| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[82:19] | Yawma la tamliku nafsun linafsinshay-an waal-amru yawma-ithin lillahi
|  يوم لا تملك نفس لنفس شيئا والأمر يومئذ لله
يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْئًا وَالْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّهِ |
| Words | |يوم - (The) Day| لا - not| تملك - will have power| نفس - a soul| لنفس - for a soul| شيئا - anything,| والأمر - and the Command| يومئذ - that Day| لله - (will be) with Allah.| |

| (እርሱ) ማንኛይቱም ነፍስ ለሌላይቱ ነፍስ ምንም ማድረግን የማትችልበት ቀን ነው፡፡ ነገሩም ሁሉ በዚያ ቀን ለአላህ ብቻ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { يوم } بالرفع، أي هو يوم { لا تملك نفس لنفس شيئا } من المنفعة { والأمر يومئذ لله } لا أمر لغيره فيه، أي لم يمكن أحدا من التوسط فيه بخلاف الدنيا. |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যেদিন কেউ কারও কোন উপকার করতে পারবে না এবং সেদিন সব কতৃêত্ব হবে আল্লাহর। |
| Literal | A day/time a self does not own/possess to a self a thing, and the matter/affair/order/command (on) that day (is) to God. |
| Yusuf Ali | (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. |
