال - wealth| الناس - (of) the people| بالباطل - wrongfully.| وأعتدنا - And We have prepared| للكافرين - for the disbelievers| منهم - among them| عذابا - a punishment| أليما - painful.| | ||||||
| 4 [5:119] | Qala Allahu hathayawmu yanfaAAu alssadiqeena sidquhum lahumjannatun tajree min tahtiha al-anharukhalideena feeha abadan radiya AllahuAAanhum waradoo AAanhu thalika alfawzu alAAatheemu | قال الله هذا يوم ينفع الصادقين صدقهم لهم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها أبدا رضي الله عنهم ورضوا عنه ذلك الفوز العظيم قَالَ اللّهُ هَذَا يَوْمُ يَنفَعُ الصَّادِقِينَ صِدْقُهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا رَّضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُواْ عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |قال - Will say| الله - Allah,| هذا - "This| يوم - Day| ينفع - will profit| الصادقين - the truthful| صدقهم - their truthfulness."| لهم - For them| جنات - (are) Gardens| تجري - flows| من - from| تحتها - underneath it| الأنهار - the rivers| خالدين - will abide| فيها - in it| أبدا - forever."| رضي - is pleased| الله - Allah| عنهم - with them| ورضوا - and they are pleased| عنه - with Him.| ذلك - That| الفوز - (is) the success,| العظيم - (the) great.| | ||||||
| 5 [6:16] | Man yusraf AAanhu yawma-ithinfaqad rahimahu wathalika alfawzu almubeenu | من يصرف عنه يومئذ فقد رحمه وذلك الفوز المبين مَّن يُصْرَفْ عَنْهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمَهُ وَذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْمُبِينُ | |||||
| Words | |من - Whoever| يصرف - is averted| عنه - from it| يومئذ - that Day| فقد - then surely| رحمه - He had Mercy on him.| وذلك - And that| الفوز - (is) the success| المبين - (the) clear.| | ||||||
| 6 [6:26] | Wahum yanhawna AAanhu wayan-awna AAanhuwa-in yuhlikoona illa anfusahum wama yashAAuroona | وهم ينهون عنه وينأون عنه وإن يهلكون إلا أنفسهم وما يشعرون وَهُمْ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ وَيَنْأَوْنَ عَنْهُ وَإِن يُهْلِكُونَ إِلاَّ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وهم - And they| ينهون - forbid (others)| عنه - from it| وينأون - and they keep away| عنه - from it.| وإن - And not| يهلكون - they destroy| إلا - except| أنفسهم - themselves| وما - and not| يشعرون - they perceive.| | ||||||
| 7 [6:28] | Bal bada lahum ma kanooyukhfoona min qablu walaw ruddoo laAAadoo limanuhoo AAanhu wa-innahum lakathiboona | بل بدا لهم ما كانوا يخفون من قبل ولو ردوا لعادوا لما نهوا عنه وإنهم لكاذبون بَلْ بَدَا لَهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يُخْفُونَ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَوْ رُدُّواْ لَعَادُواْ لِمَا نُهُواْ عَنْهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |بل - Nay,| بدا - became manifest| لهم - for them| ما - what| كانوا - they used to| يخفون - conceal| من - from| قبل - before.| ولو - And if| ردوا - they were sent back| لعادوا - certainly they (would) return| لما - to what| نهوا - they were forbidden| عنه - from it,| وإنهم - and indeed they| لكاذبون - certainly are liars.| | ||||||
| 8 [7:166] | Falamma AAataw AAan ma nuhooAAanhu qulna lahum koonoo qiradatan khasi-eena | فلما عتوا عن ما نهوا عنه قلنا لهم كونوا قردة خاسئين فَلَمَّا عَتَوْاْ عَن مَّا نُهُواْ عَنْهُ قُلْنَا لَهُمْ كُونُواْ قِرَدَةً خَاسِئِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| عتوا - they exceeded all bounds| عن - about| ما - what| نهوا - they were forbidden| عنه - from it,| قلنا - We said| لهم - to them,| كونوا - "Be| قردة - apes,| خاسئين - despised."| | ||||||
| 9 [8:20] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooateeAAoo Allaha warasoolahu wala tawallawAAanhu waantum tasmaAAoona | يا أيها الذين آمنوا أطيعوا الله ورسوله ولا تولوا عنه وأنتم تسمعون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَطِيعُواْ اللّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَلاَ تَوَلَّوْا عَنْهُ وَأَنتُمْ تَسْمَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| أطيعوا - Obey| الله - Allah| ورسوله - and His Messenger.| ولا - And (do) not| تولوا - turn away| عنه - from him| وأنتم - while you| تسمعون - hear.| | ||||||
| 10 [9:100] | Waalssabiqoona al-awwaloonamina almuhajireena waal-ansari waallatheenaittabaAAoohum bi-ihsanin radiya AllahuAAanhum waradoo AAanhu waaAAadda lahum jannatintajree tahtaha al-anharu khalideenafeeha abadan thalika alfawzu alAAatheemu | والسابقون الأولون من المهاجرين والأنصار والذين اتبعوهم بإحسان رضي الله عنهم ورضوا عنه وأعد لهم جنات تجري تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها أبدا ذلك الفوز العظيم وَالسَّابِقُونَ الْأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنصَارِ وَالَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُم بِإِحْسَانٍ رَّضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُواْ عَنْهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي تَحْتَهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |والسابقون - And the forerunners,| الأولون - the first| من - among| المهاجرين - the emigrants| والأنصار - and the helpers| والذين - and those who| اتبعوهم - followed them| بإحسان - in righteousness,| رضي - Allah is pleased| الله - Allah is pleased| عنهم - with them,| ورضوا - and they are pleased| عنه - with Him.| وأعد - And He has prepared| لهم - for them| جنات - Gardens| تجري - flows| تحتها - underneath it| الأنهار - the rivers,| خالدين - will abide| فيها - in it| أبدا - forever.| ذلك - That| الفوز - (is) the success| العظيم - the great.| | ||||||
| 11 [10:12] | Wa-itha massa al-insana alddurrudaAAana lijanbihi aw qaAAidan aw qa-imanfalamma kashafna AAanhu durrahu marra kaanlam yadAAuna ila durrin massahu kathalikazuyyina lilmusrifeena ma kanoo yaAAmaloona | وإذا مس الإنسان الضر دعانا لجنبه أو قاعدا أو قائما فلما كشفنا عنه ضره مر كأن لم يدعنا إلى ضر مسه كذلك زين للمسرفين ما كانوا يعملون وَإِذَا مَسَّ الْإِنسَانَ الضُّرُّ دَعَانَا لِجَنبِهِ أَوْ قَاعِدًا أَوْ قَآئِمًا فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُ ضُرَّهُ مَرَّ كَأَن لَّمْ يَدْعُنَا إِلَى ضُرٍّ مَّسَّهُ كَذَلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| مس - touches| الإنسان - the man| الضر - the affliction| دعانا - he calls Us,| لجنبه - (lying) on his side| أو - or| قاعدا - sitting| أو - or| قائما - standing.| فلما - But when| كشفنا - We remove| عنه - from him| ضره - his affliction| مر - he passes on| كأن - as if he| لم - (had) not| يدعنا - called Us| إلى - for| ضر - (the) affliction| مسه - (that) touched him.| كذلك - Thus| زين - (it) is made fair seeming| للمسرفين - to the extravagant| ما - what| كانوا - they used (to)| يعملون - do.| | ||||||
| 12 [11:88] | Qala ya qawmi araaytum inkuntu AAala bayyinatin min rabbee warazaqanee minhu rizqanhasanan wama oreedu an okhalifakum ilama anhakum AAanhu in oreedu illa al-islahama istataAAtu wama tawfeeqee illa biAllahiAAalayhi tawakkaltu wa-ilayhi oneebu | قال يا قوم أرأيتم إن كنت على بينة من ربي ورزقني منه رزقا حسنا وما أريد أن أخالفكم إلى ما أنهاكم عنه إن أريد إلا الإصلاح ما استطعت وما توفيقي إلا بالله عليه توكلت وإليه أنيب قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِن كُنتُ عَلَىَ بَيِّنَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّي وَرَزَقَنِي مِنْهُ رِزْقًا حَسَنًا وَمَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُخَالِفَكُمْ إِلَى مَا أَنْهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ إِنْ أُرِيدُ إِلاَّ الْإِصْلاَحَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ وَمَا تَوْفِيقِي إِلاَّ بِاللّهِ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ أُنِيبُ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| أرأيتم - Do you see| إن - if| كنت - I am| على - on| بينة - a clear evidence| من - from| ربي - my Lord,| ورزقني - and He has provided me| منه - from Himself| رزقا - a good provision?| حسنا - a good provision?| وما - And not| أريد - I intend| أن - that| أخالفكم - I differ from you| إلى - in| ما - what| أنهاكم - I forbid you| عنه - from it.| إن - Not| أريد - I intend| إلا - except| الإصلاح - the reform| ما - as much as I am able.| استطعت - as much as I am able.| وما - And not| توفيقي - (is) my success| إلا - except| بالله - with Allah.| عليه - Upon Him| توكلت - I trust| وإليه - and to Him| أنيب - I turn.| | ||||||
| 13 [12:13] | Qala innee layahzununee an thathhaboobihi waakhafu an ya/kulahu alththi/buwaantum AAanhu ghafiloona | قال إني ليحزنني أن تذهبوا به وأخاف أن يأكله الذئب وأنتم عنه غافلون قَالَ إِنِّي لَيَحْزُنُنِي أَن تَذْهَبُواْ بِهِ وَأَخَافُ أَن يَأْكُلَهُ الذِّئْبُ وَأَنتُمْ عَنْهُ غَافِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| إني - "Indeed, [I]| ليحزنني - it surely saddens me| أن - that| تذهبوا - you should take him| به - you should take him| وأخاف - and I fear| أن - that| يأكله - would eat him| الذئب - a wolf| وأنتم - while you| عنه - of him| غافلون - (are) unaware."| | ||||||
| 14 [12:24] | Walaqad hammat bihi wahamma biha lawlaan raa burhana rabbihi kathalika linasrifaAAanhu alssoo-a waalfahshaa innahumin AAibadina almukhlaseena | ولقد همت به وهم بها لولا أن رأى برهان ربه كذلك لنصرف عنه السوء والفحشاء إنه من عبادنا المخلصين وَلَقَدْ هَمَّتْ بِهِ وَهَمَّ بِهَا لَوْلاَ أَن رَّأَى بُرْهَانَ رَبِّهِ كَذَلِكَ لِنَصْرِفَ عَنْهُ السُّوءَ وَالْفَحْشَاءَ إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُخْلَصِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| همت - she did desire| به - him,| وهم - and he would have desired| بها - her,| لولا - if not| أن - that| رأى - he saw| برهان - the proof| ربه - (of) his Lord.| كذلك - Thus,| لنصرف - that We might avert| عنه - from him| السوء - the evil| والفحشاء - and the immorality.| إنه - Indeed, he| من - (was) of| عبادنا - Our slaves| المخلصين - the sincere.| | ||||||
| 15 [12:34] | Faistajaba lahu rabbuhu fasarafaAAanhu kaydahunna innahu huwa alssameeAAu alAAaleemu | فاستجاب له ربه فصرف عنه كيدهن إنه هو السميع العليم فَاسْتَجَابَ لَهُ رَبُّهُ فَصَرَفَ عَنْهُ كَيْدَهُنَّ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |فاستجاب - So responded| له - to him| ربه - his Lord,| فصرف - and turned away| عنه - from him| كيدهن - their plot.| إنه - Indeed, [He]| هو - He| السميع - (is) All-Hearer,| العليم - All-Knower.| | ||||||
| 16 [12:61] | Qaloo sanurawidu AAanhu abahuwa-inna lafaAAiloona | قالوا سنراود عنه أباه وإنا لفاعلون قَالُواْ سَنُرَاوِدُ عَنْهُ أَبَاهُ وَإِنَّا لَفَاعِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| سنراود - "We will try to get permission| عنه - for him| أباه - (from) his father,| وإنا - and indeed we,| لفاعلون - surely will do."| | ||||||
| 17 [17:36] | Wala taqfu ma laysa laka bihiAAilmun inna alssamAAa waalbasara waalfu-adakullu ola-ika kana AAanhu mas-oolan | ولا تقف ما ليس لك به علم إن السمع والبصر والفؤاد كل أولئك كان عنه مسئولا وَلاَ تَقْفُ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ إِنَّ السَّمْعَ وَالْبَصَرَ وَالْفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُولَـئِكَ كَانَ عَنْهُ مَسْؤُولاً | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تقف - pursue| ما - what| ليس - not| لك - you have| به - of it| علم - any knowledge.| إن - Indeed,| السمع - the hearing,| والبصر - and the sight,| والفؤاد - and the heart| كل - all| أولئك - those| كان - will be| عنه - [about it]| مسئولا - questioned.| | ||||||
| 18 [20:100] | Man aAArada AAanhu fa-innahu yahmiluyawma alqiyamati wizran | من أعرض عنه فإنه يحمل يوم القيامة وزرا مَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَحْمِلُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وِزْرًا | |||||
| Words | |من - Whoever| أعرض - turns away| عنه - from it,| فإنه - then indeed, he| يحمل - will bear| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) Resurrection| وزرا - a burden.| | ||||||
| 19 [26:5] | Wama ya/teehim min thikrin minaalrrahmani muhdathin illa kanooAAanhu muAArideena | وما يأتيهم من ذكر من الرحمن محدث إلا كانوا عنه معرضين وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن ذِكْرٍ مِّنَ الرَّحْمَنِ مُحْدَثٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا عَنْهُ مُعْرِضِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And (does) not| يأتيهم - come to them| من - any| ذكر - reminder| من - from| الرحمن - the Most Gracious| محدث - new,| إلا - but| كانوا - they| عنه - from it| معرضين - turn away.| | ||||||
| 20 [28:55] | Wa-itha samiAAoo allaghwa aAAradooAAanhu waqaloo lana aAAmaluna walakumaAAmalukum salamun AAalaykum la nabtagheealjahileena | وإذا سمعوا اللغو أعرضوا عنه وقالوا لنا أعمالنا ولكم أعمالكم سلام عليكم لا نبتغي الجاهلين وَإِذَا سَمِعُوا اللَّغْوَ أَعْرَضُوا عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا لَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ لَا نَبْتَغِي الْجَاهِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| سمعوا - they hear| اللغو - vain talk,| أعرضوا - they turn away| عنه - from it| وقالوا - and say,| لنا - "For us| أعمالنا - our deeds| ولكم - and for you| أعمالكم - your deeds.| سلام - Peace (be)| عليكم - on you;| لا - not| نبتغي - we seek| الجاهلين - the ignorant."| | ||||||
