| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[4:161] | Waakhthihimu alrribawaqad nuhoo AAanhu waaklihim amwala alnnasibialbatili waaAAtadna lilkafireenaminhum AAathaban aleeman
|  وأخذهم الربا وقد نهوا عنه وأكلهم أموال الناس بالباطل وأعتدنا للكافرين منهم عذابا أليما
وَأَخْذِهِمُ الرِّبَا وَقَدْ نُهُواْ عَنْهُ وَأَكْلِهِمْ أَمْوَالَ النَّاسِ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ مِنْهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا |
| Words | |وأخذهم - And for their taking| الربا - (of) [the] usury| وقد - while certainly| نهوا - they were forbidden| عنه - from it| وأكلهم - and (for) their consuming| أموال - wealth| الناس - (of) the people| بالباطل - wrongfully.| وأعتدنا - And We have prepared| للكافرين - for the disbelievers| منهم - among them| عذابا - a punishment| أليما - painful.| |

| ከእርሱ በቁርጥ የተከለከሉ ሲኾኑ አራጣንም በመያዛቸውና የሰዎችን ገንዘቦች ያለ አግባብ (በጉቦ) በመብላታቸውም ምክንያት (የተፈቀደላቸውን እርም አደረግንባቸው)፡፡ ከእነሱም ለከሓዲዎቹ አሳማሚን ቅጣት አዘጋጀን፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وأخذهم الربا وقد نُهوا عنه } في التوراة { وأكلهم أموال الناس بالباطل } بالرشا في الحكم { وأعتدنا للكافرين منهم عذابا أليما } مؤلما . |
| u ssexdamen rrba, i illan tepwakkes asen, u teppen ayla n medden, d aêerfi. Nhegga d, i ijehliyen segsen, aâaqeb aqeôêan. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর এ কারণে যে, তারা সুদ গ্রহণ করত, অথচ এ ব্যাপারে নিষেধাজ্ঞা আরোপ করা হয়েছিল এবং এ কারণে যে, তারা অপরের সম্পদ ভোগ করতো অন্যায় ভাবে। বস্তুত; আমি কাফেরদের জন্য তৈরী করে রেখেছি বেদনাদায়ক আযাব। |
| Literal | And their taking the interest/usury , and they had been forbidden/prevented from it, and their eating the people's properties/possessions with the falsehood (could include unjust taxes), and We prepared to the disbelievers from them, a painful torture. |
