| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[85:8] | Wama naqamoo minhum illa anyu/minoo biAllahi alAAazeezi alhameedi
|  وما نقموا منهم إلا أن يؤمنوا بالله العزيز الحميد
وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَن يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ |
| Words | |وما - And not| نقموا - they resented| منهم - [of] them| إلا - except| أن - that| يؤمنوا - they believed| بالله - in Allah| العزيز - the All-Mighty,| الحميد - the Praiseworthy,| |

| ከእነርሱም በአላህ አሸናፊው፣ ምስጉኑ በኾነው (ጌታ) ማመናቸውን እንጅ ሌላ ምንም አልጠሉም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وما نقموا منهم إلا أن يؤمنوا بالله العزيز } في ملكه { الحميد } المحمود. |
| Ur illi ay sen stebâan, siwa imi umnen s Öebbi, Uzmir, Amaâzuz. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা তাদেরকে শাস্তি দিয়েছিল শুধু এ কারণে যে, তারা প্রশংসিত, পরাক্রান্ত আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছিল, |
| Literal | And they did not revenge/punish from them except (because) that (E) they believe with (in) God, the glorious/mighty , the praiseworthy/commendable. |
