| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[87:9] | Fathakkir in nafaAAati alththikra
|  فذكر إن نفعت الذكرى
فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ الذِّكْرَى |
| Words | |فذكر - So remind,| إن - if| نفعت - benefits| الذكرى - the reminder.| |

| ግሣጼይቱ ብትጠቅም (ሰዎችን) ገሥጽም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { فذكر } عظ بالقرآن { إن نفعت الذكرى } من تذكرة المذكور في سيذكر، يعني وإن لم تنفع ونفعها لبعض وعدم النفع لبعض آخر. |
| Smmekti mi infaâ usmekti. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | উপদেশ ফলপ্রসূ হলে উপদেশ দান করুন, |
| Literal | So remind if the remembrance/reminder benefited. |
| Yusuf Ali | Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). |
